341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoin with BTC ? on: September 13, 2017, 06:13:59 PM
Yes I do the same as most of the other members replying in this thread I trade altcoins with btc because my primary purpose is to increase the amount of my bitcoins if I get lucky to have a successful trade. I find it to be the best option among others. I have bitcoins so it's simple depositing btc and withdrawing the profits.

I also trade my altcoins with bitcoins as a source of bitcoin and money as well. In fact, my main purpose why I joined altcoin signature campaigns is to earn bitcoin and also because the chances of gaining more bitcoin by trading is higher than joining bitcoin signature campaigns.

Earning altcoins is more fun to me because I get to decide every move in order for me earn bitcoin. I also like learning and being in altcoin campaigns has showed me trading.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: September 13, 2017, 12:18:44 PM
I keep my bitcoins using an online wallet.  Ever since I  joimed this forum I have been using online wallets but I think I will try online wallets because my friend told me that it is more secure and reliable.  I still remember when a certain online wallet site announced that there is going to be a problem with their site.

It caused stress to me because my bitcoins are stored in there.  Good thing,  I  was with my friend and he recommended to use offline wallets.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: September 13, 2017, 05:21:09 AM
Analysis on gambling is important because gambling works in numbers. You need analization, you need to analyze it for you to understand what card or dice you have. Those experts uses analization for them to analyze the number for them to make patterns on their card, end up winning the game.

Analysis is definitely need when it comes to gambling. We can't just rely our faith to win in luck. Many people will say that luck is more important than analysis in playing gambling but I think its the other way around. Using analysis in the game will give better chances of winning and will enable the gambler to apply any method or strategy he knows.

I think there is a movie like that, in order to beat the house, the players look for patterns. It looks really amazing but I don't know if mathematics can truly be used in that.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: September 13, 2017, 04:50:41 AM
yes it is very sucks if the price drops that we can do only to hold and wait for prices to rise again, to trade must have skill and strategy also read the market but it can all be an experience for you  and can fix the failure
Yeah the trading is very sucks because I experienced many times to lose my money. I regret the time that the coin that I hold is became 300% of its price after I sell my coins. I can say that I am now rich if I have a lot of patience.

That naturally happens, sometimes when you already sold your coin, the market price will suddenly go up. Also, sometimes when you need money or when you want to sell some coins, the market price will be on its lowest. I have lots of patience but I don't think my ways in trading or how I do trading is what really sucks.

I am continuously reading about trafing, hoping that I may come out with something that way I can help myself save money.

346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: September 08, 2017, 02:30:45 PM
I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?
Both trading and holding your bitcoin is profitable but the difference is holding your btc will takes time in order for you to gain profit while in trading you gain within an instant profit especially if the coin you were trading is in pump. Regarding to the risk trading is more risky compared in holding because in trading is unpredictable job so you must keep updated in the market.

I totally agree with that. I have been trading and I have noticed and experienced the things you have mentioned. But I also want to add that there are times where trading altcoin is profitable but will also take time just like holding bitcoin. Altcoins are more likely to suffer a sudden pump and dump compared to bitcoin. I have also noticed that a little difference in the market price of altcoin have a huge different in price.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 08, 2017, 02:15:25 PM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.
For me, bitcoin is good investments. I guess if I am not mistaken many become rich because of holding bitcoins for a long time. Aside from that bitcoins has big interest compare to money when storing at the bank. It has only a little interest rate and it just like putting your money with nothing.

Another thing or reason why bitcoin is a goos investment is that its price is volatile. It means to me that the market price of bitcoin can continue to grow or rise just like what happened for the last years. Its volatility is what making it more important and more preferable than the fiat currency.

Investing in bitcoin is investing for the future and if I would be ask between banks and bitcoin, I am going to choose bitcoin.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: September 08, 2017, 02:00:58 PM

Yes it certainly does. If the price of the bitcoin is high it is good for me to use it for gambling because it means I can win higher by using higher amount of bitcoin. Other than that, for a certain equivalent amount I will need less bitcoin.

