1801  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1-5 min scalping on binance is it worth it on: July 18, 2022, 11:09:48 AM
I don't know if it is worth it, but I know that it is going to be something quite rare to get, and that is why I really doubt that you would have a success doing it if you are a newbie. Try being a very good trader first, with demo accounts and studying online from courses and youtube videos etc. If you are doing all of that then you are going to get a good result, or at least a better result than what you would get otherwise. Does that make sense to you? I do not know if it does, but it is certainly a method where you start not from zero, and not starting from zero means that you will get a better result one way or another.
Traders need to understand that the shorter the time frame they use for their charts the more difficult it is to obtain profits, anyone that is interested in becoming a trader should probably start with a slow chart like the one day chart and trade the markets for months until they can see if they are profitable or not, if they are profitable then they can move to the 4 hour chart, one hour chart, 15 minutes chart and so on until they get to their desired time frame, but jumping directly to the 5 minutes or one minute chart is a jump that it is too difficult for most newbies to pull off.

You have a very good point on this, because some newbie traders may think that it is this easy.
They need to have a very good understanding of the specific market they want to trade with.
The 1-5 min scalping period is very short and one should really be very fast in terms of their decision aspect.
And that entails a comprehensive knowledge of what's going on with the market and have a wide understanding of it.
The profitability depends on the trader's skills on how he strategize his scalping activities.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 18, 2022, 06:22:47 AM
Fans would want to see the fight ending in a KO rather than the decision so once and for all controversy will be over. Both GGG and Canelo are great fighters and they have their own fan-based, so we cannot really prevent from people thinking that the decision was not fair because as a fan we are sometimes biased.

I think a KO match won't happen as both will try to avoid it. During their first two fights, both shown that they don't want to be KO and just try to remain stronger on their feet. But even the KO result will not happend, I think they will give us a good fight as they know what fans want to see them once they face each other on the ring.

I also have the feeling that they will be very careful inside the ring.
So we may even see the Mayweather-style here, if they won't engage inside the ring.
Both would want to prove that they are the best on this division, so let's see what's gonna be watching here.
Canelo for sure wants to win this fight after his recent loss, whereas, GGG may want to win as well before he hangs up his gloves.
1803  Economy / Gambling / Re: Good gambling tipster on: July 18, 2022, 05:18:04 AM
Nope, we don't know him. I guess the person on the video is either you or someone you know that you would want to advertise here at the forum.

PS. I don't think is that great for me to be convinced to bet on GSW. Also, I think he is a warriors fans
Same thought here , It is His own account that wanted to be clicked from this forum , Imagine that the person he is posting is just having few videos yet he believes that it is a good tipster?

where in the universe that a new youtubers that had nothing proven yet but already gaining this belief?

I also believe that this is him or someone close to Him and also we are not used in clicking Links specially from newbie accounts.

Whatever his intentions are, it won't really click to the forum users/gamblers.
Because for one, most will likely look at the profile of the Youtuber, and for the OP's link, it has only 130 subscribers with only 69 views as of this writing.
If the tipster is good and already popular, we will be seeing more numbers here.
So yeah, we don't know if it is the OP or his friends trying to promote the channel.
I won't consider him also as good tipster because it will require time to prove his record in the tipping area.
1804  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 17, 2022, 11:49:00 PM
Of course, we may also be entering a more enjoyable period for betting.

For sure, people are enjoying betting on all sports these days and we are in the pre-covid phase where everything was normal.

I remember in 2020 sports were totally banned and there were very limited options for betting. 2021 was better than 2020 but still, we had some limitations in sports like matches were held without crowds, etc.

2022 seems to be the best year for sports and betting.

