3001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: July 26, 2018, 07:12:52 PM
It is still too early to talk about this, but such a scenario is possible. This can happen if bitcoin itself is not improved, and it will increasingly be used as a means of accumulating value, and not as a means of payment, that is, as digital money. In this case, bitcoin will grow in price and then periodically and deeply fall, which can cause a negative reaction and distrust towards it.
3002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How we can stop scam ICOs lanching? on: July 26, 2018, 06:52:37 PM
I think we should protect to issue scam ICOs in the crypto market. It creates misconception between new user and about market. What you think?
We can not stop the fraudulent ICO projects. They are entitled to be conducted by any persons and unhindered. We can only help publicize such facts and bring them this way to the attention of law enforcement bodies, so that they take appropriate measures. It remains to be hoped that in the near future, states will begin to regulate the ICO process and this regulation will exclude fraud in this kind of activity.
3003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How well does Bitcoin function as a currency? on: July 23, 2018, 07:58:25 PM
It will take some more time before btc is recognized a real currency. As of now, it's just a store of value, which is totally fine. I don't mind btc being recognized as only a store or value..just look at gold.
It seems that bitcoin will remain a store for storing valuables. Its use as a digital currency is very limited and this is the biggest problem for bitcoin, since it separates it from other crypto currencies, it will gradually lose the quality of a digital currency. As soon as this happens, it will lose value, and with it the value store will turn into a store of unnecessary relics.
3004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will other countries take advantage of China's ban on ICOs? on: July 23, 2018, 07:46:58 PM
States will not react in any way to the ban of ICO in China. This process is still little regulated by the states. In addition, States or their bodies do not themselves participate in the ICO programs themselves. The citizens will react to this ban, and first of all the citizens of China. To participate in ICO projects, they will bypass the ban in various ways. On the other hand, to organize the ICO, they will be registered in other countries - Singapore, Kongong, South Korea and others.
3005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know that they managed Bitcoin? on: July 23, 2018, 07:32:23 PM
In the crypto currency market, there will always be individuals or groups of such individuals who will be able to manipulate the price of bitcoins and other crypto currencies through various joint actions. I think that about such manipulation of the price of bitcoin occurred in December last year, when bitcoin very unexpectedly rose in its price to $ 20,000.
3006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Hodl is most overrated term used in crpyto on: July 22, 2018, 07:10:24 AM
"Hodl" is word used to much in crypto space but i think hodl can be dangerous for newbies mostly they will be shilled and hodl a shitcoin or hodl a solid coin for too long and wouldn't sell when time was right you will end up like me as there was time when i could buy tesla now i can only buy honda.
At the same time, buying and simply keeping coins and tokens can save newcomers from ill-considered actions. However, in general, simply retaining coins becomes meaningless, especially with respect to old coins, which are no longer so rapidly growing in value. At the same time for fresh coins with a good prospect of growth, this tactic still remains relevant.
3007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: July 22, 2018, 06:38:20 AM
i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys
If you convert your bitcoins into ethereum, it will not be a big mistake and you can also win in the profit from such a decision. Although bitcoin still continues to dominate the price of all the crypto currency, ethereum may increase in price, especially if it soon introduces the Plasma project, which will allow this coin to have a scalability of hundreds of thousands of transactions per second instead of the current fifteen.
3008  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India May Levy 18 Percent Tax on Cryptocurrency Trading Starting July 2018 on: July 22, 2018, 06:26:22 AM
India, the world’s second-largest country by population, may soon give a glimmer of hope to cryptocurrency investors after months of propagating a negative agenda against the digital asset class.(taken from https://www.ccn.com/india-may-levy-18-percent-tax-on-cryptocurrency-trading-starting-july-2018/)

For Indian bitcoin traders out there, this will surely be negative news but it also means that bitcoin is being legitimized. What do you think about this and how will you prepare for it?
I think that 18 percent of the tax on income from the crypto currency is a normal tax rate. In Japan, it rises in some categories above 50 percent and nothing. Everything works, taxes are paid, for incomplete last year it gave about 0.3 percent to the gross income of the country. So this is good news for India. The main thing is that the crypto currency can be legalized, because in this country the government and especially the banks are very distrustful of the crypto currency.
3009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not expect something from ICOs till btc to FLY on: July 21, 2018, 01:31:56 PM
Today we can see a lot of ICO struggling for financing, some of them even canceling or delaying. A lot of old Altcoin have seen bottom , new ones even under ico price.
When we look at the history of ICOs we notice  they start collecting money like 2016 they rise till the end of 2017 and falling in 2018 just like the btc. It is obvious they follow btc wave. So do not expect too much things from ICOs, tokens, altcoins. There is likely more than a year for  btc  to gather strength, same for ICOs.

My opinion is that tokens and coins need to leave out of the influence of bitcoin. This is not a serious situation. I think that the problem is, too high a bitcoin price. It is not clear to me how one can talk about decentralization, if the whole market can be managed through the price of bitcoins. There is not so much coins that do not fall under its influence.
This is absolutely true. We must avoid the hard price dominance of bitcoin. This can be done only when the capitalization of bitcoin has fallen and will not be so different from the others. The coins are decentralized, but there is no free market. This is very bad. The bitcoin has turned into a monster that tortures all the crypto currency.
