2521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 04, 2021, 04:38:04 AM
if it goes in the right direction then I wouldn't mind having a big tax imposed on me, just look at some of the successful and 1st class economy in Europe, they make free healthcare and colleges hell some even pay students to attend college because they have high taxes and people sees the taxes being used the right way.
I also have a similar emotion regarding the taxes, as long as they are being spent on anything that helps my country grow, I am more than willing to pay them but once the taxes are being spent for their own comfort, it becomes a problem to me.

Taxation on gambling is actually not as bad as it might seem because it demotivates the gamblers as they have to pay taxes on winnings while also contributes to the country's growth which sends the appropriate message. Tax must be very consciously set though because if it is set too high for the gamblers, they will find some illegal ways of gambling and elude all the taxes.
2522  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 03, 2021, 08:21:47 PM
Can I ask why the "Wheel of Fortune" feature was implemented via email only and not a built-in feature on one of the drop down menus on Freebitcoi.in? Is it in any way possible to link that feature to your account to enable that for users that get that?

The link in the email just take you to that Url that runs the wheel.... so why not just put that option on the drop down menu for the people that qualify for this?
Freebitco.in is literally giving free prizes for every accounts through WoF so they need to get something back from it. By exclusively sending it only through email, they are encouraging people to enable their email subscriptions so it allow freebitco.in to send promotional emails. This benefits freebitco.in instead of just getting nothing from it by implementing it as a built-in feature in the site
I understand it and I can basically think that it could be profiting just a bit as well. However let's be honest with each other, this is freebitco.in we are talking about and they probably have insane amount of emails already, probably more than everyone in the world except maybe 100 companies (original of course, I am sure there are some data companies that bought emails which doesn't count).

I believe that they really do not need this at all. If the whole thing is about just getting active peoples emails instead of just generally emails, like people who check the same mail once a day for a week or a month, then this is definitely a good way, however there are also a ton of situation in the marketing world that could do that, like give out free prizes for a week or tickets for a free ticket, and that could work? If you give one ticket for free each day for a week, then have a lottery, then that could work too, no need to keep WOF at emails.
2523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saudi Aramco, world’s 3rd largest company, plans to start mining Bitcoin? on: August 02, 2021, 08:55:19 PM
Investing.com reported that the Middle East oil giant, Saudi Aramco, is interested in mining bitcoin, citing information provided by Brazilian Bitcoin miner Ray Nasser in an interview on the Bitcoinheiros YouTube channel.
Countries like Saudi Arabia don’t really have laws that are friendly with Bitcoin, so I don’t know how this is going to work exactly, unless I am wrong about that. I have seen a lot of people Arab countries that have banned bitcoin in the past, so I don’t know if Saudi Arabia is one of them or not, and if they are, then this is not going to work out. And then I don’t know how good this will be to be using gas to mine bitcoin, pardon I am not good at this so I can’t tell which energy source is green or not, but whatever we are considering at this point should be green energy sources that will not be harming our environment in any way. That has been a serious topic for some time and some people have been attacking Bitcoin for the fact that the energy source for mining is not good for the environment.
2524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site for a beginner on: August 02, 2021, 08:25:52 PM
Am new here and will want to know the best gambling site for a newbies that offers the most probably  fair game's and other services such as investment that can yield passive income.
For newbies? Freebitco.in because they both have regular hi/lo which is basically like dice gambling, and have bets that makes it pvp like where people decide the odds basically which allows potential for much higher odds than anywhere else, they have regular lottery which you can get from gambling for free or you can buy, and they have lambo lottery as well which you can earn.

Basically it is all there for taking and on top of that you can do this all for free if you choose to do so, would take a long time to reach a good level so depositing is advised but for newbies they can start for free and learn the ropes there without spending any money and after they are better than they can deposit.
2525  Economy / Speculation / Re: TESLA will re-accept bitcoin & SpaceX owns BTC, said Elon Musk. Ready for pump ? on: August 02, 2021, 06:52:29 PM
There could be some people who mistake it as a bull news and end up buying bitcoin and maybe caused this increase we are seeing these days, but it is not really something that is going to really get way too much attention, it is basically a short temporary thing that people will eventually realize it is not a big deal.
Don't get me wrong I am not against the fact that Elon Musk is doing something that usually helps us, of course there are times when he hurt us as well but that is a bit more rare, however the fact that he is leading in most cases is not really a good thing neither for any of us, it is really a horrible situation that caused us to end up with a horrible drop when we let him do whatever he wants.

