3081  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: February 08, 2018, 02:56:16 PM
Despite the fact that bitcoin have been experiencing some dip ove rthe last few weeks, i still don't believe that this is the end of bitcoin. There have been talks that its because of certain adjustments and some said that someone took some huge share in bitcoin which caused the dip. Whatever the cause is, i don't think this is the end and i have high hopes that bitcoin will soon pump.

That's right, why would it be considered ending. Even if it dipped for as low as 6.2k dollars in the past few days, look at it now, it is up again to 8.6k. Bitcoin just has that trend of falling low and sometimes being dormant in value without much significant movement, only to surge once again and catch fire to gain more of its lots value back, and sometimes, even more, like what happened last November and December. You should know that Bitcoin is the oldest and the pioneer coin in the market, thus, it has a lot of experience under its belt and knows how to deal with loses like this.
3082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 08, 2018, 02:30:18 PM
yes.i am investing to ICOs after reading whitepaper.it is important to read before investing in any ICO.we can decide the quality of the project by reading the whitepaper.and also can find all the necessary information in whitepaper.not only whitepaper, everything related to the ICO must closely research before investing in any ICO.

I have been joining ICOs for a while now, and I have seen many whitepapers through those times. I am not saying that it is useless to read them, what I am saying is it is essential, especially if you're starting in the ICO market. From time to time, I still do check whitepapers, especially if I don't know how the project works and its background, if I want to be informed about it, then I do check the whitepaper. But, if the project I am joining is somewhat the same with the old projects I have joined, then I seldom check the whitepaper, what I mostly check are the rules with regards to the campaigns I join because I don't want to be doing something that doesn't follow the rules and end up with my work not being counted.
3083  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: February 08, 2018, 02:10:49 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

I guess no one control the increasing and decreasing of bitcoin price, so no one can predict it. Maybe we just need to be updated on every news about things that may affect cryptocurrencies prices, because for me a certain action done by a person or a group can affect bitcoin price if their actions are related to the digital currencies world.

I agree. Unfortunately, that's one feature of cryptocurrencies that is quite hard to overcome; it can be really volatile or unpredictable at best. Therefore, "predicting" whether it will drop or increase is a heck of a difficult thing to do. You can try to follow the trends that it may go, but all of them are speculations only and can't never really be bases to know what will happen next. I mean, take a look at what happened last year, it was stagnant for about 5-6 months, and then it surged for 2 months almost tripling its value, who would know that would happen.
3084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: February 08, 2018, 12:53:20 PM
"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks

Good read mate. I have read many articles of the same topic, and I am always intrigued by the steps and measures many governments are doing in hopes of controlling or regulating the cryptocurrency market. However, I think that, at the moment, many governments, even if they are doubtful or have qualms about the market, won't actually do anything to totally kill or ban it. It's because if they do that, then they can't exploit having income from the many ventures and benefits of the cryptocurrency market. They know it's a big business and banning it won't do them any good.
3085  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will this bear trend go? on: February 08, 2018, 11:15:27 AM
At what price do yal think will be bottom before we turn back up? I'm thinking $4,900 not to spread any FUD, however, they say when it rains it poors, and we have still yet seen people's response to this upcoming Tuesday on the 6th when all American policymakers meet, SEC and everyone else and we see what kind of regulation is made. The price will go down until the millionaires and wall street tycoons are happy to buy what they're going to buy and then we'll see it soar up to $13-$20k post regulations.

Well, I am really hopeful that this trend would end up soon. Many assets in the market have been going really low, and it's frightening already. Even Bitcoin and the stronger altcoins are falling down, and that says a lot of how the market is right now. Due to this recent downfall, many people have been becoming very negative or doubtful at best if the cryptocurrency market would last long. This would give a hit on the reputation of the market and would certainly stop people from totally embracing it.
3086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoint down on: February 08, 2018, 10:42:33 AM
what actually happens why altcoin all red blush
Now all the Crypto currency is cheap and it means they can be bought advantageously. I can advise still Snov, Doge, very promising NEO. This conclusion was reached by analysts of one of the rating agencies. They see NEO in the same perspective as ETH

