It looks like FTX will be selling $200,000,000 worth of crypto every week for the next 17 weeks… This will start next week. This downward pressure on the market will likely hold prices somewhat in check until the end of the year. I’d imagine once this is behind us (and the mtgox coins are distributed) it should be the final hurdle before launch.
how much BTC do they hold? I hope this is still accurate FTX's Bitcoin Balance Plunges to Just 1https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/11/08/ftxs-bitcoin-balance-plunges-to-just-one3.4 billion dollars worth of my math is correct. My statement also assumes that Binance won’t become insolvent when a drop happens. I think that is the biggest concern for the crypto market right now. A run on BNB has the potential to take Bitcoin below $20K.

Reports from the Bay Area saying that the Warriors may actually be looking to start Chris Paul when the season kicks off. That means they could have a lineup of CP3, Steph, Klay, Wiggins, & Draymond out there. Besides never winning a tip again, I’d imagine they would be dominated on the boards by bigger teams but their 3 point shooting would be crazy. Will be interesting to see their first game.

Yeah, most likely it will be a big boost for him if he can carry team Germany. The thing with Dennis is that he has help in engaging his team mates in this FIBA tournament. I guess his experience in the NBA really help in a lot and he has so much confidence going into the finals. So we will see.
On the other hand, Serbia as well is playing good basketball, rotation and specially their defense. So this is going to be very exciting fight for the gold medal in this FIBA. And for sure those NBA players that have participated here will have a new kind of experience.
If a player has enough experience in the NBA, he is very likely to dominate tournaments like this. In fact, the outcome of tonight's game proves it. I think it's fair to say that Dennis Schroder has mediocre stats for his NBA career, but it was more than enough for him to dominate and lead his team to victory in the final game of the World Cup tournament. Dennis has his moments in NBA games. Don’t forget the monster contract he was offered (and then turned down to take way less money). He’s for sure a longtime NBA veteran and not a good example of the point you’re trying to make. Most NBA players are damn good. The gap between LeBron and the worst player in the league is smaller than most think.

lol. Just lol. Such an unexpected outcome in main event. Is this the begging of the end of Izzy era? 4 fight, 2 losses, 2 wins. Zebra record. Plus boring fights previously and lack of early finishes lately. Dont thing that we gonna get a rematch this time.
This fight was definitely a bit of a let down for Izzy fans. Adding insult to injury Strickland is out here today saying that he felt like he was fighting an amateur based on the punches that Izzy was throwing. I don’t know if this was lack of preparation, a dive for gambling profits, or if Izzy just wasn’t feeling it, but he’s got something to prove again…

Clean win for Strickland over Izzy. I don’t think many people were expecting that. Drake lost half a million dollars on the fight but I guess that probably doesn’t mean very much to him. I’m surprised the way it looked like Izzy prettt much accepted his fate and threw in the towel towards the end. It didn’t look like he left it all out there.

If the US wanted to win this tournament, it easily could. I'm not sure we will see the US place it's best players back in the Olympics ever again, or at least anytime soon.
Then I think they didn't value the tournament that much, as they didn't send their best players to dominate and win. Well, if we examine the roster of the team, the players are not the best or, let's say, at least not in the top 10 in terms of statistics. But there's no sense in sending players to a tournament if they themselves aren't sure they would win, unless they are underestimating their opponents? You can certainly make the case that NBA players don’t care about this tournament. Jimmy Butler came out and said as much. I’m sure the players on the floor want to win no matter what though. Sure, the NBA still has the greatest players in the world but the gap is closing and as seen here, without a handful of superstars the gap may be nonexistent. Some of the games top players are now not from the US. Doncic, jokic, etc but you are right most of the top players don't want to put extra mileage on themselves, their legacy lies with how many NBA titles they've won not how many international tournaments they won. If you go deep into the playoffs as well as these other tournaments you break down quicker. And then there is that chance of injury as well blowing a whole season because of some other tournament. The other thing people don’t account for is that some of these international teams play with each other quite a bit and in some cases for many years. That makes a big difference when you’re playing against a team of guys thrown together with a few weeks to try and nail down chemistry and how their offense will be run.

I saw Drake put up a half of a million dollars on Stake for tonight matchup on Izzy getting a knockout victory. The odds didn’t look good enough for me to make such a wreck less bet, but he’ll probably win. I think it’s pretty risky betting on the type of win instead of just a win, but I guess then the odds wouldn’t even be worth making the bet.

It’s definitely a good idea to remember that if something looks too good to be true then there’s a good chance it is. Especially when it comes to money making opportunities online that require you to trust someone else with your money. The best thing to look for in an online casino isn’t a great offer, but a great reputation.

If you document your predictions in a thread and do well I could see people appreciating your contributions. I would recommend listing and updating your predictions on the OP and maybe even giving your percentage of wins and which long shots you’ve hit, etc. Maybe people will even follow your predictions and leave you tips.

Friendly bets are always fun on bitcointalk but they are usually done for things that a casino couldn’t be used for. Members would also be wise to use escrow in these situations. If you’re just making a small sports bet, I would stick to using the typical online casinos that you can find in people’s signatures here as opposed to trying to find someone to bet against.

There are definitely still technical hurdles to owning Bitcoin. For this reason, most of the people I tell to buy Bitcoin I advise that they do so on Coinbase and then secure their login information. More technical friends I of course tell them to go the cold storage route but for people who aren’t familiar with crypto, this is a strange method of securing your money.

One thing that I find a little odd is how many people are claiming on social media that the Blackrock Bitcoin spot ETF is already approved and waiting to be announced. It seems like a desperate move by traders clinging to their leveraged position. The amount of people who think we’re going up is the biggest bearish indicator to me. That being said, I’m among them. The tidal wave of investment is on the horizon.

As for the long term effects of mRNA being injected into your body, we’ll have to wait and see with the next generation.
Oh, it's the next generation now? So I'm not going to die 2 years ago/now/in another 2 years/some other made up bullshit? Now it's going to be the next generation? Oh, and whatever happened to the 5G mind control nanobots in the vaccine? When are they being activated? Remember the winter of severe illness and death? Nobody I know who was unvaccinated had any issues, although I do know a few people who got the jab and had complications that involved hospitalizations. It was the vaccinated trying to scare the unvaccinated with threats of death and being outcasted from society. Not the other way around. I couldn’t care less what poison you put in your body. As for 5G mind control… I think you put the tin foil hat on wrong.

I think DCA is usually a good investment approach for any investments you want to own. Being a trader tends to work against most people and people shouldn’t look at investments as buy low and sell high opportunities as much as they should look at buying stock as owning a company. Buy good companies and own them forever. Don’t pick and choose spots to trade. That’s the investing hack.

Sad to see the United States get eliminated before even reaching the Final in the FIBA World Championships. While I don’t think these were the best players we could have sent, it seems like USA’s domination of basketball is losing its grip. They’d better send our best to win the gold at the next summer Olympic Games.

A lot of images floating around and people making jokes about the Cybertruck’s crashing testing that was seemingly performed yesterday. I posted a link below to a video where you can see the end result of this testing. It looks like the Cybertruck held up just fine and perhaps they will just crash other cars into the Cybertruck as testing in the future instead of cement walls. https://x.com/wholemarsblog/status/1699936853263270152

I don’t think this is a crazy response from China. We have done similar things to companies they operate in the past. However, this is an escalation against one of the world’s largest companies which may signal us heading towards a bit of a Cold War with China. This likely won’t end up being a good thing for anyone.
