321  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: May 28, 2020, 11:17:45 AM
I remember my first payment from my team in 2018 was made in bitcoins for a python project...
By the way...As far as I know there are already some companies paying with bitcoins in China and these are not even remote jobs since you physically go to the company. Since bitcoin price is a little unstable some people prefer to receive the payment in fiat and old fashion way. But in my own idea, soon, most of the companies will pay their own employees with crypto currencies.

We may see some changes in coming time as many thing after Covid is done things may change and so quite possible that some of the companies may switch to consultant instead of having full time employees and the payment could be done in the crypto currencies in some countries or to some people. We need to have more and more companies to start promoting this payment mode.

323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you handle losses in trading? on: May 28, 2020, 06:13:05 AM
I had set some rules before trading so I know how much I can loose it or have capacity. Also I have a stop loss always set so that even it triggers it is a limited loss . In trading , one always can’t make money and you will incur losses as well and should be ready for it .
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 04:32:21 PM
And don't keep a tab of your loses. The coins you lost are gone, don't pressure your gambling habits including them in your gambling balance sheets. The coins you lost in 2013 are not equal to the same coins now. Don't keep on looking your past bets but come to your base bet. When you gamble, make a bankroll according to your bankroll and never exceed it. Even if you have money, you need to stop your martingale if it goes above your gambling budget.

I think that having the balance sheet of profit and loss in gambling is necessary unless you are just occasionally gambling and that too was just for pure fun. Then it is fine as once a while you gamble and for fun, so you are always in a limit. But if it is regularly and also to make money out of it, one should know the status every month end if you are more on the losing side or making any profit as well and accordingly need to take further steps. Also have seen people after they are realizing their losses once they keep a track, they decide to quit from gambling daily.

325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 27, 2020, 04:24:20 PM
Fees are still high.  I don’t think bitcoin is only for early miners who have a lot of bitcoins, and for rich people’s who have a lot of money they both can pay as High fees he wants. We have to focus on whole users wich don’t have *million of bitcoins and can’t handle such a high fees.

Why are the fees relatively high now? It boils down to the dynamics of supply and demand of block space available in the Bitcoin network. According to BitInfoCharts data, since halving has occurred, miners are mining at a much slower pace. Fewer blocks per day means lower supply of block space per day. Lower supply and constant or higher demand mean higher prices.

Yes, near the halving days the fees went up very high and at times I need to think trice to even sent or could not afford it to be sent because for the smaller amount to be transferred the fees are higher then what even I am transferring. Hopefully sooner we have the transaction fees reduced significantly and be back to normal.

326  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is becoming legal in my country! Any business idea? on: May 27, 2020, 11:34:18 AM
This is good news that your country has accepted the crypto and finally all the citizens can now trade and invest and use the crypto in their daily life’s. One of the options is that you can partner with some shops and if they are ready to accept the crypto you can take commissions either from shop or the buyer/seller. Another thing you can act as the middleman by accepting the crypto and making the making payment via cash or card and keep the btc or other coins with you and buyer may be ready to pay something extra if anyone is ready to accept the crypto instead of cash or card. If you think crypto values in future will be rising you will make a good money with those cryptos or sell it on highs in short term.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: May 27, 2020, 11:30:07 AM
Those who don't do well in trading while chasing the goal which doesn't seem to reachable are always had to happily make an investment in bitcoin because it is an only possible way to cover all losses which has caused during the trading, which can replace with profit by holding bitcoin for a long period of time.
If you keep failing in a trading method it doesn't mean you have to completely skip trading, you can try to switch your trading method like day trading into mid or short term but for doing this you need to have enough capital that's why its always better to start trading with very low amount from your total capital investments on cryptos.