That's right. Instead of panicking and sobbing over what's happening to the market, the best way is to plan ahead. Either buy your desired cryptos for future investment or check on what cheap coins to buy for future trades. One of the features of this market is its unpredictability and volatility. Therefore, once you enter into it, you should have embraced and accepted the fact that anytime the market could go haywire and many assets might fall. By falling past trends, although that is a scare moment, it would go back up and regain its value, which on the other hand crypto users should have to prosper in this market, patience.
3087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2018, 10:19:41 AM
There is no current alternative to replace Bitcoin and that is because Bitcoin hasn't failed yet. There are several hundred coins lined up to try take that position though if Bitcoin ever does fail. The crypto economy can survive without Bitcoin but I think a lot of confidence would be lost at that time, although a recovery to me would seem inevitable.

I agree that there isn't any replacement for it now because it's the very first kind of technology for its function. However, since we're talking about surviving, then I could say we can. We have survived without it before, and so, we can even when it's gone. But, the thing is, it's hard to go back to our old ways in this every changing world. Technology is made to make lives easier and more efficient for those who can use it. Bitcoin, or in general, cryptocurrencies is one of those things that make it easier for us, that's why it's difficult to be way from it, especially if you have been used to using it.
3088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH a Scam ? on: February 08, 2018, 09:11:42 AM
Ethereum has always been one of the greatest coins existed. And it is not a scam. You better read more because you lack information.

I agree. I think you're analyzing and looking at your information on a different light. Ethereum has been one of the most reliable and enduring coins. It is arguably the second best coin in the market, second only to Bitcoin for years now. Saying that it is often utilized in shady ICOs are not accurate. I think that it is mostly used by ICOs because the technology that backs it up is conducive to be used that way.
3089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: February 07, 2018, 02:18:52 PM
Whether its bitcoin trading or altcoin trading, there is bound to come a time when your investment is getting dumped badly, and its panic time.
How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?

How do you panic? Smiley I think that title needs to be rephrased. Anyway, I think that many people although they are not happy with what's happening is trying to be objective with the situation and not trying to panic over the top. The cryptocurrency market as we have come to know it is unpredictable, it can unfold in many ways, some good, more bad, it is volatile as it can change at any time and at any moment. Therefore, as you choose to enter the market and venture in it, it is with the understanding that risks would be with it, and situations like this would happen. Therefore, instead of overdoing being panicky, why not use the opportunity to invest and do something for the future.
3090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what Crypto community can do? on: February 02, 2018, 02:17:09 PM
It is true that the hackers are partially playing role to destroy the Crypto market as they steal bitcoins from the btc holder which are stored in the online wallets . Some user store them in online wallets as there are not much aware about the online fraud regarding the hacking done by hackers to steal btc. Some even hack btc while transferring them in the exchange .Even some exchanges has also done fraud which opened up and vanished after collecting as much as bitcoins possible those were fake exchanges created by the hackers so that they can steal btc there are several cases which i came across and some of my friends who were new users of bitcoins even lost trust over the btc as they ended up losing btc and i feel it has created really a panic situation for the upcoming investors aswell.

I agree. In an industry that is heavily inclined using the internet to bridge transactions and trades as well as keep assets. It is surely very uneasy and frightful to think that your hard earned money, asset or coins would just be stolen like that. Unfortunately, they can do their dirty work in the dark, and worse, they can't even be arrested to pay for their crimes in most cases. I think the next best step is to intensify and make the encryption stronger in e-wallets and transactions so that they would have a hard time to crack the code and hack ones assets. Also, people should do their part and do whatever is necessary to be able to protect their wallets and what's in it.
3091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: February 02, 2018, 01:53:41 PM
honestly yes, but for now it looks like some hackers are just targetting the markets with a low trust or just a new market
i never heard about hacking to private wallet, most of it hacking at the exchanges.

that's why i just deposit with a low amount and withdrawall all in if i know i would use it for a long time

I am too, and who wouldn't be? In relation to the cryptocurrency market, which is heavily inclined on online transactions, hackers are always feared becaus they have the knowledge and tools to rip you off your hard earned assets. Whether its in tokens, coins or money, once they are stolen by hackers, it would be very difficult, and actually, next to impossible to get them back. The sad part about it is the fact you can't even go after them because they are anonymous; they can do their dirty work in darkness and without anyone having to know them. However, the best thing a person can do is to just be safe with his transactions and try to safeguard his assets the best way possible.
3092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic Sell ? / Chance on: February 02, 2018, 01:20:13 PM
I believe that Bitcoin now will be either purged and the bubble will be blown up (which means that pe prive will fall extremely low) or BTC will survive the latest FUD and everything will be stabilized a bit later at the previous point of 10k and somewhere in the summer BTC will continue its growth. Personaly I'm sure that I've already lost all good moments to dump my coins so I just hodl it.

