361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: March 25, 2024, 02:55:11 AM
@notblox1. Agreed on Namajunas. Also, do you know who is Rose's favorite training partner and friend? It is the beautiful and sexy Valentina Shevchenko! I reckon Thug Rose will certainly want to have revenge for her friend. Valentina's last fight against Alexa Grasso was a draw, however, Valentina was the real winner of the fight, I reckon. The skeptical me thinks that they cannot give it to her because it was the UFC's celebration of Mexican independence day hehehehe. Will it be a trilogy? We cannot be quite certain. Valentina has been very silent after the fight.

@Hispo. This US elections on November with Trump vs. the puppet Biden and the puppeteers Hilary and Barrack will be one of the most entertaining political encounter of the year. Also, gamblers like to bet on the things that they have more information and occurences that the watch and read everyday. American politics can be seen everywhere on the internet even for people who do not live in America.

On the Venezuelan elections, I agree that it is also important for the people outside of Venezuela because American policy appears to be affected depeding on who becomes their president. However, there are not many people that are interested in this.

In any case, who is the Venezualan candidate that is rumored to be supported by the American government? Argentina appears to be under the operation to adopt the dollar hehehe. It is speculated that their new president was supported by the United States during the election.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Launches Its First Tokenized Fund on the Ethereum Network on: March 25, 2024, 01:49:10 AM
Haha, love the joke about being the new mayor of Ethereum! While I don't know about skipping research, billionaires gotta be careful too!

Sounds like a step towards real-world assets on the blockchain, which could be huge. It not only demonstrates confidence in blockchain technology but also opens new avenues for investors to participate in the digital economy. Maybe BUIDL is just the first move. And a BlackRock stablecoin? Now that would be a game-changer, Tether could be sweating! It'll be interesting to see how these projects evolve and whether they can address the challenges associated with maintaining stability in the volatile crypto markets.

Hehehe he is the new mayor of Bitcoin already but it also appears that he wants the mayorship of Ethereum also hehehehe.  On real world assets, agreed! Blackrock appears to already have a roadmap for this and we can be quite certain that this will not only be traditional financial assets and real estate, Blackrock might also issue their own stablecoin through a company of their creation.

I am not quite certain if many people have been paying attention, however, there were some people who have speculated that the next trending storyline will be real world assets on the blockchain.

364  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit locked/pending withdrawals on: March 24, 2024, 03:25:13 AM
I am not quite certain if this has been mentioned in this thread before, however, everyone should first test their ID for KYC confirmation before sending very big deposits on any gambling website and also confirm that people under their jurisdiction are allowed to play in this website. Having a small amount of money frozen is okay, however, having more than $10k frozen in a casino because you did not read the terms of service or you did not test your ID for KYC is partly the bettor's responsibility.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: March 24, 2024, 02:54:59 AM
There are reports that David Benavidez pleaded Turki Alalshikh to make the fight between him and Canelo. But Turki says no, however, he said that he can fight the winner of this fight in June.

https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1771550634942111745

Well I can't blame Alalshikh, Canelo is clearly doesn't like no part of Benavidez and that's why he is not a fan of it. And for sure Canelo will command big money here, although the Saudis have that kind of money, I don't think though that they'll simply bow down on Canelo here.

So June perhaps, then after that, Bivol and Beterbiev can have their rematch.

What are your thoughts on this proposal?

This will certainly be a checkmate on Canelo from David Benavidez assuming Benavidez will win the light heavyweight championship hehehe. Benavidez knows that Canelo wants a light heavyweight championship before he retires and he also certainly knows that Canelo is avoiding him in the super middleweight division. The solution is to win the unified light heavyweight championships hehehehee. This will be the perfect fight for the both of them because Canelo wants to fight for his legacy and Benavidez wants to fight to become the next big name in the sport of boxing. Also, the purse for each will be very big hehe.
366  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKX terminates services in India, asks users to withdraw funds by April 30 on: March 24, 2024, 01:50:55 AM
@Darker45. If that is true and if we are being fair on the Indian government, they might want to start the regulations on the cryptospace from zero. They will first ban all exchanges, create a regulatory template that you mentioned, then begin accepting exchanges under the rules of the template. This might not be a bad roadmap hehe. However, the small projects with anonymous developers of DeFi will be their problem. They will certainly not follow the rules imposed by the regulatory template.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Launches Its First Tokenized Fund on the Ethereum Network on: March 24, 2024, 12:30:56 AM
There people in social media that are speculating that Blackrock's BUIDL will be something similar to a US treasury bond on the blockchain. If they are bringing real world assets on the blockchain, I reckon that we should not be shocked if Larry Fink's next move is to create a Blackrock stablecoin. This might be the Tether killer.

