When I am trying to avail trail on coinsclone, it shows an Indian whatsapp number, which reminds me about a couple from Madurai city of India who were already reported in this forum about scamming in the name of exchanges.
You mean these?
Spiegel Technologies - Madurai — spiegel technologies - madurai
osiz technologies - madurai - fraud company - nulled scripts - stolen your money

Just with a quick search got these.
3526  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 INVESTING BTC, LTC and DOGE is OPEN NOW on: April 21, 2020, 06:06:18 PM
So, if a player wagers 1000 LTC and loses 5 LTC during that session, the house gets 5 LTC (50% of house edge of the wagered amount) and investors get nothing, right?

And if a player wagers 1000 LTC and wins 5 LTC, the house gets 5 LTC (50% of house edge from wagered amount) and investors lose 10 LTC: 5 LTC to the winning player and 5 LTC to the commission?

Hmm, this does sound right too actually,,, or am I missing something here? So it would appear that as long as the player does not lose more than his expected loss, investors get nothing or lose something?

so in 1000 LTC he needs to lose more than 0.5% for investors to get something?
Is not a system like this is not so fair, investors risk their money, but their money is cut in my opinion such a system is not fair, or how am I wrong in responding?
The system is probably not like that @extremal. I know that is how it was seen when it first started but I doubt they would take money from the investors to their own pockets, which the second option suggests. Think about it, if player wagers 1000 LTC and wins 5 ltc, that means house should be down normally, and I would understand if the investors cover that loss, it makes sense that investors take that risk when investing, however with that logic it says house gets 5 ltc, how could house claim that they could take money from the investors under disguise of house edge?

I am 100% sure they are not doing that, the first one makes sense, if gambler plays 1000 ltc and only loses 5 LTC, house could get all of it, yet do not forget that he could also gamble 1000 ltc and lose 1000 ltc as well, in that scenario we are talking about house getting 5 ltc and investors getting all the rest.
3527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has removed 49 cryptocurrency wallet browser extensions! Good move? on: April 21, 2020, 05:17:59 PM
Google has removed 49 cryptocurrency wallet browser extensions after a security researcher discovered they were stealing private keys. These Chrome extensions targeted users of crypto wallets, such as Ledger, Trezor.

What do you think of this move?
That’s a good thing. I used to think that they are not in support in cryptocurrency, but this shows that they are not against cryptocurrency users and would do anything possible to protect their users. Another thing we all have to know is that, Google will not be able to detect all of them at once. Even as they have dictated and removed these ones, others will still pop out from nowhere and try to do the same thing.

So, anyone that’s making use of these browsers should also be careful of which extensions they use, to avoid being robbed of their money and stuffs like that, or having to deal people that will steal your private information.
3528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just think privacy is more important with financials. on: April 21, 2020, 04:25:33 PM
Government is able to know the transactions you make when you’re making use of an exchange that is centralized. Centralized exchanges always make reports to the government, but decentralized exchanges has nothing to do with the government and they can never tell what’s happening on decentralized exchanges because they have no access to it and does not control it.

So, if you don’t want the activities you’re into in the crypto community to be known by the government, it would be best that you start making use of decentralized exchanges, if not, then you’re still exposed to them by using centralized ones.
3529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: April 20, 2020, 08:41:25 PM
The topic here shouldn't be about how much you can invest into bitcoin to start trading, but the fact that dude basically lost close to a thousand dollars and still wants to invest, maybe we should focus on why you lost to begin with and not how much you should start to reinvest.

First of all I have never seen someone who lost all their money in bitcoin, I have seen people who lost a lot, hell I have seen people who bought at 20k and sold at 5k losing almost third quarters of their investment, yet never seen anyone who have lost all of their money. On top of that I also never really seen anyone who got back up and get in this many times when it is obvious that whatever they are doing doesn't really work. I would say forget about the amount but focus on what you are doing that makes you lose money.

I know this could be a bit too much to ask probably but is it possible to have some sort of links to watch the esports games as well? I can see that there is a lot of eNBA games going on, probably more than regular NBA games we could bet, and unfortunately they do not have the lines we all would wish we could have but that is expected considering this is just a temporary type of hype that we have right now until we can have NBA back.

However since I don't know where to find the games, it makes it harder for me to gamble on something I can't even watch, not can't because it is not aired anywhere, I am sure it airs somewhere but I have no idea where to find them and watch them so if you help me learn where I can find them, I would be willing to first watch some games and learn and later bet on them as well.

