3101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 10% increase in a day - why? on: October 10, 2021, 10:13:38 AM
It is always unknow whether the price has jumped due to some kind of news or because of some market movement, or probably both, but there is something that i have been noticing is that every year with the Q4 there is always a bit of surge in the prices, whatever the conditions and  the news, and it is still to this day unknown to me why that this is happening.
I think part of it is that there are other people that have noticed that pattern too and now this has created the expectation in the mind of traders that the price can go up at the end of the year, and if enough traders are willing to put their money behind this belief then this creates a self-fulfilling prophecy, however I think we are seeing something more profound than that, bitcoin is ready to go up in value in a spectacular fashion, and when it does the FOMO will be impressive, so I have no doubts the current ATH will be completely smashed.

The increase in the price of Bitcoin in a week by 14%, this is a good sign, because it will indirectly trigger FOMO. This pattern is often repeated,
so some investors finally predict that Bitcoin prices can continue to rise until the end of the year. It is not impossible at the end of the year will reach
new ATH, that way the best step we have to do right now is still holding the Bitcoin we have. Don't be in a hurry to sell the Bitcoins we have today,
be patient holding Bitcoin until the end of the year will make us generate bigger profits. In the end, patience is the key to success.

For me FOMO will set in again if we are going to break that next round numbers which is $60k.

Right now what we are seeing is speculators and traders just trying to make some money because of the bullrun this October. Nevertheless if we see $60k reach and sustain, then there will be a new set of investors that will enter the picture and pour their money. The real gauge here is how big this bull run going to be up to December as we are waiting for it to reach at least 6 digits.
3102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 09, 2021, 06:44:01 PM
^  If they’re putting on more weight, I think it means they’re going for more power, not speed.  And it also means they could start knocking each other’s head off from the get go.  And an added benefit of more weight, less weight cut is a more solid chin...  And they both already felt each other’s power.  Lol.  They’ll need the added weight.  Cheesy

It's an effective game plan by Fury in the second fight, he put in more point because he was telling us that he was going to knock out Wilder, but no one believes him but himself. But we saw what happen to the rematch and he did win by knock out.

So probably the say in the trilogy, the good thing about Fury is that he can carry that weight and still box and dance around.

We will see if Wilder with almost more than a year preparation, enough time to lay out a new plan with his new trainer/coach to go for that one punch that will knock out Fury.
3103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 09, 2021, 12:12:30 PM
Anyone watched the Bulls' past 3 games this preseason?

The chemistry is there, the way they communicate, they literally have 4 highflyers in the court, LaVine, Caruso, Ball and Derozan, the best part here is not their vertical though, it's how they pass the ball, Lonzo and Caruso are great all-around players and can definitely be productive on the court.

Even it's just a pre-season, we can see that the new Bulls roster are comfortable with each other. There seems no problem building the chemistry. It's like they are teammates for long. No issue, no drama but just playing basketball.

If that relation will maintain, they will have a good run in Eastern Conference. I see them finishing at least on top 5.

Probably what they need is to be consistent. There seems to be games that they are the favourite, but they cannot live it up and lose in the end. But this year, it was it was total upgrade, getting high caliber players to get them over the hump. Yes, probably they will be in the bottom half in the East and it will be close for the 4th-8th spot position. Zach needed a lot of help in the last two seasons and it seems the management has given him good talent now. Just needed sometime for the new players to really blend and find the perfect combination.
3104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 09, 2021, 11:17:03 AM
^^ And we have questioned Raducanu's decision to part ways with her coach. And now we got the answer, and I don't want to say this but she could be in the path similar to Osaka, wherein after winning a grand slam, she chooses to switch coach and she hasn't been the same.

As for Fernandez, I would say it's more on how the girl was brought up, close knit family and that's what keeping here grounded, unlike Raducanu who might have some 'air of arrogance'.

What a poor performance from Raducanu, you can't really picture how a grand slam winner suddenly lost in a first match against a relatively unknown. And for sure, a lot of bettors have lost, either singles or parlay with Raducanu winner because we might think that it is a sure win.

I'm looking next for Fernandez and Sakkari, they've performed very well last tournament they're in so let's se how they've journey in Indian Wells, might be good to bet on them on ML or handicap.
3105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla and Dogecoin (pt. 2) on: October 09, 2021, 10:02:57 AM
I agree, if there is opportunity grab here then why not?

But there seems to be some investors who think that it will go parabolic, a rise that no one can stop because Elon Musk continue to tweet about Dogecoin.

