I'm afraid it wasn't a good performance by Milan not only in offense but also in defense. They just couldn't hold off Udinese attackers good enough and Udinese had a really solid day at the same time. They were very successful at benefiting from their shots on target. Milan could have answered in the same way at least. But I don't see the same productivity in scoring goals recently.

This inconsistent season can cost them their Champions League ticket as well if they don't pull themselves together in the league.

Dortmund were really incredible against Koln today. That huge victory by 6-1 really tells us something about this season.

They really want this title race until the end of the season. It isn't a thing that we are very familiar with honestly. Because their priority has always been investing into young and skilled players and making a lot of money in their transfers. The league title hasn't been their main target. But now they are seriously going for it. But their job is still really difficult against Bayern Munich. Plus they have a game against each other in Allianz Arena which is very important.

Manchester United's job is easier now after Arsenal have been eliminated in the Europa League. But by saying easier I don't mean they will be very comfortable. There are still challenging teams in the tournament now. Besides if they get past Sevilla their opponent will be one of Sporting and Juventus. I assume it would be Juventus if they play carefully against Sporting.

Manchester United should be able to eliminate this Sevilla as well. Sevilla are far away from even their performance in the previous season.

Chelsea couldn't beat Everton home and added another disappointment to their collection. They should have been able to play better in defense. Even though they got ahead two times they still couldn't prevent a 2-2 draw at the end. Even Everton which are a team in trouble can make difficulties for Chelsea. This is a really bad thing for Chelsea.

I know Chelsea are aimless now but they can at least finish the season at a better position. Because they are at the 10th position which reminds me of a horrible season they got many years ago.

Milan's winning odd is quite high against Udinese. Maybe the reason is that Giroud is suspended and Messias is injured as well.

These are players making a really good impact on the team with their performance but I'm not sure about the consistency on one hand. This is still a game that Milan can win actually but they need to be very careful. Udinese aren't a weak team in the league now. They shouldn't underestimate Udinese if they want to prevent a point loss. As the fight for top 4 is quite hard Milan need to do their best to win this game.

Now there is a fight between Real Sociedad and Betis for the fourth position in the standings. It was between Atletico Madrid and Betis before. But despite having a huge advantage Real Sociedad somehow let Atletico Madrid catch up with them too much in the standings. Now they are trying to keep the fourth position at least. This is the last spot for joining the Champions League in the end.

This is like a second chance for Betis to make it to the Champions League. They just need to be more consistent than Real Sociedad to make it.

It was a really tough game for Newcastle as they scored the winning goal in literally like the final moments of the game.

Winning this game is really important for Newcastle as they can drop the gap with Tottenham even more depending on the results. Newcastle have had a great season so far and they still have a chance for top 4 as well. Their biggest opponent about this goal is Tottenham now obviously. If Tottenham lose their place to them despite being a stronger team then it would be really surprising.

Atalanta had a huge level of dominance against Empoli honestly. They were really horrible at shots on goal despite winning the game anyway. I wonder what the reason behind this poor performance at finding the target. Only 6 of 27 shots were on target I mean. This isn't a good statistics at all. They had a huge domination by 70% ball possession though.

Even though they won by 2-1 this performance showed that they still need to improve their game more. Playing efficient is always the most important thing for winning games more comfortably.

Dele Alli seemed to be a promising player in the past but now he is far away from that level I'm afraid. Even Besiktas don't think of extending his loan deal and Everton are also looking for ending his contract. I don't know what he will do by the end of this season. He could have really been much better than this. His career became upside down so easily unfortunately.

He should have used his chances at Tottenham as effective as possible too. If he was able to shine there then he wouldn't have been in this situation now. He would have continued to play for a big European team.

Dortmund are going to play a home game against Koln this time. This is a really comfortable game for them on paper actually. Koln are a team that have been out-of-form for many weeks in the league. They don't have the strength to resist this Dortmund honestly. Dortmund are a team that is really hard to stop these days. I know Schalke did this but it was still not a loss in the end.

Dortmund would like to make up for the draw they got against Schalke as well. They are in a title race with Bayern Munich now so they need to be as consistent as possible. I think Dortmund will be victorious in this game.