I don't usually gamble with bitcoin and I really do prefer using fiat. The volatility will surely make me regret if I wasted my bitcoin for gambling.
349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: September 08, 2017, 01:41:22 PM
I think it is real that a person can be a millionaire by simply participating in Bitcoin activities though he needs to be smart.  Bitcoin had been known for its high volatility so if a person knows how to take advantage of it then there is a huge possibility that he can earn huge money save it and become a millionaire one day.

I strongly agree with that. It is true that people, we, can be millionaires with the help of bitcoin. I know people who have been successful becase of bitcoin while some people is on their way. Bitcoin had given many people and is continuously giving opportunities to have a stable financial source ofnincome and to have financial freedom. This is really true because I personally know some people who have been successful because of it.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: September 08, 2017, 01:26:17 PM
I will not quit, not until i earn much from trading. I should try more to get what i want. I should try other strategies to improve my techniques. If others can do it, maybe i can do it also. I just need more time and money.

You might have lost a lot before you learn how to trade.
Yes! that’s what exactly happened to him. Probably he started trading without any preparation or home work. Trading is not fun at all; you need to work hard in order to understand the basic principles of trading. There is no need to quit trading at all, just increase your knowledge about trading and then give it a try.

Before trading, one must first have a basic knowledge about. Without it, it is very hard to understand how trading is being done. Indeed, trading is not fun but it is not a joke as well. If you will not be serious about it, you should not also start with it. I believe that experience is the best teacher and in every failure we made, we are going to learn a thing or two. This is what happened to me in trading, I have made mistakes or errors but I make sure that I know where I have been wrong to avoid doing it again.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 08, 2017, 12:50:04 PM
I'm not a good one, when it comes to calculate right moment to buy or sell. I try to analyse before making a move, but sometimes invalid calculation causes delay of profit or it immediately causes loses.
In buying or selling bitcoin with the price right now that is expensive at some point is hard to analyzed. But if we can predict the future price ahead we still can earn profit. If buying now for sure we can still earn as the value will be skyrocket for hodling.
If we want a less risky investment then holding it will be the best option. As much as possible if there's no need to buy stuffs immediately, why not wait for a little longer when the value reaches high. Make more savings no than spending. It will worth a wait.

This is what most of the newbies do. Buying unnecessary things and spending for things that are not important. Others may treat these as gifts for themselves but for others it is just for luxury. It will be better to hold bitcoin now. The price maybe unstable and is very volatile but looking at the history of bitcoin will make you see that since then the market price had risen and bitcoin had been very successful.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 08, 2017, 09:58:14 AM
When prices are falling you either hold or buy. You should sell if the price is still near the peak and then buy at the bottom of the low, to make the biggest profit.

Yeah. That is the best choice to do, either you hold it or buy more if you have some capital to do so. This way, you could make some profits in the long run without making any sweat and it is much safer than gambling, though patient is a virtue here since it might take some time before another PUMP after a huge DUMP.

When it comes to trading, it is very important to sell high and then buy at low price. Other than that, we can also hold especially if we don't need the money at that time. Another thing, what we should do is to hold our emotions. In trading, our emotions can easily be played off especially when monitoring the market price. If we are not able to hold or control it, a sudden change or decrease in the price might make you click the sell button.

Trading without caution and most importantly without knowledge will surely leads to loss opportunity in gaining profit
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Biggest problem you have with trading / exchanging? on: September 03, 2017, 09:29:11 PM
I'm curious if other people are having similar challenges. But,
what is your BIGGEST problem with trading crypto coins and exchanging overall?

Your feedback would be appreciated.

The fee, some exchanges even have a really big fee just for selling our coins on that site. I still remember when i want to sell 7000 coin and the fee is 0.0035 for the trading, its hella big. The second one is bot, i'm sure there are bots on trading site, y what the hell when i pick buy order and suddenly there is an order above me with 1 satoshi different.

I totally agree with that, exchangers have high fees that sometimes it consumes the money you are withdrawing. As far as I know, it was not like this before the fees are lower and is on the right amount for the traders not to be concerned like this. Aside from that, one of my biggest problem also is the internet connection here in our province. I remember that time when a certain coin that I was selling was opened to its max price on another exchanger but because of the poor connection, I wasn't able to register and log in for two hours. At the time that I was logged in, the price of that coin is now already half of the max price. I was frustrated by that time because I just loss the good opportunity to sell my coins at a great price.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 03, 2017, 09:19:12 PM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.

