3101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dream Bitcoin 100k on: December 02, 2021, 10:47:42 AM
is there anyone here who has the fate like me who only dreams of having bitcoin even though on the other people dream of the price touching 100k
everything went wrong, indeed when waiting for the correction to reach the target i was still in doubt then regretted not buying now
It's your fault for not buying when the correction happened, you wouldn't feel this regret if you just have leaped out of faith that bitcoin would go up, you would've doubled your investment to it if you did. Your only wishing which only frustrates you. Remember that there's always risk in investment so why get in to it when you're having doubts?
I think for new investors this is something natural, even old investors often experience it. Doubt is something that is natural in bitcoin investment because investing in bitcoin is much different from other investments such as gold or land. therefore if you want to invest in bitcoin you need a strong mentality and can control emotions well.

True and experience is the best teacher here, and I would say that there is also a learning curve because it's not everyday that you will make money if you are a trader, sometimes you really need to take a L.

The most important thing is that you learn you to control your emotions and don't be greedy, take profits from time to time. But as far as dreaming to $100k, well why not, I don't think though that it is reachable at the end of 2021. Maybe we should look forward in 2022 and be positive that it can be achieved.
3102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 02, 2021, 10:18:43 AM
What do you think of Suns vs Detroit tomorrow game?

I wanted to put a good amount of money on Suns, although they will be without Booker, but they are going to face a lowly but dangerous Detroit.

The line is open -12.5 Suns, you do guys think they can cover this one or this is a trap since Booker is out?
3103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: December 02, 2021, 08:23:35 AM
Currently, the poll in this thread has favored GGG to 23 votes and zero votes for Murata. Indeed, GGG is really the crowd favorite wherever I read about this match.
According to their record GGG has the experience and knockout advantage compared to Murata. GGG's record is 41-1 (36 KOs) while Murata's record is 16-2 (13 KOs). Both their KO rate have frankly small gaps, 88% and 81% respectively. So that leaves GGG to have the upper hand in this fight but he will have to endure and overcome the challenge of fighting the opponent in his own country where Murata is viewed as hero and a gold medalist in boxing during the olympics.
GGG has more experience than Murata. He is a great boxer and I like to see his precise punching again although there might be difference now because of his age compared to his performance few years ago, but I believe he still have the power to win.

Yes, that one thing we need to look at his fight, whether GGG at 40 has still the same punching power because he can get old overnight. Obviously, he has the experience here and face a lot of boxers, great one than Murata.

On the other side, Murata is younger and a tough fighter as well but it seems he is lacking on defensive skills based on my observation in his previous fights. Anyway since it will be held on Japan, certainly he will have a great support from his countrymen.

Murata is also a champion, although he didn't have the caliber of fighters that GGG face, still he has some in his arsenal that can be pull an upset. Specially that this fight will be held on his home country, he will simply not going to get down that easy and will fight to get a win as well.
3104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: December 02, 2021, 07:53:52 AM
One thing that comes to my mind is the weather factor, Japan by December is very cold and Ancajas should acclimatised himself otherwise it might affect him in this fight as Pinoys are not used to a very cold weather.

Good catch right there. Extremely cold weather tends to weaken the body of a person who has used to be on a torrid weather.
However, Ancajas might already be in a place where it's close as cold as the winter in Japan. He might have adapted into different kinds of weather especially that he's constantly flying from 1 country to another whenever he has a fight.

Moreover, body conditioning will be they key to eliminate that factor, keep the sweat coming once he steps foot on the ring.

Yeah, team Ancajas should come to Japan at least two week for him to really be familiar with the weather because for sure it will be snowing in Japan and the Philippines doesn't have that one in their calendar. So get early in Japan then continue his training under this weather so that once the actual fight, there will be no more adjustment in the coldness of Japan as his body are used to it already.
3105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin makes new ATH. More ATHs to come shortly. on: December 01, 2021, 10:43:18 PM
Op, don't believe in S2F too much because the mt gox story is not over yet and they will release the coins any time (can do that even this month) and the fear can clearly be felt after seeing the market shaken and btc under 60k. I don't say that it will not recover and make a new ath, but not in December 2021 according to my thinking. On other hand, I see money flowing back into alts and they are doing better than btc, so don't stick to btc at times when you know you can make better gains with other options.

But also the effects of the new covid-19 strain which really put a dent to all financial markets around the world. Maybe the critics of S2F modelling are now mocking it because we are far from it's prediction of 6 digits at the end of the year, maybe because it didn't take into account this kind of events (mt. Gox and then Omicron strain). But it is what is it, bitcoin is very volatile but it's good if we are going to end around $60k-$70k at least.
3106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 01, 2021, 10:06:59 PM
Butler has 33-2 record, maybe his fight highlights are not so impressive but he has the capacity to beat Casimero.
His 2 losses are coming from Emmanuel Rodriguez and Zolani Tete, and he has never lose a single fight since 2018 (after his loss to Emmanuel Rodriguez)

I'm excited now knowing that the fight is less than 2 weeks from now.
Hopefully, free live streaming will be shared.

