3881  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: February 09, 2016, 10:27:57 AM
I just wish I could buy a physical bitcoin/bitcoins with my digital bitcoins. It would make it easier for me to then trade offline with my coins and it would be similar to the gold coins I store today.
3882  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bankroll management - Don't go bust all the time on: February 09, 2016, 10:02:53 AM
I agree with most of your points mentioned but I doubt most of the gambler who are addicted to the game would adopt this strategy. Usually I've seen my friends investing 50% or more in their bets and even if they lose, they never stop. I can adopt your method of investing 0.01-0.02 at a time but with sports betting, I would need to invest more.

3886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 08, 2016, 07:48:06 PM
NO, there is no safe way for gambling. If you don't want to take the risk, then you won't earn the profit.

Gambling is just for fun. That is true for most people (gamblers). It can earn living for very few professionals.
You are true it is for fun, and it should be for fun as other games, but I think it can earn some amount of money but cannot earn living for someone as for living one need a continuous income/earning, and in gambling one should consider that there is also a chance of lose.
3887  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise again on: February 08, 2016, 07:13:14 PM
Bitcoin will rise again of course.

Bitcoin almost died a lot of time, and this problem will not be bitcoin's death

Yeah, bitcoin will rise after halving for sure and the value of bitcoin would reach to a moon in future, the only thing bitcoin seeks at a moment is the adaption level and support from the people, and it would be more stable in future.
I too do not have any doubt that bitcoin will rise. The upcoming halving will ensure how much price appreciation of bitcoin we can expect. Bitcoin is going to be mainstream adoption of payments. So, we can see price raise very soon.
I am not so sure whether bitcoins will benefit from this halving. It all depends on the demand and market trades as well and currently the price is not too high. If litecoins can drop after halving last year, bitcoins too may drop but I am still holding my coins till then and am ready for the results.
3888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 08, 2016, 05:25:00 PM
It is addicting cuz there is money involved, who doesn't want easy money? Also there are people who love taking risks and have a compulsive desire for adventure and excitement. That's the reason why gambling is addicting I guess

Yes, involvement of money with gambling is the prime reason gambling makes people addicted. Most of the gamblers believe that they can make huge profits from gambling and ending up with gambling addictions.
3889  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 08, 2016, 02:40:26 PM
It's difficult to earn a living with something that is somewhat still in a beta mode. Bitcoin is suppose to grow and only grow. Not sink, or be stagnant. Bitcoin holding is a risky thing to do.
Bitcoin is not in beta mode anymore now. And it works like fiat so you can easily earn same amount in bitcoin offering service for bitcoin inspite of fiat.
Yeah bitcoin is now an established currency working normal as other currencies, the ups and downs in the price are a normal feature of all currencies.
And if you mean that reaching the price of bitcoin to $1000 will make it established and the currency with low value is not established then what do you think about all other currencies of the world which are the tiny particles relative to bitcoins.
3890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2016, 01:56:05 PM
Create your own exchange, wait untill the amount of BTC and Users are high enough (one year is a rough-and-ready rule).
Then send the BTC to another address and make the following announcement:
"We got hacked. 3900 BTC were stolen from our wallets."

It's easy … isn't it?

thats a great idea but risky too.....giving the statements "we got hacked" must not turn into " you are the hacker"
But it is a non moral and forbidden way to earn, also a cheap way. With that we will destroy hundreds and thousands of lives by stealing their money. It is forbidden by humanity. Plus with that method one can easily be arrested just like the owner of liberty reserve.
3891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: February 08, 2016, 01:05:27 PM
Without a defining killer app, I am confident that Bitcoin will, in fits and starts, inevitably return to its 2009 levels. It would be pointless to guess how long that process will take; or when that killer app will appear although I am also confident it will appear at some entirely unpredictable point.

I'm easily old enough to remember the very early days of personal computers. I remember a story from The Wall Street Journal in which a reporter interviewed a small-business owner (I think an auto-repair shop) who had bought an Apple II. The reporter asked the man what he thought of his purchase. The man stared glumly at the Apple for a moment and then sourly commented: "The damn thing just sits there."

Exactly. The world was just never going to buy into a command-prompt environment in a really big way. But the Mac came along and then the world began to change. (Be like the Mac! Bill Gates commanded his troops developing Windows 95.) And so it will be with Bitcoin. The world will never buy into it until an environment comes along that makes it easier, safer, and a lot more fun to use. Until then, the price will suffer periodic whale-dumps and then sort of bounce, spurt, and finally just roll along long enough for people to start talking (again) about "Bitcoin's recent price stability." And then yet another whale-dump will splash the water and the retroactively obvious cycle will begin again.

