How to change or incert 24 word phrase to phrase of 12 words wallet? or i need to create new wallet with 12 word phase and try to transfer from 24 wallet to 12 wallet?
On the first page there is a link to the official website, and there you will find a link to the discord. This issue has been discussed and the community will give you an answer to this question.
If you have a console wallet, then it is easier for you to send your coins to a new GUI wallet.

hey what works for Nvidia kawpow

I use t-rex 26.8

anything better?
If you configure your Nvidia video cards to mine this coin, then the profit will be greater than with the kawpow algorithm.
You will also really like the energy consumption when mining Gram.

Each mining equipment has its own difficulties and problems. I prefer to buy equipment after reviews, especially when one ASIC costs more than $10,000.
IceRiver KS3M -6Th/s -3400W
BM-KS Max -10.5Th/s -3400W
I would change if my electricity is expensive or I have an IceRiver KS3M buyer who will give me a good price.

I know many of you have been waiting for this news.
I'm pleased to announce that yesterday afternoon we validated our listing request on XeggeX.

386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RTX 5090 and others on: February 14, 2024, 05:18:33 PM
I hope Nvidia never makes an RTX 5090 Smiley
We don’t know how many RTX 4090s customers bought compared to other cards, but it certainly marks a shift in Nvidia’s positioning. Instead of an optional extra on top of the flagship model, the RTX 4090 is the head honcho. It’s the card that gamers salivate over. It’s the gold standard. That’s unfortunately only amplified the issues with the card.

I’m convinced Nvidia will release an RTX 5090 whenever we see next-gen GPUs, but I hope it isn’t as problematic as the RTX 4090 is. Don’t get me wrong, the RTX 4090 is a great card. But trying to achieve such high performance in a PC built for gaming has shown some side effects, and it would be a shame to see those mistakes repeated.

https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/hope-nvidia-never-makes-rtx-5090/

There is no choice left for Nvidia to try and achieve huge performance out of the new series than to accept some side effects as the power of new generation cards needs to be great and as such Nvidia needs to push it further and further.

I am very much interested in seeing how much this card has improved in mining efficiency as it needs to get to near 250 Mhsh in processing power to call it a huge improvement. As for gaming we know Nvidia kills it everytime.

With their investors now needing massive profit increases to justify the company's valuation, I suspect pricing on these won't be friendly.  I'll definitely be looking to scoop one up if the right deal comes along though.  I can only imagine if Bitcoin and other cryptos continue to rise in value what these will be selling for in a year from now.  We'll have to wait and see how the real world performance is, but if they try to price these competitively to damage competitors with a price war, it might be a get them while/if you can situation.
I suggest you watch this announcement
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5485170.0
AMD does not yet plan to make powerful video cards in the 8000 series and will actively compete with Nvidia in the mid-range gaming segment. But we have not yet seen the announcements of the 5060 and 5070 video cards

AMD Radeon RX 8800 XT to Boost Over 3GHz, will Feature Tensor Units, Fabbed on 4nm Node
AMD's RDNA 4 samples, fabbed on 4nm, are boosting between 3GHz and 3.3GHz
https://www.hardwaretimes.com/amd-radeon-rx-8800-xt-to-boost-over-3ghz-will-feature-tensor-units-fabbed-on-4nm-node/
MD’s Radeon RX 8000 GPUs are expected to land in the second half of the year, targeting the budget and midrange segments for gaming supremacy. The RX 8900 XTX was an advanced chiplet design with 10+ dies but was canceled. This leaves the RX 8800 XT, 8700 XT, and the RX 8600 XT. As reported previously, the RX 8800 XT will be a $500 GPU, offering comparable performance to the RX 7900 XTX (for ~half as much $$$).
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: kaspaclassic mining on: February 14, 2024, 05:07:45 PM
Cheesy and another KAS fork, i saw it 2 days ago on twitter, maybe i swing some GPUs on it at launch to sneak some coins for the first listing, but I think it won't live long.

