Now that CP3 is on the Warriors, I think so too that he will be in the starting line-up but that won't be long as they cannot afford to lose CP3 via injury and will just let him rest in-between or where the Warriors needed him the most.
He'll surely be in the starting line up, the Warriors won't spend millions on him on this trade if he won't be on the starting five. We'll get to see those days if it happens as he's an injury prone player.

But at least on this matter, GSW got someone who would take care of the job and will have the assist for open shots for Klay and Steph.

He's the one to take care of it.

I thought they were getting him as a backup so I’m surprised that they’re planning to have him alongside Steph and Klay. That’s a pretty small and not very athletic 3 players. Not to mention Green is undersized and aging. I’m not sure what kind of basketball they’ll be playing, but they won’t be getting very many rebounds while doing it.
2882  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TrumpCoin - Making Crypto Great Again! on: June 29, 2023, 02:43:00 AM
Last I checked, Trump never stated any plans of issuing any memecoins.
This is common in the crypto space, anything that can be copied based on its popularity, they'll take it part of the project's name. Thus with the upcoming presidential election again coming to the US, they think it will be Trump back in the office as the POTUS. We have those inu name of meme coins and etc. And at the same time, this has nothing to do with politics and society so this shouldn't be here but in the altcoin discussion.

Ya, I’m sure there are hundreds of trump coins out there. These can be fun little projects to mess around with and see what you can turn them into, but they should be marketed as such. That was what was great about dogecoin. If it had been marketed as a serious currency then I doubt anyone would have wanted to be involved since it obviously was not.
2883  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: June 29, 2023, 12:54:29 AM
It’s nice to see an example of some unique wraps that these trucks will be sporting.

Feel free to post your own examples. I really like the camo one that’s going around but no doubt there will some great ones. I like the rusted looking ones I’ve seen that give this tank the apocalyptic feel it deserves. I can’t believe there are people who thought Tesla was going to make a vaporware product. LOL. Won’t be much longer now!  Grin

Here’s another. I love how angry these pictures make stupid people so I can’t resist bringing a smile to myself so easily.

It is a shame too. The Blazers were on their way to a dynasty but Greg Oden’s injury devastated them. Brandon Roy also could have been great, not to mention they had LaMarcus Aldridge and even Zach Randolph. It was just a series of unfortunate incidents that kept Dame from getting a ring, so I think everyone is fine with him ring chasing now. Poor Portland. What could have been.

In fact, Oden had potential, but he didn't even have time to prove himself due to constant injuries. Just imagine how good the Blazers could have been if Lillard, Roy, Aldridge, and Oden had been healthy and played at the same time in their prime. They probably would have been able to win a couple of titles at the time.
As for Randolph, he was really good in the Blazers early in his career. However, I personally associate him more with a Grizzlies uniform than a Blazers uniform.

Statistically speaking if you look at Oden’s stats for the amount of time he played, he was one of the most dominant players the NBA has ever seen. He would have been a hall of famer if he could have stayed healthy in my opinion. He just didn’t have the time. Most people have no idea that bad luck kept Portland from one of the most dominant teams of all time.

In addition to the camouflage cybertruck we’ve seen driving around TeslaCarsOnly posted this image of a wrapped cybertruck in red and black. It’s nice to see an example of some unique wraps that these trucks will be sporting. It’s been called the easiest automobile to wrap ever made so I think there are going to be an endless number of unique trucks on the road.

Does the pool accept nicehash solo mining rentals?

I don’t believe that would be a good idea currently. NastyPool hasn’t been operating for some time. The splitting and takeover of the p2pool project soured my personal taste for it a bit and there’s been no development on that front that I’m aware of for some time. I actually think a majority of the tabs on nastyfans.org should be removed as they don’t display current information and confuse more people than they help.

KuCoin is going full KYC starting july 15.

Over time, all centralized exchanges will do this. The future is with DEX. KYC is incompatible with bitcoin in its concept. Privacy and anonymity, I do not intend to go through the KYC procedure on any exchanges.