Paul Butler's 33-2 record is impressive but the problem for him is the quality of opponents he had faced. Only Emmanuel Rodriguez and Solane Tete are popular (at least to the boxing world) and he losses to both of them. While Casimero has fought battles all over the world and never loses one, this might be his advantage over Butler IMO.

Some bookies have already the odds, Casimero 1.03, Butler 9.40.
A very huge underdog, I will be waiting for more options as there will be some in the next few days before the fight.

Wow, that huge odds for Butler to begin with and it seems bookies are not giving him a chance to win against Casimero.

But who wouldn't? Casimero has been tearing this division since he got the belt and this is just a mandatory fight so the disparity in the odds. But yeah, it's better to wait for other betting options to open so that we will have a selection specially to choose a better odds for this fight.
3107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 01, 2021, 07:18:15 AM
17 straight wins (Suns). What an important and expressive number.
I hope the Suns can maintain that performance throughout the regular season.

But I believe there were some important factors in this game.
Curry and some GSW players didn't play very well and scored few points, while several Phoenix players scored and helped the team

Yup, as others have said, it was a disappointment night for Steph Curry. We are expecting him to really play good in this game because everything is on the line here. But it was his night and then the Suns has played a terrific defense as well to give them credit for that. I'm not sure when is the next game between the two, but the Warriors wanted to avenge that lost and Curry will redeem himself next time in their home court. Besides, the Phoenix Suns is the favourite to win here, but maybe some of us bet on Warriors to win the handicap at least.
3108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: December 01, 2021, 05:45:28 AM
Chances on this match is Loma will win and Commey will just be a stepping stone to get Loma's revenge against Lopez. We will see it soon!
Loma will likely win this fight, but I guess it's not necessary for Loma to take his revenge against Lopez due to the following reasons.

1. Lopez is not the champion now, he lose against Kambasos Jr. which we call a major upset.
2. Lopez is planning to move up, so bye-bye Loma.

There is still that element of revenge of the mind of Loma against Lopez and he is still fuel by this one that's why he came back fight Nakatani knock him out and then going after Commey, a ex-champion. In the amateurs, Loma only lost once if I'm not mistaken, and he avenge his only lost and beat the guy the second time. So most likely this is his mindset to chase Lopez last time to get his revenge win.
3109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Buy more Bitcoin on: December 01, 2021, 04:58:02 AM
Let's be real here, some day Bitcoin will enter a bear market similar to the crypto winter of 2018, and Microstrategy together with Nayib Bukele will look stupid for buying the dip that keeps dipping and dipping. Buying Bitcoin every single time it falls is really not the smartest strategy, the best strategy is to buy a lot of coins at the bottom of bear market and sell them and the height of bull market.
No, I don't think they will regret it and will look stupid at all. If you notice the average bought price of Bitcoin that is currently held by Microstrategy then you will realize why am I saying that. On the other hand, they aren't like me and you. They could buy in every dip which will help them recover previously bought coin prices quickly. Do you think they are just holding? At least I am not believing them. They announce once they bought, but they will never announce upon selling. Whales always gainer because they could sell it for $70K and perhaps bought it in the $50K zone. Still, will you call them stupid? If they were stupid they shouldn't become a multi-billionaire.

I think they are still going to be in profits no matter what. I think the bear market is still far though, just imagine if the price hits $150k, just for the sake of argument and then goes down 50%-60% during a bear market, everyone is still going to make some profits if you bought in <$50k zone. So still win-win situation for this whales. Yeah, they might sold at sometime to make some profits, who doesn't?
3110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 29, 2021, 02:49:33 AM
Steph Curry massacred the Clippers in the 4th quarter after the technical foul and even made fun out of it.  Grin
Steve Ballmer should sue that referee because he lit the fire in Steph's game. Just kidding.  Cheesy The big difference was the defense. Curry even made 6 steals for the whole game.
This guy really surprises us more. Last time he made 2 blocks in a game. It just proves he never stops with just 3 pointers and doing his best to avoid being a liability on the defensive end.
Now Steve Kerr can focus on their offense more. If you all remember, they do a switch in defense before whenever someone forces to match up with Curry. It won't be the same anymore.

