Sadly the first leg ended shamefully for Liverpool as they lost big at home to Atalanta and this only gives the Italian side extra courage to battle out the second leg strongly tomorrow. Liverpool has all it took to suppress their opponent and yes majority envisioned an encounter this season against Liverpool and Leverkusen but sadly I don't think it'll happen. Liverpool are an extra goal below cos of aggregates and it'll really take a miracle that they play Atalanta today without letting them net a goal and they covering up the pending goals too.

 Atalanta have been an improving side overtime. They've had some rough edges but their performance in the league is still seen. Even though they may not be top trophy contenders, they're trying to stay in the domestic league instead of relegating. They'll be playing against Liverpool in the next phase of the UEL and goodnews is they've been able to gather enough confidence and momentum for the game which still puts them in and advantageous spot of finishing with a tangible result regardless.

 Of both teams, there's struggle atmosphere present and even though Liverpool won't take mercy with them, the both teams will strive to see that they either win or get a draw at the end of the first leg. One would have to wait patiently for the game's final result. There'll definitely be an advancement of either teams after the second leg of the contest.

 The EPL is competitive too and so focus should be put in it but the UEL trophy to me would actually have more worth than the EPL. The outcome so far has given and will give Leverkusen the confidence to forge ahead for the trophy too, well it'll be everly glorious that they secure the two trophies this season. It only shows how prepared they were/are and will be for the battle.

The UCL Quater finals has been wrapped up and we already have teams who have qualified for the Semis and we saw a lot of surprises in the second leg of the ucl and we will love to analyze them. The UCL never fails to give us the huge surprises as we can see it especially in the qualification of Dortmund against Athletico Madrid.

 For Man City, I think Real Madrid had the better gameplan as they tried to contain Haaland and Kdb, not letting thrm exploits the defense line like they did in the first leg especially for Kdb and Foden. Madrid knew they will be the better ones in the penalty and as such were ready to stretch the game to the penalty which they’re comfortable.

 ⁠Unfortunately for Engalnd, none of their team will be participating in the semi finals stage because even Arsenal lost to a Bayern Munich side that’s not in a very good form. Yes it was expected to be the fate of Arsenal especially after they weren’t able to win comfortably at their home ground, we knew the Allianz Arena will be quite difficult.

 ⁠Ancelotti is one underrated coach already as him being able to defeat Real Madrid twice in the UCL is something that should be considered as a great feat. His tactics he used yesterday was top notch as he was able to contain Man City’s attack. Currently they’re now the favorites to win the ucl and I’m very sure they’ll be able to defeat Bayern in the semis to head to the finals.

The quarter finals of this season's UCL have been concluded and a very big congratulations to the qualified teams. Both legs of the phase of the tournament were important to the teams as goals didn't stop flowing in. I must say this season we had a finals in the quarter finals clash and it really made football an amazing sport. Everyone was so interested in the outcome of each of the games.

 For Barcelona, sadly they were eliminated on aggregates by PSG. Even though the both teams gave their all, the result finally placed PSG as the better side. The goals were needed and it put the both teams at tight spots but one way or the other, the Spanish side weren't just able to scale through. It was thesame outcome for Atletico Madrid who were defeated by Dortmund two nights ago.
 
 Yesterday two premier League teams also got eliminated, Manchester City and Arsenal which leaves the UCL void of an English side but 2German and 1 each of both the French and Spanish leagues. Real Madrid did their best to hold down City's pressure up until the penalty shootouts where they earned their victory at the Etihad and Munich were good to have won over Arsenal which at least kept them up being able to raise their heads high.

 The semifinals draw is awaited and the games too will definitely be more intense than it was in the just concluded round. I can't really tell who the winner is likely to be this season as the last 4 standing teams have good UCL records though with Madrid being the highest bidders, so if I'm to support any of these teams, regardless of favouritism, I'll go for Real Madrid.

