381  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: April 10, 2024, 09:47:56 PM
That's the best thing that a gambler can do if it's about choosing a casino. There are too many options but many of them as well can be better than the others who don't really have concern to their players.

And some may turn out into a scam and can give you headache when you're about to withdraw your money.

KYC is normal nowadays but those casinos that offers no kyc are the best choice that someone can have for playing fair and square upon withdrawals.
I don`t understand what connection is between KYC and fair play and withdrawals? The KYC can`t help you if the casino cheats and the same time casino without KYC can`t guarantee you fair play. There are nice casinos with KYC and fair play, there are the same casinos without KYC. The only difference, as for me - that it is easier to choose the casino with KYC. So just decide is you afraid of KYC or not and choose the casino.
You're only looking at the part that the casino might cheat you. But most of the casinos nowadays will ask for your kyc when your withdrawals are enormous.

Most of the gamblers don't like to process with the verification but many of us as well have just accepted it as if it's a normal thing.

And about the casinos that I am telling as a scam, it's totally about them being a scam and won't allow you to withdraw and not to cheat on a fair play.

Actually, I've read one of this kind of scam that they mimic family members or near to it. Like someone tries to introduce him/herself that they know your relative and your relative involves in an accident and they need immediate money.
that's not what happened here as this scam went on for MONTHS.

Then, someone who posed as an attorney with the Federal Trade Commission contacted her and persuaded her to send sizable payments over several months to secure her winnings and pay storage fees for the car she won.

it was her own greed that did her in. so i don't really feel sorry for her. she could have bought 10 cars with the money she had and had hundreds of thousands of dollars left over.
Well, she just fell for that trick by using someone's name and highly valued official. It's worth mentioning by these scammers and that's why they're going to do it again to the other potential victims.

The problem here is when someone over the phone or email wants you to pay this xx amount then that's how the scam goes and it's already a red flag.

I'd never pay for such.
383  Other / Off-topic / Re: The reason why you have memories. on: April 10, 2024, 08:46:22 PM
The reason why you have memory is not  just to remember the past, describe your objective world and wallow in misery as it may be.

the reason why you have memories is so that if similar something bad or good that happened in the past wants to show up in the present, you could figure how best to handle it with alacrity as much as possible.

For the bad memories, you make sure they doesn't happen again.
For good memories, you make sure that you replicate it.
Yeah, those are good reasons to use memories for some incidents that might occur in the present or in the future.

And as with those memories of the past, it's nice to cherish them because those were moments that will never coming back. As we grow older, we want those memories to be treasured by us.

We become more sentimental and that's what I've became lately.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anxiety in trading (heart disease) on: April 09, 2024, 11:57:40 PM
Don't trade when you don't have a strong heart. Anxiety and market fluctations can cause them to trigger more and you don't know what will happen next.

Those that are in this situation, give yourself a favor of not trading. You can still stay in the market by being a holder and your participation will still make you some money without that much effort and mental stress.

Don't go in for trading when you've got diseases that affects your mental health, brain, heart and other relative aspects of our bodies.
385  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: April 09, 2024, 11:23:56 PM
I still stick to the top choices of popular casinos to avoid casino scams and unfair games, popular casinos remain consistent with the conditions and conditions that have been set, if they require KYC for acceptance then they have added that regulation to the regulatory point.
That's the best thing that a gambler can do if it's about choosing a casino. There are too many options but many of them as well can be better than the others who don't really have concern to their players.

386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 09, 2024, 10:57:46 PM
I was glad to see the Phoenix Suns signed Isaiah Thomas for the rest of the year. He got done so dirty in Boston, it would be great to see him win a ring before his playing days are over and it’s great the Suns management is giving him this opportunity. Maybe not enough to get them over the hump, but they did need a true point guard so it’s a great signing.
Yeah, I am also happy to see that he's got a real contract with the Suns. He's sure be a big help to them and not just going on with 10-days contract.

