From the pools webpage

My payout:

       Payment Information
Your account is currently being paid every 12 hours.
Current PPS Rate   0.0000000005351308

Last Payout Time   2015-03-22 00:13:26

And the pools queue blocks:

Our combined oustanding balance in queue to be paid is 115.34408460 Bitcoin.
There are 0 mined blocks waiting to mature, totalling 0 Bitcoin

Right after posting this I got a PARTIAL payment ( after waiting 64 hours) which only covered the BTC that was due BEFORE the last difficulty change a few days ago. And now the new pool queue blocks are:

Our combined oustanding balance in queue to be paid is 90.38442636 Bitcoin.
There are 0 mined blocks waiting to mature, totalling 0 Bitcoin

I guess the other 80BTC owners (me included) better hope that another bad luck streak does not happen. But the question still is can the pool ever get ahead without a fee of some kind? And I am asked to leave the pool  because I posted here about late payments?? O Ya they are only a few hours late and it only happened a couple of times  Roll Eyes  It's getting worse

Interestingly, I got paid the current owed today and not the stuff waiting from the previous diff. s0br asked last time I was in irc, if anyone wanted to be paid right then. I'm in no hurry. I've been sad due to four machines not mining for many hours and haven't been on irc since those four went down. Things are alright for me now, fully mining on this pool.

Yes that is interesting as mine was the older due. What you say about the IRC chat is what I hate about it. I spent a some time on BAN IRC chat before mostly just reading what was going on. A couple of times I asked questions but nobody answered or a few that did could not answer because s0br was not there. I did tak to s0br a couple of times and we PM a few times as well. I quit going because I didn't like it and found it not very effective, and I guess if you were not there when the question was asked if you wanted to getaid or not it's my fault?  But why would I think it would be any different that if I questioned my payments there that I would not be asked to just go mine somewhere else as Swimmer63 told me. That hit a raw nerve after all I did to help, try to fix problems and promote this pool.  I will now just try to undo what I have done and make sure anybody that took my advice to mine here is knows my feelings about the pool as it stands right now.
Sounds like a plan.  Good luck to you.
I sent S0br and email suggesting he take this thread down or update it or something.  I think the pool registrations are locked now anyway.  At least they were a week or so ago.

I agree this thread should be removed all together because it's inaccurate and not maintained.
Beyond that I will no longer comment since apparently I'm the stupid one and "don't get it."

In the past two months I have had to wait twice more than 36 hours for payment.

Opps I wonder if you counted today in your equation? Or does some get paid and others don't??

No, I was not counting yesterday.  But I got paid last night.
If this pool is making you so upset, just leave.  Why put yourself through it?  There are 20 other pools out there.
This is what I don't understand about all the complainers.  Payments have been late for months.  You clearly are not going to get paid on time,
yet you seem shocked when it's late.
326  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: March 23, 2015, 08:19:03 PM

Late payouts can occur when this pool is catching up from an unlucky block. This has been made pretty clear and we all understand the risks but so far, s0br has made good - sometimes with extra for inconvenience so we stick it out because the pool pays better than any other and waiting a few hours every once in awhile to get that is something that may of us are willing to risk

This has been made pretty clear

When and where has s0br made this clear?

waiting a few hours every once in awhile

It's been days waiting at times and I would say it's more than "once in awhile"

This thread would be better off if everyone would just keep it real and truthful

I have mined this pool consistently for many months.
S0br and other admins have made it clear on irc that payments won't happen until blocks mature.  So if you pay attention you already know this.
In the past two months I have had to wait twice more than 36 hours for payment.  Both were paid right around 48 hours since the prior payment.
To me, that is "once in a while."

This thread would be better if:
BAN miners who complain would go mine somewhere else.  If you don't like what is offered, for free I might add, then vote with your hashrate and support another pool.
Non-BAN miners got a life and spent their time trolling this thread volunteering for a non-profit.
327  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: March 23, 2015, 08:06:09 PM
..I'd nearly give a 100% donation for a week to help go towards clearing the backlog.

What a crock of shit. Are you s0br in disguise?

So, you went from mining at one of the most reliable, trustworthy & well maintained pools for over a year to mining at BAN because .......why? Let me guess, were you coaxed here by the:

Lure of a 10% bonus on earnings as stated on the thread page? No. Because it's a fabrication of course.

Maybe you prefer the constantly late payments?

Or maybe you like the complete lack of support/info/posts here by the OP?

Or was it that you didn't like the honesty of Eleuthria & much prefer a pool that is run by a proven scammer?

I see you have a Bitcoin Marketing Team in your sig - is this yours? Remind me not to hire you for any advice on BTC  Roll Eyes Cheesy Cheesy

Another new Troll account.  Just hit "ignore"
328  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]419$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: March 23, 2015, 08:01:17 PM
My miners have been down at the NeiMeng site for over 12 hours.  Put in a support ticket but have not heard anything.
Anyone else having a similar problem?

Can you post what you see in the miner monitor offline history for the 23 and 24th, along with how many machines are down to see if you were also affected at 9:30pm their time?

It'll be going on six hours since the first reported time down in several minutes, no idea if that's correct though.

