Honestly the Bundesliga is a way more quality league than the Ligue 1. Technically Bayern Munich and PSG have both been dominating these leagues for a long time. Atletico Madrid have been experiencing the same scenario for two seasons. They don't play very good until mid-season and after that they start to collect themselves. They start winning so many games which goes on until the end of the season. But this is still not enough for getting in a title competition.
Do you think the same thing will be happening this season as well? Honestly I think so. Because they are going to use completely the same system as Simeone is staying for another season. There isn't a substantial change in the squad either but the squad is actually quality enough to fight for the title. As it is Ancelotti's last season at Real Madrid it is the same for Xavi as well for now. Barcelona board still might not be very convinced to extend Xavi's contract yet. But I understand that of course. Yeah maybe they won the La Liga title previously and put an end to the longing for the title for 3 seasons.

I don't see much impressive player being linked with Chelsea recently. I see only really young players being linked and it doesn't look like Chelsea have an aim to change the starting lineup much with new transfers for now. Actually Laporte and Dybala have also been rumoured players to join Chelsea.
But as I can see Dybala transfer is not happening as he wants to stay at Roma. Laporte still has 2 more years on his contract. However he couldn't play much in the previous season. We watched him in the Premier League in only 12 games. His market value is also only 25 million euros. Chelsea might be likely to sign him by not spending too much money I think if they push for him.

They have been interested in Kyle Walker for right-back position for a while and they are waiting on the player's decision. He still has one more year left on his contract but we will see. @Velvet78 PSG won’t win the champions league unless they have a united squad and due to Mbappe’s recent statements the squad is already divided hence they need to sell him and unite the player’s. Furthermore Enrique will need at least two - three transfer windows to build a squad that can implement his plans and thus I hope that PSG owner’s give him time otherwise the head coach position for PSG will open up very soon.
We never know as things are starting to change with Enrique's arrival. He has a different mentality than PSG have had so far. However I believe they still need one more transfer to the attacking line. A centre-forward transfer would happen most probably. After deciding upon a striker and signing him successfully I think they should be good to go. The only ambiguous point here is whether the new mentality will work well for PSG. They have always used a mentality of fast football so far. I don't expect Enrique to maintain this understanding of play completely. That team seems like PSG now. However I don't feel like PSG would pay that much to sign Felix. At least he wouldn't be their first choice if they want to pay that much in my opinion. Mehdi Taremi could really be a good option for Milan to think about. His previous season performance at Porto was really impressive. He scored 31 goals in 51 games in total. He is also making an extra contribution with assists - 14 assists in the previous season. These are very impressive stats for a 30-year-old striker. Taremi's market value is only 18 million euros now but I don't expect Porto to sell him below his release clause worth. It is 60 million euros. I don't think Milan or any other European team would like to pay that much for him. Especially while he is going to be having his last year on his contract next season. |

Liverpool still have no striker signing on their agenda currently. However Firmino's absence must push them to look for a replacement. They can't move on to the next season with only one striker in the end. Nunez's possible injury can cause us to see Gakpo as a centre-forward again. This wouldn't be much ideal for Liverpool at all.
If they don't want to spend so much money on a striker than they can look for a loan option or a favorable low-cost striker as a subtitute of Nunez. Nunez will also need to make some good improvement this season to prove his skills to Liverpool as well.

For example Neymar came from Santos and Vinicius Junior came from Flamengo to the La Liga and made us watch great football. Therefore Brazil is like the second home of these teams and I don't see any other team being able to compete with them about signing such players there.

I wonder if Tottenham have a Plan B in case of Kane's departure this summer. Because Bayern Munich still seem determined to sign him. Some rumours say that Tottenham might go for Lukaku but I don't feel like the player would accept any offer from them. He is favouring Inter much more than any team interested these days.
But Tottenham still should be able to find a decent striker to fill Kane's place. They don't need to sign a world star like him as well. Because even though they have one now they still can't win any title. Luis Enrique's track record as an experienced coach is certainly extraordinary and I personally respect him a lot. When training Barcelona it was 8 years ago and of course now the era has changed, every football development cannot be predicted easily, especially for the champions league, of course every season the winner is always different. Therefore I will be quite happy if Luis Enrique helps PSG win the Ligue 1 title first before targeting titles in other competitions. However, if Luis Enrique manages to turn this team into one to be feared from next season, I think they have a chance to win the champions league even though the possibility is very slim.
Especially due to his big success in the Champions League with Barcelona in the past, I hope he can do the same with PSG as well. He will have a quite strong squad in his hands and have a world star player like Mbappe as well. Mbappe could still leave the team this summer though but let's say he didn't leave for now. Back then Enrique worked with Messi and now he is lucky to work with another world star. Mbappe can continue to do this best with a high level contribution to bring success to the team.