For United, they've had good records from the beginning of their existence till 2seasons ago when they started experiencing gradual decline. Their coach switches has an effect on the team, they found it hard to secure a good coach that complements and will impact the team positively. And this has been on and on till this season when the situation got critical and United is literally nowhere to be found in the top 4 spot and they keep going behind in their struggle each passing week.

 Ten Hag is obviously not good for them currently as the team keeps slacking back and they do not stop looking confused on the pitch. All his implemented tactics and strategies aren't okay off well for him and it's safe to say that as the head of the team, he's got the greater part of the blame to bear. For me I'd say the fault is from both Ten Hag and his players as well. The players fault in the sense that they're being too sluggish in the pitch, they play like there's no interest in the game and they just want to get done with it. The way and manner they give off chances and how smaller teams capitalize on their mistakes to earn a lead from them. They've got good players but the players aren't at their best self week after week.

 Also consider the coach being at fault because many times he'd make a new strategy which in the end doesn't work for them, and then thesame strategy will still be repeated in other games. Not just tactics, both player combinations. Why on earth would a coach still keep implementing a strategy that's failed and isn't even bulging to make corrections? He's the manager and the bigger responsibility is on his shoulder. His job is on the line and if he's been unserious about it, then he should be set to embrace a sack. They've got quality players in the team, he should be able to maximize these players.

In the Serie A league this weekend, there are two fixtures carrying enough interests from fans and the outcome will cause spiking and varying moods and reactions too. Inter Milan's last league encounter result still left them at the top of the table and it only makes their next game much anticipated as fans believe it's their intentional plan to lift the season's trophy against their fellow Milan team at San Siro.

 To inter Milan it'll be a beautiful experience but to their opponent this weekend, I must say it's as blow to their face directly. They've all time in past seasons made relevance in the league but this season just turned to be different for them. The best they can really do at the moment is to finish the league at the right spot and ensure not to embrace a loss in the game against Inter Milan too.
 
 The second game with much interest in the weekend is Roma and Bologna encounter. The former team between the time of Rossi being added to the squad up until now have made useful difference in their approach to games. There's definitely improvement, although they're not at perfect spots on the league table but they still are a promising team who seem to have a greater advantage over their opponent.

 Bologna on the other hand are also improved in their performances and they've done their best to stay put in performing greatly till the last of the season. Hopefully the end of the game would favor both teams but it'll be a serious tussle for the two teams as at this point, even though points doesn't really matter to some extent, they still want to finish their games with the 3points victory.

Dortmund in previous seasons have been very much active and eager to chase the trophy. Although at the moment the chase is off for the trophy but their fight is not finishing in the top 4 spot. They've still got every chance in store to prove themselves. They've had scaly strides from the start of the season up until few weeks back where they first ensured a victory over Munich then also, they've done well to scale through to the UCL semi finals after conquering their Spanish opponent Atletico Madrid. No one knows their fate in the next round but there's certainty that there's difference in their performances now.

 They're a good team that just needs to find back their balance, there confidence level has dropped big and corrections needs to be made soon enough too. There's no time out to let go off winning chances, it'll keep drawing them back. Overtime, they've had good players in the team going off to other clubs and making wave which only notes that they're a team that builds and carves up players to be exceedingly top notch in performance. And it's acceptable that there are still players in the team that currently are capable of keeping the team ahead. Their game against Munich was a tough one and they were both sides that were and are still considerably competitive to themselves.
 
 They were impactful and they knew how best to get the desired results, capitalizing on Munich's backwardness and Dortmund had the right goal scoring ability and they did well at keeping up heated tussle paces with the team. For their encounter against Leverkusen, the two teams are good opponents to themselves. The 3 points  of the game would have to be fought for extensively.

 Knowing that Dortmund have advanced in the UCL and Leverkusen having all it takes to counter the UEL pressure too. Also Leverkusen being the reigning league champions with an unbeaten record. The game definitely would have a few goals in it, I doubt a clean sheet being kept but I'm more positive that Leverkusen won't start now to spoil the record so far made this season.