Do Kwon might be correct in attempting to create a algorithmic stablecoin, however, his design depended on a ponzi scheme with Anchor Protocol. However, there are other developers who are creating their own algorithmic stablecoin like Frax Finance.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: March 23, 2024, 08:48:21 AM
^^ Yes, it looks like it's confirmed already,

https://twitter.com/MikeCoppinger/status/1771223919296401431

One is on the comeback trail, Wilder and still wanted to have his name in the discussions in the Heavyweight division. We still dream of him fighting AJ or even Francis Ngannou.

On the other hand, Zhang wanted to show the world that he is no fluke and again, sought to be included as well in this division as there are big money coming from the rich country of Saudi as they are willing to give this boxers good paycheck just to fight in their country. So kudos to HE Turki Alalshikh for another undercard in this fight.

And yes, when we have two heavy punchers, one is bound to go down hard and prepared to use any means necessary to score a knockout and finished that fight in a spectacular manner.

Deontay Wilder, after his last loss, it appears that he is being revealed as only a boxer with the skills of an amateur and it his knockout punch that saves him from the mistakes he has done from the previous rounds. This is why his knockout punch is called the eraser by boxing analysts like Teddy Atlas. Before the coronvirus everyone was speculating on who would win if Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua were in the boxing ring. I am quite certain more than 50% would say that it will be a Wilder victory hehehe.

On this fight, I reckon Zhang will have the victory. He might be 40, however, he is a much better boxer than Deontay Wilder. Do not underestimate the Chinaman.

@ChiBitCTy. On the Chargers fans, do they have some of them left supporting the team? I am only joking hehehe, however, the Chargers do not have a Stadium that they call their very own. Their real fans are in a city 1 hour away in San Diego.

In any case, this is a transcript about a conversation on Justin Herbert and should fantasy managers be worried about him. I reckon he might shock everyone. They will not win the conference but new coach argument implies that they will enter the playoff.

370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 22, 2024, 04:52:28 AM
UFC superstars have better contracts now especially to demanding fighters. But still far from boxers' PPV revenue share and their purse guarantees. But maybe boxing superstars are overpaid or their purse guarantees are just too high which is why networks like HBO and Showtime left.

Purse inflation has certainly been detrimental to the sport of boxing. Fighters are less active than ever and less willing to take risks. It is why Canelo is fighting Munguia instead of Benavidez. Why face a bigger and more dangerous fighter when you can still make tens of millions against an inferior opponent. Let’s keep in mind that to even agree to fight Munguia was a difficult ordeal because Canelo’s preference was the less active and presumably easier Jermall Charlo. Fighters like Gervonta Davis have taken cherry picking to an even more extreme level by entirely avoiding any credible threat and trying to gaslight the public into believing his secondary titles are meaningful accomplishments.

This is also why according to Teddy Atlas, boxing is dying. Everything about organizing boxing fights and events are for money, however, much of the quality of the fights are low except for some of the main events. I will repeat again that much of them are similar to scam ICOs where the promoters hype their projects then dump them on their own followers. This sport of boxing should be the best against the best. However, coming from different promotions, organizations and the politics of this has made the sport a quagmire. Showtime and HBO have seen the future and it might not be positive.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BlackRock Launches Its First Tokenized Fund on the Ethereum Network on: March 22, 2024, 03:29:49 AM
The new mayor of Bitcoin might also be chasing for the mayorship of Ethereum hehehe. I watched Larry Fink's interviews on CNBC and if he talks about Bitcoin and the cryptospace, it appears like he is someone similar to much of us when we first entered the cryptospace. He has full of inspiration on decentralization and blockchain technology and it also appears that he is ready to pump many tokens without doing any reseatch hehehe. However, the difference is he has billions to invest and he has the regulators in his pocket if he is scammed. He might not react similar to Mark Cuban.

BlackRock today unveils its first tokenized fund issued on a public blockchain, the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (“BUIDL” or the “Fund”). BUIDL will provide qualified investors with the opportunity to earn U.S. dollar yields by subscribing to the Fund through Securitize Markets, LLC.

