1301  Economy / Gambling / Re: hello Players!! on: June 21, 2022, 05:01:53 PM
Try and work on the appearance of the site. It is not looking pleasant and attractive. The choice of font colours and font should be reconsider. You can try using open sans in majority of the work to make it readable. Then try to reduce the brightness of the colors, they are to bright for the eyes.
If it is possible avoid black colors, grey color with the right rgb will do the function of the black.
Also pay attention to the UI design, and make it appealing and attractive.

I dropped my review based on the appearance of the site, I didn't try to use any features of the site. I know first things first, and the first impression matters. Hoping to see you make huge changes and return better to serve the community.

I certainly agree with this. The graphic design has a lot to do with creating the first impression on players. It should look attractive and interesting even at the first glance so you have to improve and make it look better because first impressions last. It's already quite fine yet you have to make sure that it could catch the attention of the players. You can get inspiration from big casino sites so you'll have more ideas.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargons on: June 21, 2022, 04:04:53 PM
There are still terms that I'm confused about and still trying to learn more. I'm still in the process of discovering things about gambling so there are still things that I have to learn. Some might have a short time learning the jargon but for others, it takes a long time and I think that depends on how often we gamble. There are gambling terms that need research before we fully understand and that's a part of the process.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: June 21, 2022, 02:50:56 PM
We all know that Macau is the world's biggest gambling capital the world and its government is relying 80% on its revenues from casino operations as the majority of its citizen are employed directly or not directly but now it is facing a dilemma there is a rapid increase of the outbreak of the disease and they have no choice but to close most shops, banks schools, and government offices but surprisingly their casino operations are still open as they need to cope with the revenues losses and keep the money flowing to keep the government funds stable.
Do you think the government of Macau made the right decision or they are very desperate not to shut down the casino operations
because they need their economy going.

Related story and source here

Macao shuts most businesses, restaurants amid mass COVID-19 testing; casinos stay open

as you said government us relying 80% of its revenue on this industry and maybe they think that there will be more worse scenario to happen to their country if they stop this because they lose the biggest contributor to their economic growth then might they struggle financially if they decide not to accept any gambling platform taxes.

Macau has experienced the outbreak before and they handled it well, I'm sure that they will be able to surpass this outbreak again. The government will allow them to operate because they need casinos to support their economy. As for me, yes, they did the right thing because if they will stop their operation, both parties will suffer and it will hit their economic situation hard.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good list for longterm investment? on: June 19, 2022, 03:09:30 PM
I do not consider any coin other than Bitcoin and ethereum suitable for long term investment. Because in my 5 years of experience I see that only Bitcoin and ethereum are trusted coin. There are other coins today but not tomorrow. For example, in 2017 Litecoin was in the top ten coins but not now. Again in 2021 DogeCoin was at the top of the discussion but during the next bullrun maybe any other coin will be top of the discussion. Also the destruction of Luna coin in 2022.
May you can't because of some points and market considerations but it was not only BTC and ETH that are suitable for long-term investment, we may also consider those coins that are in the top 10 coins. For many years, they still remain in the market and this is a big factor to look at. Of course, not meme coins nor those projects in hyped, we look for those projects that have a working product.

As to the list of OP, only the 3 coins I may consider BTC, ETH, and Polygon...well the rest, I don't know...I have no confidence in them.

There's no harm in investing with top coins as well as we know their potential to resist the bearish situation. Bitcoin and Ethereum are undoubtedly good coins especially when it comes to long-term investment but there are still other coins that are worth investing in. On the given list, Polygon is also one of my picks. Sometimes, we have to risk and trust good coins, we only have to do research especially if we're doubting.
1305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 19, 2022, 02:39:44 PM
Quote
1. Be patient, don't panic.
2. Buy and hold.
If you have invested with crypto before then you already know how the market works and what happens to the prices of altcoins during this kind of market season. If you are holding potential coins then you shouldn't panic but rather have the guts to hold and trust your choice of coins. It's also a good time to accumulate more altcoins so be wise and take advantage of the situation.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about your next crypto portfolio for 2025 on: June 18, 2022, 04:15:26 PM
When is a good time to start buying altcoins? Is bitcoin ever going to 25,000$ in the coming weeks? How do you plan to start building your portfolio for the next bull market? Is now a good time to start buying?.