It may not be the best but definitely, a lot of things with regard to sports have improved tremendously.
Just take for example, the boxing sports were conducting a lot of exhibition matches in replacement of the real ones.
But at least, people had some form of entertainment and some of these old boxers got some money from these exhibition fights.
And the Paul brothers got their share of limelight even if they are not really professional boxers.
But after this, we are now seeing boxing matches with belts on the line. Even if there is another scare like monkeypox, I think, we are indeed going back to normal.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 17, 2022, 11:16:07 PM
He lost on their first encounter so he made an adjustment, if only Nietes was younger, he could have won the fight. But as we all saw, it was pretty evident that he slowed down, he also lose a bit of power from his punchers that's why IoKa continues to get aggressive.

It makes sense. At least, everyone including me don't buy the age idea as an advantage until we saw the fight.

I really don't consider age as a factor if the boxer on the topic is still deadly in their previous fights prior to that loss which happened to Nietes and one good example too, is Nonito Donaire.

Ioka is also on the goal of revenge and that's a title defense so we can expect that he will do his best to retain his title.

The crowd was also on his side and even without involving the Science here, the crowd favored a boxer can give them the boost they need to defeat the visitors.

Both did their best but Nietes failed to adjust when Ioka does things Nietes least expected.  It is either the failure to size up the situation and adapt or his body failed to readjust according to the situation since he has greatly slowed down.  I know Nietes as an intelligent strategic fighter, he is always calculating but it looks like he failed this time.

Still respect Nietes's determination to continue aiming for the title despite his age and its complications.  I do hope he gets a chance to another title bout and hopefully wins it before he acknowledges that he needs to retire.

He may think of retirement after this fight. He's not getting any younger so better enjoy his remaining years with his family.
At least, he will be retiring in good health rather than with lifetime injury owed by boxing.
Time to hang the gloves and give the stage to younger boxers. I guess, a lot of Filipino boxers are losing on this sports.
Ioka on the other hand, has still years to prove himself inside the boxing ring. At least we are watching good fights in this sports.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 17, 2022, 10:52:38 PM
The market is always inclined towards the utility. The utility of a token is based on the extent of its usage which can be attributed to its utility. Apart from this there are other factors that need to be considered for making it more appealing for people. For example, gambling tokens are free of cost and hence more people can adopt it than others. In addition to these, development teams behind tokens also play a vital role in creating more use cases than other tokens.
If there’s a utility and the site is ok, then i think investing on those casino tokens can be a big thing especially if you are also a player on that site. Though, this may not rewarding since this is a utility token and most of the time only the gamblers support this kind of token, but if you see any good analysis with that tokens then why not. There’s a big role for this utility token, their purpose is to provide liquidity and maybe this can be a big token for that site and gamblers will have no choice but to adopt it.

Much better if you are a regular player of the site as you can keep up with their updates.
You can also track their progress if you are an active player, so you will have an idea how they are doing with their business.
But if you will buy the token and just let it stake, and come back after a while, you may miss something important.
Look for other use case of the token itself as it may add its survival in the market.
Is the team looking for other applications other than casino token only?
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 17, 2022, 09:45:43 PM
I can't remember how much it was but that's not that much compared to those actually addicted gamblers that would be fine losing $1k in just a single spin or roll.

the researchers found that gamblers are satisfied with small wins and will tolerate small losses but when they hit the threshold of loss, they will not play anymore.
Both are true, we're happy with small wins and that makes us content and want to gamble again sometime. And when we lose, it's the temporary halt that we have to make but after moving on, we'll gamble again from that loss.
As gamblers, losses are part in the game so even if we have endure a huge loss, the chance is we will still be gambling again not that we want to chase the losses, but because we want to have more fun in gambling. Even if we say that we have reached already the threshold of loss, for me its very normal. After taking time to rest, then there will come a time that you're excited to gamble again with a small hope that you'll be lucky this time.

If you are really into gambling, you may reach your threshold of loss for the day,
but it doesn't mean that you will totally stop your gambling activities.
You will always go back to gamble, once you replenish your funds for your gambling.
On my end, I only have small threshold of loss that I can allow for myself.
But sometimes, I extend a lil bit if I feel the game is in favor with me, meaning, I am getting my winnings. Tongue
1808  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: July 16, 2022, 11:59:39 PM
Gambling should always be treated with a cool head. Emotions are superfluous here. If you show unnecessary emotions, you will lose. There is no place for impulsive people in serious gambling, everything must be calculated.

