3321  Other / Archival / Re: KFC Canada accepts bitcoin on: January 12, 2018, 07:38:30 PM
LOL I wonder how some one will pay for one burger and pay fee in bitcoins. Fee will be like 100 burgers price lol.
In addition, that the commission will be as a hundred hamburgers, and wait for confirmation of the transaction will take several days. How can it be possible on such terms to pay for small-value purchases in bitcoin?
However, it should be recognized that Canada is a very friendly country in relation to the crypto currency and especially the mining of bitcoin, providing its territory for foreign miners.
3322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Harvard Professors Predict Bitcoin Collapse Due to Government Regulation on: January 09, 2018, 08:31:42 PM
This opinion is too exaggerated. Bitcoin can not fail because of state regulation. Even the conducted case with its regulation in China proves nothing. There, bitcoin population continues to use, people through the Internet solve all their problems, and bitcoin continues to walk in this country. In addition, the government of China has not yet determined the final policy regarding the crypto currency and its measures are contradictory. Perhaps, it will be convinced of the hopelessness of the measures taken and let the crypto currency in free circulation.
3323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Bitcoin stable ? on: January 09, 2018, 08:15:38 PM
Bitcoin is very unstable in nature. Such instability, when it rises sharply in price, is also sharply lowered by 40 percent of its value, as it was last December, and will continue in the future. It's hard to even say whether its volatility will decrease when all 21 million bitcoins are mined. Therefore, Most likely, bitcoin should be perceived as it is and just do not panic when it also sharply drop in price next time.
3324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: January 09, 2018, 08:03:51 PM
Interest in bitcoin really continues to grow, and this has its positive and negative sides. People's interest in bitcoin is growing, which leads to greater investment in it. From increasing demand for it, bitcoin continues to grow in value and new people are interested in the opportunity to get a good profit and continue to invest their money in it. The next round of bitcoin price growth occurs. Thus, in fact, bitcoin is inflated as a financial bubble and the possibility that it may burst. Such a trend strongly affects the lowering of the credibility of both bitcoins and crypto-currencies in general.
3325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: January 09, 2018, 07:47:54 PM
Whether bitcoin will be replaced as the leader of the crypto currency by another, more successful coin, depends on the team that supports it. If the shortcomings and vulnerabilities of bitcoin will be eliminated on time, it is likely that it will remain the number one crypto currency for a long time. If he does not do this, and as he does now, he will accumulate his shortcomings, then he will not be able to hold on to the leaders for a long time due to his former popularity and will be replaced by a more successful coin.
3326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE VS Ethereum on: January 06, 2018, 07:58:24 AM
Ripple can not compare with ethereum in the long term. Growth ripple is temporary and after a while it will go down, as it is pumped up by various financial structures. Ethereum is more stable, it performs extensive necessary and useful functions and no ripple it with the altcoin leader will fail.
3327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Money on: January 06, 2018, 07:41:56 AM
It's silly to argue that a crypto currency can change the system of social order. It can largely squeeze ordinary money from circulation, and no more. The usual money went and will go as long as there are states that print them. The banking system in the near and distant future will also exist as a financial instrument of the state. The change of all this due to the development of the crypto currency is a myth. States allow the existence of a crypto currency, until it affects their interests. As soon as a serious conflict begins between them, the states unite and the crypto-currency will be outlawed under the fear of criminal liability for engaging in it. This activity is difficult to track on the Internet, but all this depends on the desire of the state, which has extensive methods of coercion.
3328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: a wallet for tokens? on: January 06, 2018, 07:24:06 AM
MyEtherWallet wallet, in my opinion, is the best for storing tokens. The numeric key code is large enough and complex and can not be selected. The purse can be entered from any device, it has no binding to either E-mail, or phone number, or to anything else. This is very important in cases when a phone, a laptop and so on are stolen.
3329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens next with Atlcoin? on: January 06, 2018, 07:15:02 AM
I hope that it is the altcoins this year that will develop well and grow in price. Whatever bitcoin was not good, but most crypto currencies are exactly the altcoyins and they help people in specific areas of our activity. If bitcoin continues to break away from the altcoins in price, this will fix the bubble status for bitcoin, which will lower the overall image of the crypto currency.
3330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin anonymous? on: January 03, 2018, 09:43:25 PM
Bitcoin can be considered only relatively anonymous. Yes, it is difficult to calculate the data of the holder of the bitcoin purse, but to say that it is impossible to do this is also impossible. Since in the open book blockchein, which is available for public viewing, you can trace which coins are contained in the wallet, completely the history of their transactions with the purse addresses, where these coins came from and where they left, their amount, balance and so on, according to these signs, if you go for a long time on the trail, in the end you can calculate its owner. These defects of anonymity are deprived of some clones of bitcoin, in which these data are hidden.
3331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Lightning Network Guaranteed to be released this year? on: January 03, 2018, 09:33:01 PM
The bad news is that the lightning network has suggested Bitrefill to be deployed in Bitcoin, and not the Bitcoin development team. Therefore, it is difficult to guess when this network can be introduced into bitcoin in practice. Although earlier wrote that this can happen already at the beginning of this year.
