341  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: June 11, 2023, 09:37:20 PM
The recent kidnapping of four Americans exposed me to the medical tourism going on in America. I have always thought that the US was a perfect country has very functional health, economic, and political systems. I thought all Americans have access to cheap and quality medical services until I read that over one million Americans go on medical tourism in Mexico yearly.

And the reason why some of them choose Mexico was because of its quality and low cost. These medical tourists are aware that it is risky to do to some parts of Mexico, but they still go there because they want to cut costs.
Is there any other reason why Americans go to Mexico for medical?

I would say this has more to do with the obscene pricing of the American medical system than any particular quality, besides cheapness, of Mexican surgery. It always shocks me whenever I see any reference to hospital bills in the USA, as they seem to high and are very often overinflated, like they will itemize to bill $30 for a paracetamol. It's to do with the insurance companies that have become so ingrained in the system, more so than pharmaceutical companies even, that they manipulate everything and don't really give a toss about the wider picture of a healthier society, that the government should always be seeking.

I certainly agree that their government always make their healthcare system sound like they have a huge concern for their citizens where in fact, most of American's use a huge part of their savings every time they would be needing medical support. No wonder why there are Americans who travel for medical purposes because they can save more than half of their possible expenses compared to other countries despite spending travel expenses. Their healthcare system could easily be manipulated by the government and there's always a political agenda behind it which has been happening for over the years.
342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi Im trader over 12 years of experince here is my goal on: June 11, 2023, 08:51:36 PM
Im trader over 12 years of experince.
I like to challenge myself iwill use mainly moving average indicator.
My goal is to start with 7$ and in 15 days i'll turn this into 229376$
I'll post the here results when I have done my PNL from binance.
Turning $7 into 229k+ in 15 days sound weird and unbelievable even though it is possible, but for sure you have to perform some miracle to have this happen in 15 days and that is something to really look out for.

Since you said you will update us on your journey to achieving that, we will be waiting to see what reality you can make from the sarcastic statement to prove all of us wrong.
The plan: 15 days starting with 7$
Calculation: 7x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2=229376
15 days in one month there will be big swings enough to give me at least 100% ROE.
even the way you count is the first thing I've seen, sorry for the OP, it seems you will find it difficult to fool the members here, the logic is only gods can double $ 7 to $ 229376 in trading because you are a human being so that's impossible LOL.  even professional traders have said that it is very difficult to make consistent profits trading cryptocurrencies, so don't try to think that trading in crypto is an easy thing, there are enough fools out there who say trading is an easy thing that anyone can do, including small children.

If Op will pursue this, he will surely need a long time because doing it in just 15 days would sound like a joke. Yes, it is important that we'll set a target goal but we should make it realistic and we should never disregard the risk. In Op's goal, he's making it sound like trading is easy as ABC which might only deceive new traders.
If you want to generate a high profit in just a short time, you also need a bigger capital to make it possible. We can apply any specific strategy that we know but we shouldn't expect too much and always keep in mind that trading still has a huge risk of providing losses if we won't be able t deal with the volatility of the market.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: June 11, 2023, 07:49:13 PM

then another thing to watch out for is when the project goes down some bounty hunters and investors might panic and sell their tokens.

My experience tells me that sometimes selling bounty rewards as soon as they hit the exchange may be a good decision. I have noticed some bounty posters who have complained of not making a profit from the rewards after they left it believing it will increase and some reduce to nothing after a while. For me, I decide not to regret it when I decide to sell.

I agree that it would be wiser to sell the bounty rewards right away after receiving them than waiting for the price to increase because most of the time, the prices drop down and these cons are having a hard time recovering. Some developers believe that bounty hunters could dump the price after getting paid but that's the wisest thing that bounty hunters can do so their efforts won't be wasted.
Reliable and legit bounty projects nowadays are fewer than scam projects so we have to be skeptical so we won't fall for their trap.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 10, 2023, 10:09:56 PM
They are actually both risky but doing gambling mostly relies on luck. Compared to trading, knowledge, and strategies aren't always applicable in gambling. In trading, we can learn and study everything and apply what we have learned as we figure out our mistakes from our past experiences but in gambling, recovering our losses is more challenging.
In trading, we don't rely too much on luck but on our deep understanding of dealing with market changes. We only have to deal with the market's volatility. It only requires time for us to understand and study everything unlike in gambling which we need to take the risk and face the possibility of losing easily. However, both risks could be handled if we know how to handle our emotions since both journeys could provide us with a roller coaster-like ride.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with all guy who loss money to stock market on: June 10, 2023, 09:31:04 PM
People who want to invest in stocks must have materials, methods, graphics, not just investing the money in stocks. it can bring problems in the future, the actual method of bringing graphics to anticipate things doesn't carry big risks sometimes risks always come suddenly which make a mess because of negative news effects. but that's nothing to fear because there will definitely be a normal rise that takes time

