321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just saying on: February 05, 2022, 08:34:10 AM
That's what portfolio is for, you don't hold same projects and called it portfolio your portfolio must consists of all available crypto utilities, from metaverse projects to playtoearn projects, from meme coins to smart contract projects, even web3.0 will be recognize sooner I believe, also it's a must to have few BTC and ETH is your portfolio this is what makes a portfolio completed.

I guess this is the right time for the community to produce new names based on NFT or p2e games, if isn't right to call it a portfolio then we should prepare one. What do you say of inventing new names and use it by the crypto community? I was taught from the beginning that portfolio consist only of my tokens and other coins that are available to trade.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Which business profit model do you prefer? on: February 05, 2022, 12:56:29 AM
I do prefer business which I can profit on an average daily basis and that concludes money comes from the poor. The rich are few which you need more money to invest as they much likely spend their money on luxury items, or party themselves so that means you need business, services and items that suits their needs like cars, branded clothes, establishments like coffee shop bars and the likes. Unlike the poor, they are many, which you could be having more consumers. You can start a small business which the products can be afforded by the mass. Living on and looking food for the table is their primary goal. Selling them foods and other products which they only need, me and my wife have a small business and services to offer in our town. We sell beauty products that are on demand and most of the consumers are the poor. We also offer services like printing documents, t-shirts, caps, mugs and all sorts of things related to it. It started small but it became big enough to cover our needs, aside from that little by little we have achieved our dreams. It may give you little profits but it is constant and the amount of audience is magnificent so we are contented with it. I hope you can fetch lessons with our experience in our humble business.
323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New here, GAS FEES- what is the most economical way to move assets around. on: February 04, 2022, 05:09:47 PM
Depends on the network you will be trying to use, don't just do random stuffs or you might regret it later. I have learned a lot, I have made mistakes, tweaking gas fees, exploring and never asked any questions about them. The sad thing is, some of my coins are lost, also I have multiple failures of sending transactions burning my gas fees. I also have a trick when withdrawing my coins and convert them to cash, For example I use XRP to transfer my funds because in Binance they only require you to pay 1 xrp. Compare it to other like eth, it would so much difference. So the real advice is learn a lot and don't be lazy reading especially the rules of the network.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bad feeling about the mining profit of incoming Intel Arc GPU on: February 04, 2022, 05:03:18 PM
Intel is the newcomer here and based on those links it doesn't look that promising however to be sure we have to watch them in action, see the hash rate, power consumption and stability of this Arc GPU before jumping to conclusions. In normal conditions when a new competitor wants to enter in a business area he usually brings a better product compared to the competition (if he is serious about his business) and also a bit cheaper just to get the market share.Let's see how Intel will play this game.

True and I do hope they will shake the GPU industry to boost it up, new engineers, new point of view, new vision, technology is constant needing of that.

Else it's funny how NVIDIA CEO reacted to the announcement of this new toolkit, he appear to be scared of this competitor  Cool
https://www.pcgamesn.com/nvidia/intel-one-api-jen-hsun-huang

Does this means that current GPU prices will go down? I hope things get right because even though mining eth is getting harder GPU prices still remains and worst is getting more expensive than it is. Hope things gets better with new competitions like this comes to the market, it will help a lot.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Government Really Ban Crypto? on: February 04, 2022, 04:25:55 PM

I personally don't think so, the shot above says it all, Any government banning crypto is like Nokia and Android, if you know the story, then you understand what I mean, but for those who don't know the story, I will Share a little about.

When Android came out and major phone companies like Samsung, Tecko, Infinix etc, started producing Android powered phones, Nokia being one of the biggest(if not actually the biggest) phone company at that time(was even bigger than Samsung) being over confident in herself refused to switch to Android powered phones, instead they opted for windows phones which close to no one uses.

This singular decision did not only cause Nokia to loose its number 1 place in the phone industry, the owner(s) of the company later lost(sold) the company to Microsoft.
And you all can agree with me that Nokia isn't doing well today as they did back in the days.

This same thing will happen to countries that refuse to embrace crypto today.

Unless they would make a bill regarding the use of crypto, that who shall ever caught using or in any case related to it shall face death penalty. I guess the people would go nuts if ever this would be approved. I guess not if only they would put restrictions and some sort of regulations, totally banning it would be difficult and their would be few people who would go far disregarding the laws and still use crypto regardless of the situation.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Worried about inflation? In Argentina, it’s a way of life. on: February 04, 2022, 02:51:10 PM
Have you tried the Mung Beans? They are good for long term storage, in history class I learned about them, they were used by revolutionary armies in our country way back 1800s. It is better alternative to rice as it cheap and you can store them longer. If ever inflation kicks in due to certain phenomenon, wars , economic crash, people would hoard rice and I would go for my secondary option of Mung Beans as few from the common people knew about this, so you would probably be able to afford it by the time of turmoil comes, just sharing the knowledge.
People should learn how to plant edible foods in case inflation kicks in it's always best than to hoard on every week. Just like what you said, mung beans is an alternative of rice so if you have a large backyard then start making a garden and plant more veggies but of course you have to really take care of it if you really want it to survive plus fruits that will grow fast in less than half a year or less is suitable for everyday meals. The idea here is to spend wisely while taking more to hoard than usual.