Bologna themselves aren't much of a huge dreadful effect on teams in the league but they've been able to pull bigger grounds and maintained good positions on the table. They've handled games professionally and have done well by staying top of Napoli on the league table. Today's encounter between Bologna and Monza was insightful and yes the both teams did their best but as always, there's a team who performed greater than the others.
 
 Even in the Serie A, it'll be difficult for Roma to gain the top stand so it's just best that they focus their strength and struggle to maintaining a good result that'll see them scale through to the European cups next season. De Rossi can still make a great team from Roma and their next games encounters are awaited. They played away to Monza weeks ago and the game outcome actually went in their favor. So maybe the result against Bologna will turn in their favour too.

 For the scudetto title, it is one that's always a heavy tussle especially between inter and Juventus. Even Milan this season weren't really close to be found in the trophy race and it's just sad that they've failed to perform rightly in the league even though doing their best in the European contests. All seems like inter would play to lift the trophy when face Ac Milan in the Serie A encounter at San Siro. Well I won't say it'll be too shameful or embarrassing but the former team is eager to take the trophy in a grand style. It's good to know that few weeks before the season runs off, there'll be a known winner in the Italian Serie A league.

 The Turkish Super Lig is one league that's been having a wide point margin between their title holder and the other teams but this season both top teams have actually been playing averagely and their end result is more or less thesame with a difference in just the goal margins. It's not so bad though but it'd mean that one team would have to put extra work to their game delivery if they want to secure the trophy.

 Fernabache and Galatasaray are good teams with good quality of players and both are capable of making the contest tough. But we await who'd be the greatest of them all. Galatasaray and Fernabache are making the struggle for the league trophy more difficult because they are giving thesame victory energy and aura, the points gathered, the goal differences, they're seemingly the toughest team in the league and their victory is so certain.
 
 In a long while in the Turkish League, deciding the league's winner will take a while because these two teams are good at what they do. Weeks back, there were unfavorable results in the Turkish League. A goalless draw for Antalyaspor against Alanyaspor.

 The host side has a record of goal scoring and game victories but unfortunately, their visitors were able to hold them down and ensure too well that they didn't get a chance at a goal being scored. For the host, twas a bad game and for the visitors, twas a fair game as they didn't have to loose 3points. So far, let's just see how subsequent games would turn out for Alanyaspor.

Jardon Sancho, one of United's best signee months back has now become a least option for clubs even in United itself. Sancho himself started derailing in his performances so it's difficult for teams to be confident about buying him and keeping him for years in the team. Also coupled with his issues with the coach. A team doesn't want for themselves, a player that's drawn back in his game play, yes for United, their best option would be to sell him but for other teams, first they'll reconsider purchasing him before considering his rate.

 He just needs extra work on himself, Manchester United may not do the trick for him that's why he really needs a change of team but at thesame time, ths options just have to be weighed and decided rightly before concluding. United's Sancho really has been set to exit the club in the last January transfer window. Hag didn't seem to have a use for him and him still being there only made him less active and it affected his form. He's a young star, yes Manchester United enjoyed him during his playing time but currently, he had not much to do for the team so it was just best he exited the team.
 
 Although it was rumoured that Juventus must have had an interest, well they're not a bad team, they take part in the UCL too and definitely he'd get to have a spot to show off his talents. Now is not the time to sideline stars, everyone needs to make themselves relevant and build up a good name too.

 Without doubt, Mainoo is a good impact to the Manchester side too. Yes, much was expected from Sancho but since his delivery rate was a bit shaky, twas fair that they set him out to another team. Having him back would be good but it'll be a decider as to the fate of Mainoo as well. The coach would have to work with the both players.

Tuchel's presence in the team ought to make a significant impact to their endeavors all time and also Kane's performance needed to add a big advantage to them but so far, their recent games have turned out opposite of their normal and expected performance rate. It'll only mean that their journey this season to a top spot is threatened and no one can say exactly if they'll be able to scale through it.

 They've not been encouraging and it's quite appaling that they remain depreciated week after week. Sadly though, Tuchel's stay in the club is seemingly threatened, his days are actually numbered and it's understandable that the management would want a switch for the coach position as they expected him to be better considering how much effort his put in recent times and even with flaws, they need not to keep overlooking it as it's unending.

