1981  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Trouble accessing wallet on Blockchain.info on: December 08, 2017, 08:40:42 PM
I made a wallet about 4 years ago on Blockchain.info, and I believe there is a very small balance in there.
However, I do not have all the info needed to log in.

I have the password, the seed, the alias, and some file ending in ".aes.json" that I don't know what it was for...
I just don't know the wallet ID. They won't allow alias logins anymore, and unfortunately it looks like that was all I hung onto at the time since I thought it would be easier to use/remember.

I did their "Forgot your ID" thing where I enter my email and they supposedly send it to me -- but there's only one problem: I'm not getting any emails from them.
I've created support tickets as well, and still no response.

What can I do?
The thing you're looking for is a wallet identifier,if you remember the email you used to sign up very first time, check the emails from blockchain.info ,they should have sent you your unique identifier there. If you remember the password, you can sign up using these details.
Alternative : If you have downloaded the PDF file back-up of your wallet which would ideally have your private keys, you can import it in some other wallet and access your coins.
1982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why coin price dump? on: December 08, 2017, 08:31:56 PM
Last few days in my mind why coin price dump?I donot understand how we know this coin price pump or dump.So looking to senior trader give me some information and share site (if have).thanks
1.You are too novice to start trading.Stop  taking the losses and work on your basics.

2.The price pump or dump is unpredictable, you will learn that with experience. For now, keep trading with small volumes however you can and learn from the mistakes.

3.There are no sites that would teach you how to control your money but your experience.Keep reading about the price charts thought.

4.Don't take advises from traders as the techniques that worked out for them won't necessarily work out for you.
1983  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain - Account emptied overnight? on: December 08, 2017, 08:18:44 PM
You should install a good antivirus that scan your computer at daily basis, like MalwareBytes Premium, its the best thing to have on every computer.
And Genius what about the people who don't use Windows/Mac and completely rely on Debain based Systems like CentOs/Ubuntu ? [Yes We Do Exist!]

Anti-Virus isn't the accepted solution for n number of ransomwares/e-whoring/other cyber attacks where the details are shared by the victim themselves.Like in OP's case,he had his teamviewer on the whole time, something an antivirus can't prevent.
1984  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open Source BTC Wallet based on P2P on: December 08, 2017, 08:10:02 PM
Terrible idea. What if I don't use a computer and rely completely on my Mobile phone for my transactions ? I don't get the benefits of "free transactions" then right ?
I don't know how good are your bitcoin basics but hey there is something called as "miners" who are officially responsible for accepting transactions.Even if you do the computation at your end,you still gotta pay some fees to the higher level miners who would be responsible for your actual transaction.

Wallets should be separated from the entire "CPU Power" thingy and must do what it intends to.Best case scenario : Wallet should check the network congestion periodically and force to pay the minimum of x fees while sending a transaction.
1985  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best Bitcoin casino sites that also accept altcoins? on: December 08, 2017, 07:52:19 PM
There are not much to choose from but as a novice gambler, what are the best Bitcoin gambling sites that also accept altcoins and what altcoins are accepted?

This information might be valuable in times when the Bitcoin mempool flooded and when one confirmation can take hours.
Undoubtedly crypto-games.net
Not only it is the only website that accepts a number of alt-coins but they are one of the first few casinos which started accepting alt-coins~ Click on my signature to know more Wink

This information might be valuable in times when the Bitcoin mempool flooded and when one confirmation can take hours.
They won't take "hours" for confirmation if sent with the right fees but regardless,if you feel like you should have the freedom to use your beloved coin on a casino, you know where to find us!
1986  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 3 Months Scammed by POLONIEX on: December 08, 2017, 07:31:34 PM
Fucking scam exchanger
I feel sorry for you but there is literally nothing anyone can do unless you can take a step forward, run to the Washington Department of Cyber Law and file  a case against them with all the legal ways possible. Moreover,if you're from one of the countries they don't accept the deposits from, you will be left there to hang dry.

Lesson Learnt : Do Not Store Coins On Exchanges.
1987  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain - Account emptied overnight? on: December 08, 2017, 04:58:09 PM
That's strange !