“This is the latest progression of our digital assets strategy,” said Robert Mitchnick, BlackRock’s Head of Digital Assets. “We are focused on developing solutions in the digital assets space that help solve real problems for our clients, and we are excited to work with Securitize.”

Tokenization remains a key focus of BlackRock’s digital asset strategy. Through the tokenization of the Fund, BUIDL will offer investors important benefits by enabling the issuance and trading of ownership on a blockchain, expanding investor access to on-chain offerings, providing instantaneous and transparent settlement, and allowing for transfers across platforms. BNY Mellon will enable interoperability for the Fund between digital and traditional markets.

372  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKX terminates services in India, asks users to withdraw funds by April 30 on: March 22, 2024, 02:43:52 AM
What is happening now is that OKX among the exchanges is telling its Indian users to withdraw their money and coins on the exchange before April 30.

We are going to see more exchanges that will follow OKX soon.

Hehehe they will certainly have much regrets on making this decision because they cannot stop the people from connecting to the cryptospace through wallets similar to Metamask then connect to DeFi. Another argument is China will begin to open their jurisdiction to the cryptospace again and encourage development of Chinese projects to compete against the western projects. Where will India be in this new world of development and financial competition? Traditional investors have begun accepting the cryptospace in America through the ETF, China might be next through Hong Kong and later Shanghai, however, India is closing their jurisdiction? This is very headshaking. They might open it on the wrong time and they will become exit liquidity hehehehe.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! on: March 22, 2024, 01:47:43 AM
@JayJuanGee. It makes it appear that the Ethereum promotions and marketing propaganda is very successful if they can make people think that every fee relating to the cryptospace can be called a gas fee hehehehe.

@franky1. Does that imply Grayscale will never lower their management fees? They would not have announced to lower it if they did not want it, I reckon.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 21, 2024, 02:55:41 AM
@FinneysTrueVision. Is this fight for Pacman a comeback fight or is this only an exhibition? He is 45 years old already, will he fight again if he wins against Conor Benn? This will be headshaking, however, I will certainly watch these fights hehee.

On Anthony Joshua, presently it appears much of the fans of boxing are speculating a fight between him and Tyson Fury. But would it not be much better if he should challenge Oleksandr Usyk again? I reckon this new Joshua might knockout Usyk. Ben Davison appears to have made Anthony Joshua discover something from himself.

Pacman could be interested with the belt so probably it's not an exhibition. But how could he get a championship if he is not anymore active, I mean,I thought they will base on the ranking not on the popularity? I'm not really sure if this rumors are but in case Pacman will comeback, I'm sure that will create a lot of hype and people will surely watch it.

What about the rumor beween Pacman and Mayweather, I thought it will happen this May?

On Mayweather vs. Pacman 2. Similar to what I have already mentioned before, these types of fights between old people might be something similar to scam ICOs where the promoters hype the fight, collect all the money then dump everything on your head with your mouths open hehehe. I will certainly watch this, however, we cannot expect these retired old men to fight better than during Mayweather vs. Pacman 1. Also, Pacman should have cancelled the fight vs. Mayweather on 2015 when he had his shoulder injury. Accepting to fight with the injury was a big career decision error.

Tabloid news update.

It appears that Bill Belichick is very happy with his dating life as a 71 year old man and he might not have the motivation to find another job in the NFL as a head coach for this year hehe. There was also an article mentioning that said Kyle Shanahan would accept Bill Belichick in his team as a defensive coordinator, however, this call was not answered. I am quite certain Belichik would only accept the offer if Shanahan offered Belichik his job hehehehheee.

Bill Belichick appears to be back on the dating scene.

The former Patriots coach, who mutually parted ways with the team in January after 24 seasons together, was seen having dinner with an unnamed brunette at Contessa Italian restaurant in Boston, according to a photo obtained by Deuxmoi, a pseudonymous Instagram gossip account.

It came after his split from his longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday — who is the president of Belichick’s foundation — in September 2023.

376  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: More Regulation Incoming! on: March 21, 2024, 01:29:41 AM
@zasad@. However, the difference is that they have not proven that those transactions were done for terrorist financing. This is very dangerous because they can look at the blockchain, choose a group of transactions and declare that they might be transactions used for terrorist financing then use this allegation to get an executive order against their targets. The targets does not have to he the terrorists, it can be organizations they do not like. This is very headshaking that much of us in the community do not see this.