Yeah you are right, last year of October my wife and I have started to follow our plans in life, we are a growing family and we have manage to get 120 square meters of land and build our humble home, good thing we only build a small house and leave enough space for our car's garage and leave the rest to building a small garden to plant the veggies. We are now seeing results as we've already started to plant sweet potatoes two months ago, thinking of buying more seeds like tomatoes and some spices. In the second phase of our plan, we are trying to buy another 120 sqm beside our lot and it will be a nice thing to do as more lands more food to grow. The view is great and it isn't too far from downtown, with peaceful neighborhood and also refreshing air.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 02, 2022, 05:34:13 PM
It really is confusing, way back when I was new I was exploring about Bitcoin and trading and stuffs, at first I was thrilled and excited but later on it did not matter at all as I was blown by the hype and all the things I have read are probably just temporary and depends on current situations and trends, some choices I have made are influenced by my colleagues, family and partners in businesses. I have been in this circle of decision makers and never I have regretted joining them. It is up to you to hear them or you single handedly do it.

329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think BSC token with rewards in BNB are sustainable in the long term? on: February 01, 2022, 11:59:32 PM
Hello,
I knwo that some BSC tokens have rewards in other currency like BNB, BUSD or USDT.
DO oyu think that this time of tokens is sustainable in the long term?

Do you know some of them which hasn´t pump and dump price scheme?

Thank´s

Pump and Dump is always present to all cases of crypto currencies, if those tokens give you dividends or rewards, then it is a good sign. A lively coin is better than a stagnant one. This approach of the developers are to attract more new investors and money to the coin and to keep existing ones or adding up their portfolio with their token. If you'll just have to blend in and make the most profit out of this rewards schemes and keep them on your watch always for future dumps.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin White Paper - Now available in 40 Languages on: January 31, 2022, 04:27:53 PM
This is marvelous, who ever thought of this translations was brilliant in mind. Kudos to the people who manage to make it happen, not all people around the world can understand English. I was getting ideas right now and maybe translate them also to our own local dialect. This progress should be continuous and maybe one day even the farthest people on earth could read Bitcoin's White Paper with their own language too. Glad I have seen good news today even though the world is in peril, gives me hope that Bitcoin might soar again in not time.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new Gaming projects? on: January 29, 2022, 02:33:38 PM
Games are somehow owning year by year. I recently saw an article that one fourth of the world's population are playing games. So ot is not surprising that it could give you good profits if you invest in this field, especially games that are connected with blockhain. Also NFT now is somewhat at its hype and there are lot of projects popping. All you need to do is know them if they are worth investing. I also did invest in games in the past, most of it are my times playing. But it did well give me compensation, I was playing Axie recently and now i totally stopped because I can't manage my time anymore, also the project is now losing its end and good thing I quit early. Good luck finding good ones as they are like needle on the beach.
332  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is bullying Ukraine, but can it really hold? on: January 29, 2022, 01:20:07 AM
Ukraine won't be easy to beat, it's back is covered by great nations, USA, London and other super power countries inside NATO. If ever there will be war, Russia will need allies, may N. Korea or China as these two have issues with the west. Now the wisest move to do is solve the issues and ease tensions without any bloodshed, war is not the answer and yet we as human are also fighting another war that the enemies are naked in the eyes.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 28, 2022, 02:17:28 PM
They are just cowards and don't wanna join the market at all. Despite this dip, they would say "we will wait for lower prices' and the moment they knew it was already too late and keep telling you it is not the time. The yare just here to make noises and don't wanna spend a penny. They will never leave their safe zone and if the time maybe comes, the price would've been far greater than they ever imagined.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 27, 2022, 05:13:50 PM
more confident with tokens generated from bounty than airdrop that are currently widely available on social media..!!
what do you think about the current airdrop?
is there any hope for the future?
and is anyone still looking for luck by joining the airdrop?
What potential airdrop tokens did you get?