But it seems that the hype has caught up already. But for sure, the price can still go up, make us good profit once we go on a bull run up to December. Just don't be greedy and take profits if you think you already have a good ROI.
3106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM stolen in a liquior store on: October 09, 2021, 09:12:26 AM
It was a daring move by those thieves, wonder though how much they got with cash.

Maybe Bitcoin ATM should make their machine more secure so that it won't easily be taken like that. Similar to how secure fiat ATM is.

So it's time for the manufacturer to adjust their design as they will be the target of random attacks in the coming months.
3107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 08, 2021, 01:04:33 PM
Its early to say either Gaballo or Donaire well get a favor on this fight....
Even if the odds are not yet available, we can already presume that Donaire will be favored to win the fight, he will be the favorite in the betting sites because he is the current WBC bantamweight regular champion, while Reymart Gaballo is the challenger here.

I will also presume that Donaire will be the favourite here, maybe 1:3 to win the belt again.

He is the A-side on this fight, although Gaballo has also the belt, it is just an interim. So it will settle who is the WBC bantamweight, just regular and no more interim. Gaballo though is pure and raw power, while Donaire has the experience and the timing, respect for both Filipinos.
3108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 08, 2021, 12:08:36 PM

For example Raducanu is also playing today, its her first competitive match since the U.S Open

Will be 12 hours from now, we will see how Raducanu as wild card in this tournament will do. She will be facing Sasnovic, so I guess she will win her first match here and for sure all tennis fans are glued to their tv or watch it live since there's a lot of hype around her after winning a grand slam.

Haven't check the bracket and who's who is she going to face in the QF, but for sure she might face a lot of top 10 players again. It will be tough and hopefully she will not succumb to the pressures now.
3109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 08, 2021, 11:00:33 AM
^^ I just wondering what if Casimero and his team turn down the fight because they won't get any? I mean they will have to shoulder the bills travelling to England if the fight are going to be held there and then he needs to pay his trainer and every one around him helping to prepare the fight.

At least it will be -30% more on the purse his gonna get? Unless I'm wrong here?

And then again we have the benefit of the doubt since a new promoter will be handling this fight as we all know, the Triller debacle on the Lopez vs Kambosos fight?

If Casimero refuses then he will be strip on the belt because this is mandatory defense.

Then it will be Butler vs #2 of the WBO rankings to fight for the title.

So he doesn't have any options here but to follow the mandate and then simply beat Butler and then call out Inoue or Donaire for unification, and there could be a lot of money in the table that time.

That purse bid is ridiculous, I mean Casimero after all this time must deserve more money than that amount speculated in the bid. This whole thing is design for Casimero to give up that belt I think  Smiley but I don't think he would do that as he is used to receiving small purses before. The only thing he could do now is dispose of this Butler and hope for a shot against Inoue which is like winning a lottery if he could secure that.

Boxing politics? yeah, purse bid is ridiculous, as a champion of the organization, they should have increased the purse bid so that it will somewhat be fair for Casimero.

He might be receiving small purse in the past, but he has proven himself, defended the belt of WBO. Hopefully though, he wont' take this as disrespect to him and will go and fight Butler no matter how big or small the purse is.
3110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why NFTs projects are not making wave-like ICOs on: October 07, 2021, 11:27:32 PM
There are like hundreds of ICO every month during it's prime in 2017-2018 that's why it makes a lot of wave and money for investors. Not sure about the data on NFT but it seems they are less so obviously, there is the difference.

But as far as the hype goes, NFT is still hot, but investors now are wise, maybe they got the profits and then move around the funds to NFT or to other projects. That's why the money circulating around NFT can't be compare to NFT's of today.
3111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 07, 2021, 02:04:25 PM

It does not look good for Lebron vs Curry match-up, lol. Although Lebron is the captain of the Lakers, I like to see a showdown between Westbrook and Curry as these are players who are explosive enough when they play. Of course, when Klay comes back (provided he is healthy), it will be a different story as the warriors will also become more competitive, but he will not be back soon.

Looking from their 2 previous games, I can say that GSW improves a lot,
not just outside but also inside looney and Bjelica is really helping they are adding threats when they have the ball inside.

If you noticed, the same design of offense is their defense still working for the Warriors,
I expect more good adjustment when Klay starts to play.

They are not the favorite for now, but when the season start and if they continue playing
like this and start a good winning streak, for sure odd will change for them.

Yeah, for sure, might he some sway odds in their favour. But they really need to get Klay play along and Curry to maintain his form and maybe defend his scoring title this year.