If you decide to go, then you will miss out on the killer app that will send Bitcoin to the moon and beyond. If you decide to stay, then you will watch the value of your stash just ebb away before your eyes. That choice defines your control.

As for me, for now I'm going to stay. But I've got Coinbase and can go in a second. That could happen at any time too.

[Comment added June 23, 2015:

My conclusion: stay. The blockchain itself will be the killer app upon which all other apps and bitcoins' fiat value will depend.]

yes i am also will stay, bitcoin have to help my self to survive, nothing gonna change my passion to bitcoin, even bitcoin price drop so far,but i will stay.
I also will stay, I know that bitcoin will be increased in value very high in coming future even in this year. We have to hold some bitcoin with us in our wallets so when the price increase our money will also get a chance to increase in price, it is a best way to get richer and earn a huge amount of money.
3892  Economy / Speculation / Re: So China accepting bitcorn. on: February 08, 2016, 12:01:48 PM
I heard china is generating its own digital currency. This might risk china users at times. China won't ban bitcoin as more people are working for it but sure it will try to make people use their own country digital currency. This might have effect on the price of bitcoin and bitcoins growth.
On the contrary, I think that Bitcoin WILL grow because of this. Indirectly, of course. Cryptocurrency is not stand-alone, let alone easily converted. I believe that if China uses this, many people will invest in Bitcoin and large companies will convert the Chinese digicurrency back and forth with Bitcoin for extra income. Basically, this news means more revenue and exposure for Bitcoin. (Plus, who woudn't want a much larger Bitcoin community?)
3893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: February 08, 2016, 11:56:48 AM
~snip~
Yes everyone uses many bitcoin wallet different for different uses.
This was done in order to remain safe and secure bitcoin.
Yeah, everyone know that it is more secure if they use multiple bitcoin wallets, as all the online transactions of bitcoin are viewable to everyone. So I prefer to use multiple wallets so that no one know about all my transactions and I do not want that someone know about that how much bitcoin I got and I have.
3894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: February 07, 2016, 07:49:40 AM
It will boost bitcoin usage and price for sure, but i still concern about the age verification

are there any porn company that can prevent illegal age to access the site?? If there is, it will be a good idea
I think for age they must have to register the debit card or credit card number , so it will provide a best way to follow age limit rule. So after registration at the site with their credit card number, they will then pay later with their bitcoin account. I think it will be better.
3895  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: February 05, 2016, 06:09:19 AM
I think BTC has great potentials in the future to become an important internet component rather than just increase in price.
Yes bitcoin will also be the biggest payment method in online trading.
I'm sure many people will adopt bitcoin to as the transaction process.

For become it to be a global currency, it should have to have somewhat stable price, then will it have the chances to be acceptable at all over the world. Then I think bitcoin will have a great future, to be a global currency.

We all love bitcoins but the unstability of price of bitcoin does not leave us to love it more sometimes.

It is not a big problem, after seeing bitcoin at $1200 and then its continuous falling in value makes a large number of people to disappoint from bitcoin. While the actual problem is not with bitcoin. Everyone use it as a source of investment as well as normal currency, there are a lot of its other features also which make bright future for bitcoin.
3896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2016, 05:24:00 AM
Not in the night while sleeping but at the daytime I sometimes dreams of a thousands bitcoins in my wallet and each of them have a price of $1200 or more. I will at that time time withdraw them from to my bank account and will use it to buy a business and a luxurious house for me.

3898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: February 02, 2016, 09:02:49 PM
That hang on how much you bet viz. If you bet a lot of you can win a lot.
If you have little bet you can win less. So it takes an investment.

I never consider gambling for making huge profits. Because my previous attempt to make fortune with gambling got failed. So, I just gamble now a days for time pass and to test strategies.
3899  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2016, 08:43:06 PM
Invest some cash into BTC, BTC price rising to $10,000, me having few millions. The real cornerstone of that plan is BTC worthing $10,000 but time will tell if it can actually reach that level Cheesy

I am also aiming for 10k price levels. But, I just keep on buying bitcoins only on monthly basis. May be I require 100k price levels to become rich with the number of bitcoins I will have.
3900  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2016, 08:41:02 PM
you just have to tell them a lot about it and make them use bitcoins

Just talking about bitcoin is not a working way in my view. We must show them some good results and practical applications and advantages. This may motivate them to use bitcoins.
