321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 28, 2017, 07:37:48 AM
when i mine only ETC i get 26mh/s single rx 470

if dual mine etc+dcr only 20 for ETC and 600 in DCR

is that normal
Yes, it is totaly normal with dual mining on AMG GPUs.
Only nVidia GPUs have the same hashrate with simple and dual mining.

Hi, Claymore.
Is there a nVidia version in project (for Ubuntu users) ?
If not, can you write in the title "... for AMD" : each time, i forgot than nVidia is not supported :-).
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 27, 2017, 06:27:29 AM
Is the latest Claymore"s 10 version compatible with CUDA 9 (Ubuntu 16.04 x64) ?
Is there any hashrate increase with Cuda 9 vs. Cuda 8 ?
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.1 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: September 26, 2017, 09:03:55 PM
I saw in the github directory the executable for Windows and Cuda 9.
Is Cuda 9 make improvment in mining hashrate with this CCMiner ?

I'm with Ubuntu and I have some issue for installing the last driver (mandatory for Cuda 9).

I use Ubuntu and have been looking into this issues for long.
Driver 375 seems to be the best for stability but, as you said, it is not compatible with cuda 9.
There is a temporary workaround: you can have cuda 9 performance with cuda 8 by building for compute 5.2 and use it on pascal cards. This is not a true solution but, until there is a new stable driver and cuda 9 is final, it can be considered acceptable.
I use the 375 driver too (375.66 exactly).
I compiled CCMiner with multi compute (5.0/5.2.6.1) because I have many GUs generations.
My ask was to know if Cuda 9 make these GPUs fasters...

For Ubuntu/Linux users : is the 2.2.1 version of this CCMiner compatible with GCC 5.4 ?
(the last I used was not : it was only compatible with GCC 4.9 and before...).
Thank you.

it is.
usually the gcc version issues are with cuda, not the miner itself.
Ok, thank yu for this fast and precise answer.
Which Cuda version is compatible/recommanded : the last one (8.x) or some version before ?
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO NOW LIVE on: September 26, 2017, 10:01:53 AM
Asking for money (1000 MNE) to the MINEREUM dev. is absolutely unacceptable.
MINEREUM was an airdrop and dev earn nothing with this.
MINEREUM is th propriety of the dev AND the community.

More than 566,000 MNE spent to the ARTEMINE ICO and still no one burned...
Dev. don't speak a lot and is not hury to make wat he is writting.

i think they will burned them after ICO done.
That was that I thought but he wrote some days ago that the MNE from the ARTEMINE ICO will be burned is many rounds and the first of these round will be in a few days.
These few are behind us, now.
I'm not in a hurry, I just want what's written to be done.

My question is about the git repository(not bounty). I would like to check it for knowing the progress if the repository exists.

@ elgoog

I just know that you have a Wallet address for your purchased of this coin. We do not have a bounty reward here.
MNE is a smart contract over Ethereum Blockchain.
There is no repository because there is no coding except the smartcontract.
And I think all the code of the smartcontract is public (at least a part) : see in the first page of the topic.

332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: XMOS - Light Weight Linux Base ETH Mining OS on: September 25, 2017, 04:06:50 PM
Hi Zenfr,
Thank you for give me a change, hope every one like this OS.

For your question here the answer:-

1. For source code I will open up github soon.
2. No fee, totally free.
3. For Nvidia OC I am using Nvidia-Setting and Nvidia-smi.
They was a 3 type OC setting inside XMOS.
NV_OC="1"  Present Overclock setting. It will -100 to core and +500 to memory.
NV_OC="2"  same OC setting apply to all GPU install on the system.
NV_OC="3"  Each GPU having own OC Setting. Need to set OC setting 1 by 1 for each GPU

You just need to put OC value on the conf files. That all.
    Ex for:-
    nvidia code: NV_CLOCK="-100"
Your are set -100 to Nvidia Code. Same as MSI afterburner
    Nvidia memory: NV_MEM="1000"
You are set +1000 to GPU memory. If you can get +500 stable on MSI afterburner, on Linux it was x 2 (1000).

Just to share current setting that I am using:-
This my mining ring running on biostar star TB250 Pro
Using 12 PCs MSI Nvidia 1050 TI card
Celeron processor
4GB memory
16GB USB Pendrive

NV_WATT="52.5"
NV_CLOCK="-180"
NV_MEM="1130"
NV_FAN="88"

Can download for try.

