1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: June 14, 2022, 05:05:24 PM
It is ok for newbies to invest on new projects, but they should be ready for the worst case.
The most important thing when investing in crypto is we can afford to lose our investment anytime,
therefore we should invest what we can afford to lose.
New projects are risky indeed, but usually the profit is worth for the risk.
If they will take the risk, it will be better if they will risk their funds on well-established coins like BTC, BNB, and ETH. Yes, there could be more potential projects but if they seek assurance, coins with a good record and reputation are still the best choice. There are lots of scam projects nowadays so it's important to be skeptical even if a newbie is a risk-taker.
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Online Casino Games: Which do you prefer? on: June 14, 2022, 04:14:25 PM
Since sports betting is more information-based, you are more likely to win. Technical data is in the foreground. Your chances are more than fifty percent. However, online casino games are completely dependent on luck. You have a fifty percent chance. If you are lucky you will win. That's why I prefer sports betting.

That still depends on how you will interpret the information you know, it's more on just like a stats and other data of the teams, but that would only give you an information on how to analyze it, information about a fix game is different, that is something that would assure a win.

That's why you should be knowledgeable on how the whole game works so you'll have an idea about the advantage and edge of the team that you're betting with. In sports betting, there are also unexpected results because changes in the gameplay can happen anytime. It still relies on luck at some point.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 14, 2022, 03:42:01 PM
Honestly, I haven't seen a banker or a casino close; the bettor always loses; why is that?

This happens several time when I was young but it is not a casino instead a local gambling place where there are Roulette games.

the Banker lose everything that they need to close the game for that night because of bankrupt and luck is not on their side.

but in real casino or here in crypto? none that I heard such thing.
Real casinos are often declared illegal by the government if they do not obey any government laws. So I think online casinos are more attractive to gamblers.  And I also like online casinos a lot. And there is no chance of money getting stuck or a casino bankrupt. But here too the risk remains for scams. So when choosing a casino you need to choose a trusted casino carefully.

Risks and possibilities to get scammed could be everywhere so it's too important to always pick a trusted casino site. There will be lapses, especially when withdrawing our funds but good casinos easily resolve the issues. We might not always win against the house because that's a part of the business but as long as we're doing gambling the right way with proper limitations, we can't lose everything.
1324  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: June 12, 2022, 04:15:23 PM

Thats why its never been recommendable nor an ideal thing for you to listen up others suggestion specially if it do emphasize particular projects or something thats not really known.
If you arent that sure then you could always stick with bitcoin but if you could take risk on other coins then go ahead and be wise on choosing. Its up to your own discretion and preference
because its your money then its your right to choose but its not bad to snip out some good or relevant ideas came from other people but be wise on when to snip out.
Invest on something which you do see to be that worth.
Find new projects which are beneficial to the people - like home delivery services, Airbnb projects, online training, Gym or fitness.
There are so many other options as well. But to me crypto is getting too risky now. There are a lot of scammers in the field now - so better be safe.

Crypto will always be risky because of its volatility but as long as you're doing your research, you should have the confidence to invest. As a beginner, it would be better to stick with Bitcoin and other top coins like ETH. They're well established and could work in the long run compared to unestablished new projects. If it will be your first time to risk in crypto, you better be sure of the quality of the coin that you will be choosing.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 12, 2022, 03:37:44 PM
NFT was the talk of 2021. Now if we look at floor prices for all popular collections https://www.coingecko.com/en/nft other than BAYC there is nothing that performs well.
Cryptopunks are down big. Same for azuki, moonbird, coolcats. Collectors are now looking for good fundamentals, but how can NFT give it? Discuss?

It's not over for NFTs yet, in fact, they're still in the beginning phase. It's just that the market is in a bearish season and even top coins are affected. There are still lots of NFT supporters and investors who are waiting for the market to recover. The whole market isn't in good status so NFTs couldn't strike well. Let's just see how they would recover or boom when the situation gets better.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: June 12, 2022, 03:10:45 PM
Currently a lot of bounties are scamming hunters, making hunters to be discouraged. Imagine working for 4 to 12 weeks hoping to be paid, only for the project to scam you of your efforts.
It is really disheartening these days, I hope something worthy comes up

Bounties nowadays are too different from the bounties years ago plus the market situation has a negative impact on them. We can't expect that they could pay their participant's profitable tokens so your choice of the project should be your personal preference. So before exerting an effort to promote them that will take you a long time, you better do research so you'll never waste your time and just have regrets in the end.
1327  Economy / Economics / Re: Italy Is Held Back by 2.6 Million People Who Have Given Up on Work on: June 12, 2022, 01:33:17 PM
I am 100% sure that the situation is not as bad as the case here in India. Here just around 1.5% of the population pays income tax. Almost everything is subsidized (food, fuel, electricity, housing, healthcare, education.etc) by the government (either federal or state), and it is very much possible for entire families to survive despite doing any work. For non-Indians it may be difficult to believe that 1.5% of the population (derogatively called as the "salaried class") is subsidizing the remaining 98.5%, but this system has survived for many decades now.
sees like situation is bad everywhere. And it will worsen with every passing month. Earlier COVID and then this crisis due to oil price hikes have place the world in so much agony. People are upset but I have noticed one thing that the despite there being so many job seekers but they are not willing to work for little wages. No - not at all.