Alonso is being quested for and if they're able to secure him, well, hopefully he'll be able to take them out of the state they are. His records are speaking for him and so it's understandable that they see him as a proper prospect for the job ahead in the club.
 
 Not also forgetting the fact that they've got to strive to gain back their name in the league. Yes, acquiring new players is essential to a team and with their caliber, they really have what it takes to go for the best of the bests. This season's experience should be enough for them to learn and react better to next season. They're an impactful team and so they should do their best to get whatever necessities needed for a good team outcome.

 Man City over the years have remained very dominant in the league and they’ve won the league for a period of 4 times in over 5 years and are currently sitting on top of the league. Liverpool and Arsenal fell to defeats over the weekend and I think this will be one very big one for Man City to capitalize on as the season comes to an end.

 ⁠Arsenal defeats isn’t all surprising especially after they did the same thing last season so we all knew the possibilities of it happening was quite high and now we can only imagine what holds for the club. I think the players mentality to an extent have now dropped and owing to the tough fixtures they’ll be having I can only imagine how much it’s going to be possible fr them to bounce back on time.

 ⁠For Liverpool, well a lot are still hoping on them especially as they’ve been able to give Man City some tough time about 3 seasons ago. Many believe they have the experience in knowing what it means to be able to fight for top spot in the league and I also feel they will probably end 2nd in the league with the way things are going.

 ⁠Man City achieving the treble this season might be pretty difficult for them especially with them facing Real Madrid tonight and Chelsea again in the FA Cup over the weekend. You can see that the team have a lot of work to do and also they must make sure they try to stay on top to be able to achieve success in the league.

Al-Nassr are really wanting to invest in their team and that’s quite impossible when the club doesn’t have the financial capacity to do that and when you look at the club, you see most of it’s finances goes to offsetting the salary of Ronaldo. Now the thought of them getting Rid of Ronaldo tries to set in but it’s not quite possible.

Barca experienced a huge defeat infront of their fans and this is really disappointing as it comes in a time that the club is in a trying time financially. Also at this stage, the club is also experiencing a hard time in trying to talk Xavi to still remain in the club and this loss comes as a big one for the club.

 Now the club is out of the UCL which could have helped the club be able to raise some finances should incase the need for hiring a new coach arises. This frustration could linger on and probably affect the club’s performance over the weekend if the club’s management doesn’t handle the situation well.

 ⁠PSG attack weren’t a match for Barca in any way and the red card already made the defense line of Barca short of one man as against the speedy attack of the PSG attack. Well the result was a big one and I understand the anger of both Xavi and the fans as they never expected such especially in their home ground.

 The board should try to manage this situation well and on time and try sourcing for other means of getting funds because the financial state of the club will be one of the main reason Xavi might want to depart as he might not be able to sign the required players to help him in his formation for the club. Playing in the EPL which is regarded the most competitive league in Europe isn’t always an easy one and you must need to be more than excellent to be able to withstand the pressure of playing in the EPL. This is so especially if you’re in a contest for the number one spot in the league. This pressure happened to make Liverpool and Arsenal drop points over the weekend and as such leaving Man City to get back in top spot.

 For Arsenal it’s not surprising as this is the 2nd time they’re repeating this after doing same last season and eventually losing out to Man City. It’s majorly surprising they haven’t been able to do game management to help them manage and contain the pressure. The loss from this Arsenal team will sure affect their mentality no doubt and you can only imagine how the team will continue from here.

 Aston Villa who defeated Arsenal were very impressive and you can see how they played quite excellently to be able to maintain and press Arsenal’s defense. Well you can say that they did so probably because they’re in a chase for top 4 spot and yea I’ll understand but you must also point out the errors that Arsenal coach made that made his team concede and drop points too.

 ⁠This season has been a great one for Aston Villa and I sincerely think they still need more improvement maybe probably a signing in the midfield will be a big boost for them on their performance next season. Kudos to Aston Villa. For Arsenal well, you can already say it’s over but I feel the loss shouldn’t afftect the players mentality as they still have everything to fight for though they still have some tough fixtures but never say never.