Thanks FP91G for submitting the information.
I don’t remember which kaspa fork it is. Or do you think that kaspaclassic will be as successful as Ethereum classic?
In theory, all these forks should die quickly, because they are useless and they are made by a team of several people. I have now switched to mining Gram from TON, but after a few days it will appear in calculators and the good profit will end.

No this will be not successful like ETC, i think KaspaClassic is bullshit. Karlsen and Pyrin are maybe good forks, but thats it. I don´t believe much in all this forks, but we can use it to make some extra money.
So far, not one of these forks gives much profit, but the only advantage of each new project is that it lures a small part of the miners to itself, and the profit in other projects increases slightly.
And if you remember my past experience in mining shitcoins, it looks like a lottery.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starknet airdrop February 20 on: February 14, 2024, 05:01:58 PM
Note that you will need a Starknet wallet to claim your STRK through the Provisions portal. If you have a Starknet wallet, make sure you have the latest version installed and that your account is up to date.
Important: Upon the launch of Provisions on February 20th, 2024, all fees for claiming STRK via the Provisions portal will be covered by the Starknet Foundation. This is true for claiming via the official Provisions portal only.[/i]

https://medium.com/@StarknetFoundation/introducing-the-starknet-provisions-program-05d03ce13970
Ive just read about the provision, I got a wallet eligible for starknet and another one for eth mainnet. Does I still need to create another one for the eth mainnet airdrop eligible or can I use my starknet wallet for claiming also the one Ive got on eth mainnet? This is good to know that they will shoulder fees on their end. Does it means that claiming on eth will be on them.
This airdrop has a lot of recipients on two different networks. I had an argent-x wallet and I cannot qualify for other nominations except Starknet users, I need to find it and check if I will receive an airdrop. If you apply for other nominations, then you should receive a higher award.

391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Starknet airdrop February 20 on: February 14, 2024, 02:38:14 PM
The Starknet Foundation will soon launch the first round of the Starknet Provisions Program, meaning allocation of Starknet Token (STRK) to the community.
During this round of the program, the Starknet Foundation will distribute more than 700 million STRK to nearly 1.3 million addresses. This is a portion of the 900 million STRK dedicated to the Provisions program (out of 1.8 billion STRK dedicated to the community in total).
STRK will become available for claiming on Starknet Mainnet starting at 12pm (UTC) on February 20th, 2024. Already today, anyone can check eligibility on the Provisions portal at https://provisions.starknet.io. Claiming will be possible for 4 months after the launch of the program. Tokens that are not claimed during this period will be reclaimed to the pool and distributed in future rounds and/or programs.
STRK will be used for paying transaction fees, staking, and shaping the long-term evolution of the Starknet protocol through participation in governance votes.
STRK will be distributed to individuals and groups that have helped to lay down the roots of Starknet. This includes Starknet users, developers, and community contributors; StarkEx users; Ethereum protocol contributors and stakers; and developers of select non-crypto open-source projects.
How to check eligibility and claim STRK
The Starknet Foundation is proud to announce the Starknet Provisions Program! Here are the important things you need to know:

Checking your eligibility for Provisions, as well as claiming STRK through the program, will be made possible through the Provisions portal at https://provisions.starknet.io. Make sure you follow the correct URL, and beware of scams.
STRK will become available for claiming through the Provisions program on Starknet Mainnet starting at 12pm (UTC) on February 20th, 2024.
This is true for claiming via the official Provisions portal only.

393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Meridian mining on: February 14, 2024, 02:16:42 PM
We've been receiving a lot of feedback about the token, and we want to convey some important messages to our community:

1. Mining difficulty will increase over time, but not right now. We want to provide equal opportunities to all members of the Club, so we are balancing the difficulty of mining blocks. What does this mean? It means that the relevance of mining through the web-miner (directly in our bot @ton_mrdn_bot on your device's CPU) will be maintained for some time, but sooner or later, it will be increased again. For those not mining with GPU-miners on their own graphics cards, there's an additional window of opportunities opening up. Don't miss it!

