2841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is ETH very cheap now? on: April 05, 2018, 03:04:28 PM
April last year ETH's price was around $40 and this year's January the price went to the peak at $1,000+. By just looking at the ceiling's price of ETH it's expensive and thanks to the correction that the price went down and it's really cheap now although I bought during $800 as I thought that will be the dip for this 1st quarter.
Just a few months ago the price was $ 1k4 so now it's $ 400. I wonder if it continues to dump?
It fell off to $343 and we can't tell if this will continue to drop.
2842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IS IT THE BEST TIME FOR GAMBLING? on: April 05, 2018, 02:43:56 PM
Ive read some news and threads saying that stocks and cryptos is dropping low and indeed its true. Bitcoins price drops to $7K and is quite disturbing.
I feel that there's connection and there's conspiracy that manipulators are playing the economy it's only the crypto whales but the whole world's economy as Trump declares trade war.
Do you think its the best time for gambling? Given these following reasons.
- A certain loss on holding a coin can be obtained if you win on a bet in gambling and can recover what has been lost to you because of the drop.
For example, You are holding 1 bitcoin and the value before was $7,400 and now it drops to $6,800. Yes there's a loss but 1 bitcoin is still 1 bitcoin. What if you lose and the price drops more, you are on lose-lose situation with this mind set. If you are only holding, hold and keep it.
-  Holding is not that practical because it can be much lowered in the future and better risk it on gambling than seeing it continue dying.
No. If you think that holding isn't practical, Winklevoss twins will not be popular for holding more than 100k bitcoins. This mindset of yours makes you a dedicated gambler.
- Trading or Holding consumes more time and risk and it prolongs the pressure of loss in you mind and stress you through out the day and the only way to release it is to risk it in gambling.
Gambling is giving more pressure.
2843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ripple when it is $3 on: April 05, 2018, 02:17:35 PM
I am crying right now, because I realize that am the stupidest man alive
Don't say this. You are an investor that got in during the wrong season. There are even worst people who are doing bad to others.
I bought ripple when it is $3 and now it is 0.50 I can't sell off right now because I will make the same mistake I made before.
It seems that you know what you are doing and you just have to wait it until the price goes back again at $3. The same timing from those fellows that bought bitcoin on $19,000 and come to think of it on what they are feeling right now.
Is their anybody that made the mistake like me I need you to raise your hand up Tongue
Almost the same mistake, I sold when the price was low due to panic selling and after a couple of days it goes up.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market recovering? on: April 04, 2018, 06:31:53 PM
Yesterday the market was green and now it's already red so quick. The bear has come out and the bull has ran away, yesterday gave the whales to take some decent profits while us who are just holders are just holding for good. We aren't fooled or deceived, this is how the market moves so when it recovers again it's up to you if you want to take profits so that you will not accused that we are fooled.  Smiley
But if you are good for long term hold, no need to worry.
2845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why use cryptocurrency blockchains to gamble? on: April 04, 2018, 06:04:52 PM
But why are people playing poker using (ex: Pokercoin )
It's just for money. Like you are going to an amusement park and you have to buy their token to take any ride you want or you can take those specific rides with that certain token. Nothing is really upgraded with these new tokens / blockchains that they are developing about gambling. They are all the same and does only have one thing to do, and that is to make money out of those tokens that are totally zero value in the beginning. But because of the service it becomes valuable.
2846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse July 15 2018 on: April 04, 2018, 03:59:57 PM
Pacman is going to win, I am pretty sure of it. People seem to discredit Pacquiao after his Mayweather defeat, but don't get confused, Pacman is a straight beast.
I also believe that he's going to win this match. They are now underestimating Manny because of his past losses not only with Mayweather but also with his lost to Jeff Horn.
No doubt it will go the distance, as have his last 10 or so fights, but I expect him to win by UD.
Before Manny's matches aren't even reaching the decision, most of his matches are due to T.K.O but now he's getting older and older, his stamina becomes low same as his endurance but still he has the guts.
2847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does becoming a parent changes the gambler? on: April 04, 2018, 03:23:11 PM
I commend you for not following you father's foot steps, you are a great example to the kids if they know that their grandfather was a drunkard but not their father. I do agree that every person, even your own flesh and blood, will have a different tendencies in getting addicted or not into whatever like gambling, drinking, or, worse, drugs. But the best thing for a parent would probably still be guidance.

I, for one, have tried drugs and I am not too proud of it and regret doing it. I was young and the peer pressure was hard, but when I did try it I did not get addicted and, believe it or not, I did not enjoy it. Probably thanks to the inner voice I hear. I hear my parents talking in my head telling me it is bad to take drugs. Well and good, I never did it again.
