381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 17, 2019, 03:54:44 PM
In our country we have our local wallet where users can directly trade fiat-bitcoin/eth/xrp/bch or vice versa. We can use it to pay bills, services, purchase goods since other merchants accept online payment, and it even use it to directly make a deposit to a bank.

I hope as time goes by, the usage of crypto will not be limited as in we can use it to buy anything.
Yea and I think this is better since not everything can be bought with bitcoin so if there is this local wallet like yours you can just easily convert some coins to your local currency and command to send it to your bank account in which you can use your ATM card to buy anything. It doesn't matter anymore if it is in bitcoin or in fiat but the convenience is what matters here. I like the idea.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: May 17, 2019, 03:36:36 PM
For me it is user friendly too. It’s very feature is making it user-friendly, easy to adopt, easy to use depending on what kind or cryptocurrency though it takes more time transacting with bitcoin but still the fact that it is decentralized and not owned by any entity make it user-friendly though there are some regulations like KYC imposed to some but for me with cryptocurrency there is freedom and it makes it very user-friendly
383  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The Urgency for Scammer Blacklist on: May 17, 2019, 11:14:18 AM
The Bitcoin industry has been rife with a wide variety of exit scams, phishing attempts and other such schemes since its earliest days, but nevertheless there have not yet been any serious attempts to formalize such a blacklist system.
And how can such blacklist stop exit scams and phishing attempts from happening? Not unless they have the power to block ip addresses, phishing sites or stop transactions from happening a blacklist is just a list with no power from stopping any scam from happening in the future. Harlot is right to say that they could easily create a new identity and not only that they can still create new phishing sites as well as new scam HYIP sites in order to fool more people again.  Scams won't stop not unless people stop being victimized by them already.
It is true that blacklist will not stop scams and phishing from happening but on the other hand bringing out the facts about how rampant these illegal activities are will somehow make users more aware and careful in safeguarding their digital assets in their wallets and be vigilant in every transactions they make online.
384  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Why do some people hate Bitcoin and crypto and want it to fail? on: May 16, 2019, 05:35:30 PM
Most people you encounter are sheep and are against any and all change to their thinking and way of life, unwilling to accept anything that goes against the norm or is different.
Not totally I think. I’ve encountered some who’s been so discouraged to the point of not wanting to try anymore and even discouraging others who would want to try. They’re the people who lack enough knowledge in cryptocurrency and been victims of scams. They’ve lost much so they got traumatized and they don’t want it to happen to them and to other people again so they are trying to warn and discourage them.
385  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What do you do when you see a fly? on: May 16, 2019, 05:27:41 PM
I'm good at catching them alive and have a technique. Killing them is not fun and challenging, even though catching has become also very easy.

You have to put your palm in front of the fly and slowly move the palm towards her. When you are close, like you need maybe few centimeters to close your hand around her, you just sweep very fast forward and close the palm. Fly always fly forward so basicaly it will fly into your palm when you start to move it towards her.

After that it is all about your creativity  Grin

Wow! I didn’t know that. The most annoying experience for me is to see these flies flying around specially when I am eating and I would try to catch it or hit it with something. I don’t know for whatever reason that I cannot even hit or I’m missing it all the time. What is it, they’re too fast or I am too slow?  Grin
It is so irritating and they don’t make me itch but they do make me irritated and my last resort is to take an anti-bug spray and finish them.
386  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Life is a blockchain on: May 16, 2019, 05:12:56 PM
Every thought you have is etched into time, every action you make is etched into time (weather you remember or not) the network does. The Blockchain of Time logs everything you do!

Please note: Know that we can go back in this timeline to live or look at others chains or It is your living Testament to yourself. You cannot hide anything from the Timechain. Stop trying to sweep your mistakes under the carpets and own up to them. All your skeletons in the closet will not be hidden there on the other side. All will see!
You must be pertaining to certain religious belief that says that we will all be facing judgement whether we have done bad or good and everything about our life and deeds are recorded there in the after life. But in reality, only our own memory remembers what we did in past, and there is no public ledger that records all of those to be seen by everyone and to be looked back if we want. What we did yesterday will not be replayed today and what will happen tomorrow we don't have any idea yet.

You will judge yourself.
Your actions and thoughts are locked in time, timestamped in time, all who achieve total awareness will see them.
Interesting.  Grin
May I know where it is all written and what is your source of these belief? And who are those who will be achieving total awareness and when will that total awareness happens? Will they be able to see every detail of everyones life? You mean those who will achieve total awareness will be gods?