For sure they have improve a lot with a lot of changes. But just the same with other teams, hopefully Curry will remain healthy and lead GSW again. They still have a lot of guys that can play and bring the same intensity, but this is still Curry teams and he needs to lead the way for this young guys.
3112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 07, 2021, 11:04:04 AM

But when this match is exactly going to happen? I cannot still find any information of the date when this match has agreed to happen.
They did not mention the date yet, maybe they are still working on it.
I did some search now and I could not find any information about the date and the venue, but only found this one (https://www.ringtv.com/627430-reymart-gaballo-says-hes-ready-to-face-idol-nonito-donaire-in-mandatory-fight/) which is interesting.

In that article, Gaballo said he is ready to face his idol in boxing, that's 100% respect but I hope he will show his skills in the fight and give his best to remain undefeated although people believe that he will just loss easily.

Right, it's probably going into the same process, purse bid and then the winner announces where and when the fight is going to happen. But for sure this is going to push both are willing participants and there only 1 champion for the WBC belt, Gaballo holding the interim belt, while Donaire having the regular belt for knocking out Ouballi.

So let's wait, he might have a big respect to Donaire and even calling him idol. But when the bell rings, for sure they are going to "kill" each other in the ring.
3113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero - December 5 on: October 07, 2021, 10:22:42 AM
I was surprised with Romero's record and I might say that he's not an underdog here since he has a huge chance to beat Davis easily through his aggressiveness on the ring. However, Davis is his perfect match since they both have shown surprising moves in their previous matches. It will surely be another tough fight.

He will be the underdog here, Tank Davis will be the A-side of any fights, unless his opponent his Teofimo Lopez or maybe Ryan Garcia.

Of course Romero will have a chance to win, until he taste Tank's power and retreat. It will be good in paper and then probably in the next early rounds, it will be competitive. And once Romero felt Tank's power and body shot since he is the taller, the complexion of a fight might turn into one lopsided.
3114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: October 07, 2021, 09:43:33 AM
Let's see. even within 2 days, the price actually went up to the $55k range. for now, it looks like the price will continue to rise, and the next target is $60k to $64k. however, if the bitcoin price hits $64k this month, the potential to hit $85k is imminent. if some investors, or some positive news comes out, I think a price of $85k to $100k is a very possible thing this year.

hope no more banned news from China. oh god, the news always works to make people panic.

I think it'll fail at the first attempt at current ATH but there should be every reason to believe it'll take only a few more attempts -- but the final surge has to be at volume rather than spike of price for it to leave some formidable support at 60k.

I don't think we'll see any more parabola -- but if it happens, 100k might even take us by surprise before the month's over.

Really huge surge in the last couple of days, $48k, $50k then $52k are being slice like a butter. Last time we see this kind of run is last year about the same time as well. So let's way if the parabolic rise will continue as the next stop if the round numbers of $60k and maybe we can see some people selling at this price for whatever reasons. I don't think $100k this month is possible, maybe if we pushed it to a stretch, new all time high. But if we are still on schedule, maybe this December $100k could be touch, or even more.
3115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 06, 2021, 02:52:14 PM
The Chicago Bulls started off with a pretty nice preseason win last night.  Now of course it is early in the year but I really like what Chicago was able to put together this offseason.  Expecting them to actually start being competitive this year.  I however of course do not expect them to win it all or anything, I leave that to the Nets as of right now.

Yeah, Chicago is one of my dark horse team this season, and probably will bet on them if they are the underdogs because the roster was really upgraded with DeRozan and Ball helping Lavine. They have blow up losses last season, and then really just choking up in the closing minutes, a winnable game that turns into a L.

Hopefully this season, it won't be the case, they can close up games and with good enough momentum to bring them into a competitive year.
3116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 06, 2021, 12:50:47 PM
In the indiana wells women tournament i am interested in how raducanu performance is gonna be after that perfect run in us open with no set droped, because a lot of times when young talents apear and perform well they soon disapear from the scene, the question is will we see another osaka and barty or the pressure will be too much for raducanu.

We will see, hopefully she will not be a one hit wonder in tennis, we need more consistency in the ladies side. Like the previous era's wherein the women are more likely the men, top seeds in grand slams. Osaka has drop off the top 10 now, after winning the US Open in 2018.

