2881  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Posibility of a free bitcoin mixer on: March 02, 2017, 05:28:24 PM
I am wondering if we can have a network, each node is a person stake a few coins, and coins can be freely change ownership inside the network.
Are we talking about bitcoins here ?  Roll Eyes
Coins any freely change ownership in a network ? What does that imply ? I can technically control your coins ?Who'd have access to the network anyway ? I get the idea of coin mixing but World is too bad to do that as a favor.

Kind of what Dash is doing. That way, if we stake bitcoin in the network for a few days, coins will become untraceable.
And what gives us the guarantee that one's controlled coins won't be lost forever in the process ?

2883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and betting?? on: February 25, 2017, 10:00:06 AM
I wanted to know which one is better for me betting or gambling on the information I'm going to provide I know both are kind of same but the reward and working is different.
No,betting depends on your in-depth knowledge about the subject you are betting on.Gambling depends on your knowledge about the subject and your money management techniques.

I started betting from 4-5 months ago I normally placed on low odds or maybe took tips. Recently betting hasn't been good for me at all. I lost a bet worth 80$ of 1.1 odd. I would have cashed out 200$ till now from the site and have invested 550$-600$ .
Clearly, you need to learn how to manage money.Take a gap for a while, try playing faucets.Stick to one site and see what works out there.

2884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ChronoBank ICO is over! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: February 25, 2017, 09:43:49 AM
I do not understand how bounty fund can influence price? Why does everyone think that participants in bounty campaign do not appreciate their work and give their tokens cheap? These are same investors who invest their time to project. And as you know, time is money.
Bounty hunters are another curse to the forum after the signature spammers. No one is asking you'll to build rockets to get your bounties, just simple posting or language translations or tweeting.
Bounty hunters just want the pleasure of selling the tokens to make bitcoins back again.Since the tokens are sold anyway, trades takes place which does affect the price of the coin.Mostly, in a negative way.
2885  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Warning][Cloudbleed bug] Change your passwords & 2FA & API keys on: February 25, 2017, 09:34:34 AM
Yeah well, I've tried using one before but decided against continuing its use after some time. It's just an additional worry.
How does that contribute to any discussions here ? Off-Topic Much ?

Frankly, couldn't stop worrying that the password manager I use would be the weak point, and then ALL of my accounts woulda been compromised.
We're suppose to be talking about services using Cloudflare and not password managers..

Almost every site uses CloudFlare nowadays. AND that bug has been there for months.  Roll Eyes
Not every site. The sites which are prone to DDos do.Finally people can stop using that crap.

I wonder when bitcointalk would use 2fa. It would be great if they decide to implement it soon..
Not anytime soon.Neither is a feature request on the new forum.
2886  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help on python BOT to resolve PrimeDice Captcha on: February 25, 2017, 09:25:43 AM

2887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have found a wallet with 40 BTC on: February 25, 2017, 09:14:06 AM
Fake.
This dude either is an idiot or just don't know about bitcoins.Without the proof of address or the transactions, whatever he says is simply bullshit.Nice trolling attempt, buddy.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Betting Discussion & Predicitons on: February 25, 2017, 08:57:56 AM
Damn, directbet is offering some craziest odds for the Grammy's! However everything is in the favor of La-La-Land.Makes it seem like a very obvious win and has the least odds.Anyone has any other suggestions ?
2889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do winning and losing gamblers have different personalities or habits? on: February 25, 2017, 08:42:14 AM
Yeah losers and winners don't have a specific difference before they become so while after loosing and winning the habits are totally different of both of gamblers. Where a looser will look for destruction the winner will look for calmness and construction.
That is philosophy, exactly opposite to  what the thread title represents.IMHO,nothing else counts by playing your cards right.Luck is just an obsession,an excuse.

There is a basic theory that says "Winners There are losers and there are people who have not yet learned how to win" What this means in core is that we all are winners if we take our loss politely and search for next win.
Again, very philosophical..Odds are only in the favor of the risk taker, rest all is just a myth.
2890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice EdgeBack/Rakeback discussion on: February 25, 2017, 08:17:04 AM
Why not just extend this cash back to other gambling games and sites as well ?
I guess there should be a green signal from the gambling sites too ?