It looks like one of the Italian teams will be in the finale for certain. Benfica's job won't be easy at all against Inter in my opinion. But this matchup will still be very competitive for sure. Both of these teams are really strong and I see them nearly equal to each other in performance. But I still see Inter one step ahead of Benfica here. It is because of Inter's playing style actually.

I think they have the strength to stop Benfica now. They can do a really good job at keeping Benfica away from scoring goals easily just as they did it to Porto newly.

Inter - Juventus will be one of the games worth watching hopefully. Inter are favoured by bookmakers of course and I also believe in them to win the game.

But I can't overlook Juventus' recent form at the same time. They have won so many games recently which helped them drop the gap with Atalanta to even four points. However on this week this gap might get bigger. Because Juventus don't seem good in big games these days. For example they lost to Roma away recently and this will be another big away game. I think Inter will also win by one goal.

Lyon - Nantes is going to be the opening game of the week. Lyon are of course highly favoured for the victory here. Lopes seems to be injured by the way but still it shouldn't affect Lyon very seriously in this game. Because they are still in a much better condition than Nantes in the league now. There is a big point gap and Nantes have been terrible for four weeks. They got three losses I mean.

In this situation Lyon should be ahead of them psychologically. Nantes can have bigger problems on focusing on the game which should help Lyon win comfortably.

Bellingham are being monitored by even more teams in time. This time I have heard about an interest by Manchester United.

However I don't think the Red Devils have too much chance to sign him honestly. Because there is already Real Madrid on the line and they are very close to their target already now actually. Because Bellingham has also been really eager to join Real Madrid. He is turning down Liverpool's interest as well by doing that. Manchester United are in much better situation in the Premier League maybe but they wouldn't stand a chance against Real Madrid.

Arsenal don't have a tough game ahead in the league. Their next opponent is Crystal Palace and it is a home game as well. Arsenal have been on a really good form for so many weeks and they are getting close to the league title day by day. The gap of five points against Manchester City is a huge advantage for them on this road. They just need to take advantage of this situation until the end of the season.

This isn't one of the games that they can lose points in. Crystal Palace are out-of-form these days as they haven't won a game for many weeks. They can't be any threat here.

Atletico Madrid might have a chance to catch up with Real Madrid even more this week. Because I believe Real Madrid are likely to lose the El Clasico as I said before.

Atletico Madrid have a home game against Valencia meanwhile. I don't expect this game to be very challenging for them. Because they are already on an amazing unbeaten streak now and they are winning so many games recently. This should be a huge motivation for them to keep this going. Valencia aren't one of the teams that can make big difficulties for them.

I'm quite excited about the draw tomorrow. Real Madrid are still my secret favourite for the Champions League title honestly. Because they are already a very dominant team in this tournament and nothing has changed by this season as well. They should be seen as the biggest threat for any of the teams that have made it to the quarter final round.

Real Madrid are like a nightmare for Manchester City considering their last matchup here. If they get another draw against each other again then I will be very curious about it.

Who could have thought that Arsenal would struggle against Sporting in the second leg? It has been a pretty interesting game so far.

I mean Arsenal couldn't capture the control of the game in any half. The second half was even worse for Arsenal actually. They just wanted to secure a 1-0 win I assume but things didn't went the way they wanted. This is just making the players quite tired before the Premier League games. I hope Arsenal can still manage to eliminate Sporting by extra time or penalties. Otherwise this will all be for nothing.

The competition for ending in top four is quite lovely these days. Maybe the championship race has ended very early in the season but it hasn't when it comes to qualifying for the Champions League. In addition to Napoli there are four teams in competition with each other for finishing the season in top four. Inter, Lazio, Milan and Roma are in this fight and I see it like this.

Inter would finish the season at the second position. One of the other trio would lose their Champions League ticket and that might be Milan. Because they aren't playing like in the previous season and this can really lead them to the Europa League instead.

Juventus still need to be careful as their matchup isn't over yet technically. Maybe they dominated the whole game against Freiburg which they literally did in Turin. But the final score was still 1-0. This motivates Freiburg to fight for a comeback in Germany. Even a lead by one goal would be help for them to extend this matchup more. They can try to wear out Juventus in this way at least.

But I still think it will be very difficult. Maybe Juventus wouldn't play the same here but I still don't expect them to give up on the dominance fully. Maybe we would see a draw in regular time which leads to Juventus' advancing.