390  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: May 12, 2019, 07:14:19 PM
Usually the victims are the beginners since they are easily convinced and they are not yet well informed but as they are hearing more and more testimonies on being scammed by this and that company or schemes they begin to be aware and careful not to fall in the same trap. Its good to have someone who is more senior to you when it comes to experience in cryptocurrency so you can inquire or ask for advise every time you are planning to invest in whichever project or coins.
391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: eBay sellers on: May 12, 2019, 07:07:14 PM
The link cannot be found in my location. What you are explaining here is not legal to ebay as it is always said when we go out of the site like clicking the seller's own website which is not connected to ebay anymore, that we are no longer under ebay's buyers protection, so if they impose rules that are only their own and irrelevant to what ebay gives that will not be under ebay and you as a buyer will not be protected by ebay's buyer protection program.
392  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: May 12, 2019, 06:59:08 PM
There was a thread created few weeks ago regarding this matter, actually it was a news that says there is a browser extension that connects to Amazon and offers option of payment in bitcoin. A lot did not agree with the idea because there could be possible risks or danger in the part on the buyer and besides the channel that they will be using was  not that known much.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it secure to use MyEtherWallet? on: May 12, 2019, 06:50:58 PM
It is not 100% secure and people lose trust on websites that are hacked once. But what is great about them is they remind people to use hardware wallets to access their accounts or use a 3rd party wallet app when you want to make a transactions. I do follow them because I don't want any hackers to access any of my details.
True. they even remind users to always check their URL before they get in and reminding them that using private is not advisable so it is already up to the users if they heed or not, that will already be in their own risk.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: May 12, 2019, 06:44:08 PM
Even if you support Ether , it is foolish to invest in it now due to Fidelity adding Bitcoin alone in a couple weeks so at minimum as a short term strategy 100% BTC would be best

https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2019-05-06/fidelity-said-to-offer-cryptocurrency-trading-within-a-few-weeks
True that Bitcoin is still the best but let us not forget that the last bull market when bitcoin sky rocketed ethereum was not left out. during the best price of bitcoin ethereum got its best too so in my part I cannot underestimate to how far can ethereum price go but of course you are right at this moment if we want a good investment, it would be best to spend in bitcoin first before any other coins.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: only the price of Bitcoin is increasing? on: May 12, 2019, 06:32:36 PM
as we see, the price of Bitcoin starts to grow and soon the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 6000 or even more than that, but what is happening now is the price of other cryptocurrency does not increase when the price of Bitcoin increases, because usually the price of other cryptocurrency will increase also when the price of Bitcoin increases, so what do you think is happening now? does the price of Bitcoin not affect for the price of other cryptocurrency again?
What can we say, we need a little more patience in this area folk, it simply means that bull run has not yet taken place and the price that we are seeing in bitcoin is just a preparation or a beginning but there is still more to wait and expect. If we remember the last bull market that took place in 2017, almost all coins in cryptocurrency world had indeed risen in value, and I can still remember even those coins that I thought will no longer come back to life made me shocked during that time so it is not yet the time we are waiting for.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Foundation to Spend $30 Million on Development on: May 12, 2019, 06:23:48 PM
This news will surely give a positive impact to the image of Ethereum and of course we can predict in advance a rise in its value. Good to hear this news that the founder himself is sacrificing such huge amount for the development of the blockchain, this will surely increase adoption of this currency in the near future.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium 1000 $ is a dream to everyone ! on: May 12, 2019, 06:13:43 PM
Among the Altcoins ETH is the Altcoin that I like the most. ETH can reach $ 1,000 if Bitcoin returns as it was in 2017. Today ETH has reached $ 200 which is a good sign after a year of falling. So Ethereum will soon reach $ 1,000 and it doesn't a dream for everyone.
Ethereum though not as massively adopted as bitcoin it has already passed the test of time and still standing. I like Ethereum too, easy to transact with and doesn't take must time like bitcoin. If there is one altcoin that I like the most it is ethereum and I'm hoping that along with leading coins as bull run takes place before the end of this year ethereum will also reach even more than $1000.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Newbie? on: May 11, 2019, 11:50:05 AM
Sorry for your disappointment bud. You are right that there not much trusted and real projects out there but don’t lose hope, learn from your mistakes, learn and study the project first before joining. I’ve also been scammed a lot of times, and sad too that though sometimes got paid but cannot get better price for the coins. I can say that bounty is like gambling, sometimes you are lucky and sometimes not.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?? Or I'm too late?? on: May 11, 2019, 11:36:06 AM
maybe it's a little late, but it's still very profitable to buy now. Bitcoin prices have only just begun to rise this month, so the opportunity to earn profits is huge. I might have bought bitcoin a few weeks ago, but if the price of bitcoin continues to increase. I will not hesitate to convert the altcoin that I have for Bitcoin.
Its ok folk. For someone who is eager to earn and hopeful for a true bull market will grab the opportunity of investing no matter if last month was the perfect time. I know someone who bought bitcoin when the price was $18,000 and yet he is still hopeful and patiently waiting. We are indeed heading to bull run and I can feel the excitement about it.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term plan for investment. on: May 11, 2019, 11:29:27 AM
Hy all. How are you.Do you have a long-term plan for cryptocurrency investment? What are your plans, Is it only to gain profits in the future? Or you have hope and other dreams. Thank you very much.
Both long term and short term. If there will be a chance that I can profit 10x - 100x in a long term then its worth the wait but I am also open for short term. To put part of my investments into it and see if I can profit minimally but at least avoid loses.