EDIT: That can't be done now, the monitor site has an error. The original section miners are still going.
EDIT2: Miner Monitor site working again. I now show 13 offline hours for tomorrow, but I think it should say 14, maybe it will catch up in another half and hour.

Mine is reporting 2 and 3 hours (for one miner) (It's been over 10 hours)

NeiMeng-1   2015   3   24   3
NeiMeng-1   2015   3   23   2

I am getting similar incorrect numbers for 6 miners at that site:

NeiMeng-1   2015   3   24   24
NeiMeng-1   2015   3   23   16

These have been down at least 10 hours and it's reporting 6.6 hours per miner.

Why do you mine on a pool that's so unreliable when it comes to paying out? Aren't you afraid the pool operator will run with all your coins? It wouldn't be the first time it happened and it won't be the last time it happened. I guess there's a sucker born every minute.

It's a risk I accept and have my reasons.  But yes, it is a risk.
331  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]419$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: March 19, 2015, 07:19:49 PM
bitmain price went down to 340$

I wonder if they are still being attacked now. Anyways, for the US they are charging shipping. So with UPS(cheapest choice), the total is 387.468 USD.
I can only get their banner on their site.
332  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AMT miners and Joshua Zipkin on: March 16, 2015, 11:58:40 PM
Alot of people here did. He is actually from the Haverford area. He has no intentions of operating in the US again by his own words. But he certainly is trying to start other businesses. For all of us who were victimized by this asshole (11.5k here) it sucks. For those in the future miners you can learn from this a cautionary tale. Do your research on the vendors. If you cant find a name behind the company, stay away. Alternately if you cant get consistently good feedback about a vendor, stay away. Right now there are few vendors. BITMAINTech  and Spondoolies-tech are really the only two beginner friendly mining companies out there. There are other solidly reputable companies but IMO these top the list.

Only advice I can give to anyone here reading this. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!

That is the key. RESEARCH.

It really doesn't take a lot of poking around here in bitcointalk hardware to narrow down your choices of hardware.

Then again at this point no one should be spending a few thousand on mining hardware. There is no upside to mining under the Petahash range.

At this point home or small mining is dead and people should avoid it at all costs. Potentially owning BTC by purchasing it and holding it seems to be a good gamble but again only if you are willing to lose it all. NEVER invest in Bitcoin be it coins or mining if you are not able to lose your entire investment. Many people have lost as a result of AMT and other equally shady outfits in hardware, cloud-mining, exchanges and pools.

While I would not start mining now from scratch, there are plenty of people still making a profit from mining well under a petahash.
You have to be smart about it and recognize that profits will be small.  So do it for the love of hardware, as a hobby and to support the network.

Paid! Fat and happy. I love getting compensated based on shares with minimal fees. Only because I choose to contribute. Best pool available. Even with its kinks.

@ s0br: Stop being a chicken sh*t & answer the questions like you keep saying you will, or stay the proven scammer you are.

Count me in on this too - it's about time s0br posted some explanations like he said he would.

Why so quiet s0br?  Answer the damn questions already. Man up FFS.

He doesn't spend any time in the forums but I talk to him every day on freenode and he is readily accessible.. I can't speak for the past since I have only been with him a couple of months, nor do I understand the history and pure hatred some have toward him... However I can say without a doubt he is a solid pool operator and is a stand up guy, addressing any issues I've had personally...

I'm assuming they are associated with people who run other pools and are trying to tank BAN
I think they are just sad, mildly disturbed people with no friends, begging for someone to engage with. I'm sure there are other, therapeutic forums for them.

hey you hit  a block on this pool today cool.
I know! Crazy!  For all the mining I have done it's only my second block. I have definitely benefited from pools.

@ s0br: Stop being a chicken sh*t & answer the questions like you keep saying you will, or stay the proven scammer you are.

Do you mine on BAN?  Are you owed money/btc?  If not, is your life so empty that you have appointed yourself some sad watchdog for us?  Move along and waste your time elsewhere.

S0br promised answers on his scam thread, was unable to do so, then ran off into hiding for 2 months.

S0br then opens this thread, promises answers, then goes silent again.

I believe that entitles anyone to ask him why - especially here on his own "transparent support" thread.

..Really? (that's an awkward name!) is perfectly right to ask questions here, as is anyone else. If you are so upset about it - tell s0br to keep his promises & answer him or anyone else - simple isn't it?  Wink

Entitles.  There is the word I was searching for.  So you all see yourselves as entitled to stick you nose in where you have no economic interest.
This weekend could set a record for ignored usernames.

BE100 - Major success
BE200 - Failure
BE300S - Better than anything currently available

Only if you ignore the latest Bitfury chip that can do 0.2W/GH.

Yes and current Bitmain chips can do 0.25W/GH

And even if we don't know Spondoolies has an excelent record on very efficient Chips

Again if the document is legit is a Game Over from ASICminer.

Juan

And given that SP-Tech has no inventory, it's safe to assume some new chips are on the way.

I have all of my miners here and have never been shorted by BAN (Gil).  The opposite actually.  In addition to earning an additional 10% for months, 1% now, he has made up for some late payments with significant extra coin.
There are technical issues now and sometimes I go nuts waiting for payment, but I certainly have not been shorted.