Slowly but surely the SEC is threatening or shutting down exchanges and services that don’t comply with their policies. This is going to bring an end to a lot of cool projects, but it will also level the playing field for those looking to start legitimate businesses. Personally I liked Bitcoin more before the regulation when cool services were everywhere, but this seems a necessary development in order for Bitcoin to thrive.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: June 28, 2023, 04:43:25 PM
Blaming others is not usually the right attitude to have in gambling or anything else really. Sure, some things might actually be other people’s fault, but by blaming them instead of figuring out how YOU could have had a different outcome will keep you from learning and bettering yourself. Always look at what you could have changed.
2889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2023, 04:41:07 PM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.

I guess right now we can't really say what will be the adjustments that Steve Kerr is going to put here. Yes, Chris Paul is prone to injury, but I think it might be effective if Curry will not bring the ball and put it to Paul as their main point guard.

They will still be good with Looney and they they will play small, which has been the trend for now in the NBA. Although it was proven by the Nuggets that you still need big men, like Jokic to bring championship. Nevertheless, I doubt that the Warriors are going to get another big men to help Looney.

I was seeing the pictures on Twitter of people showing the Warriors’ starting five next year. I was surprised to see that the expectation is for both Chris Paul and Stephen Curry to start. I’m not sure that’ll be what happens. They’re both pretty weak defensive guards. I can’t imagine they’d both be playing lots of minutes together. Seems like a liability.

I'm glad to hear that the Suns are apparently willing to keep DeAndre Ayton now instead of trade him for next to nothing.  Pretty crazy that they almost dealt him for JaVale McGee, Tim Hardaway Jr. & Richaun Holmes.  I think Ayton is worth a lot more than that and I hope he's able to have another year like in their Finals run a couple years back.  He's definitely capable of being one of the top centers in the league, he just needs some development help.  Monty Williams did a horrible job with him and I think if the Suns focus on him they'll have their best chance at getting back into the Finals.
2891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you dare to pawn your bitcoin? on: June 27, 2023, 10:38:37 PM
With the volatility of Bitcoin I could see the desire by some to want to take advantage of pawning or loans on their BTC in order to try and have their cake and eat it too.  It's a bit of a put option on Bitcoin's price, albeit with an extreme interest rate and pool loan value.  However, if you were to pawn your coins instead of spend them during a bubble, you might find that you're able to buy them back at an attractive rate if the price goes up, or just leave them and enjoy your funds if the price goes down.  Bitcoin being extremely volatile is what makes this almost attractive to a gambler with some coins burning a hole in their pocket.
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: June 27, 2023, 10:36:11 PM
I still haven't found anyone using AI like this but I'm sure people must be doing it.  Is anyone aware of any reddit posts or other places that people may be discussing different prompts they are using to try and do this sort of gambling?  I'm very tempted to do some sort of thread documenting the success of AI in gambling decisions, but so far I haven't found a good method to do so.  Hopefully I get it figured out before the NBA season starts again.  It would be cool to start doing some fun stuff with AI when that time rolls around again.
2893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: June 27, 2023, 10:33:40 PM
Slots are rough but I've noticed that Stake has prizes for users who hit certain milestones on their games.  That's pretty cool.  Between that and rakebacks, bonuses, I can see how people get addicted to playing slots.  Especially with all the cool graphics and sounds...  Personally, I prefer sports betting, but slots are more of an instant gratification thing.  When you get a big win on a tiny amount, it starts to make sense why those old folks spend so long at the penny machines in casinos.  It does seem like slots could use some innovation and be a little more interactive and arcade like than watching an animation.
2894  Other / Meta / Re: Can Bitcointalk Adopt the Web3 System? on: June 27, 2023, 10:30:44 PM
I've been saying for some time now that it's pretty shocking nobody has developed a system for users to sign in using a signature from their public address.  It goes a little against the anonymity desires of people who use this forum, but it's not like you couldn't just use a random public address that isn't used for anything else...  If I were currently looking at developing something simple that would make a big difference in the community, I would develop a simple open source tool that could be added to websites as a login method via signed messaged from an address.  I'm sure someone could whip something up in a night if they were motivated.  Shocking it hasn't been done yet to my knowledge.
2895  Economy / Securities / Re: NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: June 27, 2023, 10:22:41 PM
I noticed that on the nastyfans website the last confirmed sale is showing as 0.00045000 BTC per seat.  I wanted to drop a reminder that in March of 2021 I stated the following...