If you would let this time pass without investing, then you'll only miss the chance of gaining profit in the future. Bitcoin's volatility has been high these days but as for me, a bearish situation would be the perfect time to fill our bags with potential coins, especially Bitcoin. As long as you know what you're buying, then you aren't missing the chance.
1307  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: June 18, 2022, 03:10:39 PM
Small farm? My relatives are engaged in agriculture. Their land, their fields, their cows and other living creatures. I can tell you - I probably could not stand it! Getting up at 5 in the morning, going to bed at 12 at night, and working hard all day - few people agree to this. I think that you are talking about the inhabitants of cities. All that urban residents can afford is a small "garden" on the balcony or roof of the house, where in the summer they will grow the simplest and most unpretentious vegetables, and in absolutely small volumes. But you won't grow bread, you won't raise cows and you won't get milk to make cottage cheese, kefir, butter, you won't grow olives or sunflowers and you won't get their bottom butter for salad or cooking other dishes. This direction will not give "salvation". Well, or the residents of the city need to migrate to the villages, and there they are engaged in self-sufficiency by leading a farm

I can agree to this. Cows need to be milked quite early, like 5am or 5:30am. Unless the farm is quite large, that is stretching for thousands of hectares, there is no point in employing additional labor. All the labor requirements need to be met within the family of the farmer. And small-scale farming can be one of the riskiest career options, because of the volatility in prices. For example, wheat is trading at $500 per tonne as of now. A few years ago, it was trading at $150 to $200 per tonne. The same can be said about several other agricultural commodities.

Farm life is restless and too tiring. You won't have enough rest unless you get sick due to overfatigue. You have to handle the plants and take care of the farm animals which will take you long hours of work. Some people might say that it's an easy job but it's actually one of the hardest jobs I know yet they receive low payments for their labor. They still can't live the life they want because the government isn't fair when it comes to paying them.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus abuse or matched betting? What do you think about? on: June 18, 2022, 02:16:38 PM
Abused is mostly because of the poor system which affects the operation of a gambling site, this also a wake up call for them to adjust the security so when they do host another promotions, it cannot be abused anymore. Gamblers have to play based on the rules, if not then expect problem later on.

The first thing that casino operators should understand is there will always bad actors, cheaters, and abusers in the gambling community, and setting up a foolproof system to weed these bad actors will benefit the casinos and the gambling community, its ok to give bonus and giveaways but you need tight security so only those who deserve to get the bonus get it and there will be no player who will get more than what others are getting.

It's really the responsibility of casinos to take control of their bonuses and promotions. They should be the ones to handle its limit because some abusive gamblers will only take advantage of it. It's fine to create bonuses and promotions to attract players but they must handle it well to balance and distribute the rewards to players fairly.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Play To Earn can make 50x - 100x? on: June 17, 2022, 05:37:17 PM
I don't understand what is the use of NFTs and what are the benefits of holding them in the long run, apart from the hype surrounding it, I see almost no utility.

I think NFT is also one of those trends in the market that comes when the bull market is dominating and its hype will end when the bear market arrives. Now many NFTs have dropped a lot and none of the hype stands out.
I do see a use case for them as "digital collectible", however that would require some form of standard for NFTs which currently doesn't exist. Now you can create NFTs on different blockchains in different forms (weblink that is without guarantee to work in a couple of years...) but nobody knows what will happen with all those in a few years. To hold NFTs for a longer time is currently extremely risky and I doubt it will pay off, most of them will probably go to 0.

I think having NFTs as collectibles is not worth it simply because NFTs don't work in the long run. They're just profitable in the beginning just like what happened to famous NFTs before. Despite the hype, they are still not able to maintain their value. Instead of buying and holding NFTs, it's better to invest with good potential coins.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 17, 2022, 04:13:09 PM
I always try to avoid thinking about streaks, as really each bet is independent, and if you've say won 10 in a row or lost 10 in a row, it doesn't make you any more or less likely to win the next bet. Whilst streaks can sometimes mean that you are making good decisions (especially if it's a streak in a certain specific area where you have a lot of knowledge), more often a streak is simply brute luck, almost like flipping a coin 10 times and getting 10 heads... it doesn't make the chance of getting heads next time any more or less likely.