I certainly agree with that and one common mistake that some investors commit is that they invest without doing research simply because they believe that they can gain profit easily since they lack knowledge about it. As for me, investing in the stock market requires deep research and an understanding of its risk. It's not for lazy investors who don't do even simple research and expect huge profits in return.
However, it's still a good way to invest yet we should not put everything in one basket unless we know how to read charts and apply effective strategies on it. There are useful and knowledgeable resources that we can find online nowadays so if we are interested on it, we should be eager to learn how it works.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 10, 2023, 08:56:02 PM
-snip

And you are right that casinos are a business and the business model of casinos doesn't allow gamblers to win a lot of money or earn money on a daily basis because if that happens, casinos will go bankrupt in no time and they would probably not allow that or they will be out of business.
in other words the casino doesn't want to lose.
so, in this case, gamblers should realize that there is not a single casino that is able to provide wins every day in large or small amounts. if indeed there are gamblers winning streak it is just luck and I can guarantee that luck will not come every day.

Casino is still a business that should be running continuously so we can't expect continuous winning from it since they also need to keep their business running. If they will allow everyone to win all the time, then they will have huge losses which might affect their business status. One common mistake of gamblers is that they expect too much in casinos that they almost have the wrong mindset towards gambling believing that they could be lucky all the time.
Some gamblers almost forget that winning in gambling mostly rely on a person's luck so they tend to disregard the risks of losing. They always aim for huge winnings and only see gambling as a profit provider. I think it is better that we have huge expectations of winning so we'll never get disappointed in the end.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 10, 2023, 08:35:16 PM
I'm sure that you already know the solution but you're just blinded by the possibilities that you could still win big amount of profit again. The only thing that you can do is to chance your mindset and stop chasing your losses. Always keep in mind that you can't always win against the power house and despite winning huge amount, you shouldn't disregard that losing will always be a part of the game.
Discipline yourself and know how to control your emotions. In your case, your emotion is the one that is controlling you in your decision making and that's something that you should be aware of. Put limitations and set enough amount of capital and stop or rest when necessary. You have lost huge amount already and I guess, it's time for you to be wise in managing your finances in gambling. Move on and stop getting too emotional when remembering your losses because that's a part of the risk that you are taking in gambling. If you are having lose streaks, then stop for a while and think of a better strategies that you can apply the next time you gamble again.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 09, 2023, 05:49:11 PM
If your goal is just to generate profit from your capital, I think holding would be wiser and more ideal than lending. We all know the risk of getting lent and there's a possibility that you won't get paid as some borrowers intentionally or has the habit of not paying their debts. If you seek assurance and if you want to make your funds safer, better invest and hold in a reliable and trusted coin rather than entrusting it in the hands of borrowers. There are already lots of scammers who borrow funds from decentralized and centralized exchanges so you have to be skeptical and choose assurance over a higher profit but has a bigger risk.
349  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: June 09, 2023, 05:05:01 PM
     -   Maybe not all of those influencers' followers follow them on the gambling advertisements they promote on the social media platform. Because we know that most of their followers only support them with the content they make on any social media platform like Instagram or Twitter.

And if anyone follows them, these followers are also gamblers for sure. But in fairness to these influencers, the number of their followers is actually staggering.
Or maybe these influencer followers just want to know how to get people to join to earn commissions. There are many reasons for these influencer followers to follow them on their social media and it's true, not all of them are gambling because maybe they want to make friends and support each other in creating content. And the number of their followers can indeed be very large and this is what we have to find out how they can have that many followers. Maybe if we can have it, we can spread something useful to them.

