1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 03, 2022, 02:58:54 PM
Gambling isn't hereditary but we can influence our family members especially if gambling is already part of our daily routine. For example, a father who is into cock fighting and will always ask his son to feed his roosters, I'm sure that the father could influence his son to gamble because of their lifestyle. However, a son can have a choice of whether to follow in his father's footsteps or not. Gambling doesn't run in the blood.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: July 02, 2022, 07:01:52 PM
Bitcoin has broken the all time high of 2017 and now it is around 19,000$. The worst part is that even on these level, we are not seeing any pumps and look like price may fall all the way to 10,000$ or even lower.
Once bitcoin was at 69,000$, who would have thought that bitcoin will go so low so fast ?  Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?
Bitcoin didn't disappoint me but my wrong decisions did. I have known Bitcoin years before its ATH last 2017 but I doubted it. I thought of it as a scam and ended up missing the opportunity to buy. I was surprised and filled with regrets when it reached its first highest peak. I thought Bitcoin was a big joke before but that idea just slapped me so hard. From then on, I waited for the price to drop down and started buying it with the hope of gaining a good profit despite my previous mistake.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt-coin do you trust the most? on: July 02, 2022, 06:09:31 PM
Choosing huge potential coins will surely benefit us in the long run. Ethereum has been one of the most trusted coins since cryptocurrency existed.
It never loses its track to be on top because of its capability. It might be down at the moment but it still never fails every time the market recovers. Accumulating Ethereum during this bearish season will be an advantage.
1264  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: July 02, 2022, 05:29:41 PM
The act of investing involves putting money, effort, or even time into purchasing an asset in the hopes of making a profit that is more than what was first invested. Investing helps to improve the economic growth of the nation and create more job opportunities for the citizens.

It could help investors only if they're taking profit from it. It will benefit people and would have a good economic impact. If lots of people are investing in crypto, that simply means that they trust it and they entrust their funds to it. In the long run, it will help the economy survive especially now that the inflation rate is increasing.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: July 02, 2022, 04:26:13 PM
The journey won't be a straight line, so for anyone who can be patient and play along will benefit from it. If you are buying now then be sure to wait for or buy more at certain average prices. Truly the bottom is not here yet, so it's better to careful and watch the price movement.

It's too important that we know how to analyze the market movement but buying while the price is low without waiting for the bottom isn't a bad decision because it's still good for a long-term investment. You could still gain a good profit when the market recovers. Things will depend on our target profit and investment time frame.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever thought of doing your thesis on Gambling ? on: July 02, 2022, 03:39:31 PM
Not all degree will allow you to make a thesis about gambling stuff especially your degree has nothing to do about it. If you're an IT, economic and law degree, then it's possible you create a thesis about gambling. However it also depends on where you live, if you live in where gambling are prohibited, then your thesis will got auto rejected.
Thesis on gambling can be done in all discipline the key factor is finding how it help tackle gambling addiction as it is more of a global concern therefore will fit into any discipline at all .  I don't think any country will reject  thesis on gambling no matter how strict their laws are on gambling because it is done as a research that will give even a better conclusion on how to handle gambling in their locality.

It's actually a good thesis topic but you have to be well prepared to defend it. Studies about gambling and gambling addiction would sound new in universities and colleges because it's too broad. It will take a lot of time to research and do a series of studies but it will surely be an interesting thesis.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you all think on: July 01, 2022, 05:46:00 PM
This question is for those that are into crypto for many years already, does low daily volume means a project is bad?

It doesn't necessarily mean that the project is bad if the volume is low, it is more likely that the economic condition of the project is very bad since there is no influx of demand for the project.

A project with a good use case but still very young is now plagued with low trading volume, is this the end or there is hope?.

No the end of the rope is when the project developers and community gave up.  Probably they need to reassess their marketing strategy.  After all exposure, promotion, and audience adoption are planned and executed by the marketing department.