That's true, if I play I rarely see the result I mean it's fine to see the result for once or thrice the after that don't always check your winning streak, just play and have fun because sometimes the moment when you start to notice you are winning consecutively that's why you are losing your focus in the game and you are losing the momentum. We should just play and relax and don't invest too much in winning but rather than enjoying the game.

Enjoying the game won't make you feel stressed even when you're getting unlucky. You can't always win the game but when you're enjoying it, you think positively and attracts good luck. Sometimes, the satisfaction that we get from gambling is what matters and profit will be the bonus. It should be a source of joy and not a source of pressure.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: June 17, 2022, 03:49:06 PM

Australia truly love their people and they are even creating Laws after Laws just to help their addicted gamblers to turn into something worth to live  because Slot machines is truly addicting , there are several friends of Mine that has this attitude in Playing in slots longer and bigger amount that they can afford to lose.
and ending? ruining their life and family.
I support this initiative to Put those machines in place where they deserve and those are casino houses where gamblers need to go and spend time and money than everywhere it is available.

But machines aren't the only means of gambling in Australia. If gambling addicts would stop using machines due to the banning, they can still look for alternatives such as online casinos. Banning machines won't be enough but it's spreading the awareness about gambling addiction and how to control it. Machines aren't the only thing that attracts gamblers.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 keeps falling on: June 16, 2022, 06:03:47 PM
Luna 2.0 will never resist the bearish season especially now that it has a bad reputation. The previous record of Luna has a huge impact on their new version of the coin so new investors will surely avoid it. Luna is already far from survival and might drop lower in the coming days. Investors have lost their trust in it and it will be hard for the developers to regain their trust.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are given this opportunity to choose which one will it be on: June 16, 2022, 04:55:23 PM
Seeing Avalanche lose 80+% of its value compare to its all time high looks like a very tempting buying opportunity to me, if you are given the chance to only pick a wallet with 5000 pieces of Cardano or Avalanche which one will you go for and why?.

Both coins have huge potential so both would be good picks. I would invest half on my funds in ADA and half for AVAX. I've seen how these coins developed and reached their ATHs as so I believe that they could reach more when the market recovers. As for me, it will be a good time to buy these coins.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: June 16, 2022, 04:17:03 PM
Quote
An addict can self-exclude from a site, but then continue to use another gambling site. It is possible that self-exclusion can help to some extent though, but there are more to do in a way to restrict yourself from addictive gambling.it’s not very easy to control yourself from gambling, because there are many distractions to get through. It's similar to an addiction really and must be treated with care and recognising that this is a problem before it gets out of hand
Self-exclusion can only be a temporary solution but it cannot cure or eliminate gambling addiction. If a person's gambling addiction is worst, apps or features like this won't work anymore. A person will always have the urge to look for gambling alternatives so professional help is something that he should seek.
Self-exclusion can control us from too much gambling but the discipline must also start within us.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 16, 2022, 03:35:53 PM
Tomorrow will be the game 6 of the  NBA finals which is warriors needs to end in order to avoid such pressure and more intense in game 7 and if warriors can escape from the hard defense of boston for sure they will win but if they can not for sure boston will win and another wait for the final which is game 7.
How about you what is your predictions?
Is the warriors will be a champion  tomorrow or the boston celtics will give the last game 7 and have a opportunity to win and claim the trophy? Wink

I hope that the Warriors would end the game victorious tomorrow instead of letting the Celtics steal the moment and feel the pressure of game 7 just like what happened before. If they really want to win, they should do their best shots tomorrow and don't let another game to occur, or else, they will reach game 7 again and might lose the crown.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: June 16, 2022, 02:13:27 PM
-skip-
I was sitting and wondering, there will always be bad actors in online gambling but who is to blame, the customers/fraudsters or the gambling merchants? Are the customers/fraudsters getting tech-savvy or are the gambling merchants getting complacent in checking and testing their website for loopholes? Don't these online gambling operators anticipate these frauds while building their websites? Why don't they invest in a robust fraud detection system before the fraud happens and not after?
I ask again who is to blame for the increase in bonus abuse, the customers/fraudsters or the online gambling operators?