That is why I've said that not all kids will be influenced and won't be affected even they have gambling parents. It is base on my experience and drunkard is an addiction to alcoholic drinks and that can be compared the same way with addiction to gambling. You shouldn't be proud that you have taken drugs but you must be proud that you have changed and that's a different scenario in your case that you have those voices coming in your mind and that's the voice of your parents, we're getting far from the main topic here.
2848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does becoming a parent changes the gambler? on: April 03, 2018, 09:50:24 PM
As a role model though, you should show that you are someone they should look up to. Being a gambler is not bad of course, but it does not really set a good example.
This is true, we should set an example to our kids and we must be the role model for them. There are good and bad results for exposing your kid early in gambling industry.
Even if you gamble pretty low amounts, the fact is that it could lead to you child thinking that it is alright to gamble. He may grow up to be someone who gets exposed to gambling early and result to him being addicted to it.
This is one of the bad result that I'm saying.
You are correct that there is a chance they do not turn into an addicted gambler, but still you cannot discount the fact that there is a chance he can get addicted to it. It is better to uphold an image that you do not gamble so when the child grows up, he will think to himself that his dad/mom did not gamble so why should I?
I'll set an example, my father is a drunkard but to tell you the fact, I didn't grew up as a drunkard. This is why I've said that there are kids that aren't affected even they have a gambling parents.
I cannot dictate any parent on what to do, because it is their sole decision what to do with their kids but it is something I morally feel to be right to tell parents.
Right again, they are all big and they know what's best for their kids.  Smiley
2849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: April 03, 2018, 09:28:21 PM
Any type of addiction can be termed as a mental illness. This includes addiction to gambling, drugs, alcohol.etc. If you are addicted to gambling, and you are unable to stop participating in such activities, then you need medical or psychiatric help.
You mean (mental) Illness = disease. We all have different point of views about gambling addiction as a disease or illness. Others are describing it as a problem and to tell you guys that having addiction can be categorized as a disease, you'll think of how you can get out of it. But still we can't argue on this thing as I've said before, we all have different meaning of what addiction really is and whatever the answer base on one's opinion, there's nothing with it.
2850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does becoming a parent changes the gambler? on: April 03, 2018, 08:27:44 PM
I'll put myself in the situation. I'm not comfortable to gamble with my young one and I don't want him/her to be like me. However there are things that we need to enjoy and there's no need to hide it as our kid grows. Adults are changing, kids are developing and there are kids who are growing up on a place where they are influenced by their parents but there are also those kids that aren't affected whether they were grown up by their parents into a gambling place. Parents must give their best to their kids and we all have different meaning and ways of parenting.
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: about this storm :)) on: April 03, 2018, 08:06:32 PM
the blockchain is most talked and underdeveloping technology in the world in all areas so this market slow down is good in one aspect many will participate in the form of buying bitcoins
I also think that there is a connection with the declaration of Trump about the trade wars. And it's currently starting to give itself a good buzz as the price goes up again.
I hope the market will recover and all coins will grow again and the previous prices will return.
As you can see the market is recovering right now but it's impossible to say that "ALL" coins will grow again. There are few coins that has to went through red when majority and bitcoin is on green.
But many investors were scared off by what is happening in the market.
Let them be scared, this is how investment works. If you're not willing to take the risk, don't invest.
2852  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit scam exchange on: April 03, 2018, 01:44:01 PM
I sold my bitcoin God almost a week now and it still in sell order, that why I don't trust all this exchange that have no license, please before you chose any exchange try verify them very well before you loose your hard earn money
Have you checked it if there are also buy orders? Trading exchanges aren't working that way where you'll just sell it and the exchange will buy it automatically. You have to wait for another trader to buy that sell order you've made or create a buy order that you can take. What I can see now is most of the orders on bitcoin god on yobit are only sell so that's why it's still on sell order. You haven't scammed as long as your coin is in that wallet. And if you don't trust this type of exchange, why you used them?
2853  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit Support on: April 02, 2018, 05:56:51 PM
Their support is completely shit anyway. Why another bother to invest on Yobit, although there are better exchanges out there with at least "decent" support they could handle if someone needs support. Although, I haven't encountered with such problem.
We can't stop those traders that are happily using them because they are easy to use and they got a load of altcoins to choose. I can't blame those traders who are staying to them and don't experience any bad thing but I feel bad for those traders that are new to crypto's and they will experience something wrong with the exchange like delays of withdrawal, completed withdrawal but there's no show of balance to the receiving wallet. It's hard to deal with yobit's support but there are concerns that are solved, I don't know if they are picky to the queries or those people that got resolution are just lucky ones to deal with the support quickly.
