3641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ARM processors with Mali Octacore - ignored by mining coders, why? on: November 28, 2017, 05:23:46 PM
If there was a way to mine and make a profit without using a lot of electricity every single person on here would be doing it. If you want to mine, move to somewhere with reasonable power rates.

But maybe jeyjey is smartest person around by far, and none of us can see profitability because we're all stupid?

Since those 8 cores in ARM GPU are 64-bit, they must be much better than those 2304 cores in RX580, right?

3644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin on: November 28, 2017, 10:11:08 AM
NXT is one of the oldest projects, a lot of projects were inspired by this coin, surely NXT price is reflecting that. Good luck for all early investors.

In my opinion the price does not reflect that at all. Although next is around so long, it has been highly undervalued by investors. Maybe it was due to lack of marketing I dont know. In 2017 it did make some good gains, but is now again trading 3 times lower than it has been this summer. (Satoshiwise I mean, I only look at satoshi prices)

Same can be said about many altcoins, we can blame craze around BTC and its forks for that.
Does fact that IGNIS futures are traded for $0.5 also means that NXT is highly undervalued too?

3646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency minable on home PC on: November 27, 2017, 10:28:08 PM
Which do you think is the most easy-minable (but of course promising) cryptocurrency?

"Home PC" is pretty broad term

And so is "promising"
3647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Blakestar PoS is now active! 200% ROI on: November 27, 2017, 10:16:31 PM

3648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Modified GPU BIOS for Mining on: November 27, 2017, 10:10:56 PM
I just got a bunch of these Asus Radeon RX570's with 4 GB RAM and ELPIDA memory
Outta the box on Ethminer they run about 21.5 MH/S

I was wondering if you have any mods for this card?

I doubt these can do the magic 30 MH/S but I would love to see a stable 26 or more.

Thanks!

No reason they should not hit 30 if memory cooling is done reasonably good
3649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Custom RAM Timings for GPU's with GDDR5 - DOWNLOAD LINKS - UPDATED on: November 27, 2017, 12:07:41 PM
Explain, please, how can I save original bios (aka atiflash in win), modify timings (aka polarisbioseditor in win) and flash a new bios to card (aka atiflash in win) in ubuntu server, without gui?
You might flash the bios without gui, but there's obviously no way to edit the timings since you need a gui software for that. You'll need to find a windows machine to do that.

No you don't - PBE is shit anyways.
Explain, please, how to modify bios in linux?

Simple...fire up Emacs, write program for flashing BIOS in GCC, run GCC to compile it,
and there you go, you have bios flasher. You can even sell it for fame and profit
3650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin on: November 27, 2017, 07:34:34 AM
Will exchanges give Ignis, or you have to have NXT in wallet?

3653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: November 22, 2017, 11:36:55 PM
https://www.reddit.com/r/siacoin/comments/7etxa1/sia_is_officially_integrated_with_minio/

"Minio is an implementation of Amazon's S3 protocol.

This makes Sia compatible with nearly every tool that is compatible with S3.

This also means SiaCDN will be more stable and can just use mainline Minio instead of keeping local patches.

SiaCDN is also a big effin deal because it enables users to use Sia without running their own Sia node and lets them pay with credit card."

3657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero with CPU on: November 22, 2017, 01:06:08 PM
Hey Guys Im interested in possibly mining monero with my cpu on a laptop. I'm currently mining zoin but I heard you can mine monero as well with a cpu. Is it still possible to mine it and also does anyone know where I can find a how to guide for mining it with windows 10?

Thanks

If you have 8 core i7 laptop, you can mine about 20 cents a day, but you have to keep in mind cost of laptop repair, as
on average it'll die after about 9 days
3658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / I have some important questions, please help on: November 22, 2017, 12:41:06 PM
1. whats the best Ripple miner
2. what coins I can mine with my Samsung S2 mobile pkone? (it has TWO cores CPU, does that help?)
3. what coins I can mine with my $12000 gaming laptop (I know people say laptops are weak, but this is top model!)
4. I also bought some cards, but since retailers here dont have big stocks, I ended up with 16 different models.
Would someone be so kind to make bioses for all 16 cards for me for free?
5. can someone send me info what coins are coming soon so I can start mining while its most profitable, with all of
my 12000 video cards?
6. what video card is best for mining BTC and LTC?
7. I feel those 12000 video cards are not mining me enough money, so I'd like to invest $5.000.000 into
cloud mining, what is the most profitable cloud mining company?
8. how can I get  rid of Claymore dev fee, he's taking whole $50000 out of my $5 million monthly income, thats not fair!

Thanks for answers, I have a lot more questions, but don't want to bother you more

3660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 4GB Ethereum on: November 22, 2017, 09:49:52 AM
Interesting card indeed, looks like some mix between 560, 560D and 460

Itīs an official Card, you can buy it here:
https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/4GB-Sapphire-Radeon-RX-560-Pulse-4GD5-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Lite-Retail-_1211387.html

Itīs a Baffin XL Chip, also used in RX 560D ... they call it RX 560 Lite Retail now.

Very misleading, they also sell RX580 nitro+ special edition, lite retail, but its actually BETTER than normal card,
having 2100MHz memory instead 2000MHz