My biggest regret about bitcoin is that it was introduced to me last two years ago but I did not bother checking if it is true and trying it also. It was recommended by a friend but I thought that it is hard and I am also doubting myself if I can do what he was doing. If only I believed at that time, I must have save a lot of bitcoin and cash by now and totally be experiencing financial freedom. Lesson learned, now I am working hard to earn bitcoin while studying even if my schedule are tight and I have lots of school works.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: September 03, 2017, 09:09:25 PM
certainly for those who are bitcoin laymen will need time to have confidence in bitcoin, and currently there are relatively few bitcoin users of the population in the world. but over time of course bitcoin progress will continue to increase to become a global currency.

Right, bitcoin is popular but will still get popular in the future and the more popular it be the more user it will get. Bitcoin is still not known to other countries but as soon as many people recognizes its value and importance it will be used worldwide. In my country, its use is not yet legalize by the government but many people used it already. In fact, I know some people who became rich because of earning bitcoin and another thing is that I think that if many people will be able to earn bitcoin, they will be able to support themselves.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: September 03, 2017, 08:59:37 PM
I don't think anyone can do this, gambling is the way for us spend the money even we can win but in gambling most of the people will lose, you must choice one of that if want to save money. easy don't ever touch gambling.

I can't agree with that because I personally think that a person can save money while playing gambling if he nicely consider the proper allotment of his money into sections also called partitioning. Planning the consumption of your money and is making sure that there is an amount allotted for savings first will make sure that you have saved. After that, setting priorities of payments like bills, allowance and etc. If there is still some amount or extra amount left then he can decide if it will be used for gambling.
357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any recommended amount or percentage of each coin you should hold? on: September 03, 2017, 08:49:21 PM
Who exactly would make such a recommendation and why would anyone listen to it? Obviously if I'm recommending an altcoin it's because I own some of it and want the price to go up. Make your own decisions.

Right, the amount of coins that will be hold totally depends on the owner of the coins. Why such asked an obvious question anyway? Things like this should be personally decided by the owner and not be recommended or should not be asked for recommendation from total strangers. It definitely depends on the owner whether to hold all or just a part of his coins.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin the new gold on: September 03, 2017, 08:29:26 PM
You can not compare gold and bitcoin. Bitcoin is only a digital currency. Gold is a
precious metal and is used for eg PCBs

Maybe the OP was comparing bitcoin and gold regarding their values or the market prices. We know how valuable gold is when it comes to the physical world. In fact, many people is so much interested in gold and some people fights over gold. When it comes to the digital word, bitcoin is a very valuable coin just like gold. It is the most popular digital currency and we know its value in the market.

Both bitcoin and gold is very important and valuable, the difference is that gold is more known by people than bitcoin. Not all people knows about bitcoin as well as the other crypto.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustration in betting. on: September 03, 2017, 08:16:04 PM
For me personally if i get frustrated in a bet on one gambling site, i don't focus too much on the site to keep on figuring out how to get more chances to win. I prefer to look for other opportunities on other sites other than the site that frustrates me, or sometimes i doing other something than betting to eliminate that flavor.

It's actually advisable to completely quit when you're experiencing any sign of frustrations while gambling, chances are that it might not be your lucky day and the more you try to gamble the more you might loose out and be more frustrated so in my opinion just quit and do something else or probably sleep.

I agree with that. Frustration betting would likely leads to money loss. A gambler should just stop playing if he knows that his mind is not clear and is most likely be to reject loss. Because of frustration, he might loss more than the allotted money for playing gambling.
360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: September 03, 2017, 07:27:43 PM
Day trading is completely fun filled if the price increase happens with time profiting the user involved. One needs to be active and should have a good backing, so that can make a better earning with the price difference taking place between time. To be fun filled, user need to concentrate on the price moves.

I agree with that. A trader should still seeband check the market prices even if he had set his order already. What commonly happen in trading is that the trader sets the order and then leave it off. He will check it and then see that the order has been processed. Sometimes, the market price will get higher than the set order which makes it feel regretful (a little bit) that the price order was set lower.