2. We spot that wallet activation for mining takes too much time, so we're adding a feature for automatic activation if you use a newly created wallet — only the one you created directly within the web-miner. This way, you no longer need to jump between apps and wallets to start mining. We're removing the wallet import feature; use only new wallets, but don't forget to save their seed phrase!

And a few more notes:

🎈 To the part of the Club using their own equipment for mining, we would like to ask for honesty: over 50% of the emission is distributed to givers with the smallest rewards. We've chosen one giver and lowered the difficulty so you can continue mining through the web miner (EQAr5cz1Ovu7PJy4s8C9akci2L55L5HdnNdFVNenocLmfclE), and we ask GPU miners to remove it from their configs. However, we understand this is a temporary measure, and not all GPU-miners will stop mining from this giver. We have a longer-term proposal: allocate part of the emission from one super-low giver and move it to a new giver specifically designed for the web miner with its own algorithm. This will delay the influx of GPU-miners, at least until their code is adapted.

🎈 Also, we would like to suggest the idea of redistributing part of the emission to another additional large giver: after the increase in mining difficulty and the retirement of web mining, it would be great for everyone to try their hand at mining the most valuable rewards on large givers.

What do you think about this? Leave your comments on the proposals; we are studying all the feedback.

at home I only have a mining rig using it for Ethereum Classic + Zillica dual mining
It is not rational to use video cards for ethash/etchash. They are inferior in everything even to quiet home ASICs.
On the one hand, I like quiet home ASICs, but on the other hand, these ASICs now have a payback period of almost 2 years.
I've been looking at the Jasminer X16-Q ASIC for a long time and I like its hashrate and power consumption. But next year new, more interesting models may appear.

Is it only me or u too cant open cabinet on ninja pool?

Edit: I manage to fix it by deleting cache data.
The version of the miner has been updated in your personal account, which gives more rewards
https://ton.ninja/cabinet
Make sure you have the latest version of the miner in your settings and don’t forget to keep an eye on it
https://ton.ninja/miningPoolCli-3.1.0-linux.tar.gz
With the new version of the miner, mining is really more efficient with the same energy consumption

398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GRAM mining on: February 10, 2024, 03:16:47 PM
UPD:
The official pool with 0% fee it's pool.gramcoin.org

I have not tested this pool yet, but miners say that the amount of coins mined is approximately the same as on the ton.ninja pool, although the commission on ton.ninja is 50%.
The mining pool constantly has to make payments and therefore a large pool has constant expenses.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What's easy to mine these days? on: February 10, 2024, 03:07:39 PM
Nothing is easy to mine these days in the term that they don't give you any profit.Personally I mine only Raptoreum with some of my work PC-s and at home I only have a mining rig using it for Ethereum Classic + Zillica dual mining.I have read many threads here and saw that the suggestions here are about new coins while I prefer to keep solid ones with a huge background and a group supporting them rather than going to invest my time in trying these new coins.

If it is just a hobby project, anyone can experiment with their devices,if anyone is planning on being in profit when the time comes (Bitcoin new ATH) then it would be wise to start now if they haven't already to mine whatever coin they can with their devices that has a future.
Dual mining Ethereum Classic + Zillica is no longer profitable on many video cards, even at 5 cents per kilowatt of electricity. I'm now mining Gram and I have a profit of 50-60 cents from 1 RTX 2070 video card.
There are a lot of ASICs for the ETHASH algorithm

400  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Experiences with Miner Hosting platforms on: February 09, 2024, 02:27:56 PM
I actually visited the mining hosting platform's data center, and saw my miner up and running, so I verified before the investment, they actually provide that to a lot of people in Europe, so its kinda safe. I was happy that they let me check the data center to verify haha. The platfform that I was talking about was a platform that lets you manage your miner online in their hosting center.
It’s great that you are not associated with a cloud miner.
Write down your experience, which ASIC you bought and at what price and how much you pay for electricity and maintenance.
In Russia, mining hotels do not work with small miners, and do not allow them to enter the mining site due to safety reasons.
And there are risks when mining equipment can be confiscated, because there are no laws on mining in the country, which, according to some experts, ranks 2nd in the world.