Aside from that, it isn't bad to have a plan for every gambling session.  It is one way of gambling responsibly.  Planning the time allocation, money to spend on bankroll, and keeping a tab of the time is one of the things we must consider in playing a Casino game.
Few people can keep their emotions from rising because of various things during their gambling, which happens to many gamblers. By keeping their emotions in check, they will be able to think even if they experience defeat and maybe they will be able to stop for a moment or even stop and leave the gambling place. It also depends on how much they can be responsible for themselves so they do not have to keep playing gambling without stopping.
Gambling is a fun and we need to do it the way that will profit us and we don't need to mind about what many persons thinks about the way we gamble. Casino game are interesting and those that knows what they are doing are making good profits from it that is why it is good to get the skill before thinking of the fun in it.

Once a gambler is already in deep with his gambling activities, hard to think clearly on what's really going on.
Gambling is fun if you are using your extra funds and not borrowing from someone else.
And not expecting that you will go home with your winnings. But if you got inside the casino with the main intention of winning,
I think, that's when you will feel your frustrations if you haven't achieved your targets.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 16, 2022, 11:40:08 PM
I see people who talk about gambling for entertainment as liars, most of them don't want people to see them as gamblers that's why they always use the word entertainment to cover up their gambling activities. Most people who say they gamble for fun and entertainment will use huge funds to gamble and they will never leave the gambling environment yet they are been entertained with their own hard-earned money that is a big lie.
Liars? Don't expect every gambler to think as you, dude. Not every gambler really has a goal to earn money, some gamblers can focus on getting entertainment and earning money is just a bonus. If you only focus on earning money from gambling, you will get stressed or frustrated. It is very difficult to win in gambling since the chance is rather small. So, don't blame people who want to get entertainment from gambling. Every person who joins gambling may have a different purpose/goal.

I can agree with you here. Because there are some occasional players who just wanted to have fun.
Just like those people who are visiting casinos for experience, they don't want to earn but more on gaining some experience or memories.
But of course, if they will win. That's a bonus already for them. But I can understand, if they are regular gamblers,
most of them are really for the possible winnings that they can get. However, hard to chase winnings in gambling.
1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My old officemate become millionaire on investing on Bitcoin on: July 16, 2022, 10:38:16 PM
I particularly avoid talking to people about bitcoin and investments, because when things don't go well people always tend to blame the person who gave them advice. for example if I had told someone that buying bitcoin was good and that person was buying bitcoin when the price was 50,000$ and today the price of bitcoin is at 20,000$ that person would be blaming me, he would be thinking that I deceived him then to to avoid me having unnecessary problems and headaches I don't keep giving advice to people to buy bitcoin. I let them know about bitcoin through other means. in the past I even talked about bitcoin to some people, but it was really out of coincidence that I said

This is true, as you can never tell the future of bitcoin, it is hard to suggest this market to someone.
Unless, that person also understands the risks involve upon investing in this market.
And he knows very well that you are not liable about what may happen next, as you have no control in this market.
Most of the time, I also don't disclose my crypto dealings as I don't want them to lead in a very unfamiliar route.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 15, 2022, 11:54:09 PM
How low would Bitcoin have to fall before it was no longer recoverable?

Price, in my opinion, would not dictate this. It would have to be something that would destroy the foundation and system on which it is built.

what you say?
As long as the community demand is there, bitcoin may fall deeply but it has its own way to recover after. And besides, I would not expect for bitcoin to dump almost into zero value, that is very unlikely to happen even 5-10 years from now. Although there are crashes that leave huge impact on the market particularly for bitcoin, but in my long term experience here, bitcoin price always moves up after in every fall. Bitcoin comes up surging and reaches new all time high, and that is what I believe too right after this bearish market.

