381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TTY] Trinity | SHA + Scrypt + Groestl | PoW Now Mining! on: July 15, 2014, 08:57:55 PM
using sgminer.exe --algorithm myriadcoin-groestl -o stratum+tcp://tty.minep.it:3339 user pass

and the thing wont run. cant i just use -k groestlcoin?

It should be -u user -p pass.

yes all that is fine i just shortened the end. it runs with -k groestlcoin but all shares are rejected. so that means if i just change the algo statement i should be mining not so?

read:

https://trinity.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

rofl -k instead of --algorithm

why is there advice to use --algorithm in the first place? such misleading

you probably read the wrong instructions..

i always wonder why i'm writing those instructions when nobody reads them..

i used the instructions on the OP of this thread. thanks tho.

when i run the bat file it just pops up and goes away instantly. so what could be wrong with it?

386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RVC] / RevoCoin / POS - POW / 10,000kh miner limit / launch 14-07 on: July 15, 2014, 10:09:19 AM
Dear community,

Sorry for not replying sooner.

Unfortunately we have found only two pools so far which meet the requirements, supernova and maxminers. When we don't find the thirth pool before 17-07, supernova and maxminers will setup the thirth pool together. Sharing the source code with shady/unreliable pools is a risk we can't afford.

Therefore, we will postpone the launch with a few days. Launch is now planned for 17 or 18 july.

i will seek honest pool owners to join us. i may know one.. who is quite competent. i will try to contact him.

387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Magicoin MAGIC - The MagiCurrency | Merchant now available on: July 14, 2014, 11:37:04 AM
u see.. as it turns out.. there were people stupid enough to sell magicoin so cheap. it's the multipool/asics probably. after algorithm change the dumping will end.

i'm in!

contact c-cex for a good start Dev. they will support us.

10mh is good and fair limit meaning this coin will be very valuable. not sure why use x15 but i will give it a shot. dont expect dedicated or supernova to get on board.. but i actually suggest.. dont let them.. they are a shady bunch.

did you manage to use the fakeshare vulnerability patched version of x11 for this coin? because im not sure u did.
That problem was reported in march, since then there were no fake share vulnerability problems on pool.mn pools.

well that sucks.. been mining for an hr with 3-4mh and havent gotten a single accepted share. retiring to mine something else.

MInerals seems sold out at 3k.. we're going up.. i think LOL

It's weird... high buying pressure, but the value hasn't changed too much in the last 24 hs

this is a good thing.. it's called stability. this is how it should be. when investors have a use for a currency they dont have to sell it for btc or fiat. by simply not selling they can maintain the value. this will work better for a currency that is used in real world commerce for everyday living. it's the true meaning of 'Circulation' not selling for fiat, but trading for items and basic everyday living. the value stays the same for purchasing just because noone wants to sell any lower. minerals and community have done well with a little help from the big fish traders who pumped the price. but i imagine that most in the community is too scared to commit large amounts to pump the price. it isnt advised anyway. let organic growth take it's toll. minerals has alot still to develop.

To be fair IE has been talking about MIN for a while now, but as a MIN holder I am very weary of his intentions.

I can see this rising a bit (maybe back to 4k~5k) before a crash?

I hope I'm wrong but after the recent Voot crash (long time holder) I just don't know.

u probably missed me telling everyone on here voot was a trap. it was the most artificial trading i have ever seen in crypto.

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - **NOBL/$USD@VoS**MARKETPLACE/BULLION**52 CHARITIES/MERCHANTS** on: July 11, 2014, 08:05:06 AM
I know the first batch got sent through but perhaps the bank locked the amount again (I often have to manually go in and approve orders because they look suspicious to them). Please allow me to send through the bonuses when it is all confirmed, or as always the amount of NOBL sent through can be immediately refunded.

Because of the amount of money involved, Mintpal deposit delays, bank delays and the high 18% deal having little effect on Noble promotion or price I will be reducing the deal only until the PoS (removing Mintpal delays) and next round of news is coming out. Once orders are all covered this week I will be temporarily suspending it until I can get my own finances in order to meet the 18% discounts.

Thanks Rofo, received my giftcards with the bonus. im good for another $100-$200 if it's good with you i will buy more noble now for purchase. let me know.. i just dont want to wait a whole week for them ;p

sorry guys having a few delays. building a new server to act as a testbed among other things. my dev is on standby and ive sourced an abe block explorer and multipool coder for the project so the pieces are coming together bit by bit.

may create an [ANN] soon announcing the name of the coin. but not much more details. just to reserve the spot. atm i just want to get through this system build and we'll be moving forward.

Best Regards,
Coinler