I also wouldn't want someone as crazy as him taking the charge neither, if the whole world sees bitcoin and crypto as something "yeah that Elon musk thing?" then I would be very upset about it since dude is a very spoiled brat that took whatever he wanted thanks to his daddies money, meanwhile most people I know in crypto are people who worked really hard to get where they are today.
2526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 02, 2021, 05:59:59 PM
Why did you decide that Dortmund doesn't want to sell Haaland? I doubt that Borussia has the task of winning the Bundesliga next season, or the Champions League, and Haaland will not help in this, because one player will not solve anything for the team. Borussia is just trying to get the maximum price for the player, and they definitely want to sell him while he is at the top of his form.
I agree with you. Dortmund have no hope of winning the title. If they had hoped to win the title, they would have made their squad stronger. But they are not doing that. They just want to do business. At the moment all the clubs are in some financial crisis. They want more than 1500m for Haaland.
Every team is all for the financials of the business and that's it, however even if you are caring for finances so much you still have to get the team better. They lost Sancho this year, I do not know if they will sell Haaland or not but that doesn't even matter, because they got 80+ million for Sancho and they need to buy another player to get that position better again, they did not do anything major until now. That doesn't make sense to me, why would any team sell a player for a lot of money but then do nothing about it?

This is not like some product company where you build something and sell it and make a profit, this is a football club and if they are not going to buy another player for striker then they should definitely not sell Haaland neither.
2527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 01, 2021, 08:18:44 PM
^Let's be honest guys, we are going to see some more veterans signing cheap contracts with both Nets and Lakers at the same time. We AAAALLL want to see that Lakers versus Nets matchup in the finals with everyone 100% healthy at that point as well. If everyone is healthy and playing with 100% then we are going to be quite happy about the current situation and we are going to be basically watching the best finals overall talent in a long time.

There was a moment when GSW vs Cavs was good because Cavs actually played good, aside from that we haven't seen as many talents in one finals as a potential Lakers vs Nets finals. 6 players (lebron, ad, westbrook, durant, harden, irving) that could be in top 20, we do not get that too frequently and it will be awesome.
2528  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: August 01, 2021, 10:00:20 AM
I hear what you are saying but it is not more of a risk than of choice, patients, and convenience. Let's say a poor investor invested some money into Bitcoin (Choice) which is good but this investment was when Bitcoin was trading around $60k+ and now the price has dripped which we all know, but is it now easier for this poor investor to HODL? (Patients) yes he can, but the problem is, there could be a situation in our daily lives that will be easy for the rich investor to handle with other funds but not the poor investor (Convenience) so he might end up selling part of his investment. So, with everything being equal in the market, with no risk of losing money, the rich Investor is still in a good place because of access to extra funds.
In that case which happened to me few times, you do end up selling your crypto as the first thing, even before the money you have saved up in your savings account because it is harder to explain to people why you should keep your crypto.

However that is only because I am married and I have responsibilities against my wife and explaining why we should go into debt and I can pay it small by small in a period of time is a better idea than spending your crypto is not one of them. She wouldn't understand it, and she would think that I am crazy to think something like that, hell whenever we have money she wants me to invest that into banks saving account which gives nothing nearly enough at all. Which is why I honestly believe that if I was a single guy, I would be able to keep that crypto in there and instead just pay with my credit card instead.
2529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will long-term investments in the crypto space provide any guarantee? on: August 01, 2021, 09:15:07 AM
Aside from Bitcoin (BTC), will long-term investments in the crypto space provide any guarantee?
Of course my question is based on some experiences that occur in the market.
My observations of crypto market conditions, such as there are groups or people who do things that cause the price of other coins to only last for a moment.

Please have a discussion that makes all participants gain new knowledge.
Like people said, there is no guarantee in the world of investment and crypto, so we can't guarantee anything. However I can guarantee you that if you wait long enough, you will profit from it for sure. Let's be honest with each other, do you really think that someone who buys today and sells 10 years later would end up losing money? I get that there "should be" a small chance of losing money, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is very low chance to lose money, we will most likely end up making a profit from it.

This is why I honestly think that there is sort of a guarantee in crypto, it just depends on how long you are willing to wait and which coin you are investing into. Just like the example I gave earlier, if you buy bitcoin today and hold for 10 years, you will make a profit, so that is as guaranteed as it can get in the investment world.
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: July 30, 2021, 06:01:01 PM
What the heck is happening  Shocked? The market looks to greenish today im currently seeing some big green candles on BTC and other coins charts, are the bulls back or what?
Looking at right now, the increases seems to be dwindling a bit, it looks like we are seeing lower numbers in the increases, not saying that we are not increasing, but what looked like maybe 42k and more for bitcoin dropped under 40k already, so that means that maybe we are not actually in a bull market right now? Or maybe we are in a bull market who knows? This is why I believe that we should not be focusing on anything that will result with market being decided already, time will tell us what will happen and we can't predict it just yet.