I lost my trust on airdrops, it was way better back then but now, airdrops are just means to increase ones telegram channel, twitter followers and more. I remember way back 2017 that I got a 1500 USD single coin airdrop. Now you are no near to those, even 5 bucks is hard for you to get one. Bounty is better because you can get stakes depending on your rank here or the number of followers you have.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is fear in the market, isn't it time to buy? on: January 27, 2022, 04:14:06 PM
Now there is a fear of investors in the market. Bitcoin has lost over 50% of its ATH since its recent drop, the fear index hit 13, and even altcoins that have held up well on this downtrend like NEAR, LINK, LUNA, FTM have also lost value. Short positions increase Everyone is in a panic, many fix losses and sell....

Does this mean that we have felt the bottom and there will be a rebound soon? Is it time to buy?

No accuracy and it is unpredictable, if luck is beside you then you buy or sell it is up to it if you made the right decision. So many events in the world that are happening it somehow related to Crypto currencies, world occurrences like tensions between known crypto pro country and unfortunately planning to ban it somehow.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fate of bitcoin in Russia on: January 27, 2022, 04:09:41 PM
It is because people will panic and buy Bitcoin if things get worst between Russia and Ukraine. You what I mean, if this gets to a big war, Russian currency will fall hard and people will see Bitcoin and other crypto currencies as a safe haven. It is a wise move and some sort sacrifices should be done, like bitcoin mining company closing down and other related transactions to crypto. Our Russian friends here might be thinking of ways like migrating to another country if they have means and bring their stuff to where Bitcoin is free to use with no banning occured.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING! ETH 2.0 is no more!!! on: January 27, 2022, 02:06:41 PM

Quote
"Henceforth, Eth1 will be known as the "execution layer" and Eth2 will be the "consensus layer." Whereas the execution layer is where all the smart contracts and network rules reside, the consensus layer makes sure all the devices contributing to the network are acting in line with the rules—and penalizing those that don't. Together, the two layers will merge into just plain ol' Ethereum after the consensus layer is ready to replace the current mining system."

so that means there is no new network?. this is just network upgrade by making it 2layer? so that means the speculation about ethereum 2.0 is over. ethereum 2.0 will never be released, and our long wait has been in vain.

I was saddened about eth 2.0 because my rig won't be used anymore, I am miner and this news is maybe good for me if I could keep on making good revenues on my rigs. If somehow another layer and more shares to be given to miners the this will be a really good news for small time miners like me.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: January 25, 2022, 03:01:15 PM
The market has been going downhill for some time now. In order to get the best return in such a situation, which altcoin should we invest in that gives us the maximum benefit?

The answer is really hard but we could give some tips to survive this red market days. The top ten coins are not there for some petty reasons, they have made their names, they have foundations and strong ones. They have reasons that they were in top ten list they, have been there for how many years, and it is an eye opener for newbies why they should research about those and see for themselves if they were really worth the time and money. New projects can be a one way ticket to fortune, but is like searching for a pearl in the deep ocean. It is up to you in the end, good luck brother.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: What If? on: January 25, 2022, 02:48:44 PM
We recently saw the USA is thinking about another sanction to Russia. We know this will take a negative impact on Russia's economy. But what if Russia ally like a chain, Iran and other countries stop accepting US dollars for import and export goods from other countries. We all know China has one of the biggest markets in the world and in 2020 USA imported $434.7 billion worth of goods from China. So what will happen if the Anti-USA countries agreed to this and stop accepting us dollars. Actually, I want to know is it possible for them to do that? What is your opinion about it?
It will have impact, seeing your currencies not accepted by any country is an insult. This already happened before and they did destroy the country who tried to do that. They don't care much about the currency but it represents their country, not acknowledging their money means also you don't acknowledge them as a whole. You remember Lebanon (Col. Gadhafi), He said paper money isn't worth at all, and they want their Oil paid in terms of gold, and look what they have done to their country now. I don't know in the case of China and other allies of Russia, because USA can't easily penetrate those super Power Countries, they will be having a hard time. If they can't do more damage to countries using sanctions then they will fine other ways like using CIA and methods, China is a Communist Country and it will be hard as hell to inject them with something to destroy the core of their(beliefs) Nation. It is not like other any democratic country where you could put rallies on the road and demonstrations, it is different.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I invested $100 for 18 years for my new born nephew on: January 25, 2022, 02:40:46 PM
This is better than nothing, good decision out there. You are a good man with a good heart, I salute you bro, on this time we are in, even family members don't trust you much if you are poor, they lack of respect and they will not see your worth but you are one not one of those.
Who knows after 10 to 15 years the seed was kept and it really reached those time of year, and by that time Bitcoin may will be more valuable than now, it is a great opportunity for them. Also I was touched particularly with the salary your brother is getting. It is way too low for me but also it better than nothing at all, now he must double his time for work to earn more and support his growing family.