NastyMining or myself would purchase up to 15 BTC of seats at 0.0005 BTC per seat (currently worth $833,250) if anyone was interested. That offer will put a floor under seat prices in BTC terms which is something I think people have wanted to see with this organization for a long time.

In the time since NastyMining has purchased ~2,000 seats from the public auction.  While the main goal was to give potential sellers liquidity to exit NastyFans if they so desired, the secondary goal was to "put a floor under seat prices in BTC terms" as that has been a common complaint over the years.

I am now increasing that offer to buying an unlimited number of seats at a price of 0.00055 BTC per seat.  This marks a 10% increase in the floor price for NastyFans seats and anyone who wants to take advantage of this offer needs only to list their seats on the auction at nastyfans.org and drop me a message letting me know they've been listed.
2896  Economy / Speculation / Re: The low support level may still be tested during 2023. on: June 27, 2023, 08:41:22 PM
Looking at the chart it sure seems like we're at a decision point.  The market can retest $20K or it can shoot up to $40K, but I don't think it sits where it is now for too long.  With all the ETF news being the big talk in the market, I think a move to $40K is more likely but we'll see.  The elephant in the room remains mtgox and I feel like distribution should come around the end of the year, so we'll have to see how that goes before really being able to make a good determination of where the market goes from $40K.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: June 27, 2023, 08:39:04 PM
We got another tweet from Jake Paul addressing this fight by showing he's training to go 8 rounds.  It feels like after the last disaster of a press conference they really aren't doing much to promote this fight but walk through the motions.  It seems like once this fight fails Jake will try and fight KSI to establish some interest, and there are rumors of him fighting Nate Diaz in the octagon after this boxing match, but we'll see.  I personally think this Paul/Diaz fight is going to do really terrible numbers with the PPV and will probably hurt both fighter's brands.
2898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 27, 2023, 07:49:44 PM

That is a crazy idea to think about. If this all went according to the best case scenario (as I think we have pretty much seen up until FTX) then I could see this propelling Bitcoin into the millions per BTC in 10-15 years. I think the banks are placing their bets that the Bitcoin market is going to follow gold’s footsteps after ETFs launched.
2899  Economy / Services / Re: Someone Paid Me $2,500 in April And Forgot... on: June 27, 2023, 07:45:39 PM
Someone that is not a member of this forum saw my service and hired me to write some articles since April. I charged him $4000 and asked for $3000 advance. He paid the advance of $2,500, but has since vanished. I'm putting up this post in case he forgot he gave someone $2,500. If you know someone that paid someone for a job and forgot the person, please let them know I'm the one. As in, can't imagine someone throwing away their money just like that.
I also hope he sees this post and remembers.

Edit: Some people don't believe my story. That's not atypical of Bitcointalk. Anyways, I do not care if you believe it or not. For those of you that have given me some advice, you're all appreciated. Hopefully, my client will be back. I really pray he comes back because men like him come by very rarely. As in, men who have trust in a weird harsh, near-trustless world. For those hoping for a TXID, keep hoping, but that's not gonna happen.

Update:

I've written to the company. Hopefully, if he's working with them they'll respond. Thanks all.

That is a crazy story but stranger things have happened. I’ve seen plenty of deals fall apart because someone mysteriously disappeared and I’m sure some folks in this space have more money and ideas than they can juggle, so mistakes like this could happen for a million reasons. Let’s just hope everyone is happy and this was just an oversight.
2900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2023, 07:43:12 PM
As far as I can see, if the Trailblazers don't give up, trade Dame, or provide him with some help, the Trailblazers will never win an NBA Championship. It's like it's time to make a change not just for the players but also the whole organization of Trailblazer. Jerami Grant is not the player who can help Dame win a championship. Remember what happened to Denver after he left the Nuggets. They won the championship a year later.