In our country, the government only provides livelihood programs and employment for jobless people. They support but they don't sustain their necessities continuously so if poor people here won't work, they wouldn't survive. If a government supports those who don't want to work, they will surely just enjoy their jobless lives and would rely on the government.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: June 11, 2022, 05:19:48 PM
What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?
My biggest regret so far was not buying bitcoin while its price dips into $3k. I may have owned a lot of bitcoin at the moment if i did take the risk that time. But still, i make sure i was not stucked with that regret, as i always take every opportunity that comes, and buys in every dip. What could be more regretful is that you keep on missing chances when you already know that its worth to buy, and yet you never take the risk and chances.
I have also the same regret. I have known Bitcoin for a long time but I missed the opportunity of buying it when its price was so cheap because of doubt which I really regret until now. I guess we all have the same regret and if only we bought at its low price years ago, we might be millionaires now but I believe in fate and there's a right time for everything.
1329  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: June 11, 2022, 04:03:06 PM
There is also a place where their government borrowed a huge amount of money that is supposedly the fund that is going to be used to aid people that's suffering from COVID-19 and to buy health related stuffs that are going to be given to their people, yet, they manipulated the funds by buying "expensive" stuffs to counter COVID-19 to an unknown pharmaceutical company.

And now, the people from that place are the one who is going to pay all that debt, what a shame. I've just realized that even in the times of chaos, evil people will still choose money over humanity.

I'm also familiar with that country and it's also heartbreaking that even poor people who haven't been reached out to by the government during the pandemic situation has to supper paying for their debt. Corruption is everywhere and it's getting worse. It's too disappointing that they're using the pandemic situation for their own benefit instead of using it to aid their people.
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is doing well in Thailand...or is it? on: June 11, 2022, 03:35:37 PM
I live in Thailand, and in my opinion the government does not banned with cryptocurrencies, currently some top exchanges such as binance and huobi also expand by making Thai -language applications, even the 2 exchanges often advertise on local tv, which I feel is crypto experienced development positive in Thailand even though the state does not legalize.
It's a good thing that most countries in Asia are now accepting and developing cryptocurrency. Maybe because the effect on huge countries is visible despite the banning of other Asian countries. I hope they could completely legalize the adaption of cryptocurrency and see how it could affect their economy positively. The government will surely interfere but as long as they aren't banning main exchanges, the cryptocurrency will continuously grow and develop in a country.
1331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: June 11, 2022, 03:08:10 PM
Every dip is an opportunity no doubt but then aside the fact that people are scared of taking risks at the right time and start asking certain questions as to when to buy or when to sell, it would be good to know that the dip in most cases favors those with funds and not those with little. When your capital is already invested in crypto and a sudden dip comes in, people become caught up in the point of "should I sell now "?. So it's either they take the little profit at the time and not become greedy or they sell at little loss instead of hoping and hoping that it would go back up. They could also hodl but for those with a lot of funds they could also hodl and at the same time buy more when it dips. So every dip is an opportunity but it mostly favors those with enough funds
During the dip, people are having a hard time making decisions because of fear but they easily make up their own minds when the market recovers and buy during the bull season which makes them lose a lot. When others are in fear, wise investors must take advantage of the market. Buy potential coins which we know can recover after the bear season and hold them until the bull market approaches.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: June 11, 2022, 02:40:24 PM
^^ It's a hard and very expensive lessons for everyone, but I guess it's inevitable. I'm just having thoughts of it collapsing in a bull run? Will it has a chance to bounce back?

Nevertheless, as majority of us see, billions wipe out in matter of weeks. And then Do-Kwon has the audacity to revived it with Luna 2.0. But I doubt that investors are going back to crypto market as what happen has a foot print. The effect and the damage was too much and it might really scare away newbie investors.

The damage has been done so I guess it's already over for Luna. The investors won't trust them again because of what happened and we can't blame them for that because they have lost a lot. However, I don't think it will stop old investors would get rid of investing with other altcoins because of what happened. Old investors experienced things like these before so they already know that it's part of the risk of crypto investment.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: June 11, 2022, 02:07:01 PM
The lesson is be rich enough to take a private plane or ship into international waters for your gambling needs, then you are legal.   Lots of things are quite unfair if you dont have money, I wouldnt worry too much about your gambling usage just dont hold too much at once is probably the solution I guess but mostly you should not be hassled in any more moderate solution.
I'm not planning to hold a large balance because technically, I'm still accessing the website from a restricted country, thus breaking their TOS, not sure how applicable this is after using Cloudflare's DNS though, but generally, I'd rather be cautious. However, my question is, does TrustDice or any other website still see my actual IP address, knowing that I'm bypassing my country's block?
If you are masking your real IP, they will not be able to see it, but there's a risk that's why you should be ready on the sanction since you knowingly access the stie even if your country are ban from accessing it. Sometimes, we just have to find a way to enjoy it even if it's not allowed, but we should be responsible enough to accept the consequences.