The Lakers have 3 remaining games, the Warriors, Grizzlies, and the Pelicans, if they could win all that the games they are gonna improve in ranking. Just a rank of 7 or 8 is already good enough for them as they won't be in a do or die situation.
Could be, but teams like Kings, Warriors and Mavs or Phoenix has games too. And that's why every game right now is very important for the team mention. And they could surrender that they will be facing the Warriors in the play-in.
Fortunately, the Warriors is in but if there are games remaining, they should just win them all. Anyway, these teams should just avoid Heat in the playoffs. LOL.
387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful about some messages to your DM on: April 09, 2024, 10:21:05 PM
He messaged me and answered him since I've got time to chat a bit but just basic questions about crypto and different from what has been asked to OP. I don't see any scam on his message to me.

He asked about how to keep his bitcoins and if electrum was good, I said yes and adviced him to buy a HW. No links were given, etc.

And with that cryptopotato, I sometimes read articles there.
388  Other / Off-topic / Re: not to trust anyone on: April 09, 2024, 02:16:28 PM
first of all i want to say GOOD MORNING and HOW ARE YOU?
Good day and I'm fine, thank you.

i have a bad experience having a friend and become a business partner. i have a few project for online busines like drop shipping and e-commerce they leave my project and unattended. they used my server for his personal intention. like do his personal business. thats why i cant trust anybody that pretending to be a good friend.
This is why I don't do business anymore with any of my friends and relatives. The trust that you're giving them is their key to take advantage of you.

That's why if you're going to do with these kind of business or any of it, don't hire and partner with a relative or a friend.

And I hope that you're going to feel better soon mate.

That's sad and terrible.

These scammers really are targeting anyone that are not familiar with the scam. And this old woman, this might be her retirement fund that she no longer will be able to recover.

Totally these scammers are ruthless and they don't have compassion to whomever they're going to scam because they have no bracket as everyone is their potential victim.

just wait until they start using artificial intelligence to mimic family members voices. if they start doing that, expect a whole new wave of people getting scammed. then the scammers will start using AI voices to call peoples' banks and things like that...banks will probably need some type of extra verification since just giving your name and address and such might not work anymore. they call them "deep fakes"
Actually, I've read one of this kind of scam that they mimic family members or near to it. Like someone tries to introduce him/herself that they know your relative and your relative involves in an accident and they need immediate money.

So, you on the other side of the phone panicking without realizing that you're forced to send money without verifying if the call is true.

It's no longer safe nowadays, scammers will also upgrade so we also need to keep ourselves informed with their tactics.

391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you depend on game predictions by supercomputers? on: April 08, 2024, 11:24:57 PM
Predictions are also just guesses and there is no change if it comes from a supercomputer or AI or quantum computer or any advanced technology.

Because just as we, we don't know what the future holds. And with these type of computers, they're also giving a guess just how we're guessing on how a match can end.

That's why if you're lazy to make predictions then you can consider them if you find one but for me, there's really no difference at all if it's about predictions made by human or them.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: April 08, 2024, 10:57:39 PM
So this is about how we try to avoid scammers. We must always be careful, especially when we see a good offer. Always looking for more information about an offer can keep us away from fake offers that continue to be spread by scammers.

I agree with that completely.
Don't be too greedy.

Because that's the root where many of the folks here in the community becomes a victim of these fraudsters. If there won't be a victim, these fraudsters will decrease in number.

But if this is their way of giving food to their family, I hope that karma hits them hard as they don't fight life equally.

As for us that are looking into these tricks that they place on us, we need to aware of them so that we won't be their next victim.
393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what would I do, if I paid for coin and the seller refused to release it. on: April 08, 2024, 10:28:35 PM
Then you're scammed if the coin isn't released. But on which platform did you traded?

Taking 3 hours for the seller to release the coin after paying him is really alarming and tensioning. But since you've received the coin and it's been released, you have no problem at all.