Trading is not every job as it involves a high risk which not many of them can take it. Another thing is that people generally without knowing in what they trade or having nay skillset or any idea about the market situation start trading based on third party or anyone’s recommendation and this result in the losses for them. It is very important to know our self in what we trade and the entry and exit points if we need to make profits from it.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 27, 2020, 06:13:16 AM
I guess they can't stand how boring it is in the house for a month(s) staying while doing the very unusual thing repeatedly for days.
It should be boring days, staying at home all time and can't go anywhere. Moreover, for people who often visit physical casinos. But we have no choices, staying at home is the best way to prevent Covid-19 spreads. Also, almost all physical casinos are closed temporarily. However, we must deal with this situation and be aware of the most priority thing. Just be patient and do everything at home!

This is uncertain times and no one was prepared for it . We have to face the situation and come as a winner. It is also time for us to do many new things which we never did and enjoy that and also learn new skills and develop some new hobbies or to find out our hidden talent . This will help us keep busy and time will fly quickly .
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: May 27, 2020, 05:51:15 AM
Though this pandemic affected the world economy since majority of the business population has paralyzed, still there is a chance on the side of investors to earn some profit for long term investment. I'm telling because the stock market dropped and this is the perfect time  to invest.

Under lowdown majorly all business are shut and due to which billions of dollars of businesses are impacted across the world . Share market had taken a huge beating in all countries and people who had invested before has lost their capital unless they continue to hold it for future . Vaccine could now solve all this problem and also we the better it is .
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: May 26, 2020, 03:55:39 PM
The majority of us suffer a loss when entering crypto trading, Because we are still a newbie in trading we don't know everything yet, until now even I have several years of experience in crypto I still consider myself a newbie. There is no wrong or right prediction in trading, I guess it is really unpredictable sometimes, Green and Red markets happen we can't avoid it, But most of the traders that have knowledge about charts, indicators and stuff minimize those risk of losing If they are lucky they can maximize the market into their favor.

For newbie trading is never meant for them. Initially for some time one has to understand what it is about and how to trade. Watch videos and read books. Do some demo and start with small amount which you can afford to lose it. Also investing initially would be better than directly trading it. But once you get those trading skills you can make good money in both side of the markets.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 26, 2020, 03:53:13 PM
You really can't stop gamblers, gambling is like smoking and drinking they have an itch that they cannot get over with and these gambling casinos knows all about it, and there's a possibility that they are secretly holding gambling sessions, they can bride the police so they can go on with their business, they will not stop making a profit from gamblers, it's a give and takes between them.

Considering this pandemic situation in order of safety it is essential to understand that putting the life on risk would not be the real outcome one would like to have it. Also, I guess only addicted ones would be going or would like to go to gamble rest of them can manage even without gambling for a while if they are not used to this online gambling.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: May 26, 2020, 10:59:46 AM
If you have really good gambling skills, then you probably will already have a certain bankroll.
However, if you need funds, then you probably lost somewhere, which means your skills are not as good as you think.
As a result, you can fall into a debt trap from which you can get out a very long time.

I would also not recommend it because certainly if people do not have bankroll if they did have previously then it means they have lost it. And also, anything should be limit and should be done with you own money in gambling because sometimes luck may not be that good to make you win. Though skills is also required, but even at times luck does play some role to make you win. So instead of falling in more debt trap better to stay away from it.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 26, 2020, 10:50:21 AM
There's already a thread that do talks about this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2154998.0
Yes it's somehow related but do you think all people alone have problems? For me I don't think so, most of the time I am alone but luckily I don't have problem on that time Cheesy

If people do it to escape the problem, then unfortunately they are inviting a bigger problem as per me. I enjoy the game as it is meant to be taken that way and do not play for winning or to make it as a source of money. Also, problems do not get resolve by gambling, it gets resolved by discussing and thinking how to move ahead and ensure it does not happen again.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 26, 2020, 05:44:26 AM
Lockdown and quarantine has caused financial crisis to most people especially in Africa where most of the people fall within lower and middle income. These people survive on their daily earnings hence once they skip that daily business means no food on the table. Governments have to supply some of these people with food. Example is what is happening in Ghana.