And this two teams are know for their defense that's why the score is low and it's under. I think a great player such as Curry always find a way to ignite the competitive fire in himself. And so Steve Ballmer is the one who did that and as you can see he hit those 3's again. I'm not sure if he hits 6 or 7 in this game, but it was enough to put the dagger on the Clippers heart. He also has some good assists as well. Next up is the game that probably everyone is anticipating, GSW vs P. Suns, I will take GSW with handicap against Phoenix.
3111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 29, 2021, 02:10:37 AM
Well, I guess most of us won this bet for GSW. I just added a little bit of spice making it -3.5.  Grin A good win at 2/3 since the overscore didn't hit but still profitable in the end. Thank you for the tip.

Lakers versus Pistons coming up.
Moneyline doesn't look profitable at all but putting handicaps may do. I think I will pass on this one as Lakers are inconsistent and will just savor my profits.

For all s**t and giggles, I put a +10.5 on Detroit on this game  Grin. I think the under will be also a good bet as this is going to be more of a defensive game. And going back to the history between the two about a couple weeks back, for sure this will be a physical game. I wanted to skip this game, however, I wasn't able to bet on the other 4 matches so I missed the easy win by GSW and the Milwaukee Bucks as they cover the handicap with more to spare.
3112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 29, 2021, 01:40:29 AM
I just saw this on Youtube and I'm very surprised Teofimo really believes that his son won the fight and that he claims they are the victim of the industry and even telling people that the world knows his son won the fight, he should fire his father he made Teofimo believe that he is superman and nothing can harm him, he and his son are delusional.

EXCLUSIVE Lopez Sr: BULL***T Loss vs Kambosos, Teofimo WON Every RD, Taylor NEXT!

I mean that really hurts right? They've been trash talking in the press conference and very confident that his son is going to knock out Kambosos in the first round. But look what happen, they are so boastful that it was his son who got knock down in the first round and after that it was really all Kambosos. So now he is listening to his promoter Bob Arum, who states on the media that Taylor is the next big thing for Lopez even before his fight with Kambosos. And for sure the rest of the 3 kings, Haney, Tank Davis, and Ryan Garcia are going to mock Lopez with his lost here if even Teo talks about this other champion in the 135 division.

But it will the worst stylistic match for Lopez, Josh Taylor is very technical fighter and I'm seeing the same results, maybe much worst if he is going to fight Taylor at his weight class. Of course this fight can easily be done and could involved huge money because they are both under the Top rank banner and that's why Arum is pushing for this fight to happen next year. It's better first for Lopez to take a easy fight first in either 135 or 140 before going for the belt again to at least gain his confident back because Kambosos took his soul in this fight.
3113  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 28, 2021, 10:57:42 AM
History says bull trap.  Investors say multiyear bull run.  I think history will likely repeat itself, and maybe has already started ahead of time.  There's no doubt that Bitcoin and to a larger extent crypto is taking off and becoming a mainstream investment.  I have friends I've been trying to get into Bitcoin for over a decade that still have never owned a satoshi, but are now releasing their own NFT collections.  It's pretty crazy, but I'm not sure that any price model has other chains stealing Bitcoin's userbase priced into their models.  As much as I am a 4-year cycle guy, I'm beginning to have my doubts as to whether we'll see the famed $200K next month...  I'm not one to ever count Bitcoin out, but I will admit that my faith is beginning to be questioned.

Who wouldn't question the price movement and the prediction at the end of this year? I mean everyone is talking about a 6 digit figure price for bitcoin this December and yet the price is still in the $50k'ish.

And to be able to move to the target $100k, we need to double it up which I doubt can happen in just 1 month alone. Otherwise if will be a bubble next year just like 2017 and waiting to be burst.
3114  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 28, 2021, 10:20:11 AM
The transition to a heavier division is always difficult, after all he is considered to be a very heavy puncher in his current division but at the heavier divisions this may not be true, so supposing this is the case then he will need to adjust his style and increase the rate at which he throws punches, which will leave him more open for attacks and we will see if his chin can take the increased strength of his opponents, all in all this seems like a good challenge for Canelo and it is going to be very interesting to see if Canelo can overcome it.

This will be a challenging fight for Canelo for sure even if he is considered as a heavy puncher in his current division moving to a heavier division is not that easy. Ilunga Makabu accept the offer smoothly and he is preparing for this fight with Canelo for he was also acknowledging that Canelo was one of the best fighter today. This would going to be an exciting fight to watch for, I am rooting for Canelo but I don't think so if a knock out win in favor of Canelo will going to happen, quite difficult to predict.