The hopes of Barcelona going through to the semis were very high especially after defeating psg at France over a week ago. It was so high such that the Barca fans were prepared with their fireworks at the Camp Nou before the game even started. The result was a big shocker to the whole world and now this is why this is the UCL as you are sure to see surprises spring up.

 ⁠The red card spoilt the game for Barca as you can tell, the team didn’t expect to have a red card and as such that event totally disrupted their gameplay and you can see how they struggled. It got to a point their head coach couldn’t control it and he too was shown a red card and then you can understand that the team has lost it totally and I think this is a situation clubs should take a cue from, I mean always plan for a red card happening.
 
 The red card made them short of a man in the defense line and as such, you can understand how the team will struggle to keep up with the resilient attack of PSG whom have a speedy Mbappe and Dembele. For Xavi wanting to leave, I don’t think this should be a big opportunity for him to leave, because he was able to control the game though and I know had it been not for the red card, he would have gotten this team to the semis and we wouldn’t speculate.
 
 ⁠Well for the speculations, going to a team like Newcastle wouldn’t be a bad idea because he’s sound to an extent tactically and with the club being financially buoyant, he can be able to make some signings to help spring up his idea. If Xavi leaves then I think the board will have to think fast on how to source for funds to be able to get a new coach especially now they’re in a financial downtime.

The season started quite badly for Ajax and at the start of the season with their form, you could easily predict that the club wont be able to make it to any European competition next season because they were not able to get maximum points to help them go up the log. At a point in the season, the team suddenly picked up form and started winning games and you can begin to imagine the club in the least Europa next season.

 ⁠A roller coaster season it’s been for Ajax because currently they’re performing below expectations and have gone back to the way they were performing before picking up and now with the season getting close to an end, it’s evidently clear that there’s zero hope for an European competition for them. PSV has been very consistent as they still try to remain unbeaten in the league which isn’t usually easy but with such feat, you can be so sure of them winning the league.

 ⁠I think Ajax will have big issues making the top 4 because of the wide gap and the low numver of matches remaining to reach such stage. Now the club’s board must try to prepare for next season and as such, try to build up the team and do some changes that’ll be effective in bringing the club back to winning ways.

 ⁠PSV have been the major surprise this season with their wonderful performances even though after Ajax low performance so many believed Feynoord to be able step up into the shoe and be the main club in the league. Well this shows healthy competition and we believe Ajax will sure be able to work on themselves and maybe get back to limelight next season.

For the Italian teams at the moment, they'll be focusing their strength on the domestic Serie A league and they ought to be doing excellently well in it. Especially Juventus, they've even had a greater chance of being far ahead in the standings than the likes of Inter Milan because for others, after the league games, they'd still have to play the continental tournament and this will definitely affect players' physical capabilities too.

Xabi Alonso has really improved this Bayern Leverkusen team since when he was appointed last season whilst they were wallowing in 17th place which is sure relegation, he was able to build this team and take them to finish 6th place. Not just that he was also able t achieve and European final for the team, though he lost.

 ⁠His achievements last season was a bog confidence on what he can be able to achieve with the boys this season. This season he has made history already with the club and the young boys he’s mentoring by leading the club to her first Bundesliga title in over 120 years of existence.

 ⁠This kind of achievement is really laudable and yes sure, he’s going down the club’s history books and also he’ll sure be written in gold if he can be able to achieve the treble for the club. The possibilities of him getting the treble is very big because you can see how balanced they’re playing and in the DFB Pokal, they’re sure going to win that. In the UEL, they’ll sure be able to get to the Semi Finals and also the finals.
 
 ⁠The current form of this Leverkusen side is one that makes club get scared whenever they want to face them because it’s noteworthy that they still remain unbeaten this season in all competitions. I don’t think there’s anyteam in the UEL that can be able to stop this Leverkusen side yet and a treble is quite possible.