I have to say there is a mutual agreement that bitcoin is doing alright compared to previously, that much is known, even if it falls down few thousand dollar points from here, that is still much better than the fact that we were under 30k just a week or two ago, so even though we do not know the direction it will take, we at least know we are doing better now.
2531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 30, 2021, 03:48:09 PM
I think it is hypocritical to scold Musk when he criticizes Bitcoin, and to praise him when he is optimistic about Bitcoin. I think he should take his thoughts and concerns about Bitcoin seriously, because many outsiders have these ideas. But at the same time, people should ignore his flip-flops on Twitter or act like a child. Elon Musk is just a person like everyone else. Stop using Elon Musk as an argument for or against Bitcoin, but actually listen to what he has to say and think about whether you have the answer.
Elon Musk is a public figure and has lots of followers on social media platform, so it would be hard to say that everyone doesn’t believe him again. And for sure there will always be people who won’t like him for one reason or the other. There are those who wouldn’t like him because of his stand in cryptocurrency, and how he keeps saying bad about Bitcoin and all that. But you’re right about what you said, everyone is free to believe whatever they want to believe. He has said what he doesn’t like about Bitcoin, it’s up to those of us that has the answer to provide the solution.
2532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: July 30, 2021, 06:53:42 AM
Once, I passed by and I overheard him saying "I am going to teach this machine who is in charge". It sounded like he was attributing some short of conscience and life to the machine and though he could "beat it".
That's a dangerous mentality to have if one has it. I cannot imagine someone trying to battle out with the machine and try to fight against it rather than having fun playing the games. It's more like kicking a stone and breaking your own leg in hope of breaking the stone.

I personally do not play slots, but do you think that is why people like slot machines? Short of breaking their code?
Well, it depends on the player what is their actual intention behind playing the slots. For me, I play slots because I always have a feeling that I might win something big and no, I am not chasing big wins but that's the kind of intention I have when I play slots. Maybe it has something to do with all the streamers showing off their wins.

As it turns out Simmons is at a level where Sixers are looking for a big overhaul for him. It is obvious that he is not going to get traded for this many assets, he honestly worths maybe like one or two first rounders plus a salary filler at this point, because who are you going to really draft that will be so much worse than him? I think no matter who you pick, unless it is a bust then you are going to pick a player that can probably score better than him, maybe not defend as well but can score better than him enough to cover that difference.

This dude scored less than 10 points per game against Hawks, you really think that people could give 4 first round picks?? That is insane ask from Sixers. What I assume will happen is that Simmons is upset about all of this, and he will want to leave as well, Sixers will not be able to get what they want, and Simmons will force them to lower their price one by one and eventually they will have to trade for much less.
2534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Speculators have a lot of "enemies", many of which come from themselves on: July 29, 2021, 01:06:28 PM
As long as you can manage yourself and always control your emotion, you will not have difficulty preventing greed, fear and you always believe that hope will always be there. You can learn how to calm yourself down and make that emotion your friend. We can not eliminate that but we can make it peace for ourselves but we need time before you can do that. You need to have the patience to control yourself and learn how to communicate with yourself to help you improve yourself.
I would also add that one should not judge their trading skills too quickly.

Most of us are making two common mistakes when judging too quickly:
1- Considering ourselves pro: If you made some profit initially in trading doesn't mean you have mastered the art of trading because it might be pure luck as well.

2- Getting too dejected by losses: Look, even the biggest and best traders face loss and there's no reason to judge yourself harshly for a mistake that could have been a tremendous stepping stone.
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we already in meme coins mania? on: July 29, 2021, 10:35:51 AM
First DeFi then very short NFTs and now I see we are or entering the Meme Coin mania times on crypto markets.

Of course people learned nothing from Doge and keep investing in all sorts of meme coins available on the market.

What is even better there are literally dozens of new meme coins started in last few weeks, don't want to spread the names to obvious scams, so you will need to research this, but believe me I have seen more as 20 new once.

To add the fire many scammers can fill the hype and they pump many of this coins to record highs reaching best gainers positions and scoring free advertisement from the biggest crypto related websites.
Yup, that’s just what we have moved into, this is their time. Since Dogecoin came to light there has been so many shitty coins that came along with it. Lots of scammers has been popping up here and there. I do see a lot of them with their funny names. I have even seen some that are named after Elon Musk during the time he was trending, just some really funny shitty coins that keeps coming out everyday and a lot of people have been falling for it.

Scammers are always taking advantage of times like this, when they see a trend they follow up with it and starts spamming the market with their traps and those who end up falling for it are scammed of their hard earned money which is very bad.
2536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best platform to use for a token offering? on: July 29, 2021, 09:03:09 AM
I'm currently working on a new concept I would like to link to a crypto currency. I'm not sure whether this should be via a STO or other type of token offering. Where can I find more information on this?