It will be an opportunity for Makabu to fight Canelo, I mean Alvarez is already a legend and if he retires for sure in years to come his name will come up as the fighter that Canelo faces in the CW and beat.  Smiley

Who knows, Canelo might still carry his power at this weight division because he will not need to diet and make the desired weight. All he has to do is eat a lot and maybe hit the gym for muscle and then train in the gym.
3115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 28, 2021, 09:21:06 AM
Glad I didn’t put a whole bunch of coin down on this Chicago Bulls vs Miami Heat game. As a Bulls fan it’s been a bit difficult watching this game as most everyone is having a pretty poor shooting night. Luckily the Heats star player (and of course former Bull) Jimmy Butler isn’t having a great game himself.

It was really a close between between the Bulls and the Heat, 5 minutes left and a tie score. But then Vincent and Lowry make there three's but the Bulls still try to come back but Jimmy Butler hits crucial shots. He isn't having a great game, but he was very instrumental on the win because of his assists. So good win for the Heat at the road against a tough Bulls.

Looking for the Suns vs GSW on Dec 1, this is gonna be huge and it will be on Phoenix homecourt so they will have the advantage here.
3116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 28, 2021, 08:36:32 AM
So we have another upset here, Lol, I don't know but it seems the Lopez bandwagon is over now with this huge lost of his. Now, he has no more belts and they are thrown back to earth, both him and his father by the Australian.

Probably he will go and chase Loma next to get some money fights or move up in weight for Josh Taylor for another big payday. Now other champions are going to chase Kambosos next year.
3117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 28, 2021, 08:13:33 AM
And just like that, Djokovic Serbia's was upset by Germany in the Davis Cup.

Djokovic really try to salvage Serbia's win here, but they've lost in the doubles to Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz in score of 7-6 (7/5), 3-6, 7-6 (7/5), it was really that close as you look at the score. Germany now advances vs Austria next.
3118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 27, 2021, 11:00:04 AM
Same here. Don't consider Butler as an easy opponent. Instead, take Butler as Casimero's challenge before going to the Finals against Inoue. I'm watching some of Butler's past winning matches and what I noticed is, he's lacking stamina when the fight is reaching Round 7 up. Casimero's stamina, as from what I observed, can last up to 12 rounds but he began showings signs of fatigue in Round 9 or 10 which is usual to any boxers.

Let's see how they will work on that in the actual fight.
Of course Casimero will have high chance to win this fight, literally stamina is very important for any sports including boxing. We already see many boxer got KO'ed due to exhaustion even he's very aggresive on the first 7 rounds, if he can't KO'ed Casimero he will lose. But yeah, the problem is Casimero love to play aggressive... he doesn't like to play more defensive. It will be toe to toe on the first 7 rounds.

And the fight might not even last 7 rounds, Lol. I think Casimero's stamina has been tested in his last fight wherein he has to chase Rigo for the whole fight. He try to be aggressive and uses a lot of endurance and yet he didn't get tired as we expected. But I would really love to see a toe to toe battle between the two. No more running like the Rigo fight and hopefully Butler is not that kind of fighter.
3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: November 27, 2021, 10:09:45 AM
Tron is exceptionally old coin, still has a place to beat coin in crypto field. It is intensely utilized to diminish exchange expense conjointly for quick transactions.
It has many comparative qualities that doge or ada has. Indeed i think it has everything to Attain victory like others do but it still moo by its cost.
So what do you think approximately this coin. It could have way better future like doge, ada? Or it'll be vanished with the stream of time?

As you have said, they have been in the game for so long, unfortunately though, during some of altcoins magical run last year and still this year, it seems that Tron has been left out for unknown reasons.

Coins like Doge, Ada as you mentioned have reached many milestones and new all time high in this bull run. But Tron was stagnated for a long time.

But I don't think they will just disappear or vanish, they will remain in the market and survived.
3120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 27, 2021, 09:28:09 AM

I hope so that playing on the home country, Murata somehow gained a boost. If only his previous fights have the same intensity and level as GGG, I can say that he has an edge to take GGG in a close bout but I don't see it that way.

Murata is against a monster. Want to see how he will deal at it and show the community what he got.

Boost from the fans, though personally I doubt that he can get closer to GGG as this monster knows how to use all his advantage, regarding to age gap, GGG still active and he will not allow that, he still got good stamina and the way he fight that close range fighting strategy he can use that to lock Murata and take a KO combo to knock him down.

Hopefully Murata will show something for the fans, just don't let GGG beat him in an easy way.

He is fighting in front of his pride to give something to the fans, let's wait and watch.. Cool Wink

We can also based a boxer based on his last performance, and so far GGG is still fighting hard at his age. Nevertheless, no one can fight father time, even the great Manny has fallen victim to it.

So if GGG gets old overnight, then maybe Murata has a chance, but if GGG continue to become of the best middleweight even at his age then for sure even if the fight is made in Japan, GGG will go for a KO.