They will repeat this tactic repeatedly to get more authority and decrease the people's freedom through these executive orders. I am quite certain in the next few months the next transactions chosen will be declared to be from the Lazarus Group hehehehee.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! on: March 21, 2024, 12:51:59 AM
@fillippone. I disagree. Losing your dominance will only let your competitors defeat you. If Grayscale does not lower their fees, these outflows will continue and give mayor Larry and grandma Cathie the advantage. However, it appears that Grayscale has lower fees on their roadmap. This presently might stop the outflows.

The market where Grayscale did not have big competitors against their investment products has clearly ended.

Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein said the company expects to reduce fees on its GBTC Bitcoin ETF in the months ahead. The move likely comes as GBTC continues to witness outflows while other competitors such as BlackRock and Fidelity grab massive market share from Grayscale.

“I’ll happily confirm that, over time, as this market matures, the fees on GBTC will come down,” Sonnenshein told CNBC in an interview on March 18. He added that fees tend to be higher during the initial stages and gradually come down as the market matures and demand for the products rises.

378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: March 20, 2024, 04:32:37 AM
We can bet beginning today. If Dune is not nominated for all of best picture, best director and best adapted screenplay on the oscar awards for 2025, you will win $50. However, if Dune 2 wins best director, best adapted screenplay and best best picture give me 20x odds on my $50. Is asking for 20x odds too much? You can argue for this, however, it is also presently very early to know if Dune 2 will be in the oscar awards. This might be a $50 donation for you hehehe.
An interesting proposal but I think in the end it would end uo like your previous bet- no one winning. Its almost certain that Dune Part 2 will get nominated in those categories you mentioned, while I think its unlikely it wins the Best Picture one. Even though I liked Dune 2, it will be a weak year if that is the best movie of 2024.

@Rikafip. In the cinema, in english, without subtitles.
If they don't show subtitles in your cinema, that means you are from English speaking country?

Also, if you have HBO Max or HBO Go, Dune 2 might be available on April 15.
Or if you don't mind downloading from trackers. Wink Anyway, looking forward to April 15th to watch it once again.

It appears that I have not made the proposal very clear. If Dune 2 is not nominated for all of best picture, best director and best adapted screenplay, I lose the bet. Also, if Dune 2 does not win on all of best picture, best director and best adapted screenplay, I also lose the bet. However, if this movie wins on these 3 categories mentioned, I win 20x of the bet. This is a donation for the other bettor if he accepts hehe.
379  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tornado cash founders charged with money laundering/sanctions violations on: March 20, 2024, 03:46:02 AM
Privacy is not a crime. However, it appears that if a person uses a mixer or a something similar to Tornado Cash, the government can call it moneylaundering even if you only want to hide your cryptocoins in a personal private wallet. I wish the Dutch prosecutors will lose in this trial.

The trial will begin on March 26.

Alexey Pertsev, the Tornado Cash developer who has become a symbol of state overreach on crypto crime, laundered more than $1.2 billion in dirty money, according to an indictment by Dutch prosecutors obtained by DL News.

Pertsev, who is scheduled to stand trial in the Dutch city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch beginning March 26, “made a habit of committing money laundering,” according to the three-page document, which was written in Dutch and was revealed Tuesday.

Pertsev has denied he violated money laundering laws ever since he was arrested in August 2022.

“Prosecutors are suspecting Pertsev of money laundering and they have described it in a general way, but they don’t specify which exact acts he has committed to take part in the criminal offence,” Keith Cheng, Pertsev’s lawyer, told DL News Tuesday

@ChiBitCTy. Agreed. Also, the Chargers have a new general manager and head coach. It will not be very surprising if this is the beginning for a formation of a team that they want to bring to the playoff in 5 years and challenge for a superbowl. If this speculation is correct, the general manager will certainly need to trade and draft younger players for Jim Harbaugh to position around Justin Herbert. This might also be a longterm roadmap for the Chargers, I reckon.
I think they might be relying on Harbaughs knowledge of the upcoming college players and be looking to get some gems out of the draft and be looking forward to the next few years not having to pay high salaries. Everyone at the skill positions minus Herbert will be on rookie deals, they'll be able to do alot in free agency next year if their draft picks don't hit this year.

You are very much correct! Also on why some people are shaking their heads on the removal of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, Keenan will be 32 years old and Williams is always injured. Ekeler was also injured during the beginning of the season and was he injured again during the season? The Chargers' new general manager clearly shows that the team does not want to pay them high salaries while they are in IR list. The teams that traded for them will certainly have problems.