I think that it's normal to panic. After all, who would not panic when the top dog in the market has plummeted the way Bitcoin is doing now. However, I would say that there is always a chance for Bitcoin to recover and regain value. It is still the strongest asset or coin in the market, the most valued, the highest potential to succeed, and the best to market. Having all those good characteristics under your belt always supports your chance to climb back whatever the market situation is. I mean, even if Bitcoin is the best coin around, it can still succumb to market changes that may cause its decline from time to time. It's a normal market trend, I guess.
3093  Economy / Economics / Re: Those who have invested in bitcoin when it was 18k-20k$ on: February 02, 2018, 12:49:08 PM
I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?

If your friend is not stupid, then he will not sell his bitcoins now. Read various topics on the forum, everyone says (and I think so) that you do not need to sell it and the price will still reach new heights and your friend will change his mind. Rest assured.

Harsh but I agree. given that he invested on it alot, it would be such a waste and bad move to sell it now just to try and gain back some of his capital. I mean, if he invested in that amount, and in comparison to the amount now, that's half a loss of the amount he invested, therefore, you can't actually count that as a mitigating move to lessen his loss. I think, like the above-stated reply said, the best move at this point is to hold and wait out on this Bitcoin dump, and when it surges again and gains its strength back, then he may try to hold it some more for profit or at least trade it to other assets that could have better chances of a quick profit.
3094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 12:34:18 PM
Because its easy to invest by bitcoin. Anyone who has bitcoin can easily invest with bitcoin simply deposit them to desire wallet address. Bitcoin investment is much profitable also.If you buy bitciin with local currency and hold your coin into your wallet, if the price goes to skyrocket then you can earn a lot of profit also. Its a fine medium for earning some money.

I agree. Aside from being easy, it is one of the faster growing investment and trade markets around. Another probably good reason that it ventures relevant to the cryptocurrency market are inclined to crowd funding, thus, you actually don't need big amounts of money to gain assets and start investing, even if you are a small player that only have little capital to spare, you can still invest or do trading with what you have. Also, since it is relatively a young market, there is still much room to compete unlike those other investment markets that only the strong and large capital players can prosper.
3095  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC HOLD or SELL? on: February 02, 2018, 12:16:38 PM
I have 70 BTC now (average price 7500 USD)

HOLD or SELL

I`m very worried about Bitcoin Cash.

Bitcoin is currently raise in market. Because past two days before bitcoin cash is developing in fast growth. All the miners are access in Bitcoin cash. But currently all of them reverse to Bitcoin. So today little amount is raise and tomorrow it reach peak in cryptocurrency. Don't worried about Bitcoin. This have great future in market. Once it will continuous fall. You should exchange the currency.

I agree. Even if its prices are plummeting, and now that it's around 9.5k dollars, it is not yet time to panic. Bitcoin has rough patches like this, where it doesn't gain value, or worse, lose value for months at a time. Thus, following the past trends that bitcoin took, the best and smart move here is to hold. Hold until such time Bitcoin recovers and surges back to strength. Amongst all the coins in the cryptocurrency market today, Bitcoin is the strongest and highest valued, therefore, just be patient until it regains its value back. Also, it wouldn't give a good move to sell it now only to take a heavy blow and lose your capital.
3096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 12:01:46 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
People who dont know about bitcoins may hate it.They may raise their doubts about security of investments in bitcoins. In their life, they would have come across many such economical innovations which turned to be scam. They may relate bitcoins with such scam projects. But we have to explain them what exactly bitcoin is and how it has crossed its early stage to reach today's price of $1100.If they still talk against bitcoins, then it would be better to leave them as they are. When they realize about bitcoins in future, they may regret.