I can accept any  recommendations, and make the OS more user friendly.
Ok, thank you for the precisions.
Goods feature for nVidias OC :-).
Any idea about GTX 1070 hashrate @100 W (or others GTX, why not) ?

Edit : I've seen the hashrate in previous posts : GTX 1070 @ 88% (132 W) = 26,5 MHs...
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best non nvidia card for 9th gpu? on: September 25, 2017, 01:41:24 PM
I understand windows won't work with more than 8 gpus of the same brand.  By "Brand" I assume the meaning is either amd or nvidia i.e. you can't use an MSI nvidia card if you have 8 other gigabyte nvidia cards.

That being the case, what is the best AMD based card broadly as good as a GTX 1070 in roughly the same price range?  This is for nicehash.  RX580 seems to be a big step down for mining anything but ether.  I'm looking for something that can be underclocked to use around 120 watts.  Any suggestions?
I think if you don't want nVidia cards but only AMD, the best is RX 470.
RX 470 is cheapest than RX 579 and RX580 and has the same hasrate.
And the best for the end : RX 470 use less power than RX 570/RX 580 and RX 480.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO NOW LIVE on: September 22, 2017, 08:37:36 AM
MNE is now at 36240 satoshi : it is a pity to see the price falling down every day.
The available supply is approximatively 500,000 MNE (total supply - ARTE ICO).
Yesterday, the exchange volume was 6 btc : 6 btc/0.00036240 btc = 16,556 MNE.

Who can sell at so low price and in such quantities ?
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]Artemine- First Self Mining Smart Contract 2.0 - ICO LIVE - 400% BONUS on: September 22, 2017, 08:30:31 AM
Is the first round of MNE from ARTEMINE ICO burned ?
Where have you see that ?

ARTEMINE ICO is now more 550,000 MNE (and 110 ETHEREUM :-)) : it is a lot.
I hope that devs can find a solution for the problemes talking here about the hundreds MNE genesis address...

That is because you are a new member, and only for that.
Yes, all new member have the same message inserted in their messages.
It is a security feauture to prevent people that you are a new member and, perhaps, a scammr or something else.

I discovered this coin these days! Is it still possible to participate in this project from the beginning? Are there masternodes? The supply amount is quite nice! What are the ways to get postcoin beyond mining (PoS)? Thanks for the info!
You have tp buy PostCoin on an exchange (Yobit, for example) , install the wallet on your compter and the PoS will work with the amount you bought.
It is a nice PoS coin : I have it since a long time :-).
All long-term holders of PostCoin takes profit from the pool of developers. To receive these payments, you need to register the level of the Holder http://postcoin.top/ru/forum/prisvoenie-rangov-postcoin
Thank you for this link.
I am a PostCoin holder since the begining.
Is there an english version of this page (the original is in russian) ?
Google translate is not very usefull with russian language...
there is no english version that page. this thread doesn't support postcoin's community. Use this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1596189.0
just write you postcoin address here http://postcoin.top/ru/forum/prisvoenie-rangov-postcoin and your holder rank (watch table)
after that you''ll recieve monthly payments. (Post-code for business wallet https://postcoin.online/) where you can exchange Post-code into postcoin. Post-code will be in your PM on http://postcoin.top/forum
Thank you for the reply and the explanations.
The first postof the topic have no text but slides and slides are pictures and cannot be translated with Google translate : impossible to understand anything for me :-).
Thnak you again.

340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 21, 2017, 07:37:01 AM
Reason of this failure was that airdrop allowed exchanges and big BTC holders like ICONOMI or ICO projects to participate. Exchanges were not allowed, but actually they created non-exchange-looking BTC addresses for this purpose.
You're wrong there: exchanges were allowed to join the airdrop. What wasn't allowed, is an exchange user claiming airdrop from an address owned by the exchange.

It does feel bad though to see the dumpers profit more than the holders, but that can still change in the future. Byteball is working on real life applications. That's a risk, but if it works, it will pay off.
It's important to know vere these whales are come from ?
And your explanation are very interesting but someone are not oK with...

GByte price is dumping hard and it should not.
Hope the end of this larges sales and the near future GByte pump.