It needs a life-changing situation why bitcoin will go down to almost worthless.
But for right now, the $1 value is not in horizon, very very far from the possibility of happening.
But in this market, you need to open yourself to all possibilities as this is very unpredictable market.
Right now, we are still hopeful as many people are interested in this market.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With the hacks and Bitcoin for ransome, who's to be blamed? on: July 15, 2022, 11:22:43 PM
This is a complex situation and I think awareness and upgrading our knowledge technically has become much more important. The hackers will not stop and bitcoin not being centralised becomes our responsibility to protect our wealth.

That's the job of hackers, always finding vulnerabilities to gain something for themselves.
So it is your responsibility as a user to take care of your funds. Third party sites has only limitations when it comes to security.
Be aware of what you are doing over the internet because you may be putting yourself at risk without knowing it.
No one will take care of your funds but yourself. As much as possible, update your security protocols more often.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 15, 2022, 10:51:43 PM
The Chinese people are so strange. They act like luck is some kind of ghost that you have to lure and keep close.

I don't believe in this bullshit with lucky charms, doing or saying certain things before a bet and all. A man who blames a statue for losing in a casino presents himself as weak and childish.
That's really part of their culture and I've seen many times a Chinese does do some prayer before they go in a casino. They pray with an incense in front of buddha.
I was curious back then because I was still young during the first time I've seen it. But, I've come to realize that it's part of their culture, belief and religion.

We all just need is respect when it comes to differences in culture and beliefs.
There are even not Chinese people who have lots of rituals when it comes to their gambling activities.
Some of them have beliefs that they need to follow certain practice before anything else.
No problem with that, we are all entitled to follow what we think will give us some luck.
1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DELTAC] DeltaCryptos ICO - PRE SALE starts August 15 on: July 14, 2022, 11:40:40 PM
DeltaCryptos Token contract address?

Token has not been created yet. We are in the pre-ICO phase. You can check the development roadmap.

As ICO these days are finding it hard to achieve their targets, do you have private funding to pursue the developments?
You will observe that very few are getting their funds via ICO because people are not trusting the ICO anymore.
If you have your own funds, better continue your developments and show a working platform before your crowdsourcing.
That may give a lil bit of trust to your potential investors. Otherwise, you may look for other options on how to finance your project.
1815  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto lender Celsius files for bankruptcy in New York on: July 14, 2022, 10:35:27 PM
Another U.S. crypto lender, Voyager Digital Ltd, filed for bankruptcy this month after suspending withdrawals and deposits. Singapore's Vauld, a smaller lender, also froze withdrawals this month.
All these sort of development sends panic to people who do not know how to stay calm and make a good decision. Panicking can cost a lot, including making rash decisions that we most likely regret in the future.

Celcius since their crisis beginning then collapse and bankruptcy did not provide transparent and public information for their investors. It affects investor soul and get rid of chance to be supported by other crypto whales or big companies.
Lack of transparency especially to investors will not make them stay, if this is true, it means they caused their own issues with lack of transparency, people seldom do business with persons they cannot trust.

During this crisis, I believe most of these crypto companies won't disclose the real deal with their business.
They may give a glimpse on what's happening but high likely that they won't give all the details.
Because for sure, this will cause panic to their stakeholders and they will start withdrawing their funds.
This is why most of the time, holders are already too late to withdraw because the company will just disclose the situation once their frozen their accounts.
1816  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Spanish exchange 2gether shutdown over market crash on: July 13, 2022, 11:51:11 PM
From what I read and understand, there are some things that can be taken at the discretion of the 2gether exchange in Spain.

I've read about the bankruptcy of one of the crypto exchanges because their 'loans' suffered losses when lending Bitcoin prices around $30-40k with the agreed term of the agreement, so that with Bitcoin's current price drop of $19k, the exchange is at a loss, arguing that the initial capital is greater than the payments made by its current customers, so it has to close, they could not cover the Bank.
i think they don't consider full payment, for example: user borrow 2 BTC and return 2 BTC + interest, which they calculate the initial capital when granting the loan, what's more, certain crypto exchanges, live because of local bank loans, of course they have to pay to the bank with fiat money, not crypto.