Hopefully this will not be case for Raducanu or even Fernandez, those two are the future of women's tennis, not even 20 years old but playing like a veteran and very tough mentally.
3117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 06, 2021, 11:51:32 AM
That's why Caleb needs to be have a good plan and work with his coach on how they are going to upset Canelo because it seems that he doesn't have a weakness. So the best way is to test him out early in the first 2 rounds and see how Canelo will react. Not sure if Caleb will show as the heavier during that fight, or the lighter one so that he can move and be the fastest one on his feet so avoid Canelo's power punches. But it will be boring though if he keeps on running and playing defense.

Team Caleb already knew that Canelo doesn't have a weakness so that might be the reason why Caleb Plant resorted to trash-talking so he could provoke Canelo and make him out of focus on fight night but i think that's not gonna work as Canelo has been through this kind of a situation a lot and he already knew what to do.

I think it would be good if Caleb won't go light on this fight and try his luck brawling with Canelo, who knows if he can land few solid blows that could turn the fight in his favor.

It could work though, same strategy of GGG in the first fight, he really took off early and try to stay in the pocket and hit Canelo with good shots and then move out of arm's way. That's why the fight is very close as GGG was controlling early and Canelo chooses to play defense plus he is a slow starter.

So Caleb needs to play the same, score points early, avoid those bombs and then wait for Canelo to do the catch up, then try to use his boxing skills like in the Canelo vs Lara fight. Go light and use a lot of movement to frustrate Alvarez.
3118  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning}: Flubot Android Malware on: October 06, 2021, 10:16:23 AM
This is pretty much same as those pop-ups you come across on porn websites, this pop-up is just bit specific.

Of this is specific, so the thing is you don't trust blindly trust anything to be installed on your smart phone.

But as you can see, there are a lot that fall on this trap, as the first variant of this malware targeting Spain has managed to steal 11m phones already. That is huge, and the criminals has some kind of control servers wherein they can watch everything without you knowing, which is a bit scary.
3119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 04, 2021, 02:48:20 AM
Having NBA basketball back makes me genuinely happy. Now that I’ve aged to the point where I’ll likely never be able to dunk a basketball again, I have a newfound appreciation for these athletes in the heart of their prime doing what they love. Sure, it’ll still be a while before we see the superstars putting on a show in the heat of competition, but it’s just great to be able to enjoy a sport I love again. Can’t wait to see this matchup again in the Finals when it matters. Any other matchup besides Lakers/Nets would be a disappointment.

Who wouldn't love basketball?  Grin

So everyone is really happy to see a NBA game again, unfortunately though, I wasn't able to watch it live, like I was late for about an hour and just see some highlights of the Lakers vs Nets and listen to those NBA analyst.

Just pre-season game though, but when we go to the regular games, that's where the fun starts. Long season, lots of bets to put and make some money (or lost) again.  Smiley

I think Dwight Howard intentionally did it, but yes, it was really funny.
3120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 04, 2021, 02:16:23 AM
''World number two Aryna Sabalenka has been ruled out of the Indian Wells Masters after testing positive for Covid-19.''
It's too bad for Sabalenka because she was the first favorite to win this tournament.
Sabalenka said that she is feeling well for now and that she is very sorry that she can't perform in the tournament.
''Britain's US Open champion Emma Raducanu has been given a wildcard into the main draw of the WTA 1000 event.''
Will Raducanu with the new coach and under the burden of high expectations after winning the GS title continue with good games and victories?
''Men's world number one Novak Djokovic, 2018 champion Naomi Osaka and 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams are among others also not competing in the event.''
If Djokovic no longer plays by the end of the year, he could lose first place in the tennis rankings and a chance for a new record.
What do you think?
Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/58778566

It's very unfortunate for Sabalenka. This covid-19 has affected many lives and also the sports, Sabalenka is not indifferent over here. I was pretty sure that she would definitely make the finals in this tournament but maybe not anymore. And Raducanu is a young prodigy. She has got a new and experienced coach and I hope this new coach will help her get to new heights and achieve more in this tournament. Djokovic not playing in this one is very saddening. Does anyone know why exactly he won't play? He is no. 1 right now, but not playing till the end of the year might cost him the position. Medvedev is only 2 thousand points behind him.

Djokovic pulling out of the Indian Wells is a big blow to the tournament as they are disappointed to hear that he is skipping for this year. He didn't give any reason, but I will speculate that he just wanted to take a rest, after losing to Medvedev in the US Open. And I think he can still maintain his number 1 ranking at the end of the year.

Fun Fact: And this is the first time since 2000 that we won't see any big 3 in Indian Wells.