You have to find a seller that has a good trading history or has 100% feedback depending on the platform that you are with.
There are other factors that can make someone not to release coin on time. The most I can point out is bad network or his phone went off. There are time when the internet service will be very bad and you can't do anything, at this point you just have to relax until the internet service in your region is restored. It could also be that the person is in a hostile environment at the moment and he can't possibly operate his phone or laptop. It could also be that he hasn't received alert and he is waiting for his bank to credit him. This scam of a thing is not just one sided, exchanges will always tell you not to release coins until your money is confirmed. You have to consider these factors first before labeling someone a scammer. There is always a 24 hours window before filing for appeal, you always have to get this at the back of your mind. Provided the 24 hours has not been exhausted you can't conclude that you have been scammed.
Yeah, and that's why it was alarming when there was a long delay. I've seen these kinds of problems for p2p concerns and majority of them were just network delay and problems.

But some did really have the intention to scam but we can't blame the receiver for panicking after paying and just waiting for the release of the coin.

Even I, I'll be sweaty at that time when I should receive the coin but when the seller don't respond quickly with releasing it.
394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking profits / being greedy. on: April 08, 2024, 09:56:39 PM
The #1 rule after taking out your capital is to do whatever you think is right with your portfolio. Since there is no longer a risk for you to lose money but the next thing comes is the potential of losing your profit that came from free money.

But going to the #1 rule since the risk is no longer there and you'll just have to regret whether your profit is quite high or becomes lower because of the decision that you didn't sell earlier.

With that, you're all free to do what you wanna do.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it right to advice other people against gambling for personal reasons like?? on: April 08, 2024, 09:21:48 PM
If we're living in a country that has freedom of speech then that's not a biggie that someone has to be problematic about.

We've got a lot of problems already dealing from our day to day living and to add with this, there's no need to be too worried about such because if someone doing it for good sake.

We just have to look at that good side of it and not to mention if it against our will because we're gamblers but if there's a good intention, we have to give that credit to that guy.
396  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the volume of meme coins in crypto? on: April 08, 2024, 08:59:26 PM
I'm concerned about the constant growth in the number of various meme coins. It seems to me that the more absurd the idea, the more popular it is among investors. In my opinion, this will never end.
Don't worry, they will end. The new creation will stop when the hype is gone and that's why everyone is chasing for their newest memecoins.

Is there any statistics or data on what percentage of meme coins make up the total volume and what percentage are popular regardless of blockchain affiliation?
CMC shows BTC and ETH dominance. So with the calculation of it, likely the portion of that remains belong to the memes.
397  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🔥Sign up on BetFury | 🤑Get Welcome Bonus up to 590% + 225 FS on: April 08, 2024, 08:23:27 PM
This is the harsh reality of casino utility token. It’s value derived from the casino success since its the speculation makes it valuable in the long run. Token staking is just a bland since user earn BFG token also or lesser when they choose other currencies while the team is draining the liquidity pool slowly and at the same time holders force to hold in exchange for small passive profit.
That's true.

The performance of the casino itself will determine the value of their own native token. But if they've been working very hard on it, there's a likely that the value will go up.

And that's one thing that's hard to maintain, the good value of the token itself from casinos as they have to add liquidity and volume of it when it's quite low.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How far can BTC go before halving? on: April 08, 2024, 12:17:31 PM
BTC touched 72k awhile ago which means it's still bullish and may continue through the halving.
We've been bullish ever since last year. I don't know why others think that we're not bullish when bitcoin drops like $10k on a flash crash where in fact that exactly a year ago price was $28k.

BTC is usually a bit bearish after halving which I usually see as my last buying chance but it's obvious institutional interest may change it's price action this time around.
Yeah, I get it that's the sentiment but that kind of bearishness compares nothing than it was a year ago.

I could be wrong but do we think we are gonna experience the same repeated price trend?
More than that.

First and foremost, im very grateful to be in this forum . I have been finding it very difficult to manage  my offline work and activities with this online forum . Please how do i go about this ?
Just go to the forum when you're comfortable. Prioritize your activities and get your work done before something else.

Try to track your progress and time by using timestamp and tracker tools for your convenience if you can't do it manually. Do some alarm on what you'd do on specific time and then do the rest when you're comfortable and when you've got spare time.