Also is this forum also being used to promote new token offerings? What would be the best way to promote a new token offering?
Yep, you can make use of this forum to promote your Token, there is a section in the forum that is meant for the purpose of promoting tokens and other projects. You can as well start up a signature campaign to push the project forward, and don’t limit yourself to just the forum, try to push the project forward by using a lot of other means that are available to you. You can as well make use of other social medias, and not just the forum to promote your Token. There are places like Reddit where you can talk about it, and also having a LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook where you can invest in ads would be really good.
2537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: July 29, 2021, 08:25:14 AM
"Gambling" in the words sense is basically just risking something for a bigger gain or a loss. In that situation we could say that even the generals of history are gamblers, they gambled on a war and either ended up losing or winning. My personal biggest loss came when I gambled away 2 bitcoins, but that was like years ago when they didn't worth anything.

My second biggest is when I quit my job and became full time crypto worker, which paid off like crazy, I am very very happy with that decision, I am hoping to take that to retirement hopefully and that will be my third, work hard on crypto and retire without working ever again. So, we can't really say who is the greatest gambling loser since it is not just about money, I am sure there are many people who lost 100+ million on gambling, I personally saw a guy lose 6+ million dollars on bustabit just a few months back.
2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 28, 2021, 07:16:24 PM
Simmons' future is kinda unpredictable right now and its risky for the Raptors to get a player who can't even shoot threes and can't make free throws
Not to brag but I would bite my tongue this time because the guy is still young and he would improve if he do so. There's too many room for improvement for him but it isn't impossible of he puts effort and doesn't mean what he does in the the past that he will still have the same future.

There will be too many rumors circulating right now and it's just better to avoid the hype because even the Nets superteam hasn't gone much this season - all for hype and deals.
Improvement isn't even the start of what is wrong with Simmons. Dude had so many years to try to improve, he is not a rookie, and he is literally avoiding shooting threes. Look at Giannis for example, he is not a three point shooter and we all know it but he has at least not avoided shooting when he is left alone, if you give him the space dude at least shoots, does he make them? Not too many of the times but at least he shoots them which makes the defense at least be around.

Look at Simmons, you can leave him wide open at three and dude will just not even look at that chance, we all remember he didn't even did a layup and passed the ball instead, dude is just not looking to score at all, and that is a big problem. When they first competing, many people talked about how Giannis and Simmons could be rivals for years to come, now looking at them, Simmons is not worth half of Giannis.
2539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 28, 2021, 06:45:10 PM
We do not have to force them to follow our suggestion but we can teach them how to determine the time to buy bitcoin. Besides that, we need to tell them to learn about when the time to enter the market and always remind them that the price will change every day so they do not have to panic if they see the price is down. Do not forget to suggest that he invest in bitcoin with the money that he can afford and never use all of his money to just invest in bitcoin, especially for the money that he uses for his daily.
The hardest part to convince them not to buy whenever it is at the top. A friend of mine asked me if he should buy bitcoin when it was 50+ thousand dollars, I do not remember what it was exactly, either 54 or 58 and I told him not to do it at all, it would be way too risky. Then the price went to 60-61 and he did it anyway, he said I didn't know any better and bought bitcoin, and now we mock about it all the time and joke around how he did a big mistake and didn't listen to me at all.

However even though we joke about it, I still feel bad about it, like why did he not listen to me? Why was I not clear enough to him that it is too dangerous to buy at these prices? It is obvious that it is not profitable to buy at the top and only buy when it is super low, but for some reason when people see it going up they decide that is when they should buy to make the most profit.
2540  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Main sponsor of Southampton FC on: July 28, 2021, 06:00:14 PM
Hash clash has a nice ring to it but does not capture the betting aspect of sponsors. I am trying to think of something that would be short, catchy and capture both crypto and gambling/betting aspects. Not easy at all  Grin Maybe I'll get the idea while sleeping since my brain is unable to compute this one in wake state.
If we were to put both "crypto" aspect into it and then "gambling" on it while still saying derby or something that explains this is a game, then we are going to end up with 3 words which is too much if you ask me. We should do it at maximum 2 words. I would say hash clash is good and leading at the moment for sure.

However if we were to add something about crypto and gambling together, we could say "Bit Bet Meet" for it? I mean it is not as elegant but definitely has a nice ring into it? I mean just for me of course, maybe you guys will hate it and everyone will mock me but that is the risk you are taking when you handle a creative thing. Bit Bet Meet sounds both like it rhymes well enough to be catchy, and it also brings "bit" as in bitcoin and crypto, "bet" as in it is betting and gambling, and "meet" as in it is a game. All of which makes a bit sense to me. Hash Clash still sounds better though.