2854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: safe investment for BTC ?? on: April 02, 2018, 04:39:52 PM
hello .. i want to ask you for advice, where best to invest safe and not scam for BTC?  Smiley
You are looking for something where you can invest for bitcoin? Why not just leave your bitcoin as it is and that's already the best investment that you can take. If you are looking for any altcoin or ICO then you have to take your time doing research on what are the best ICO's that you can invest with. Just keep your bitcoin and hold it until the price goes up again. Avoid those unrealistic returns that an investment is implementing, avoid cloud mining and HYIP (Ponzi schemes).
2855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do you cash out... on: April 02, 2018, 03:56:26 PM
For someone that really wants to get the cheapest method of cashing out your altcoins or even with bitcoin. It must be direct sell or buy through any person that holds that coin. That's how peer to peer transaction will happen. You don't have to get through with any exchanges so that you can avoid fees and this is quick. Another thing is if you want to spend car then ask the seller if they are accepting cryptocurrencies, here in my country you can buy directly with bitcoin and there's some discount using it.
2856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Will China ban bitcoin completely? opinions on: April 02, 2018, 11:41:47 AM
Cryptocurrency ban in China is one of the most discussed topics in the community.
This has been discussed in the forum since last year and I don't think that they actually ban crypto's but they are regulating ICO's but it's unclear on what's really the situation their in China. But what I'm sure of is that there's no existing ban in bitcoin there.
I do not see any reason why would china ban bitcoin
You may not see any reason and even I but they have their own reason to do the ban or regulating cryptocurrencies in their own jurisdiction.
2857  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit Withdrawal on: April 02, 2018, 11:08:54 AM
i withdrawal GAME (GameCredits) total 650$. be 3 week and i still waiting. yobit did not send. but write completed transfer.. my balance zero. i cant contact yobit bcz dont reply tickets. what can i do Sad
They are popular for not replying or having delays in any coins during withdrawals. But if it says that the transfer has been completed, have you checked it out if its confirmed in the network of gamecredits? Check it here https://blockexplorer.gamecredits.com/
If it wasn't on the network then the problem is really with yobit. There's nothing you can do now but to wait for their resolution, most of the complains here are taking so long and there are some problems that does have solution automatically without any reply from yobit.

This belongs to Exchanges.
If all is being confirmed then it would really be already a yobits issue.Contacting their support would really be pain in the ass and all experienced traders or users of this exchange do knows that. They do have the title on having the worst support ever of an exchange. All you need to do is to wait. Try to message their account on this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594 but sadly its last logged in February 28, 2018, 04:49:47 PM.
We all bet it that it's an issue for yobit's side, a trader will not complain if everything goes correct and properly. By just reading others experience by only contacting the support ticket of yobit, it's really amusing on how they are so turtle in giving response to the complains. And the gamecredits dev are even faster to reply with the problems that are being brought up to them so props to them but to yobit, I know @OP you will have a very bad day due to this.
2858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and calm yourself on: April 02, 2018, 10:39:50 AM
bitcoin will not die but surely can rise again.
For those that are keep on spreading FUD that bitcoin is about to die because of this current price fall, get your lives people. Bitcoin has been dead since there are people who are jealous with this great tech behind it and it's popularity is widely increasing. Big countries are starting to recognize it and what we have to do when we are on these days, holding and be patient so I agree with what OP's message.
People may lost their patience as they are assuming that bitcoin is a easy money
They are wrong on this belief that bitcoin is just an easy money, simply like the stocks market if you have patience - good harvest will come.
2859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: newbie want to join bounty? on: April 02, 2018, 09:46:31 AM
not all the gift of accepting a newbie that I know just a few campaigns that will accept newbe..
I rarely see those campaigns / bounties that are now accepting newbie ranks. If there will be a campaign that is accepting a newbie then that's helpful to those new comers. But I doubt it that it campaign will last since the ad space for newbie and even jr members aren't clickable and that's going to have an impact for the advertising cost of that project. Anyway they are going to pay for their tokens so it's up to them if they will accept newbies. My tip is rank up first even up to member rank.
2860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rising to $14,000 beginning April on: April 02, 2018, 09:02:35 AM
I like your optimism that it will go up to $14,000 for this month but do you have proof that this is a real signal? Come on people, when you are reading and hearing FUDs about bitcoin you are starting to become hot-headed and with these type of topics though there's a lack of analysis and statement on how did he come up with this price still he's just giving his opinion. Let's all support and hope that it will happen or just spread the love about the recovery of bitcoin soon.