First things first,
 - Have you tried to get in touch with the support  ?
 - Can you link us to the transaction that was sent unknowingly from your wallet ?
 - Do you have anymore coins on other online wallets ? Move them ASAP

And the culprit could be ,

Who was accessing the team viewer ? Did you cross check with them ?
1988  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: December 08, 2017, 04:53:17 PM
I cant access the website. Is anything happen to this project? Any other website that can calculate like this?
There were,now there aren't any!
However, you can always refer to the post/activity  algorithm written in the Meta section or from the github of this project.Depends how far you can go for the details  Embarrassed

As usual,Achow has to restart the Db or clear the cache before it starts working again.Be patient until then.
1989  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AERON SCAM All the Bounty Participants and sold bounty reward at an exchange on: December 08, 2017, 04:45:35 PM
There are too many SCAM ICOs /Bounty program. They just use bounties and signature campaign to get free advertisements and cheat members.Always join in any bounty program that is atleast run by a trusted member here
It is not their fault entirely if you look at it.
From what I have noticed ,as soon a new bounty thread is opened,we  number of post looking for bounties without even taking a look at the main thread or seeing if the ICO sounds legit. Some even start making videos, blog articles to get free tokens. If the project is a scam, they would have to figure that out before putting any efforts.

However, the above case is different. You cannot trust managers blindly.
1990  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bets are being taken on which next major retailer will accept BTC by end of 2018 on: December 08, 2017, 04:32:55 PM
I believe, that's so difficult to happen, because of fee cost. Ok BTC is so volatile, but the fee infeasible for  merchant. But anything can change if the fee  will changed.
Correct. It is impossible to happen given bitcoin isn't regulated and the big names certainly don't want to risk it all  with the money laundering policies.

On topic, the bet is stupid and there will be no winner since the probability of any of those names accepting bitcoin is zero.I would be slightly inclined towards 'Mz' had it been in the list.Steem already stopped accepting bitcoins, take that into consideration as well.
1991  Economy / Gambling / Re: How many of these sites are legal? on: December 08, 2017, 04:29:21 PM
I bet most of them are in a loophole. They are based on some tax haven and they have all the correct papers to establish a business there but to operate in certain countries you must have a legal license.

In my country, fiat casinos not having a license are blocked but I can access all the crypto ones and that’s just because there is a loophole.

Agree with you. However it is not their fault entirely, bitcoin itself is under a big loophole when it comes to regulations. It's hard to make a law against the services that use the parent entity.

You know, have the correct licenses, etc.  Just curious.
Most of the gambling sites go register themselves with some 3rd world countries where the government isn't aware or doesn't have any laws with cyber crimes. The legit sites have warnings such as "American Players Are Not Allowed".
1992  Economy / Services / Re: Start your own bitcoin gambling site! on: December 08, 2017, 04:25:20 PM
If you're interested in running a dice, minesweeper, wheel or blackjack sites. Do let us know. I can give you the best prices for it. All scripts are 100% secure and without any backdoors. Send me a PM.
On the side note :: In the history of bitcoin gambling scenario, the purchased script casinos never made it,that is never had a chance to come close to the casino's who have their own development teams and some sassy scripts.Nothing against you but if one is planning to run the business on a larger scale, they will need to hire a bunch of developers to make it a success.
1993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has seen the currency gain nearly $3,000 in a day - Is this healthy? on: December 07, 2017, 08:18:59 PM
What a crazy week!

Bitcoin has seen the currency gain nearly $3,000 in a day, and $6,000 in a week.
On Coinbase, it was trading at $19,000 at one stage today.
South Korea, as usual, saw the highest prices, at over $19,000 on Bithumb.

https://coinblip.com/blog/another-historic-day-in-the-life-of-bitcoin/

Is this healthy for Bitcoin in the long run?
No,it is not healthy for bitcoin in the long run or any given day.
Think of it as this : Government can see all the money going into a digital asset which is not taxed, not regulated and has a room for all the money laundering services you can think of.This is bad for government controlled economy.More than anything else,I'm only paranoid because the insane rates are turning governments crazy and they certainly will take an action!
1994  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: 2 txs from Blockchain.info stuck for weeks due to low fee on: December 07, 2017, 07:28:05 PM
Hi guys, I just wanted to transfer BTC to my paper wallet public address 1MnUs1sMifBaAFaCqu6qN2tsWuxWFrBJ5m but I just waited and waited, then started to check the status on Blocktrail so that they are not rebroadcast and maybe get forgotten by the mempool, finally I tried to accelerate using Antpool and Confirmtx but no change. Feel helpless now.

