321  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politicians playing politics on a polluted democracy on: March 23, 2024, 02:00:15 AM
Instead of serving the people, many politicians take advantage of their positions to embezzle public funds to enrich themselves and their families. Leaders who make money from their own countries invest and live abroad only to return when they die. Africa possesses abundant resources, but people are still mired in poverty because of corruption and poor management.

If we build a fair and transparent legal and institutional system to prevent corruption. Raising people's awareness of their rights and responsibilities in society will reduce problems, aiming to serve the common interests of the community.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 23, 2024, 01:55:22 AM
Previously, I used to play offline more commonly, but when crypto became more popular, I started looking for some decentralized services to experience. Although in terms of scale, they are still too small compared to the market share of gambling, but for personal purposes, I think it meets the needs.

There are a few familiar names in the crypto space in terms of gambling, but they have never become a major force, and there are still some legal constraints that still exist, so there is promise in this field lots of exploitation potential.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana memecoin is trending on twitter.. on: March 23, 2024, 01:51:06 AM
Recently, there's been excitement in the Solana ecosystem, mainly due to the impressive rise of memecoins. We've seen the likes of BOME, SNAP, and today, SLERF is performing well. There have been promising announcements regarding cex adoption, with platforms like Bitget, MEXC, and OKX all joining in. SLERF has already achieved a market capitalization of 400 million in just a few hours. The hype is crazy. Are you holding any?

Similar to gambling games where we see a much more generous source of money from investors, the SOL system is attracting attention with many memecoins continuously achieving a mc > $1B. I've also heard about the SLERF issue, which honestly sounds more like a staged attack than an excused mistake. But it seems that according to information about SLERF, they are returning money to previous investors, indeed there is a lot of nonsense surrounding the issue but the FOMO helps some people who are benefiting and also those who are suffering damages.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should be looking only at the brighter side on: March 23, 2024, 01:45:21 AM
Thinking about positive things is good, but how to transform everything present around you cannot ignore the risks to prevent. We want good things in the future because of the things we have experienced in the past, with bitcoin there are many opportunities and I believe that in the future there will also be many opportunities with it. But in terms of investment, we view Bitcoin as a long-term investment and focus on its great potential. Bitcoin price can fluctuate strongly in the short term, but it tends to increase in value over time.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polkadot, what do you guys think? on: March 22, 2024, 07:57:19 AM
It hasn't gone into bull mode like BTC has, is there a reason?

What do you think about the future price of Polkadot?

It's not yet time for them to get the spotlight, but it has always been known as the leading blockchain in the space. I think compared to L1 blockchains, the DOT competition is showing a weak advantage, as most of the options are in spaces where investors can benefit, and speculation also takes time. With the belief that DOT is good, I think it will also be a hotly discussed L1 in the near future. I don't have much speculation about the price yet, but perhaps this period of DOT accumulation is still very good.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA vs Smart DCA, what do you choose? on: March 22, 2024, 07:52:51 AM
Yep, agree this is indeed a smart strategy. If I have the ability to apply it, I will do the same, but I also understand that the principle should not be too stubborn, so I often think about harmony between investment and life. Someone's formula may be suitable for that individual, but it may not always be applied effectively.

Looking back at the method, I'm still a bit skeptical about using it on a large time frame so it's just a simulation for DCA on a small time frame, but in this space if such good timing is certain everything is so convenient.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can governments crack down on crypto? on: March 22, 2024, 07:46:43 AM
  • Can crypto continue to thrive without the support of governments?
  • Do you think governments can suppress and restrain the crypto market with their power?
  • If you were the head of government, would you accept or reject the crypto opportunity for your country?
1. It is clear that government support can play an important role in promoting the development and widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies. So if it comes under intense criticism, it will be difficult for cryptocurrencies to grow, but we in this space are also seeing more government acceptance.

2.  yep, maybe so. And we have also seen some countries using their rights to issue orders requiring people to comply, whether opposing/supporting, it is part of the process of helping crypto become more known again.