Sad to say but gamblers from gambling-restricted countries will surely have trouble and yes, the only option might you have is to play in a nonrestricted country which will cost you a lot. Most gambling sites also don't allow the use of VPN since it's against their TOS. Another option that you can try is to reach out for help from the Casino.
1334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading: My First Proper Attempt in Learning on: June 11, 2022, 01:10:27 PM
That's really a bad way to start trading, those called novice, professional, expert traders isn't a dumb person who want to teach you free and wasting their time to you, because they can maximize their times to be productive and earn more money. Even those expert traders want to teach you by opening a private course, is still doesn't make sense because if you can earn money by daily trading, why do you open a private course?

Her strategy of teaching will take you a lot of time before you learn your target knowledge. You should've told her the exact thing that you want to learn and things that are related to that because as you've mentioned, you've been trading for years so studying the basics will only be a waste of time for you. You should have asked her the lessons that you really want to learn to maximize your time frame of learning. Trading is a long process of learning but since you have experience, I think strategies and technical analysis would suit you.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 11, 2022, 12:44:38 PM
snip
That's because they see examples of their friends who play gambling and can win some money through gambling. Maybe if they change their mindset and don't risk losing money through gambling, they can still save the money for tomorrow. They also do not try to gamble and will stay away from it. Playing slots and other gambling games is okay as long as we can control ourselves so we don't get addicted.

As for me, it isn't the game that has a problem, it's the gamblers who can't control themselves from playing too much without noticing its negative effects on them physically and mentally. Slots will never be a problem as long as a gambler enjoys them positively and knows how to control themselves from greed and overplaying.
1336  Local / Pilipinas / Re: NEW MARCOS ADMIN, OPEN TO DIGITAL CURRENCY on: June 10, 2022, 05:44:07 PM

1337  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 10, 2022, 04:46:47 PM
Cashless policy can be easily practiced in some advanced countries like America, some parts of Europe, China etc but the basic challenge with some 3rd world country are literacy issue and poor network in which will not make it easy for transactions to be carried out...

To pursue a cashless policy there are necessary things needed such as electricity and internet connection as well as gadgets which is a struggle for people living in 3rd world countries. No matter how we push it, if some people aren't capable no matter how we educate them, there will still be conflicts in the end. I guess some countries should have to solve some issues first to make this policy possible.
1338  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 10, 2022, 04:25:33 PM
Quote
The key to get rich in crypto is to always seize in every market crash because aside from the fact that you can maximize your purchase, your expected profits will definitely increase and become huge. The reason why we should always be greedy when bitcoin price continues to drop, even if others have become fearful. The more bitcoin we can add on in our portfolio, the safer our investments, the brighter our future will be.

They say that the bigger risk, the bigger the rewards that we could gain. Sometimes, fear keeps us away from financial freedom. Because of the fear of the bear market, we always miss the chance of accumulating coins at a cheaper price and buying them during the bullish season because of the fear of missing out which is a common mistake. If we want good profit, we have to face our fears and buy potential coins that we trust.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 10, 2022, 03:32:52 PM
I'd like to place a big bet of 50-100k, else done something like this?

feel free to message me or comment below  Smiley

This is my message to you. This amount you want to borrow on loan is too much to throw into a betting game. Remember it is not a guarantee that the money used in gambling will come back in winning to you. You may see the game like a banker but it outcome is not sure. Take a deep breath even if you an addict, don't throw such huge amount into gambling whose chances of winning are not in your hands but just a lucky tried.

Loaning just to have capital in gambling is like borrowing something and your payment will rely on your luck. It's fine to take loans but it also depends on your purpose. Loaning for business would sound better but borrow for gambling will be a riskier decision. Lots of gamblers who gambled using borrowed funds have regrets and suffered after losing.
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 10, 2022, 03:03:17 PM
What if the kid using a filter to make him looks like an adult and then the video he used to fake the biometric verification? I think it's kinda possible if the site only ask the biometric verification without ID. We're in 21st century and technology are improve really lot every year, anyone can use any tools that appeared in the google. There's nothing to stop this, except he's.
That cant be. That was only possible if you will be asked to upload your own selfie or video but this was real time as on what is stated. There will be no options for editing other than the capture button on the center. They are then going to compare it to the image shown in the i.d's, so there is no way that the kid can fake this out. This is a new kind of technology, means it is more intelligent than the previous ones.

My salute to the German country for implementing such a thing. I guess minors being involved in gambling is now rampant there and this is not good. That is why they are doing what they can to stop this problem. it's a big help for the parents.

Yes, the real-time verification process is unedited and cannot be filtered. I hope that countries that struggle with the same thing will also ask for a verification process to control the increasing number of minors getting involved in gambling. No matter how parents monitor their children, the exposure to gambling ads is everywhere on the internet so the government or gambling sites must also do their part to be responsible for solving this issue.