Can anybody advise what to do?

According to your both transaction you send your fee is really too small 1.183 sat/B i don't think it can be work in antpool you should need to hire someone that owns miner  if ever the accelerator didn't work. Next time always use the default fee from https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
To prevent having problem the same as this.. I'll try to submit your transaction again in antpool in other accelarator and hope it can confirm in few hours..

Edit: Accelerated done hope sooner or later your transaction could be confirm..

Still not confirmed:( I have found pushtx.btc.com but they require around 60,- USD to accelerate a tx. I would be OK to pay that in case it does work. Would you recommend that or is it a scam? If a scam, what next?
Please don't put any money on such sites which promise accelerating the transactions but fail to do so.Recently, someone fell victim to the same scam where the refunds were not processed by the site neither the transaction was confirmed.I would advise you to wait for a day more and see if the transaction gets dropped out of the mempool,it should have !
Otherwise, check the free services in the service board of the forum where they offer free acceleration methods.
Always remember, don't pay for tx accelerations and check the network fees before broadcasting a transaction.
1995  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Broadcast your resume & get a job on a crypto venture on: December 07, 2017, 07:20:46 PM
As the market is getting bigger a catalogue of resume could be usefull for recruitment.

Anybody with interest in the field would be welcome : Dev, HR, Accountant, Marketing, CM, etc.

Share yours, tell me what you think about it.
I can see how the crypto industry is getting so commercialised that we have agents to hire crypto programmers who once kept anonymity as their biggest factors while working on any project.I can understand the paradigm shift but trusting random strangers on the internet with private information is a big no when that individual is not even linked to any industry.
1996  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Brain - Trading Tool & Platform [In Development] on: December 07, 2017, 07:17:20 PM
Interesting Project !
Why don't you make it open sourced for the community to customise it according to your needs ? I know you have to take care of the revenue model but you can keep a separate premium version for that.Myself being a programmer,if you open source the project you will get good contributions in terms of the look and feel making your project more user-friendly.

Not everybody is a fan of excel spreed-sheets.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: December 02, 2017, 11:57:09 AM
To my mind, the greatest fear of any Bitcoin holder is to be hacked. Another stuff that scares all of these guys is the possibility to make a mistake and sell Bitcoin, when the next day it will rise to the Moon.
All the replies mostly are about losing bitcoins or getting their wallets hacked.Makes me sad.Have you ever thought about this ?

- What if government bans the use of bitcoins ?
- What if the github repo of the bitcoin source code gets deleted ?
-  What if government arrests the core developers and freezes the bitcoin project ?
Have you ever thought about this ? NO you selfish fucks only think about your wallets.
1998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: December 02, 2017, 11:53:50 AM
You have said it all bro! It is just pure luck and I wonder what people always think when they feel they could just draw up a strategy to always make them win in gambling. The best form of mathematics that would have helped in gambling is probability, since gambling anyway, is a game of chance.
What the fuck are you talking about ? The discussion is about math being used to beat the gambling odds, don't know where have you dragged 'luck' into this.In the world of numbers, you brought a an uninvited guest to the table.

After all, the thing is, even with the probability, the answer you get is either this or not, and you may not even be lucky enough even when your chances of winning were still high.

Maths is what probability is calculation is,If one can successfully do it,they bring 'luck' with them according to you?
1999  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What kind of technology is used to build new economy? Two main exchanges down? on: December 02, 2017, 11:48:04 AM
Do you have an opinion?

What kind of technology do they use to build the new economy? Two main exchanges are down? High volumes? Do they have one Linux server?

Mind elaborating a bit ?

 - What technologies are you talking about ?
 - Is it a rhetorical question ?
 - What exchanges are you talking about ? Names ?

Don't make it seem like you're answering a question in your economy exam.
2000  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Distributed Ledger Technologies forum on: December 02, 2017, 11:44:11 AM
Nice initiative ! Joined already ! Smiley
Hopefully the forum will have enough resources for the newbies who wish to start their programming journey into the complicated crypto world.!
The forum looks very very basic at the moment.I hope you have a group for set of developers who can work on developing the look and feel of the forum as well.