So to be sure if its : 21% back from House Edge , and the house edge is 1%, then it essentially brings it down to 0.79%, correct?
Couldn't understand the maths there.Did you consider the wagering % as well ? How did you come down to 0.79 figure ?
2891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain spam on: February 25, 2017, 08:08:52 AM
I wonder when the asking of right questions start. questions such as how to fight these types of spam, not just this new method of big transactions spending multiple inputs but also the older ways of spamming regular looking transactions every 2 seconds transactions that spend 1 input and have 1 or 2 outputs.
Probably by adding a few restrictions on what people can do with the chain.Limiting their access to the network or verifying the outputs before the transactions are broadcasted. But that would take the 'open-ness' out of the bitcoin source and people would call it a more centralized thing.
2892  Economy / Services / Re: Physics/Calculus Homework Service on: February 24, 2017, 08:05:02 PM
lol are you offering a homework service or running an unofficial homework business ? Damn with all those terms and conditions,I'm sure people would avoid dealing with you.No offense.I actually lol'd at the part where you said you want to 'enhance the further reading'.Mate, people don't give a rats ass of all that, since I have done similar jobs before, you will be give a document, you're suppose to solve and submit it.No further questions asked.
2893  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan request , 1.3 BTC on: February 24, 2017, 07:56:08 PM
OP,it's not safe for you to send your laptop overseas. You will end up delivering goods and never get them back.As suggested by everyone, use a local dealer, take cash from him and you can buy bitcoins with that cash using LBC or other 200 ways through online exchanges.I hope your  Razer Blade isn't a China Copy since you desperately wanna get rid off it.
2894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sidechains or Child Chains? on: February 24, 2017, 07:48:31 PM
Thanks for introducing me to the term 'Child Chains'.Who came up with this shit ?Let's just stick to the sidechains like the old school times ?
I don't know what this new fancy term means but sidechains are the apps forked from the main-chain running isolated (If I did frame that correctly). To help you with an example further,Lisk runs it's main-chain which can be used as a side chain for the apps developed using their framework.Doesn't mean the transactions won't be isolated from the main chain.
2895  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Introducing Cancoin Marketplace. Now in beta in Canada. on: February 24, 2017, 07:39:03 PM
Cancoin is similar to localbitcoins in that it's peer to peer however we believe Cancoins' security is more robust and able to handle trust for larger amounts of btc.  Cancoin aims to provide a higher level of functionality and individual security than any other bitcoin exchange in the world.
Frankly speaking,I expected a technical specification on how exactly canacoin is different from all the other exchanges when it comes to security.LocalBitcoins probably tops the list because their escrow services are Great. No vulnerabilities at the client side since most of the processing is done at the escrow only.Escrow holds the trade payment unless the user decides to release. The buyer always can raise disputes if the escrow isn't released after the payments. Most importantly, their support.
2896  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crowdfunding insurance - Bitcoin makes refunds possible! on: February 24, 2017, 07:23:52 PM
Can refunds using Bitcoin escrows solve the lemon problem in the crowdfunding space? That's the question I really would like to have answered with the help of the communities input. I really would like to hear your thoughts so that I can make active improvements to the paper I am writing.
As much I want to help you with the right comments,I couldn't seem to understand/correlate bitcoin scenario with the given example.I got a clear idea of what a lemon problem is but don't know how bitcoins can fit into the same paradigm.I've watched the video like 3 times with no success of linking bitcoins together.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice EdgeBack/Rakeback discussion on: February 24, 2017, 07:08:14 PM
Just saw someone else thinking of starting something like this and bam,it's already here!
How do you make money out of this ? Apart from advertisements ?Who sets the house edge percentages ? I just tried out the amount I get back after wagering 1000 btc on Crypto-Games,2.10 ..not bad..You should also consider the low ballers who can't afford to put more than 0.02 on daily basis.
2898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 24, 2017, 06:59:32 PM
In that places yes the gamblers are rich people because they are already rich people having their businesses and they gamble for fun and do not rely on gambling for their profit so they do not feel shameful because they are already living a successful lives.
At the end of the day,its their life what matters the most.Society doesn't need to convince you of who you are.If you feel you're happy and satisfied with the life you're living on the cost of yourself, you should not care what others think of you.It doesn't make you wise in any ways.If you start taking them seriously and you think they're right, you must re-think your choices in life.
2899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you subscribe to another site for additional bonuses? on: February 24, 2017, 06:41:26 PM
I'm thinking about oppening a website, a web directory about gambling sites.
Not again man. That niche is already saturated.Plus people barely rely on those directory sites for any information.Basically, bitcointalk has everything.

Sure there are already a lot of gambling web directory! But here the idea would be that if you subscribe and play from our website and thus become one of our affiliate, you would have access to special additional bonuses! Deposit bonuses on websites, special promotions, unique giveaways etc...
Yeah but would gambling websites agree to that ? You're basically an affiliate to the affiliates. You sure you will be making good money ?

Would you be interested and would you try new sites available on this gambling directory if there was special unique bonuses?
If no strings attached.
2900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC overtake gold this month ? on: February 24, 2017, 06:30:52 PM
Gold is not stuck or staying in the same price yearly you can see the price is increasing but a very small interest yearly..
Yeah and so it does qualify for one of the safest investments.People don't need to take their chances before investing money in Gold for two reasons.
 ->Physical Asset
 ->Limited Resources

Unlike bitcoin that you can seen daily the price is changing and the price will nearly $1200 and hope that the price can be increase more soon..
Yes and so it does have risks. You don't know what's coming tomorrow. It can make your rich or go broke in the fraction of hours.
