2701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoin is good, but don't depent on it. on: January 08, 2019, 05:10:27 PM
One should always remember about significant risks to keep huge amounts in cryptocurrency. I prefer to periodically withdraw my profit from cryptocurrency to regular currency. Although this reduces the amount of profit, but increases the reliability of this activity. We believe in cryptocurrency, but precautions do not interfere.
2702  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-08] European Central Bank Policy Maker Calls Crypto ‘a Fairy-Tale Story on: January 08, 2019, 04:55:50 PM
What else can most bankers say about cryptocurrency? These doubts are expressed every year, and the cryptocurrency continues to evolve. As the saying goes, dogs bark and the caravan moves on.
We expect improvements in ethereum next week, and of course, I want to look at the ETCV, which is separated from ethereum.
2703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: January 07, 2019, 02:33:06 PM
We certainly hope there is good news from ethereum, it can reach a price of 1000 usd of course this is awaited, but of course all it takes time for ethereum to reach its normal price again
takes a long time because the process needed takes time. of course the person who holds Ethereum hopes that the value can go up high because they want great results from Ethereum. Ethereum can definitely go up high but you have to wait patiently because not necessarily when it will rise.
For those who bought ETH at 100$, they are now selling all their ETH to get a profit. Everyone's psychology now won't hold for too long, so my opinion is hard for ETH to go up to 1000$. Or will need to wait 4-5 years for it to be feasible
You correctly noticed that people gain experience and become wiser. The past year 2018 has taught us that the long-term retention of cryptocurrency is not always the best option for profit. They will sell cryptocurrency as soon as it grows well in price. This will apply to Bitcoin. Therefore, we are unlikely to see such a rapid growth of Bitcoin, which was at the end of 2017.
2704  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: January 07, 2019, 02:20:55 PM
We can blame the government why they banned bitcoin to some country because they know how risky is crypto or bitcoin. So I think government wants to protect the people from frauders .
Even in this forum there are conflicting views on the actions of governments to prohibit or restrict the circulation of cryptocurrency within a particular state. And each is right in its own way. This explains the slowness of the implementation of cryptocurrency in our lives. Governments also do not know how to act correctly in relation to cryptocurrency and therefore take various decisions. However, one thing is to prohibit the circulation of cryptocurrency, and another thing is to convince or force people to abandon its use. So far, for example, attempts by the Chinese government, as practice shows, have led to the opposite result. There, even more people became involved in cryptocurrency.
2705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet still work? on: January 07, 2019, 10:24:39 AM
I heard that the wallet MEW may not be used anymore, this information is true. So if the wallet MEW for some reason can not be used then can we use any other wallet?
MyEtherWallet wallets and, in general, hacker attacks are periodically made on this network and sometimes they are successful, and therefore on a certain day we are advised not to enter the wallet using our secret key. I treat this normally, with understanding. Those resources where large sums of money are stored in a cryptocurrency will always be subject to hacker attacks. MyEtherWallet wallet itself is securely protected by a secret key and this is the most important thing. Therefore, the MyEtherWallet wallet is considered to be one of the most reliable and convenient to use.
2706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become currency a new State? on: January 06, 2019, 09:42:55 AM
I think, a lot of us saw Bitcoin like tool for freedom. Now most people look at this like opportunity for enrichment. I don’t think that rich equals freedom. I know a many rich people’s. They are far from freedom.

It is now evident that just cryptocurrencies is not sufficient to achieve the goal. We need a State at our side. But current States seek to preserve the old order.

State it is a community with uniform rules. Territorial principle don’t need for creation of the State in the 21st century. So what do you think what's to stop us to come together and creation a new State now?
Without a certain territory, a state cannot be created. You will always be within the borders of any state, and the promotion of the creation of a new state can be regarded by law enforcement agencies as a violation of the national legislation of the host country. Therefore, in order to fulfill your dream, it is best to buy an island and build your own state there.
2707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is China giving importance to Blockchain? on: January 06, 2019, 09:29:49 AM
China, as an influential state in the world, has grown practically on the use of various technologies, and sometimes simply by copying them, bypassing international copyright law. Therefore, they are now widely using advanced blockchain technology, now investing about six billion dollars in it. In terms of introducing advanced technologies, China is a very flexible state, and this brings it success and huge profits. In this regard, you can only learn from China.
2708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day on: January 06, 2019, 09:16:53 AM
I foresee it coming, it keeps on ringing in my ears with series of flashbacks. It will happen like a speed of light in a vacuum. Most bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day, they  will see no value in bitcoin again, they will dump bitcoin and call it all sort of name, with all these i know there will be holders who will follow bitcoin till death apart. They will hold on no matter how tough things will be for our mother coin.My question is which side will you be?. LONG LIVE CRYPTO, LONG LIVE BITCOIN.
I do not agree that bitcoin should just be kept in our wallets. This is contrary to the main purpose of Bitcoin as a means of payment. This is only digital virtual money, and for a good growth of money their turnover is needed. If most people just keep Bitcoin in their wallets, it can be worthless. People just stop using it.
2709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DESICO IS A SCAM on: January 05, 2019, 05:45:06 AM
DESICO IS A SCAM...never do not invest.Never take your tokens.Do not be a member of the platform in any way. These people are scams.Never forgive him.
The worst part is that they extended the bounty for 4 weeks when they have decided to issue security tokens it wasn't as if they don't know what they are doing
They want us to give them free work.