I agree. I think that there is no sense bothering yourself with people who don't like Bitcoin. They are entitled to what they want to believe and their own opinion about it. Also, it would be really hard to persuade a person to like something that he doesn't know, he doesn't understand, and has to business in. Also, right now, it is not yet in the stage where you need to force-teach someone how it works, unless they are your family, and you want to share with them the good things you're getting because of the cryptomarket. If you can't avoid that, I think the first thing you must show them is the legitimacy of the things they can get in the market, the positive things for that matter. How they can better themselves with it. After they see that it does have some good things it can do, the next thing is teaching them the concept in its easiest way so as not to overload and surprise them that they would shut down their ears and not comprehend what you're saying. After that, maybe give them a try on how the market works, and if they want to see it through, then help them. But if not, then just let them be. Smiley
3097  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: February 02, 2018, 11:21:22 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Bitcoin is a currency.  You cant say money is gambling itself.  But if you invest your money and convert it into bitcoin,  now it is gambling.  Because you take a risk investing your money to a volatile currency hoping it would rise up in the coming days,  but you know it might also drop.  There is still win or lose in it,  so basically its still gambling.  The process is gambling,  not bitcoin itself.

That's right. I think some people mistake it for gambling, specifically those who are  trading or investing. Since the value of many coins in the market, including Bitcoin, may come up or down in a snap, they think that it's like gambling when they do invest or trade because its like to playing the coins only through luck. However, that is not the case because the means to gain profit from cryptocurrencies is different from how it works when you gamble. When you gamble, and you lose, you totally lose the money or asset you gambled for, as supposed to cryptocurrencies, wherein even if you fail, you don't lose the asset, instead you lose some capital in relation to how much money you used to buy or get the coin. There might be some similarities in terms of having sudden changes of the assets, but market movements are not synonymous with game of luck.
3098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: February 02, 2018, 11:06:40 AM
Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

I think it won't end. There are still lots of people who are supporting ICOs quite avidly. Also, even if there are so many bad things and news swirling about ICOs all over the market. There are still ones that could be taken seriously and are really made and geared to introduce new concepts, ideas, technologies and products. I think its just that some joiners of ICOs are not diligent enough to check out if what they're joining in is legit and has a good chances of success, which leads for them to be scammed or be put in a bad situation if the project fails. Also, I think that's where the cryptomarket is different; it can help starting up companies to meet their objectives with a chance to become bigger with the help of people through crowd funding.
3099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats Happening?? on: February 02, 2018, 10:50:38 AM
Well,i guess that bitcoin price will return back to 2K-3K.The last three months of 2017 there was a huge pumping of the btc price and now there`s a massive dumping.FUD and negative news everywhere,Japan will regulate exchange platforms(this is not bad news, but it causes panic).Anyway,i believe that bitcoin will recover back to 16K at the end of 2018.Now it`s the best time to buy and HODL.

The decrease may continue; however, I don't see it returning to that low of a value. It has been nailed to around 7-8k dollars before it surged last November and December, so going down to as low as 2k-3k would really be a drag because that would amount to bitcoin losing its kingship title over other coins in the market. However, even if it seems that the market and bitcoin, to be specific, is in a dire situation. I would say that this is just part of how the market unfolds. Bitcoin is still the best asset around the market, and it has so many characteristic that points out to its capacity to regain its strength back. Also, there are so many holders of bitcoin in the market that would not let Bitcoin's value be driven to the ground.
3100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: February 02, 2018, 10:35:10 AM
I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you but low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)
Depends on the situation, a 7-14 day lowest would be a good time to buy but try to check if its already over sold, check the reason why the price is dropping. if you plan to buy today because its the red days and price continue to drop, I suggest to wait for a little longer as hard fork is around the corner and price will continue to drop.

I agree. I think the operative word their is "lowest". You have to gauge the coin or asset your buying and see if its value is enough for you, in relation to your capital, to be bought. Some people only consider the value of the coin, but what they are failing to see is how much they can get, especially if the capital to be used is only small. In this market, sometimes having more of some asset is better because it has more chances of increasing value as support to those highly priced coins that may gain, but it would only give you little profit. Following the principle of "buy low, sell high", the best time would always be when the asset is at its lowest value; however, you must also follow its trend of depreciation because, if you jump the gun and buy at one point, but there is still a chance for it to drop, might as well wait.