3. I think the support could be coming up with many policies linked to blockchain, as well as finding many ways to apply it in life.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football teams create a kind of community on: March 22, 2024, 07:40:55 AM
IMO, soccer creates a strong sense of community for fans. They are bound together by their common love for their team. This can lead to rivalry and even hostility with fans of other teams. Fans often attach their pride and identity to their team. When their team loses, they may feel disappointed, angry, and even embarrassed. This can lead to conflicts with fans of the winning team.
However, it is important to note that football can also bring people together. When fans come together to cheer for their team, they can create a sense of community and belonging. Football can also be a way for people to relieve stress and relax. Perhaps the media should focus on the positive aspects of football, such as sportsmanship and community.
329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The use of non state actors in politics and the dangers in it on: March 22, 2024, 07:37:36 AM
Yep, they are increasingly involved in politics, and can play an important role in promoting issues and representing marginalized minorities. I think they can bring new perspectives and promote innovation in the policymaking process. But it can be seen that extremist and violent issues are easily manipulated and taken advantage of by nonstate groups to gain power. When these groups are given political power, they can use it for personal gain or to suppress opposition groups. Although this is a sensitive issue, the participation of nonstate actors in politics is a complex issue with many aspects to consider.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chances for a Litecoin (LTC) ETF? on: March 22, 2024, 05:56:51 AM
(...)So let's discuss. Do you think a Litecoin ETF has a chance? Are there companies that are applying for a LTC ETF (Grayscale, according to the Reddit thread, seems to have announced interest)?

IMO, after the bitcoin ETF was approved, it seems to have paved the way for opportunities for top alts. We have talked about ETH, SOL, XRP,... and the case of LTC will be similar, it's just a matter of time.

I think things will be positive as we move into the bull cycle, where news like this will easily push any top altcoin. But looking back at LTC's position, we must admit that the crowd's attention may have decreased but it is still the leading cryptocurrency in the market.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Farming and it importance to the economy on: March 22, 2024, 05:52:26 AM
Yep, agriculture plays an extremely important role in the economy of any country, but we are also experiencing the sad fact that it is an unattractive sector, because most of the age groups serve services for the field are not those who prioritize the field. But it must also be said that agriculture provides an essential food source for people, ensures national food security, and agricultural development is the common responsibility of the entire society. I also live in a country with a very large agricultural industry. I know that improving knowledge and skills for farmers to apply science and technology to production helps increase economic efficiency and bring infrastructure. We also need to change the perception of an important industry that requires serious attention. Especially encourage young people to participate in agriculture. Using science and technology in production and using sustainable farming methods, protecting the environment and natural resources.

332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum Ecosystem is better than Solana Ecosystem on: March 22, 2024, 05:42:34 AM
Personal issues IMO keep a neutral perspective to not create a confrontation in opinion, maybe it's good for someone, but also causes complaints with others. In the crypto space, we always face different perspectives. I see adoption as the basic step for users to approach each chain. Whether it is ETH or SOL, it also has advantages/disadvantages, recently we have seen a strong price increase in crypto so most ecosystems have received great attention, I have Used them recently and had the same feelings as everyone else but like I said about acceptance.
333  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about self investment too. on: March 22, 2024, 05:36:11 AM
This is true when we realize that satisfying personal needs comes from material things. Other things such as health, love, spirit, knowledge,... also need to be improved. Investing in yourself, you are investing in your own future. By cultivating knowledge, skills and experience, you will be able to achieve greater success in life.

Don't be discouraged if you don't see results right away. Be persistent and make efforts, you will achieve success. Learning how to balance things in life is an investment that most people are making, it's just that the perspective may be different.
334  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politicians and false humility on: March 22, 2024, 02:57:42 AM
Politician turn out to be the most humble people on earth when they are looking for power. They make all source of fake promises to solicite the support of the people but when they succeed after election they will start to see themselves like God betraying all the people that sacrifice everything to ensure they are in power.
Politicians are suppose to replicate the humility they exhibit during campaign after winning election but instead they became so rude and arrogant to their supporters.