@toke
A month ago FJ posted a link to an article on Yahoo Finance where the FJ CEO stated that there was an increase in new users. I think it's safe to say that, with the lack sporting events and the 'stay-at-home' orders enforced in almost every corner of the planet, dice and casino games have indeed seen an influx of new users...But maybe FJ can confirm it in another post (:

I think it's got to be the case everywhere that's doing something to promote online activity, especially in Sportsbooks. Saw a couple more other articles talking about all the sports bookies. And when you think about the NEW sports and games (marbles? damn) now entering into sportsbooks, you know we're getting new communities in here.

Industry's probably hurting now but once everything resumes, they'll have a bigger userbase. Might turn out to be a good thing!
If I am not wrong almost all physical casinos do have some sort of online website as well, nowadays it is not really all that interesting to build one and it is not difficult as well so I am sure either they have one already anyway or they might get one done pretty quickly with all the readymade versions of casinos.

So, they are not totally gone neither, they are still making some money. The difference is the fact that online ones were online long before and got marketing done and getting all the gamblers whereas the physical ones might have online but not promoted it so much so far and they still have to pay for the costs of the physical version as well.

I suppose these places all have made so much money that they could basically handle few months of not making any money, or they would simply fire some workers and send some to unpaid leave so they could continue to make profit off others misery like they always do.
3532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: April 19, 2020, 07:11:56 PM
Taking into consideration the nature and redundancy of Bitcoin technology and the difficulty in scaling, I am very curious to know if Bitcoin protocol will be dropped one day and another coin build to take its place. because now it's almost like the redundancy of Bitcoin and the time it takes for a transaction to be processed is part of what is affecting its mainstream adoption as a currency. please share your thoughts.
I am one of the firm believers of progress and because of that thinking I believe there will definitely something that will overtake bitcoin and even make all cryptocurrencies be worth %1 of what it is worth today. However that is not a coin that I am considering, I am thinking maybe we could have something so unexpected and so unforeseen before that it will be much better than crypto currencies.

If bitcoin is considered better than fiat right now, that means we worked on it and found something that is better, one bitcoin worths thousands of dollars you can see it from that. Yet that doesn't mean that in the far future something much better than crypto couldn't come up, maybe one day someone will create a chip on your arm that you can use to spend everywhere (well that is payment processor and not money but you get it) and suddenly everyone will get it, who knows?
3533  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: April 18, 2020, 06:56:26 PM
It is not a shock to world that banks would eventually move to blockchain, it is basically the best ledger system in the world and it is decentralized as well so you can actually never crack it but also you can never destroy it or never lose it neither. So, all these banks could have their own version of ledgers and literally in a world where technology no longer exists, if they can find just a single computer in all world, they could put the blockchain into USB and then print it whenever they want.

So, this is basically the 100x better version of what they were using which was usually built in house server systems that shows the same thing but much less reliable. This is basically no shock to anyone that banks are starting to use blockchain because why not? It is better after all.

they don’t pay me even my deposit, it’s just a hoax
As far as I know when all the details are investigated and when all of your accounts are unearthed, usually they pay you your money back if you didn't earned anything from that system. Just to give an example, you have 10 accounts, all of them are illegal of course because they are against the rules, and combined they have 100k dollars, now if you end up with a combined 80k instead of profiting from it, that means you may get 80k back.

However there are small details as well, like if you did affiliate to yourself, that will be reclaimed back as well. Long story short, this is not about you being against the rules really, it is more about if you made profit by being against the rules, that is usually what casinos look at, if you lost and help them get more money basically, they won't really care all that much.
3535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: April 18, 2020, 07:08:39 AM
Be careful of the influencers you follow on social media like twitter. There was one who was exposed recently of photoshopping his trades to fool his followers and get more subscribers to his paid group. He said he did that to make the images look better hehe. Please follow this thread https://twitter.com/Trapouts/status/1238598898559488000

Cointelegraph also covered the story https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-analyst-accused-of-photoshopping-trade-screenshots.