A strange question - the violator is always to blame. Even if the thief used the door that for some reason was not closed, he remains a thief, and the one whom he robbed remains an innocent victim. As for statistics, I would not overestimate its importance. Casinos that make bonus programs are well aware that some unscrupulous players will not use them properly and will be able to somehow cheat. But bonus programs give more profit than losses, so these collateral losses are acceptable for the casino.

Those who have done wrong are really to be blamed. No matter what the reasons are, cheating is still cheating, abuse is abuse and there's no excuse. If a site has a mistake regarding the bonus security scheme, it doesn't mean that people have to take advantage of them. If we know what's right and wrong, we should take responsibility for our actions.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good for future hold? on: June 15, 2022, 05:23:35 PM
After I kept almost 8 months of Luna and did not sell when the price of more than $ 100 made me regret and now I just invest in the top coins if you want a long -term hold, surprises often occur in cryptocurrencies because the coins that we consider will be brilliant to drop and even die, though We hold the long term but we must be realistic, if the price has dropped more than 25% then the cut loss immediately is the best option.

Luna, That is too expensive a lesson.
Only cut loss with non-potential altcoins, if the coin you are holding is bitcoin, you do not need to cut loss. Cryptocurrency is a place that always gives us surprises so always be ready to take any risks it may bring us, focus only on bitcoin and altcoins are top 2, top 3 instead of holding too many altcoins. The bear market is where a lot of altcoins will be dumped and die, so we should refrain from investing in alt at time.

If you don't want to experience the same thing that happened to Luna, then try to get rid of weak or nonpotential coins. Yes, top coins will be better if you're targetting a long-term investment. Lots of altcoins specifically those who are just being hyped can't resist the bear market so you better be wise on choosing coins.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 04:11:07 PM
According to the link, the man was mistakenly sent the money, not that the man mistakenly sent the money to his bank account. That money is huge and the man should be blamed. He spent it so much on gambling which is another reason to blame him. All I think is that he may want to play smart, knowing authority will still come for the money, but just use it to fastly take a chance and use part of it to gamble continuously and losing it. That money is very huge for the man not to be blamed, he should be blamed.
I agree with you, I mean anyone that has enough experience with money has a rough idea of how much they earn and how much income they could get on their account at any given time, if you were to receive such a huge sum out of nowhere the first thing that needs to come to our mind is that some mistake was made and it will be eventually corrected, but instead that person went out of his way to gamble all of that money away, so he should be held responsible for what he did.
In the first place, receiving huge funds in your bank account is very suspicious. A normal person will question it or will go straight to the bank to check the details of the transaction and report it to the authorities but he did a selfish act instead of doing the right thing. The man might be into gambling addiction but that doesn't save him from what he did. I'm sure that he knows what he was doing and did it intentionally.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 15, 2022, 03:41:19 PM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?

I don't think that bitcoin drop would cause some issues to the gamblers, because usually they converts their USDT to BTC only when they bet, or play directly with USDT. Cryptocurrency is a way for play, a method, but its

price doesn't impact directly to the activity. I'm not concerned about, because when I want to play, I use my USDT directly into my casino account.

This is true, based on my personal experience though I'm just a small time gambler, I usually convert my funds to USDT so the current Bitcoin price doesn't affect me. I guess it will only affect holders if they aren't converting their funds to USDT right away. Gamblers usually focus on the profit and not the market situation because there are other alternatives to avoid being affected.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 15, 2022, 03:05:51 PM
Yes, the betting consultant can be considered a career but it has high qualifications. You must acquire knowledge and skills about gambling strategies and must make sure that you have applied it successfully on your own gambling journey. But if you are a gambling pro, why would you focus on this career and not just gamble using your strategies if they're really effective? That's an ironic yet confusing part of hiring tipsters.