Those influencer can earn thru views and also they can earn on referrals so don't get surprise for those influencer to be more eager to make their community big because this is how they earn. I also forgot that they can earn by donations so expect that they always share good things and avoid posting negatives since it can ruin their career or maybe their other recruits will doubt on them because they became suspicious on their intentions.

I guess that's the influencer's dilemma. If you want to earn, you need to grow your community and also propose good products that make sense. If you start promoting crap, people unfollow. I think that is precisely what people are looking for, someone who has an stake on actually being right in their appraisals. My guess is that really big celebrities actually care LESS than mid-rankers.

Famous celebrities and influencer's are different and we should not compare between the two. When it comes to celebrity's, they will charge you a lot for promotion of your product, ad or gambling site. Also we cannot become celebrities ourself.

On the other hand, influencer's can also help in promotion of the site however they may charge way less than the celebrities.
Also, if you to have presence on social media platforms, you can try and become an influencer yourself too. All you need is a community and community will come to you automatically if you offer a good service or education on social media.

There are now lots of new strategies for influencers to grow their social media accounts and gain more followers. They can easily hire social media experts to help them gain more followers but that doesn't increase their credibility when it comes to the reliable services or legit promotions that they provide. The number of followers nowadays could easily be faked so it is hard to rely on that but rather on the reputation that these influencers have established.
Famous celebrities on the other hand can easily reach out to their viewers to gain followers so growing their community isn't as hard as ordinary people. They can ask for support based on the number of their fans and supporters so they can easily earn better when it comes to referral programs since they already know how to gain the trust of their followers.
There are actually underrated influencers nowadays that provide reliable and informative contents. As for me, it is better to rely on the content rather than the number of followers.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year on: June 09, 2023, 04:04:33 PM
No, I don't want to wind up regretting my prior choices. I might just be chasing them to figure out my overall losses. It won't benefit me in any way, I believe. Instead of concentrating on what I have lost, I would like to view my overall winning profits because doing so will simply make me feel bad, which could influence how I play in the future.
Always seeing the total number of our losses might affect our emotional stability so instead of figuring out our losses, it will be better to focus on how we could generate a better profit along with how we control and discipline ourselves in gambling. We should move on from our losses and just see them as a lesson for us to be better in our future gambling journey. We will not grow if we will just continuously chase them.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 09, 2023, 03:33:41 PM
I used to be like this when I first started my gambling journey. I would always break my promise to stop gambling or even just resist the urge the following day. When I lost most of my funds, that's when I started to exercise self-control and discovered that we can't discipline ourselves if we have too high of expectations for gambling. I'm constantly eager and working so hard to achieve my target objective despite risks hoping that I could get lucky but when I started controlling my emotions and tried my best to resist from gambling temptations, it became my habit and I started playing gambling occasionally and just considered it as a source of entertainment and not a passive income.
It will be hard in the beginning but with perseverance and willingness, we can get rid of guilt and we can't also control ourselves. It only needs determination and self discipline.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: June 08, 2023, 10:56:31 PM
Of course, I dealt with the trading addiction. But trading is a very serious addiction. Just like when people get into gambling it is very difficult to get out of it, so whether you get into futures trading or spot trading, if it becomes your addiction, it will be a little difficult for you to get out. Futures trading in particular is a very addictive platform. When your profits start coming in, your/my state of mind is so good that it is expensive to publish at home. However, it is not difficult to remove yourself from here.
I could say that I've almost fallen for trading addiction but compared to gambling, its risk is different. As long as you're skilled enough and know how to deal with the risks of trading, getting addicted to it will not give worse results. As long as you manage your finances wisely and trade with the confidence of making the right decisions, your addiction could still turn into generating profit.
I think trading addiction will only provide negative results if we are using most of our assets with no control and if we are risking everything just to fill our urges. It's fine to aim for higher profit but putting limits is still important. Trading is addictive but we should only take the positive side of it.
353  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 08, 2023, 10:41:09 PM
There are casinos that do not do KYC unless you use multiple accounts. They even allow large amounts.

You can find KYC ratings here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.0
A rating of 1 will only KYC if you use multiple accounts.
I saw on the list that there were a few that I used to gamble with, and the casinos didn't ask me to do KYC (hopefully not because I'm not a big money gambler).