3010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: July 21, 2018, 08:05:38 AM
Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.
No, I do not think that ICO projects are a waste of time. Although there are many fraudulent projects among them, however there are also many normal and quite promising ones. However, working in bonus programs has become noticeably more difficult, increasingly they are either fraud, or simply can not even collect a minimum amount. In many respects, the general fall of the crypto-currency market is guilty of this.
3011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All Airdrops and Bounty campaigns are a scam on: July 21, 2018, 07:48:15 AM
While we are still working with ICO bonus programs. While practically everyone in this forum participates in signature programs for specific ICO projects, which means that they all consider them to be quite normal, and not fraudulent. Although some of them vseravno will be fraud. However, there's nothing you can do about it. Until the states begin to regulate the ICO process, until then the situation with fraud in the ICO will not change for the better.
3012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is bounty programs to the overall success of icos? on: July 21, 2018, 06:46:12 AM
Is bounty programs impacting negatively or positively to the success of icos?
If we proceed from the opposite, then if not for the generosity programs that advertise a specific ICO project, then no one would know about ICO and the project would remain without investors. Therefore, I believe that the signature programs and other ICO generosity programs are very useful for the ICO project, since they provide the ICO team with the necessary funds. It should be borne in mind that various types of generosity programs ICO only draw the attention of potential investors to the advertised ICO project, and whether the investor will invest their money in this project or not depends on the project itself.
3013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BTC is not adapted into business?? on: July 20, 2018, 08:54:45 PM
I always wondered what is the problem for BTC to be finally adopted in the wide range of business, I was expecting at least a great adaption in the online business but even so, what stops business from adapting BTC, the volatility? The low rates of adoption? Or maybe a lack of propaganda? BTC is so great and I really wish I could use it in more places IRL!
Of course, one of the main obstacles to the introduction of bitcoin into business is its high volatility. Transactions in business from their conclusion to implementation are not conducted in one day. And during this time, bitcoin can dramatically change in price and one of the parties will already be unhappy with this deal.
In addition, for the introduction of bitcoin into business, it is necessary to completely legalize crypto currency by the states. Without this, there will be constant problems with the tax authorities.
3014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your reaction to recent pump and then dump on: July 20, 2018, 08:43:02 PM
This is getting frustrating. I thought that we are now going to the moon because BTC surpassed $7000 resistance level and we saw that most altcoins follow. I bought ETH for $513 then now it is getting dump where the current price is $470. in just 12 hours, i lost $43. What is your reaction and strategy when altcoin gets pump?
It would be better to have such price splashes than monotonous finding of bitcoin on the price day. Such bursts remind us that bitcoin is capable of good price jerks and that the time will come and it will grow well in price. For now, we just need to wait for such good days to come.
3015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dying Myth of long term holds??? on: July 20, 2018, 08:29:15 PM
When we look at such long-term falls in the crypto-currency market, and besides, we see that the fall and rise of the market is cyclical, it becomes clear that investing for a long-term perspective will not always bring a good profit. If you are not a good day trader, then the best option will be the periodic sale of coins, when they clearly grew in price and their purchase at significant price falls.
3016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin go below 6K? on: July 20, 2018, 08:13:13 PM
After a six-montn fall of bitcoin and other crypto-currencies at a price point, it is unlikely that bitcoin will fall in its value even below $ 6,000. In my opinion this is no longer realistic. The lowest peak of bitcoin prices we have already passed. Now we all expect only the rise of the crypto-currency market, even if it happens even a little later - in a few weeks or months.
3017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: July 20, 2018, 07:48:21 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
If you are new to crypto currency, it is better not to start with investing in ICO projects. This activity is very risky for those who have long been engaged in crypto currency. If funds permit, it is better to invest in bitcoin and ethereum almost in half.
This is the least risky investment in the crypto currency. About ICO projects, you first need to learn a lot before you deal with them.
3018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2018, 09:40:18 PM
Yes, altkoins are very important in the world of crypto currency. They are very diverse in their purpose and functionality. Therefore, some altcoins will rise to the level of bitcoin in the future, and no one can know what will happen next. Altkoins has a great future, because in practice they greatly simplify our life and make it much more comfortable.
3019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 19, 2018, 09:28:20 PM
To earn profit is better in криптовалюте, and to store partially earned it is better in bank. To convince your uncle that bitcoin brings much more profit than any bank gives from deposit investments, it is necessary to show how the bitcoin rate increases yearly. It will be very obvious.
3020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you suppose will happen when BTC loses it's dominance? on: July 19, 2018, 09:16:24 PM
Every week BTC seems to lose it's market dominance. Currently it sits at 34.4 percent but what happens when it becomes 5 percent or less? Thoughts?
The price dominance of bitcoins over other types of crypto currency may decrease if it loses in its capitalization level in comparison with the total capitalization of the remaining crypto-currency. If this happens, then I think that it will be only better, because bitcoin will cease to exert pressure on the formation of prices for other types of crypto currency. Coins and tokens, at last, can freely develop and form their own price policy. The crypto currency market will finally find its maturity.
