I would guess that they are not going to be incorporating cryptonote coins into their trading platform due to it's incompatibility with their current platform and the work required is not really worth their effort. But I could be wrong. You could always ask them yourself. They would likely give you an answer. |

There is a work-ledger database, Its basically a blockchain alternative with anonymity functionality, It will track all transactions apart from some address -> address transactions where the client has requested anonymity via a flag in the header or to you a checkbox on the client. Fresh work that has been completed will always show on the work-ledger, this cannot be anonymous. What's the ico price? And how many offered. People will be mining.. so it's important to know. But this additional work package idea sounds cool.

But there is another thing on the exchange announcement  Last Weeks Winners: User vote winner: Blockchain Technologies Inc.(BTI) DOT vote winner: Pesetacoin(PTC) why?  yes ,why ? why not xtv ? Why? Because cryptonote coins require a significant amount of additional work to list on an exchange. That's why only a couple exchanges list cryptonote coins. If cryptopia does list cryptonote coins it's going to take more than just syncing the wallet like most bitcoin clones. That's why I remain skeptical that they will list cryptonote coins regardless of whether they win the voting or not. They might be actively working on integrating cryptonote into their trading platform and we'll see them listed when they're done but the skeptic in me says no. Hopefully I'm wrong because it would benefit cryptonote coins to have a larger list of compatible exchanges. |

Yes it will be an ICO, I see no other way of getting a pure POS coin out there with a decent starting price. I appreciate some here don't like that, and indeed I'm not a fan but as said, other than just giving them away, which will only ever mean they will be worth a couple of sat's only I have no other options open to me. Plus what I have in mind will need a little investment. Again I have not hidden behind a newbie coinaiddev account, and have full commitment to this project. There will be lots more info to follow, that I am sure you will like..... well most of you  Yes there is options , ico with POW would be fine , a least we would get to use our pol ops and equitment . Pure POS is making hard for anyone to mine anymore . Come on for crying out loud . But if they let you mine you don't have to pay them btc for the coins which is the whole point of them launching the coin. Sell them and keep the btc. |