I hope KYC remains not for all gamblers because those who gamble in crypto casinos are those with small and big money. And if the casino finds a gambler with big money and has an odd cash flow, the casino can ask them about it.
I don't really believe in some casinos that state non KYC because when we withdraw a very large amount of winnings, they will definitely ask for KYC.
Sounds cruel but that's what really happened.
I prefer casinos that ask for KYC from the start because it can be opened as a whole so that in the future we don't need to be afraid of being asked for KYC for making large withdrawals.

Whether the gambler with big or small money is better to take a safer path by using a trusted or reputable casino.

That's also the complaint of other crypto casino users. They are being deceived by a promotion that a certain casino would not ask for any KYC but surprisingly would ask users to comply with it upon important withdrawal transactions. It will be better if they will be honest about implementing it than deceiving users so they will attract more since lots of gamblers don't want KYCs.
To be honest, KYC is now mandatory in most casinos so it's hard to trust casinos that don't require it. I don't see a problem with complying since it will also benefit both parties' security but casinos must be honest about it. They don't need to promote that they are KYC-free if they will hold funds later on and will ask for KYC unexpectedly.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 08, 2023, 10:01:39 PM
He should have seek for help base on the story their family has a power or their not poor they could afford to do some consultation for him.
And for I think if the parents are more connected to their child then they would have notice the problem, and they could have help him with it.
It isn't the first time that a person who has been in huge debt had taken their own life, or who has been addicted to something had done it.
But let's hope that those who are close to us would open up when they needed to talk and needed someone to be there for them.

The problem with gambling addiction is that gamblers keep denying that they are not addicted, but just regular gamblers who only want to play and win. And they become in denial with their own uncontrolled emotions, where in fact they really want to burst out and stop gambling immediately but they can’t do it since they still have to regain what they have considered losses. However, if only parents give a lot of time for their children, I think they will always notice that there’s something wrong with them. And if problems will be immediately addressed, then suicidal for most of the minor gamblers will never be consistently happening at all.

Parents really play a vital role in the child's mental health condition. If he has his family and friends supporting him, I'm sure that he would have a clear mind and might not focus on have suicidal thoughts. I'm sure that it wasn't easy for that student to cope up with gambling addiction or he might also afraid that anybody would hear about it but in another angle, he might have leaned on gambling since he's experiencing lack of emotional support from the people around him.
As parents, it is important that we'll know the activities of our children and have enough time to spend talking to them personally and asking updates about their personal lives though we are busy with lots of things. They always need emotional support and guidance as younger generation nowadays are too fragile when it comes to handling their emotions.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management discussion on: June 08, 2023, 09:40:15 PM
I don't utilize a certain amount when I gamble. Everything depends on how my gameplay goes, but I try to maintain enough self-control to regulate and manage my bankroll well. But if I will estimate it, I think it only goes between 1-2% or at least 5% or my monthly salary though I only gamble when I want and not regularly and as much as possible, I only gamble with minimal amount to avoid excessive gambling.
We all know how compulsive gambling will affect our finances so we should always have self discipline when it comes to spending. There are gamblers who continuously gambling as long as they have funds and will stop when they are losing their bankroll and that's what we should avoid.
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 tips to know about crypto trading on: June 07, 2023, 10:29:41 PM
Trading is one of the most challenging things in the blockchain world and it requires lots of willingness and determination to reach success. These tips help build up a positive outcome in the future and to apply these, first, we need to have the proper mindset towards trading. It will not make us rich quickly as others think because the possibility of losing is always present but if we have the eagerness to work hard to adopt knowledge and learnings, we could make the right decisions on it wisely.
We can't do perfect trading in the beginning but as we go on with our journey, our experiences will help us explore and discover strategies that we can apply to generate good profit.
357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: June 07, 2023, 09:53:55 PM
I believe that the only sacrifice I made for trading was the sleepless nights I spent attempting to figure out certain methods and understand at least the fundamentals. It requires effort and in-depth comprehension because at first, it was rather complicated. I spent almost every night watching video tutorials and reading helpful resources to gain more knowledge that I already missed doing some of my important tasks. However, it helped me a lot since I was able to apply everything wisely. It was a long process of learning and I still need to learn a lot until now so I still sacrifice my time learning and studying. We really need to spend time if we need to fully understand how trading really works. It also needs focus and eagerness to explore more strategies since some analysis are quite hard to understand at first.
358  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 07, 2023, 04:04:00 PM
Gambling is a choice we did it with our own decision there is nothing that we would say could change it.
We gamble to gain something from it even though we are aware that we could lose rather than gaining what we want.
That is the risk that we took when we decided to gamble, so we must bare the consequence of it.
sometimes people are so stressed that they start gambling
Many starts it at an early age and become professional gammblor sooner
Being stressed is not an excuse to start gambling if you don't want to gamble, there are actually a lot of better thing to do to gain rest and calm nerves down when ultimately stressed, gambling is actually not  very much an option if I begin to mention them, even though many do see gambling as away to relax, I must tell you that if you sole purpose for gambling is because you are stressed and need rest, there is a high chance you might end up becoming even more stressed due to loses, expect you are the type who have learnt to see gambling as a way of having fun rather than making money/profit, but then, majority of those who gamble today, even the so called professionals, gamble with one goal in their mind, and that is to make money.

