Bayern aren’t as strong as they have been in past seasons, I still make them favourites but it wouldn’t surprise me if Lazio won or drew tonight.

Well they are not but compared to Lazio, I'd say they are still far superior so this would be a total upset if Lazio ended up getting a draw tonight but 1st half potentially could be a draw though. I got my parlay slip on both of these favourites to win so yeah Im expecting them to win and also over 4 goals would be great to get a point on BSFL as well

Bayern are struggling at the moment, another loss tonight, Tuchel is in trouble. I just had a feeling they’d flop tonight. I staked some on Lazio to win in this pool.

Having said that, I think Bayern will do enough at home in the 2nd leg to get to the 1/4 final.

Speaking about sell ladders, I don’t think it’s important to really devise a strict sell strategy but you should probably have some kind of plan ahead of the upcoming peak bull run.

I sold nothing in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and really regretted it in 2018 and 2019 as we endured a harsh bear market. I told myself I’d never be so unprepared again so I set up a plan to sell some in the next bull. To be honest, I deviated away from the sell plan I devised as we didn’t go as high as I expected in 2020 and 2021. I still did particularly well though and took out significant fiat. I was able to buy back a good % of what I sold during the recent bear market.

It’s all about experiences, earning your stripes. I don’t think you can fully know what you’re doing with any great conviction until you’ve been through two full, four year cycles. I am currently planning and devising a strategy for selling some more in, I expect 2025. I think it’s maybe a good idea to set yourself a fiat value in sales and then try to hit that, rather than a certain amount of bitcoin you sell. How much fiat do you need to satisfy your needs for the next four years (from end of 2025) until we get ready to do it all again.

The halving is nearing and we are already over 50k, I think maybe even the most battle hardened, OG HODLERS of all, could be surprised by the sheer violent parabolic upwards surge we could see next year. The demand and pure scarcity of coins available due to these spot etfs eating the supply could melt faces.

As always, the Wall Observer will be a fun place to see the wild emotions of fellow bitcoin bros.

Lazio vs Bayern and PSG vs Sociedad kick off soon. You would expect PSG to win comfortably but I think the other game will be a lot closer.

Bayern aren’t as strong as they have been in past seasons, I still make them favourites but it wouldn’t surprise me if Lazio won or drew tonight.

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea tonight, I’m thinking this could be a close game. The home fans at Palace are known to create a really good atmosphere. Chelsea could find it tough on a night kick off at their place.

Let’s see what happens, I definitely think there will be goals in this one.

Do you have any info on Salah's return date? He is still injured and this is a quite big problem for Liverpool while fighting for the Premier League championship.  Sad

Aside from that in fact it has come out of Liverpool's hand as of now. They shouldn't have lost to Arsenal. Now in case Manchester City beat Brentford in their only game missing they are taking the lead from Liverpool. I guess Manchester City wouldn't lose points in this kind of a critical game.

There is a Liverpool - Manchester City game at Anfield in a month though. I completely forgot about that one.  Shocked  Liverpool must win that game if they want to become champions. No other option is acceptable.

Salah should be back in training next week -

"Mo is going in the right direction. We hope - but we don't know - that he can be a part of training next week. If you ask him, it's next week," said the German in his pre-match press conference ahead of Burnley's visit to Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

"He's going through his paces now, but it's positive. It will be next week or the week after. If you ask him, it will be next week!"

https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11661/13067538/mohamed-salah-liverpool-forward-may-return-to-training-next-week-after-hamstring-injury-says-jurgen-klopp

The title is actually in both Liverpool & City’s hands strangely. If Liverpool match City’s results and beat them at Anfield then it will be Liverpool as champions, providing Arsenal don’t go on a crazy run. Obviously Man City have it in their hands too, as they could beat Liverpool at Anfield. We could even see a scenario where goal difference decides who wins the title. Also Arsenal are far from out of it too. They take on West Ham today which will not he easy.

We’re building a really strong base for the bull run. We're likely to reach the halving at a price over $45,000 which is incredible really. I think a top of 4 x from the halving price definitely achievable.

The price on May 11th 2020 at the last halving was around $9,000. We hit over 7 x that price at the ATH of $69,000. With so much more capital now unlocked with the spot ETFs we could even outdo that.

Absolutely though, I’m looking for 4 or 5 x the price we will be at with the upcoming halving as this cycles top. So we should be able to look forward to something like $180,000 to $225,000 in Q3 or Q4 2025.

Anybody who is out of control, selling large value items in order to gamble needs help. Gambling should be fun, it shouldn’t be something that causes stress and upset.

I’ve said it 1000 times but you must practise responsible gambling. Only bet with amounts you can afford to lose. It shouldn’t be something that really makes you panic about losing money. Gambling is a fun hobby, the moment that stops being the case is the time to step away and assess what you are doing.

Looks like it wants to take off again.

313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 08, 2024, 07:13:16 PM
I think it’s safe to say that it is the biggest game of the season in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Leverkusen vs Bayern with Leverkusen having the opportunity to go 5 points clear with a win. Obviously if Bayern win then they will be in 1st place, 1 point clear. It is a real 6 pointer Saturday night.

I am going to be cheering on Leverkusen, I have fond memories of Xabi Alonso and it’d be some story for him to take the title from the all powerful Bavarians.

I then hope that when Klopp leaves in the summer, we bring Xabi back to Liverpool, to dominate in the PL & Europe.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 08, 2024, 05:39:28 PM
Gambling addiction can lead to domestic violence. When people get addicted to gambling they may experience financial difficulties which can lead to increased stress and tension within the family. This can result in arguments, emotional abuse and even physical violence.

The addictive behaviour itself can cause individuals to become irritable, impulsive and prone to aggressive outbursts. The loss of control and inability to stop gambling can further strain relationships, leading to a cycle of conflict and violence.

It is crucial to address both the gambling addiction and the resulting domestic violence to ensure the safety and well being of everybody involved.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blue card to be introduced in football. on: February 08, 2024, 05:35:53 PM
I don’t like the idea, I think it’s stupid. They should just leave the game as it is, we don’t need anything like this coming in.

Hopefully it doesn’t gather much backing and gets thrown out before they try to implement it into elite level mens football.

317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: $35K or $45K next? on: February 08, 2024, 04:50:37 PM
Well we have our answer now, the price is currently $45,200. It’d be nice if we have a pre-halving rally, we’re definitely about to enter the fun zone of this cycle.

I hope we never see $35,000 ever again, if that’s at all possible.

320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 07, 2024, 09:49:22 PM
  • Do you believe in Luck? If so, how do you describe your perception of this concept?
  • How lucky do you think you are from 1 to 10?
  • Does your sense of luck in regular life correlate with your luck in gambling?
  • Do you believe that some special things or actions can increase your luck?

In response:

  • Yes
  • 6/10
  • No, although I do have little superstitions

I do believe in luck, both good and bad, although you probably manifest your own good or bad fortune.