It also depends on their time frame. If a project has been launched for a long time but there's still no improvement and development on its trading volume, I think that's the time where we could say that it's not a good project. Some projects still need promotions and advertisements but if different types of exposure have been done and the trading volume is still low, maybe investors don't trust the potential of the project.
1268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: July 01, 2022, 04:21:27 PM

Cz is completely correct. I have always told the people who thinks that some kind of algorithm controls the bitcoin that they are wrong. It is me and you who increases and reduces the price of Bitcoin.
The example of buy vote and sell vote is exactly what is driving bitcoin price.
And the we are even more safe because the whales need a larger vote to manipulate the bitcoin market. So, if you keep voting for sell, you are giving whales more opportunities to control the votes.
Be calm and buy as much as you can now it is still affordable.
I had the same thought, and I know there should be a course of all these market trashes. We will continue to be patient, but the option of purchasing more at this time is not fully acceptable to me because I am afraid to sell the ones I have..
It's normal to feel anxious about the current market condition but we should learn from our past experiences where we missed the opportunity to buy during the bear season because of fear. Most of us have missed gaining a huge profit during the ATH because of our doubts about Bitcoin. We have seen its potential for years and we have heard negative headlines about it yet it never fails to reach a good price every time the market recovers so I think it's the best time to be brave enough to invest.
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 01, 2022, 03:10:46 PM
What is your opinion on Fake money gambling apps, do you recognize the potential I think they have to assist in reducing the number of gamblers who loose real money?
It seems that the apps that you lists came from big companies. So, my expectations was wrong as I thought you are talking about those apps that we see on the advertisements on youtube and on the apps that we download on our phone. Gambling apps like slots, bingo, card games, and fish shooter.

You cannot deposit real money on them except you can pay to remove ads and to increase your in game money which is still a fake money. They are fun and effective to kill the time but not as effective to permanently stop gambling since the games or the graphics offered on these apps are totally different from the gambling site that we are playing.

They're just normal games that could kill time but a person who is already addicted to gambling won't be contented in it. They will always look for some games where they could bet. It will only make their condition worse. I guess focusing on other things can lose their focus and their craving for gambling.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win on: July 01, 2022, 07:07:45 AM
It's my first time hearing about the site and to be honest, it's too frustrating if a site won't pay you with such a big amount after you trusted them. As I've seen, there is already negative feedback about the site which has been working for three years. I hope you were aware of it. That's why it's too important to check the reputation of the site first before depositing.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 01, 2022, 06:35:37 AM
All the things you said. Not all people like sharing their data with some random people. Some probably don't have any valid ID. Others are probably gambling from a region where online gambling is prohibited. While there are people that are too lazy to verify their identification (i bet everyone would prefer playing in a casino where there is no KYC). And the rest do it to hide their identity for some shady reasons I guess.
As you said because indeed when you do KYC then all the collected identities can be sold at a low price or it can be expensive on the black market and of course when your data is leaked it will make the privacy of playing at the gambling place disturbed because of the possibility when in government circles began to gamble and become a scandal it would bring shame to him. I think there are already some gambling places that don't implement such KYC and still it's safe to use.
That could happen if you're with an untrusted and nonreputable site that would ask for KYC. If you're using a trusted site, you have nothing to fear because your personal data would be safe. Many of us have proven that since we've passed the KYC from big casino sites before. Just be wise in choosing a trusted casino site.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Among all which do you hold on: June 30, 2022, 04:47:03 PM
I find it too risky to trade even with top coins during this market season so I prefer holding good coins. My personal choices are ETH, BNB, and BTC. I bought and have been holding these coins because I already experienced gaining good profit in these coins. I just took the bear season as a chance to buy while they're cheap and would sell them when the market situation gets better. I'm just applying the basics of trading as of now.
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help and advice about crypto investment on: June 30, 2022, 03:56:27 PM
Guys, has anyone heard smth about Intelfin Group companies? I read the reviews, it seems fine. They work with crypto. The yield is around 13% per month. Their plans seem to be serious. They even do co-financing. I'm lost whether to try or not. I 'd be grateful for any info. Here's the firm’s link: https://intelfin.io/