We can rely on gambling if we're looking for comfort and pleasure, but gambling is never a solution if we're looking for momentary stress relief. Additionally, it is not a good idea to bet when under stress because we are more likely to make poor choices if we feel weak emotionally. If you feel stressed, you better keep yourself from gambling, or else, your stress might get worst in the future. There are other solutions for you to find relief. It is better to gamble when you are well-conditioned emotionally rather than relying on it when you're troublesome. Just gamble when you want to generate profit and when you are emotionally prepared because gambling will surely challenge your emotions and your decisions might only be based on what you feel.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: June 07, 2023, 03:44:22 PM
There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. Firstly, Bitcoin provides a secure and decentralized way to gamble online, which is attractive to many gamblers who value their privacy and security. Transactions are processed quickly and can be completed without third-party intermediaries, making it a popular choice for online gambling sites.

Another advantage of using Bitcoin for gambling is that it allows for more anonymity than traditional payment methods. This can be especially important for gamblers who wish to keep their gambling activities private.

Furthermore, Bitcoin transactions are often cheaper and faster than traditional banking methods, which can save gamblers money and time.

Many online casinos and sports betting sites now offer exclusive bonuses and promotions for Bitcoin users, which can provide gamblers with extra incentives to use Bitcoin for their online gambling activities.

Can you tell us another advantage of opening an account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook?

Bitcoin transactions are transparent and open to the public. Which means that anybody can take a look and trace/prove certain transactions. There is no middle man required for this. This also means that nobody can cheat/scam somebody just because their gambling experience did not turn out the way that they hoped it would. Currently, Bitcoin is working on cheaper transaction costs but there are also cheaper options. Especially other cryptocurrencies.

Online crypto gambling casinos do provide a large amount of advertising for Bitcoin/crypto. They may even be one of the top promoters of Bitcoin. That is definitely a good thing. If casinos find more ways to connect normal people with Bitcoin, then I am more than happy about that.

The use of Bitcoin for gambling has been greatly supported by Crypto Casino, and certainly, their promotions have been successful in luring more users, particularly gamblers. Their advertisements in different websites and social media platforms and even in sports events had a huge impact on Bitcoin's growth which has also increased the number of Bitcoin users.
However, Bitcoin has also been a good attraction to lots of gamblers who prefer using a well established coin and provide cheaper fee at the same time. These two actually work together and they also benefit gamblers who want to generate better profit and save transaction fees.
Without Bitcoin, I'm certain that many gamblers are still suffering from fees and distress, and many may still be falling for fraudulent currencies.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 07, 2023, 03:22:13 PM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.

In the event that Bitcoin becomes illegal in my country, I will be selling all of my Bitcoin holdings and temporarily moving them into a more secure asset. While I await the verdict, I will only use just a portion of it to gamble and trade. I'll continue to take the risk if I can find another way to make use of Bitcoin freely in the event that the ban is enacted, just like other nations that have faced bans but still managed to find a way to use it.
However, I still believe that Bitcoin will always be supported and continuously being adapted in our country so we're far from this struggle and that's what I'm grateful about. That's also the reason why it's a good thing that we're embracing good opportunities that Bitcoin could offer here.