Across the world due to lockdown the economic activity has taken hit and due to which many industries have started to remove the workforce to an extent. This is causing a huge problem to worker as they do not have any job now. Also, daily wage earner could not even get the food to eat due to financial constraint.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 26, 2020, 04:58:11 AM
How are we doing all? Any major update of cricket to be in the ground soon in anywhere? There are some football already back in Europe and some are on the way.

Sorry lately I am not much into cricket discussion since for me there are not much to discuss until we have some real cricket. Life without cricket is boring to be honest.

Rightly said that without cricket I feel that I am missing something. And also, the major thing is that currently it is the time of the IPL and all teams fighting to reach top 4 positions and we see some extraordinary cricket. All this is missing and much more as well.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Crisis Will Come on: May 25, 2020, 03:10:29 PM
Financial crisis is always happening not only in our economic but also in every poor family. We can't avoid the crisis, the important is we should always ready if this time comes and if ever it will happen to us in a near future ,much better to invest now in different investment specially in cryptocurrency. Anyway ,i am not afraid the financial crisis because we can make a solution to overcome it.

We need to have the backup plan always read and with us contingency amount so tht if required it can be used and there would be no issues faced. Also have the diversification in the investment so that you can keep earning from multiple sources and even if one is in negative returns other may be positive.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Limited participants is the best option for bounty campaigns this days on: May 25, 2020, 03:07:15 PM
I strongly agree with the participant limit system, so that every participant who participates in the bounty will get a prize that is commensurate with his hard work. And I see a number of bounty managers already doing this, for example like the project I'm in now.

I think in coming time this is going to happen and just like the btc campaign we will have the bounty campaign with the limited number of enrolments and with selected participants. Also they may come up with combine of their coins and with btc as currently mostly they pay with their own coin and does not much value if they do not get list well.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 25, 2020, 11:51:08 AM
No hurry. Sometimes it's better to wait. Waiting often pays off.

This has hold true for me as initially I used to be a panic seller and the result was, I had to end up in loss every time. But slowly and steadily I understood it and according to the short- and long-term goals I invest and sell when required. So now I do not have to sell in panic times and sooner the market at times even re-bounces and gives the advantage to the holders of the coin.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth. When!? on: May 25, 2020, 11:47:32 AM
1. The current ETH price is quite high, I will buy ETH when the price falls below $ 180
2. No, the current time is not a good time to buy ethereum.
3,4. Maybe I'll buy ethreum after the halving event.
It's not quite high if you have seen the old price of ethereum when bitcoin at the same level and then it's very cheap for the price of ethereum.

This is the best time consider about the correction is still happening. But it's not the best moment and we must wait a little bit to see the bottom floor.

On dips we should continue buying the coins be it ETH or any other which we think is going to make the greater impact in coming time. As market is volatile so anything that falls one should be ready to gab that opportunity to buy and hold according to the situation. We must be able to hold and also sell once we reach our targets.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: May 25, 2020, 05:51:11 AM
Noise during a match it's like a "must" to have in tv show/live show.
If some of you have already see a live match in a stadium, there is not only the match to see but also listening the chorus, people that scream, players etc etc etc. So it could be and idea add this during broadcast hopefully this will not be the same as Vuvuzela  Grin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnkKISn-DvQ sound  Roll Eyes
[During 2010 Fifa World Cup there was this annoying sound in any match and there was a discussion about how to cover this during live show...]
I never go to the stadium, but I heard that the experience is exciting, and makes people forget about everything and only focus on watching the match. But in this pandemic, maybe we will miss that "sound" surrounding the stadium because I think the event will use social distancing to prevent the virus spreads. But I think that event without the audience will be temporary, and after the pandemic is gone, everything will be normal again. Maybe we will see a new normalisation that will happen in all countries.

Live audience is something that motivates many players and their best comes out more when players see them cheering the team and players. We are going through some tough time and the decision of having the virtual fans and crowd noise is really good idea and for the time being it is going to work and also will boost players to some extent rather than having nothing.
