1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: November 15, 2023, 02:22:28 AM
~snip~

maybe in the future with AI models advancing too things will change
I'm really curious for the next decades
we'll see many interesting things for sure.

any other ideas on how AI may affect the future of betting?

Well, one thing that comes to mind is speed.

Since an AI can process information much faster than the human mind, maybe there would be bets in a faster time-scales than what we can perceive.

Machines are able to uncover things that we can't see, so it's natural to see a progression towards betting on those things as well.
That's what AIs can do, they're quick in processing information and data gathering as long as it can be found on the web.

What we are not going to see is that the actual results and these predictions will just be based on the data that they can gather.

In short, they can be like us that can predict with basis but it can't do prediction like what we do like that we're just guessing.
1342  Other / Off-topic / Re: Attracting the right things through the what we focus on. on: November 14, 2023, 11:47:09 PM
Yes, that's algorithm and I don't know how you're able to relate that with focus and things in life. But that's a good motivation for those that are confused and deals hardship with their matters right now.

Go and focus yourself and deal with them one at a time.

And always, don't talk a lot infront of your smartphone or PCs that has microphones on or else you'll always get to see what you talk about especially with the brand names.  Cheesy

But when tou concentrate on Bitcoin alone, you minimize your risks and also increase your chances of making a profit out of the market at some point since you will already have your Bitcoin securely stored in your wallet and not any form of investment.
On this one, you can't control what's on the heads of people. We agree that being in bitcoin alone, lessening the risks that we take upon investing on it.

But that doesn't mean that if you invest in Bitcoin alone, you're already securely storing in a wallet, the question is what type of wallet?

Usually the new ones are treating exchanges as wallets and that's the mistake they does every time.

Thx for your answer.

Yes iam aware of the requirements. I passed all but its still in review and i wait over a month already but yeah..seems i have to wait longer.

Greetz, Ray
Maybe they have a longer process with that. But all you need to exert more is patience. Or try to give them some follow up and maybe that will do.

You're welcome, Ray.  Wink
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and misinformation on: November 14, 2023, 09:30:14 PM
Some people find it hard to even believe the truth rather they prefer to go for the lies people tell and that's how many people fall for scammers. I know you were expecting your friends to believe and take what you're telling them but what can you do when they choose not to believe what you're saying.
Is good you let them be and supposing they agreed and things didn't go as you told them because some of them only have it in mind that they'll gain and gain no loss, what with would you do?
Yeah, there is nothing we can do with that.

If they're telling that they are interested after talking to them and yet, you see them show actual no interest at all then let them be. That is how life goes on.

Whether you're the best in explanation and stories, if the people listening shows you no interest after that, there is nothing we can do.
1346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and misinformation on: November 14, 2023, 10:54:35 AM
Yeah and I've got to notice that in the past because I've got skeptic friends when I've shared about Bitcoin to them. I told them the truth and my own opinion about Bitcoin.

I've made profit too by that time before I've shared it to anybody. But I've got negative opinions instead of them getting interested on it and I felt sad that on this market that I'd love and then I want them to enjoy it as well.

Instead of the good response that I am expecting, I got nothing and even lied low friends.
That is the right thing to do. If you care about your friends and want them to be successful with you on the Bitcoin journey, the best approach is to inform them about Bitcoin, ensuring they won't have any regrets in the future for missing out on participation. Additionally, sharing your experiences and the resources you've used for learning can be persuasive. I believe that alone can convince them, and they will make up their minds. Investing is a personal choice, and discussions about investment opportunities and benefits are only necessary for those willing and eager to invest. Once they have the desire, they'll start without needing much persuasion.
There were some that's convinced but they just can't because they have not enough money to invest. I've told them that they don't need to buy entirely one bitcoin at a single purchase.

They can DCA as much as they can but they seemed to be discouraged.

There was a time when I introduced Bitcoin to my colleagues after a brief meeting in a collaborative project. One of them told me to start, and he would join me when he sees progress and returns. However, when Bitcoin went below 24k and was at 23k, he called me and said, "So how's your Bitcoin doing now that it's crashed?" People like him may not understand the technology and will likely seek ways to justify their decision not to invest. But yesterday, I called him again and asked, "How about the current price?"
Those are like the typical jerk that only wants to mock investors like us, I've encountered a lot of them with the same words and sarcastic questions with the recent price of Bitcoin.

Better to ignore them and let's just laugh at them when Bitcoin's price soars high.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King on: November 14, 2023, 09:37:54 AM
No contest.

If we're going to compare Bitcoin with the altcoins, it is definitely the king and all of the altcoins even Ethereum are just pawns of it.

It's such a nostalgic era looking at that chart when those unpopular altcoins now have been the top ones. I guess that we've just seen a huge shift on this market in terms of altcoins.

But, we have no change at all for Bitcoin as it remains at the top.

I am not into it but maybe they really are reviewing still your application.

Anyway, see this standard and requirements they have if you hit all of then.

1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: November 14, 2023, 01:28:08 AM
When you are addicted even your savings will also be used for it. Good thing that I have never done that, although I've got a few savings in the bank but I have never used any of them for gambling.

Most of the time, when I have cash in the past, I just use amount that's spare to me for any recreational actvity like gambling.

Never got to that point but I became active gambler before.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not keeping records makes me a bad gambler? on: November 14, 2023, 12:20:46 AM
That's not necessarily true because there are people who gamble just for fun and don't keep a record of their wins or losses.
When I gamble, I think of two things and that's to gamble for fun and also to make money but, I'm the type of gambler that don't keep records. I don't mind how much wins that I've got.

