can GTX 1070 mining dash?
NVidia GTX1070 can mine every cryptocurrencies : only AMD GPUs cannot mine some. For really new beginners, you can use Minergate. After Minergate, Nicehash is better but more complex : it is still a lot easy than direct mining. If you have time to learn, you can use specifics mining softwares : CCMiner TPruvo, Claymore's dual miner... |

It's tough, isn't it, to have a kick ass gaming system when you know that card could me making you some coin.
So what "compromises" have you made to have a decent gaming system, or maybe you decided to stop gaming :0
I play only with the game I really like : they are very very few (adventure games generaly). My gaming system : 2 x nVidia GTX1070 MSI 8GO : this is very good stuff, for gaming and for mining :-). Perhaps I will buy in the next weeks a nVidia GTX1080. |

With the nVidia 1070, tou can set @100W fo 26 MH/S, then 3,84 W/MHs... and your cards are a lot less used.
Wanted to make sure i understood this correctly. Are you saying i can see my power to: 123-124W? (This being 6 X 3.84+100Watt?)? No, I would said : With each GPU setted at 100 W, your total power will be 600 W (and +/- 50 WW for mobo/RAM/CPU...), total 650 W, At this setting, each GPU had a hashrate /- 26 MH/s, then for the 6 GPUs, your RIG will gave a 6 x 26 = 156 MHs. At this setting the ratio Watt/MHs is better than yours. |

As long as the temps aren't too high and the rig is stable you are fine. Each setup will have slightly different settings so it's possible those same settings on my rigs would be unstable. The real test is whether or not your mining software or computer crashes.
I forgot to write : the fans. With a 80% fan setting, I thinh you RIG is very noisy. With the 100 W setup, you'will setup you fan at 50%, even a little lower. And your RIG will become very quiet. If the noise is not a problem for you, money and the least wear are still 2 good items for everybody. |

Using 6 x Zotac NVidia 1070 mini cards. Also using cyclenerds eth mining image and Ethminer. Would like to know if my overclock settings are too high?
Power Limit: 136w
Graphics clock offset: tried 50, 100, and 150 (does this actually matter?)
GPU Memory Transfer Rate: 1200
Fan: 80%
I am getting temps: 55-63
Clocks current video (MHz):1582-1600MHz
Clocks current memory: 4404mhz
Are those all safe figures to be working with?
Getting 188MH/s across the 6 cards

I'm pretty new to cryptocurrency mining and I was wondering what currency i should mine and how to do it. I have a gtx 1080 ti fe and want to mine when I'm not using my pc (at night and when I'm not at home).

nVidia GPU cards are marvellous hardware for mining, especially if your electricity cost is high. Unfornately, the 1080ti is not the best in the nVidia offer (who is 1070). To choose what currency to mine, you can found help in some website like "whattomine", or in this forum (and this section) where you can find some specifics nVidia 1080/1080Ti threads. |

dumb question. Is equihash and cryptonight working on linux build? I can get the algos working, but not these 2. Using Ubuntu 16.04 and GTX 1070's Cuda 8.0.

Equihash and Cryptonight are working well with Linux/Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04. With Linux, you have to compile yourself the sources from GitHub. ... and thank you Epsylon3 for this precious mining tool, now in version 2.2. |

I use only nVidia cards and I am very happy of the result.

Bref je suis allé sur le slack et, pour ceux qui, comme moi, n'ont plus accès à leurs RISE, il faut créer un ticket de support ici : https://support.rise.vision/portal/homeJ'ai créé le miens il y a cinq heures environ et pas de réponse pour le moment : j'avais été prévenu sur le slack que ce serais probablement long, sans précision sur ce que veux dire "long". N'hésitez pas à partager vos expériences ici. Ils avaient dit ca sur le slack, twitter, facebook  Mais t'en fais pas, j'en suis sur que tu vas recuper tes RISE ! On a une bonne equipe  Le prix est passe de 0.10$ a 0.90$ en une journee, c'est vraiment fou  Le Slack est un moyen de communication temps réel : absolument inefficace pour diffuser une information sur plus de 24 h. Twitter et FB, c'est probablement utile, mais tout le monde ne les utilise pas, c'est donc uniquement un complément des moyens de communications historiques qui ici étaient, comme au lancement original de RISE : le site, l'interface des comptes en ligne et le premier post du topic officiel bitcointalk.org. Je n'ai pas voulu m'intéresser aux soucis d'équipes qu'il y a eu et je n'ai aucune opinion sur les motivations des un ou des autres. Je vais me contenter d'apprécier que toi ti aie une bonne opinion de l'équipe actuelle. J'espère donc récupérer mes RISE le plus rapidement possible. |

I think dev will make all future projects around MNE and it is wise to do so.
There is more than 700 altcoins, but MNE is a particular one because it "auto-mining" feature. I think the MNE team will growing to manage the two coins (MNE and ARTEMINE), but MNE projects will be here for long term, for years. |

PoS will never see the light.
AMD GPU hashrate will decrease more and more.

I submitted the ticket 5 days ago but it seems their support department does not work these days. I also tried to email the staff who is assigned to my case but no reply from her so far. I tried to message Bitmain via FB and Twitter, no result too. Anyone got reply from Bitmain these days? Do you guys have the support staff email like Janet, Bella or Barbara so I can email them directly? The problem is quite urgent since my bank does not allow me to send bank wire to Bitmain due the amount is pretty big, and I can not provide the a professional contract but only a simple proforma invoice. My request is just to change the payment from Bank Wire to BTC, but it seems it s very hard to get their attention these days  Hi. I have a ticket in the Bitmain support since one week. This is the first time since years... and I am a little nervous about that. Before, the support was allway nice and without problem. |

The actual one is very good, but we ever hope better ;-).
I plan to release new version in 3-4 days. I've almost finished ASM mode for ETH+LBC, also try to find some workaround for voltage control. Thank you for your reply. Happy to know for a new release soon and the dual mining mode ETH + LBc will be my choice in the next days :-). |

Do all BTC addresses have corresponding public/private keys?
Yes, every BTC adress have a corresponding private key. Be carrefull : if you make a withdraw to pay something for example, the return of the transaction will come back to an other couple BTC address/private key. |