I judge this, it may also be experienced by the 2gether exchange in Spain plus the government regulations in Spain are strict on the exchange in Spain.

This will not be the last exchange that will close down during this bearish season.
So for crypto users who are still storing their coins inside the exchanges,
better transfer it to their wallets that they have full control of.
It is advisable to take precautions rather than regretting it later.
1817  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 13, 2022, 11:30:30 PM
So unfortunately for the ones cheering and taking a swim in the pool the real cold shower is going to come, when you get sick the operation itself is not painful, the recovery is, and if not done correctly you're going to end at the hospital again.

Temporary pleasure when they vent all the anger, and after that have no solution to get out of the crisis they are experiencing. It is unfortunate that Sri Lanka is currently facing very difficult times. Never found it anywhere waiting for fuel up to 2 days more. Power outages, skyrocketing goods prices and other facilities completely dead, Sri Lanka is not really in a good state. Even though there has been an interim government appointed, it does not mean that it can be easily restored. If the people's demands against the appointed government fail, then a second volume of riots will occur.

In this situation, the people themselves should think of how they can survive in this crisis.
Don't wait for the government's help as they will die from hunger.
As you said, venting their anger is only a temporary pleasure.
But their everyday food, and other living expenses, they should find a way how to get that.
Plant vegetables if you have a small garden, just an example.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 13, 2022, 10:56:07 PM
It is not just about the danger of having identities stolen when websites get hacked.... it is also about the danger about people sending their ID to front websites, those types of websites that are deemed to be genuine but their whole premise is to gather as much information as possible from gullible members that sign up to their services. That information (ID) will then be sold on to other criminal gangs for nefarious purposes.

And if we choose to submit our personal information then I'm afraid that it will also means that we're accepting the risk we could get if in case the site where our identities are submitted will be hacked. I'm also guilty of this because I also submitted my personal details for verification purposes and I'm just hoping that their wall are strong enough to prevent these hackers from going through. Online casinos are one of the main targets of these hackers because the information and details they can get comes with an expensive price in the black market.

The possibility of such situation is always there.
This is why you should only comply with KYC requirements that you think is necessary to do so.
Otherwise, stick to top and reputable gambling sites. As we don't know where our info will end up with.
Hackers will always do their job of screwing up sites. So it is also the job of the sites to update their security protocols.
1819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My class had their first Bitcoin exercise with my class on: July 12, 2022, 11:44:25 PM
Electrum wallet seem boring or should I say less colorful for them.
First, it's a great initiative that you've taught them about Bitcoin and how to store it safely.  But I think, not only Electrum wallet, teach them about other open-source wallets that can be used.  Next is, different wallets that they should be aware what are custodial and non-custodial wallets and also hardware wallets.  But at least you get their interest in Bitcoin and that's enough for now, it might they will have their own research as well since you've mentioned that some of them showed interest.

They must understand the true meaning of the utility of Bitcoin or show them the roadmap of Bitcoin, not just by making a profit.

That's a good start actually. Electrum needs small space unlike the bitcoin core wallet.
So practically, this is a lot easier to install and start their journey in bitcoin.
Other wallets can come next as they get a good understanding about custodial and non-custodial wallets .
Some of these students will be thankful to the OP in the future, as some of them will make a living out of this market.

I'm sure the project you are campaigning for is very good, I don't think this project will be a scam. This project is different from other platforms that are very interesting and easy to understand by new users.

We hope so! Thank you

As there are many DeFi platforms that exited in this market, what is the chance that this network will survive?
What are the positive points that you think will set this network apart from most of the DeFi networks?
Some are already losing their trust in DeFi because the hacking incidents are happening on a serious level.
Also, the longevity is questionable for most DeFi networks as they can easily go down without a warning.