Because what I am sure of, they're nothing compared to the entire losses that I've made. If I'll sum all of them up, for sure that they're little and less and far from being close of my entire losses.

If they win they keep playing more. They don't track the losses because they already consider the amount they deposit as lost.
That's true, when I win, I tend to gamble more until I think that I've got less profit by that time and will secure that. Realization comes at the end when we gamble and with little profit that's left, that's what stopping us for that day.
1351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and misinformation on: November 13, 2023, 11:23:31 PM
There is no need to force that to someone that we know. We're just going to be looking like bunch of scammers if we're forcing them to invest.

Been there done that.

You let them go for themselves and don't encourage people that you know unless you are their first family. Or even with your first family, let them take care of themselves with their own assets and investments.

Forcing such on anyone will not only make you a suspected scammer, but wouldn't believe all you saying about Bitcoin even if you're saying the truth, with the way you say it might make someone who wants to walk away peacefully from the discussion, might start making enemy with you, that you want to lure him to do something he doesn't want to do.

but in as much as am trying to share knowledge about Bitcoin to those who lack it, I don't try to force it on anyone so they won't see me as a scam.

1353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: November 13, 2023, 04:58:13 PM
It's very unfortunate that a lot of traders jump into the market without having a clear understanding of the risks involved. Some traders are actually into trading because they see others who have been successful and think they can do the same without taking the time to learn the skills and knowledge needed to be successful.
That's their motivation so they copy and think that the same results will happen to them, knowing that they lack background in trading.

It is always the case that we see from those traders that are also doing what they see, hear and watch from the motivational video contents on social medias.

These content creators always are glorifying their success and making a profit out of it but with their losses, they're quiet and never shares their journey there.
1354  Other / Off-topic / Re: I have find the forum more accormodating than outside world. on: November 13, 2023, 03:47:18 PM
Yeah It sound pretty Embarasing, but that's just the truth. When you get addicted to the forum you feel like some munits of not perticipating in bitcoin forum conversation it feels you have been left behind. Sometimes you might even be having issues with your spouse. That the love you have for your mobile devices is exceptional. Saying you even have more time for your gadget than her.

I have had several situation like that, what about you.
It is actually the entire internet thing that is like our escape in reality. But if you're into the forum, I'd say a yes because I know what you feel and been there done that.

There's much more sense to talk and read topics that you are interested with and have some conversation rather than talking with someone in real life when you're not in mood.

I'm not the most active user on this forum and I haven't been here for long but there are just a few threads who really keep me interested, so I can't really relate to this
That's okay, you'll learn to feel that someday.
1355  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Gold vs Btc on: November 13, 2023, 01:05:57 PM
Schiff is a gold man and will always be. Those negative statements and FUD he has said about Bitcoin determines his bias before.

I couldn't believe this is true until I checked it myself.

https://goldprice.org/

Form that chart, gold was around $1900 in 2011 forth quarter. Gold price as of today is $1961.

It is better to buy bitcoin instead of gold.
What a determiner chart. This shows how stagnant gold for a decade and likely to move a bit for the upcoming years. Unlike with Bitcoin, it's still young but we see how it progressed.

Yeah, Buy Bitcoin!
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 13, 2023, 12:31:24 AM
The LA Clippers suck, Harden said that he's the system but everyone's now saying that he's no way the system but he's the problem of the team. I don't understand why this team with such good roster is struggling. LOL.

Maybe, oldies but goodies?

Atlanta today was the joke of the weekend.
Miami is playing without Butler and Herro and Atlanta is getting schooled in the first quarter and plays catch up the rest of the match, what a great way to blow it.

How come we see this so often, the best player of a team is out, they play on the road as well and suddenly they pull off 1 big quarter which pretty much seals it. They lose the rest of the quarters and still win easy because of the stupidity of the other team.  Roll Eyes

NBA at it's best.
Haha, certainly that they're also a joke team. I admire them when they're able to win and overcome against the Orlando Magic but not this time with the Heat.  Grin
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not get scammed by this, specially newcomers. on: November 12, 2023, 09:22:58 PM
Not only for the newcomers but also for those that have literally lost their funds. They will be desperate and will definitely try to contact them as if they are for real helpers.

Everyone has to understand that if they've lost their bitcoins then it's lost forever and no hacker is generous to return that to them.

But for some instance like those huge hacks that has happened and exploits, some hackers were able to return the funds but that's a different case as the majority of them will not have a second thought to just take away all of your funds.

Boom Esports has just announced their new Dota 2 roster with the following players:

Pakazs
SLATEM$
Sacred
Matthew
Mjz

It's an all Peruvian lineup, so Boom Esports moves to South America?

Their location is already updated to South America on Liquipedia while their coach and manager is also from South America that confirms their change of region. I won’t blame them since it’s much easier to accumulate points in there than SEA that full competitive roster.

I notice too that some SA and NA players are also moving in different region. I believe there’s a lot of reshuffle going on all teams especially some intercontinental transfer like Wisper is now on OG.
Yeah, there are a lot of players from those regions that are exploring and trying to get into new teams. Well as for Boom Esports, they're now ready to explore on SA with these known players as well so good luck to them because they don't have luck in SEA.

And the other players from SA and NA are Wisper and Ari respectively, and both of them now have joined OG.

In mobile games, I was hooked with offline rpg games. I was like spending several hours just for those various rpg games that I only downloaded with most of them in Google Play store.

These were the rpg games that I can remember that I have played.

  • Zenonia
  • Inotia

And I was a fan of emulators too, like GBA, PPSSPP, PSX. I cant remember those rpg games in psx emulator that I have played before.

@metatera. You dont say that with EU players in Dota. It is one of the strongest region.