They dishonoredly took advantage of the bounty hunters in advance knowing that they would not be paid anything. I myself took part in this bounty, fortunately only in one round.
Damn. I considered this project one of the most prominent in these 2 quarters. What a pity that I spent 6 months on the promotion of this project being one of the first promoters to the masses..
And then you have been scammed by a fraudulent platform called desico. even there are bunch of participants have already sent their ID to the developers. Let's see what will be happening with it in the future.
Yes you think correctly. I couldn't complete KYC on website, but still other hunters suffered.
DESICO actually can pay in eth for hunters, but undoubtedly this will not happen.
They carried out a very strict check of KYC, limited the deadlines for filing an application for KYC. Now I am pleased that I did not. These scammers can still sell the identification of bounty hunters. Proponents of KYC testing can clearly see that KYC testing for bounty hunters is a very dangerous and illegal undertaking. Many people thought the DESICO team was normal and could be trusted with their data. Convinced that it is not safe?
2710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you care about product? on: January 05, 2019, 05:33:19 AM
There are a lot of ICO with promising products. In fact, many projects launch ICO because they want to reach the next level and make a company more successful.

Do you use or plan using these products?
For ICO projects, the finished product is very important because it is an indisputable evidence that we are not dealing with fraud. Of course, if this finished product is a new exchange, exchanger, good wallet and other useful product, then why not use them in the future.
The finished product is a good guide for bounty hunters to join such an ICO project.
2711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only? on: January 04, 2019, 05:34:52 PM
Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?
Paying for bounty hunters for participating in ICO bounty campaigns with Bitcoin or ethereum would be very good and I think that the majority will support this. Some ICO campaigns pay for the services of Bitcoin bounty hunters and the number of participants there is always limited and, as a rule, accounts from the full member and above are required. At the same time, the required number of participants in the ICO signature campaign is filled in the table in a matter of hours.
However, in general, ICO teams are not profitable to pay for the work of bounty hunters in Bitcoin or ethereum. On the contrary, they accept these coins and seek to distribute their tokens.
2712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally ETH is back at no. 2 spot on: January 02, 2019, 06:08:34 PM
I've look the market price early this morning and it still in the 3rd place but it actually change right now.
It is pretty obvious that people whave still giving trust even this coin is a cause of many ICOs fails. The continuous uprising trend of Eth will help for market recovery and bring back into $500, hopefully.