There will always be scammers who will take advantage of people's ignorance. Let's prevent that from happening to us by learning how to read charts on our own and not solely rely on free and paid signals from random people on the internet.
I have always known that most of them are fake and are living fake lives on social platforms.
But, when you meet them in real life you will know that they are worse than you lol. There are people who would do anything to just get famous on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

People just need that fame no matter what. When it comes to the cryptocurrency community, there are some influencers I do see and they will be saying things that are not even possible to happen anytime soon or at all. They will just say these things and mislead some of their followers who follow them sheepishly. When these people say something, it's best for you to do your own research and not believe them immediately.
3536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5G & Bitcoin Risks? on: April 18, 2020, 06:36:08 AM
Nah, 5G wouldn't have anything to do with Bitcoin. It is just a network upgrade and will make our browsing speed rate faster. But in the case of Bitcoin, there is no way that they are going to make use of 5G to block the access we have to Bitcoin. If that's how it's going to work, then I believe they would have done that since or doesn't 4G LTE have the same abilities? Except that is slower than 5G?

If it was possible, some people would find a way to bypass the block. You said in a coffee shop right? Most coffee shops do have free WiFi, so the people will make use of WiFi to access it or maybe developers will start creating applications that will make the network not realize which app you're using.
3537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why bitcoin is unique. on: April 16, 2020, 05:34:09 PM
Transfer of more than 1 billion, US dollars, and a commission of 0.7 cents.

Which bank will allow you to do as well?
That is why bitcoin is a great creation.

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/b36bced99cc459506ad2b3af6990920b12f6dc84f9c7ed0dd2c3703f94a4b692
Yup, that's one thing that's unique with cryptocurrency when compared with other payment methods we have. Other payment methods always have a limit to how much you can send at a time and receive. If it's in the bank that you try to make a transfer of 1 billion USD, you will have a lot of questions to answer and papers to fill out and I believe the fees will be high. And you can't make such a transaction with PayPal, and no other transaction methods can help you do this.

But with Bitcoin, nobody tells you what to do, you're the boss and you have complete control over your money, you say how much goes in and out.
3538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should bitcoin not perform now? on: April 16, 2020, 03:04:28 PM
Bitcoin is very good but is the government really ready to adopt it? Is it really what they are looking for?
The government is all about centralization and that doesn't fit in with what Bitcoin represents, which is freedom and decentralization.

So, I don't think any government can adopt it, the best they can do is give people the freedom to make use of Bitcoin or any payment method they decide to use, and then it's up to the people to choose what payment method is best for them in any situation. If the government decides to adopt cryptocurrency, what they will do is to create their own coins and not even adopt Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency; all the countries can't be using the same currency.
3539  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 Up to 30% Rakeback💰$500 Daily Race🔥 on: April 15, 2020, 08:13:28 PM
With races prize pool cut you should also cut number of players that receive reward to top ten positions, more for those who wager the most.
They actually recently increased the winner number from top 30 to top 50 actually making even more people to win something while also dropping the prize amount. I think that makes more sense because you are not giving some people a lot of money but you are giving a lot of people some money, that way they could call on a lot more people to try.

There are only a handful of people who could win the top prize, yet there are a ton of people who could race for the 50th spot, combine all of those people who race to be in the top 50, that would mean a lot more money would be wagered combined compared to just the top 10 people who would gamble anyway and a lot anyway, involving more people would benefit wolf.bet a lot.

Or maybe this is a wrong decision making and they won't and eventually change back, only time will tell.
3540  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: April 15, 2020, 06:06:25 PM
Somebody just hit a 1000x plinko bet with 1 eth and won 999eth in just under 20 tries.
From when the bet was placed, I looked at the statistics page and they had 6 wins and 13 losses of their bets using ethereum.
So that is quite a lucky day for somebody to win around 23btc worth in crypto on the site for a roll which usually takes 100k tries to do. Smiley

Jesus H. Christ son of Marry, that is a whole lot of money, I can't check dude myself because you didn't provided a link (probably best for safety reasons) but if that dude wagered 1 eth 19 times and in return made that many wins... oh my oh my.

23 bitcoins is over 150k dollars! That is literally enough money to never having to work again in some countries (not in big nations of course) think about all the profits you can get just from its savings account interest rate, even that amount is probably enough to hire a full time worker from some third world country to do whatever you want them to do.

A huge sum of money all together has always shocked me, I have seen big wins, I have seen big amounts, but I have never seen any bigger any quicker in my life before, this dude just takes the cake, the greatest gambling win I have ever seen in my entire life.