The offer is too good to be true and from then, you have to think twice. Reading reviews isn't enough because you aren't sure if those reviews are reliable. There are a few projects that offered high-interest rates during the ATH a few years ago but ended up scamming investors so you must be careful. In the market situation that we have right now, 13% interest is too high.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to control Gambling behaviors? on: June 30, 2022, 03:41:59 PM
Knowing the negative impact of too much gambling on our finances, family, relationship, and business are reasons enough for us to quit gambling. When we could feel that we're really into gambling to the point that we're having a hard time controlling it, then that's the time that we should quit. We can do it by considering our future. Some people might say that it's hard for a gambling-addicted person to quit and stop but f it's necessary then we shouldn't have a second thought.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Had you ever x10,000? on: June 30, 2022, 03:09:06 PM
I found a way to roll bets really fast, between 6 and 7 bets/second, that's how this multiplier was possible with the right patience.

This is massive. Congratulations seoincorporation. In one of the slot games I played some days back, I got x500. This is the highest I have gotten so far in my betting experience. It was not with a lot of money like yours which is 20,000 bets. I interested in knowing how you were able to roll bets really fast, between 6 and 7 bets/second ?

I'm starting to believe that things work well for people who are literally lucky in gambling. I haven't won x500 or x10000 though I'm always trying my luck. I've done rolling bets fast and did it the other way but I guess I'm still far from my lucky day. This is inspiring though. Congratulations, Op.
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT's are a bigger scam than LUNA/UST on: June 29, 2022, 04:49:36 PM
Not all NFTs are scams, I hate the fact that NFTs can be created by anyone and some idiots don't mind buying from anyone either, what makes a Gold so valuable? It's because it's useful and very rare to find, if everyone has Golds in their backyard the value will drop insanely, well most NFTs are Gold that everyone has in their backyard.

There are still lots of NFTs that aren't scams but mismanagement is usually the problem. The developers failed in handling the game which has a huge impact on their coin. Also, we can't deny the fact that many scammers have used NFTs to fool and scam people. Maybe that's the reason why many investors are accusing NFTs of scams.

What is your opinion on Fake money gambling apps, do you recognize the potential I think they have to assist in reducing the number of gamblers who loose real money?

This is my first time hearing about Fake money gambling applications.
And by calling it fake, how do you consider them to have any potential at all?

If you mean a simulator for Gambling, that's a different thing and I feel that is like training yourself for the actual field with more money later on.
It can harm in both ways..

Fake money gambling applications will only attract you to do actual gambling. It will not help you quit but rather gets you closer to real gambling. If you want to quit from gambling, focus on controlling your emotions and stay away from anything that will push you to gamble.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with daily usability on: June 29, 2022, 03:12:23 PM
Given that Bitcoin is considered a store of value, can you use a cryptocurrency that can guarantee day-to-day usability? How to go to bakeries, fill up the car, travel, etc? Do you know any coins like this?

When it comes to daily usability, the best coin we have is bitcoin. This is because bitcoin has the highest acceptance rate in the world, the second could be ethereum and probably a few others. Every other altcoin are held for investment purposes and not for their usability. The world is yet to accept cryptocurrency and this could be tied to the fact that the market is volatile in nature.

Bitcoin has been really functional. It's being used to purchase different stuff and even being used to pay for services. There are just limits since not all business types accept cryptocurrency. In our country, we're able to pay our bills using Bitcoin which is really convenient. I'm sure that there will come a time that even huge businesses would mind accepting cryptocurrencies.
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To build your Professionalism on casino on: June 28, 2022, 05:39:12 PM
Quote
6. If you lose your assets then don’t pursue the losses
Knowing our limits is too important for us to control ourselves from too much gambling. Sometimes as we try to win back our assets, we tend to lose more and we lose more than our allocated funds for gambling. Self-control and self-discipline are needed not for us to be professional gamblers but successful in it. It could minimize our losses.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 28, 2022, 03:58:37 PM
I'm a conservative gambler. I love exploring and trying new games being endorsed and promoted online. I usually get curious whenever I see an unfamiliar game or something that sounds new. I always seek new experiences and explorations because I want my gambling journey to be more exciting and thrilling.