Ethereum again in its second place. Moreover, I think that the gap between these two coins in terms of capitalization will only increase. Now, according to CoinMarketCap, the ethereum's capitalization is 15.77 billion dollars, and ripple is 15.17 dollars. Ethereum increased by 12 percent, bitcoin by 4 percent, ripple by 5 percent. It seems that the upcoming improvements to this coin are already yielding results.
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to second place on coinmarketcap and overtake XRP again? on: January 02, 2019, 05:49:54 PM
Even this morning ripple was ahead of ethereum in terms of capitalization by a small margin. However, now Ethereum has regained its second place again and it seems that the gap between it and ripple continues to widen. So, now, according to CoinMarketCap, the ethereum's capitalization is 15.77 billion dollars, and ripple is 15.17 dollars. At the same time, the price of ethereum increased by 12 percent, Bitcoin by 4 percent, ripple by 5 percent. We see a clear growth advantage in ethereum.
2714  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin now the biggest bubble of all time? on: January 01, 2019, 09:35:39 AM
Yes, Bitcoin is a bubble in terms of financial relations, because it is not based on financial relations,
but on a new technology. For the means of payment this is not enough. However, no one knows what will happen to Bitcoin. He may die in a few days, or he may exist for centuries. Time will tell.
2715  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: January 01, 2019, 09:28:16 AM
A cryptocurrency run by the government is a contradiction in terms and a foolish idea: the bitcoin was born precisely to free itself from the power of states and banks; giving it back means to commit a big stupidity.
Governments will not ask us for opinions. They will issue their own centralized cryptocurrency, which will actually be the national digital money. I take this intention quite positively. Such a cryptocurrency will cause an additional interest in all cryptocurrencies and will strengthen their intention in that this is not a fraud. Yes, and look at the circulation of such cryptocurrency would be interesting.
2716  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat, Banks and the future of Cryptocurrencies on: December 31, 2018, 09:26:18 AM
In my opinion, in the future cryptomarket should be regulated by government. We already seen too many scam ICOs this year and to protect investor money, government should regulating cryptocurrency. I am agree that exchanger should comply to KYC because many people think crypto is used for money laundering
Not everything in cryptocurrency should be regulated by states. The basic principles of the existence of cryptocurrency, namely, its decentralization, relative anonymity and confidentiality should remain. ICO activities should be regulated in order to protect the rights of investors and other participants in the campaigns of the ICO bounty, but no one should interfere in the ICO process itself.
2717  Economy / Economics / Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains? on: December 31, 2018, 08:52:26 AM
According to my opinion, I think It's income and should be taxed. There should be a tax on capital gains because it's income and the current law is that people pay taxes on their income. If we want to debate or reform that policy, perhaps we should, but then it should be targeted at all kinds of income taxes, not just capital gains taxes. Getting rid of capital gains taxes by themselves is simply a way to cut taxes on the rich, because the rich make more money through capital gains than poor people do.

What is your thought on this matter?
I am against the introduction of a capital gains tax for cryptocurrency. It is necessary to take into account the specifics of cryptocurrency, namely its greater price volatility. We will constantly pay tax, when the cryptocurrency will grow in value, and if it drops after that, no one will return the paid money to us. Cryptocurrency is sufficient for income tax and it is better to charge it automatically when selling and buying cryptocurrency.
2718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About the ETH hard fork. on: December 30, 2018, 05:30:16 PM
hi everyone, i have a question,  please answer  Smiley

at which block will the eth Constantinople hard fork occur?
should i buy eth now to get the fork? or is it too late? thanks for all the help Smiley Smiley
I see that many here are confused with holding a rigid fork and implementing improvements in ethereum. The hard fork with the advent of the bithereum coin was planned for December 28 as a result of the merger of bitcoin and ethereum. And the introduction of various improvements in ethereum is scheduled for about January 16. I think that both events will raise the popularity and price of ethereum. I see that already now ethereum continues to rise slightly in price at the time when Bitcoin and other types of cryptocurrency are falling.
2719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do bounty hunters expect rewards in their wallets? on: December 30, 2018, 05:13:28 PM
Guys, I think you're crying? Bounty hunters perform a minimum of actions (I mean Twitter, Reddit, Linkedin, Facebook or the signature company), tweet, retweet, post, it takes 10 minutes a day and you want to get big money for it ?? !! I think the only thing that should be well paid is: translations, good videos or articles.
This raises a topic for discussion not that bounty hunters pay little for participating in ICO bounty campaigns, but the fact that ICO teams, when they sign up for an ICO signature campaign, write that the reward will be paid to the wallets indicated by us, and then break this condition and transfer tokens to their websites after we register there. This not only violates the conditions of accession, but also complicates us to obtain tokens, sometimes their passwords do not work, and other unforeseen difficulties arise. And sometimes these tokens can not be removed for various reasons. This is really an extra difficulty for bounty hunters.
2720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to second place on coinmarketcap and overtake XRP again? on: December 30, 2018, 04:53:15 PM
The last few days were very positive for Ethereum (ETH) and price increased by almost 60%. That's a big sign for ETH to have a claim for taking back the second position on coinmarketcap. XRP overtook ETH a few weeks ago and this fast reaction of ETH would be a positive sign for the entire crypto community. It was always a questionable move that XRP could overtake ETH and the recent price trend would back the importance of ETH as second crypto behind ETH.
For XRP, being very overvalued, this can result in another problem and damage of trust. In opposite, ETH was very undervalued based on it's use-case and offers an opportunity to buy some cheap ETH.

What's your opinion on this issue? Will ETH surpass XRP and stay in second place?

When the ripple coin overtook ethereum for the last time in terms of capitalization, the difference in their capitalization was about three billion dollars. Today the ripple capitalization rate is $ 14.93 billion, and ethereum is $ 14.37 billion. Now the difference in their capitalization is minimal, just over half a billion dollars and continues to shrink. Considering that on January 16, ethereum is expected to introduce various improvements, this coin will definitely definitely be ahead of ripple again in terms of capitalization. There is no doubt about it.