Yep, during the election process, many politicians show humility to attract people's support. They make promises and commit to implementing policies that benefit the community. However, after being elected, some of them may change their behavior, becoming distant and less interested in those who support them. When holding leadership positions, politicians face a lot of pressure from different interest groups, thereby forcing them to make decisions that are not always in the interests of everybody. Not all politicians change their attitudes after being elected. There are still people who always keep their promises, strive to fulfill their commitments and always care about people's opinions. All politicians should not be judged the same. There are still people who always keep their promises and perform their responsibilities well. Therefore, it is necessary to have an objective view and assessment based on the specific actions of each individual.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore Financial accountability to your detriment on: March 22, 2024, 12:47:54 AM
Yep, this is an important skill needed for stability and success in life. By taking the time and effort to manage your finances, you can achieve your goals and create a strong future for yourself and your family. IMO, financial accountability is not just for the rich and anyone can apply these principles to improve their financial situation.

Discipline and planning are key elements of financial accountability, regularly evaluating your financial situation and adjusting your plan as needed. And if you have difficulty managing your finances, seek help from a professional or experienced person.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: March 22, 2024, 12:39:08 AM
If everything good is waiting for you to get it, then life is so simple, right? In the space we can see a lot of work that brings opportunities/risks, what I see from airdrops, bounty, testnet, retro,...

IMO, with each bull cycle, we will witness many new forms of making money. With new trends we will be exposed to different forms, but they are still based on principles from marketing.

Recently we have also witnessed the launch of many projects with huge airdrops, and also holding tokens for rewards, there are many choices and every decision is your choice and responsibility experiment with it.
337  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you believe soup is good for your health? on: March 22, 2024, 12:33:02 AM
The problem I understand is how we will use these foods to benefit from them. Dishes related to soup have a special flavor, and in some countries it is an indispensable special dish. So it's understandable that it has been proven, but certainly excessive use can cause health problems, like a person becoming obese from eating too much food.

So I just want to rethink any of the mentioned subjects and look at the core, and here the usage depends on the person and the products are just a means for us to feel.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins also classified as Altcoins? on: March 22, 2024, 12:21:55 AM
Altcoin refers to all cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, and here memecoin is a part of altcoin.

Like you may have heard about crypto L1, L2, DEFI token, AI token, memecoin,... all are terms that describe altcoins.

Perhaps OP doesn't know the basics so he's confused between terms memecoin popularity in the space makes it a trend that quickly gains attention, but in the altcoin space most of it is driven by hype. But back to the main topic, this is just a matter of confusing terminology.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Is biggest Enemy of Bitcoin on: March 22, 2024, 12:15:38 AM
(...)This is the person https://twitter.com/chrislarsensf who spend more than 5M$ to attack bitcoin. Problem is he work for a multi billion $ company Ripple, Imagine if Ripple with billion of $ want to attack to btc.
You can at least go on that person's twitter and tell them what they deserve, link:  https://twitter.com/chrislarsensf

Funny imagination, so why don't you try to think that bitcoin has value and attack altcoins Smiley , in fact there is no worthy opponent in the crypto space, or rather we often compare bitcoin with gold, stocks,... This incident just wants to attract attention from people who want to do something.

I see that in the crypto space, not only XRP but also many products want to prove themselves and criticize bitcoin, but they are just a small drop in the glass.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How old would you be by 2140? on: March 21, 2024, 02:30:08 AM
2140?

I'm not sure what we're thinking, but most of the people here are >100 years old and even >200 years old, but ironically we don't have enough longevity to see everything happen. It's like how the kings of the past thought about their current lives, vaguely, but always wished everything well in the future.

Because I have had some memorable experiences with bitcoin, I am sure that I will always be ready to buy bitcoin when I have free money, at this stage the excitement of growth brings excitement. There are many stories that are repeated as well as talked about bitcoin.
