341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stratis speculation on: November 22, 2016, 05:53:24 AM
I'm think around 7000-7500 could be a good level to buy, if it gets there
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Stratis speculation thread link, in here :) on: November 22, 2016, 05:07:03 AM
There is a Stratis speculation thread in the speculation forum  too, if anyone wants to speculate. That way we can leave this thread for other discussions Smiley

343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: November 22, 2016, 05:02:46 AM
I hate to say this, but I literally predicted this hours before the big dump started happening last week.   It was pure common sense that some of the internal powers that be were artificially pumping the price at regularly scheduled intervals until it hit critical mass and they began the dumps.  Charts and trends don't lie.   Now many of the ICO holders, seeing as how the price has dropped more than 50% in a week will continue dumping at an accelerated rate in order to cash out while they still have skin in the game and can make a profit.  Expect further mass dumps to take place in the immediate future.
How do you know what the ICO holders will do. I bought in the ICO and I doubt i will be selling at these levels  (8300 sats). I might but I doubt it.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth About Monero's Risto Pietila (rpietila XMR) on: November 22, 2016, 03:36:51 AM
Risto buys over 200,000 XMR. Now he intends to pump n dump again with same tactic. He tells everyone it will rise 1000x (netting him ~350 Million dollars if that were to become true  Roll Eyes  )

Pump and dump again??
Do you really believe Risto caused Bitcoin to go up? Monero?

Lot's more people that Risto saw the potential of Bitcoin and Monero (wasn't Gavin Anderson one?)

Seems to me he had a view, voiced it and was right about the timing and the direction... twice.
If you'd followed his advice on timing and direction you would have done very well. Price targets are known to be harder to calculate, so all in all it has been good advice.

Risto...if you are reading this I'd love to know if you ever have another trading idea. I won't blame you if it doesn't work, but I'd love to know.
You are welcome to PM me if you like. Smiley
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth About Monero's Risto Pietila (rpietila XMR) - warning on: November 22, 2016, 02:24:49 AM
The funny thing is Risto is an intelligent

Then how did he get himself in such troubles?
It is normal for a person to have trouble in life. If you are not having problems you are not a person.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ZCash...500 BTC worth mined every day? on: November 21, 2016, 07:00:27 PM
Zcash is trading at 0.075 BTC.

7200 Zcash are mined each day. About 500 BTC worth. About $350,000 each day

The founders reward is 20% for the next 4 years.

Therefore if prices stay where they are the founders will get about $70,000  every day for the next 4 years.

Is that right?

347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trading advice needed for zcoin on: November 21, 2016, 03:29:41 PM
7200 new coins released every day for the next 4 years!!!

Who will buy all these coins every day for the next 4 years?

5.5 bitcoins worth every day.  $4000 worth of new coins every day.

Founders get 20%. At the current "low" price the founders will get $800 USD every day for the next 4 years.

Every day these coins are getting dumped. Why buy it?
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: November 21, 2016, 08:43:41 AM
I didn't read the whole thread but I assume the BTC/IXC riddle was solved long ago
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: November 21, 2016, 08:36:20 AM
Stratis went up very fast. It's just natural that at some point it comes down a bit.

I think what is important is to clearly explain why it is better to have it in C sharp. We know that this is a major language used by businesses, but can we explain the specifics of why that is different and better?

I think it would help to explain in "non tech" language what this means.....so that anyone could understand it
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: November 21, 2016, 04:31:36 AM

Yes.... there is a slack group too.
Can someone please help our friend with a slack invite link. I am behind a firewall ATM which wont let me even access the opening post, or slack.

I am writing with the help of Google Translator because I can not speak English Cry I do not know how to staking. Can I tell you more about it? As if to explain to the child. Even if staking is over, I want to know for the future. thank you.
What is your first language?

Do you have your wallet set up on your computer with coins in it?

It is Korean. My stratis is kept in bittrex.

You must put a wallet on your own computer, and put your coins in it.

You cannot stake with your coins on Bittrex.
Do you have Windows or Mac?

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Example of Dapps that are up and running? on: November 21, 2016, 01:07:42 AM

Crazy dumping just happened  Huh

strange reaction to the good news!?  Undecided

It's quite normal for some traders to buy in anticipation of news and then sell on that news. Nothing to worry about so far

Really?

Your activity score is 287, but most of your activity was posting sports scores. It looks odd. What was that all about?
Thanks..A lot of the "users" who got coins all registered here on the same day April 27 2014.

Looks very odd.

Here are some of the accounts that received coins

359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin - The Zerocoin cryptocurrency, guaranteeing financial privacy on: November 18, 2016, 06:35:41 PM
Are we touching the floor?
Total market cap once all 21 million coins are released is under $12M now I think.
So pricewise it's more reasonable, but still priced for success.

your forgetting that the final coin amount will be in around 9 years.. thats when we will have 21mil

from here it will take us 2months to go from 400k coins to 800k coins.

so give it 7months and we will have around a 800,000usd market cap. tiny for the tech, in comparison to what zcash will have.. around 300million
Market capilalisation is a measurement designed for equities not for crypto currencies. It is seriously flawed if one uses it to value crypto coins IMHO

360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcoin - working implementation of the Zerocoin protocol (vs Zcash and others) on: November 18, 2016, 04:34:02 AM
I was a pretty early investor and miner in DASH, XC, VCASH and bought enough XMR before the darknet pump and I'm amazed how undervalued and underhyped this project actually is (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zcoin/). .
I don't think looking at the current market cap is the most helpful way to look at the value.
So few coins have been released.
IMHO market capitalisation is a good tool for equities, as on most occaisions (witha few less important exceptions) whenever new shares are issued there is an injection of capital.

With POW crypto coins new coins are mined every day, yet there is no new injection of capital.

The best way IMHO is to look at the capitalisation of the total coins to be released (assuming there is no interest to be paid)
If there is interest to be paid one can look at the total coins and make an adjustment for interest.

Here we have a total marketcap of around $15m, on a largely untested coin and with at least one odd thing happening (the coverup re bounties).

I'd like to know what happened after Oct 20