3332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: January 03, 2018, 09:26:13 PM
The mass media do not always speak ill of bitcoin. A lot of negative things began to talk about bitcoin, namely, that it is a bloated bubble, which will soon burst, after it began to grow rapidly in price in December and reached a mark of 20,000 dollars. Such a rapid growth, few expected despite the most optimistic forecasts. This is what gave rise to talk about bitcoin as a bubble. In addition, such conversations were not entirely groundless, because bitcoin grew only due to speculative aspirations of people trying to make profit by increasing its growth.
3333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin rise? on: January 03, 2018, 09:14:37 PM
To beatcoin again quickly rise in price, he needs to solve the problem of slowness and high transaction costs. Given these unresolved problems, many now began investing in altcoyins, which began to grow in value, while bitcoin is practically stagnant, having risen relatively insignificantly over the past two weeks.
3334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes Magazine calls Bitcoin a "Great Scam" on: December 30, 2017, 03:35:11 PM
Bitcoin because of its high price, which is based only on the speculative speculative demand for it, can be called a financial bubble, but not fraud. In bitcoin, there is no deception, so there is no fraud here. Bitcoin is based on real advanced technologies, it is a really existing digital currency, which is recognized as a measure of value and means of payment by many countries.
3335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Successfull test ot Lighning for Bitcoin on: December 30, 2017, 03:17:32 PM
I read a few weeks ago about a successful lightning network test for introduction into bitcoin. Today again I read about the successful conduct of such a test. But bitcoin continues to lose its popularity. This improvement of bitcoin, which eliminates its main drawbacks, needs to be introduced into bitcoin as quickly as possible, otherwise people will be disappointed in it completely.
3336  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you knew Bitcoin would never change in value, would you buy it? on: December 30, 2017, 02:59:34 PM
Indeed, this is a very interesting and timely question. I am sure that most people would not buy bitcoin if they knew that it would not increase in price and they would not receive income from raising its rate. Demand for bitcoin would then fall sharply. What would happen with bitkoynom then? The answer is obvious: it would fall sharply in price. This indicates that as soon as bitcoin ceases to grow, due to a drop in demand for it, it will quickly lose its value. Moreover, the inflated value of the bubble and drop to the real value. I do not even want to predict how low it can be.
Unlike bitcoin, with altcoyins, things are much better. They were mainly created to facilitate our life in a particular industry and have their own real value.
3337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: December 30, 2017, 02:38:37 PM
If in November bitkoin still felt quite good, now he is really rather dead than alive. Its extreme slowness and high transaction costs make it very sick and almost unusable. Let's see if it can be cured with a network of lightning, which should rid the bitcoin of these shortcomings. If this does not happen, people will have to switch to using other types of crypto currency, including bitcoin in cash, which was recently scolded. Therefore, we need bitas of bitcoin, if only to make them compete with the original bitcoin.
3338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have NEVER seen Bitcoin in such a sorry state as this!! on: December 30, 2017, 10:26:36 AM
Even in this forum there is a sharp change in attitude towards bitcoin. If a month ago it was zealously defended by more than 90 percent of members of the forum, now the number of its supporters has diminished noticeably and bitcoin already scolds cash and even openly they are interested in it as a possible alternative to the original bitcoin. It really became very slow, and commissions for transactions in recent years are off scale. If the lightning network does not help bitcoin in the near future, then its inglorious end awaits.
3339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will bitcoin start rising? Will ripple rule the market in the future? on: December 29, 2017, 09:21:03 PM
I was completely shocked today to see ripple briefly overtaking ethereum (marketcap)!  I am scared to see bitcoin becoming the next victim in the future. Now, when do u think bitcoins to start increasing given the fact that the  popularity of ethereum and ripple is also increasing? do u think investors would be as keen to invest in bitcoins as we have seen in 2017?

Thanks for your answers Smiley
Yes me too! I was too surprised after seeing the market for Ripple hit the 2 USD mark. Dam I mean thats cool for any coin to hit the 10X rates in such short period of time and more than that whats important is, it is being done naturally. There is no artificial pump and neither there is any bad legacy behind it! The 24 hour volume is almost 2-3 billion dollars for the XRP, and it is more or less similar to ETH only. This is really dangerous thing for the ETH coin and amazing thing for the XRP market itself.

Though XRP is getting into hearts of investors but I don't think it will cross the BTC market itself. It is huge and more than enough to keep the #1 place all the time. I agree on the XRP market completely, its best and it can move further than what we are seeing right now but it will take huge efforts for it to reach the BTC prices.
The reasons for the growth of the ripple rate consisted first of all that 61 large world banks united to use this coin within the banking system for making instant transfers of payments around the world, and now information has been received that Japanese and South Korean financial institutions are considering the possibility of using its technology for their needs.
3340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin on: December 29, 2017, 09:06:24 PM
Now the bitcoin rate is then falling within a thousand dollars, it rises with the general trend a bit to increase. Apparently, in this state he will wait for New Year's and Christmas holidays and only after that his further growth is possible. Now we need to choose the right moment when bitcoin descends in price and buy it, because it can be too late, it will again grow in price.
