Got everything going but have one problem GPU voltage shown incorrectly its always 1.20V but my gpu's on 1050mv
-using free version to monitor and miner agent software (not service) on mining rigs
-msi afterburner and msi server both running on rigs
-voltage control and monitoring unlocked in msi afterburner
-win10pro64 on all machines, gpu's 280x
Is it showing as 1.20V both on GPU tab and the System tab in Awesome Miner? |

I have a major issue with awesome Miner Currently.
I have 9 Rigs. I bought the 10 Rig Package.
The problem is I have 3 Nvidia rigs which switch between Equihash and CCminer.

As the others have commented, there is something really weird going on with the Profit Switching.
I have several pools added to the pool list, they are all enabled.
For some reason, the program is constantly switching to a coin which has much lesser value than the top open.
And I'm not talking about a few cents less, sometimes the coin it chooses is half the profit of the top one.
Other times it just gets stuck with a coin, like if it has a mind of its own and it decided that is going to be that coin and only that one.
Doesn't matter how many times you restart the miner and update the coin interface, it will keep going at it.
Even if you completely close the program and open it again, it will go back to that coin.
When that happens, I open the log file and look at the "Profitability information". Even in the log file it clearly says that the other coin is more profitable, yet the program continues choosing its "preferred" coin.
I know that you are busy and all but giving that this is one of the most prominent features of your program, I think it should receive priority.
Hi, I will add a feature that better shows the calculated profitability and decisions made by the profit switcher. Today this information is available if you open the log file, but that's not very user friendly. Keep in mind that the profit profiles are based on typical hashrates for AMD and nVidia cards. If your setup performs better/worse on specific algorithms, you need to manually adjust the hashrates for this (or right click and save the hashrate), otherwise the profit switcher will not be fine tuned for your setup and could make decisions that are not perfect. Algorithm benchmarking is also a requested feature that is on the list of features to add in the future. |

That's not supported. However, in the next release it will be supported to specify different wallets for each miner. |

Is it possible to modify the web interface that comes with AwesomeMiner? Would be nice to customize it myself.
The source code for the web site is bundle and minimized so it's not realtistic to modify it. The Awesome Miner API allows you to develop your own web interface, but that can be a significant task. |

Hey guys i just tried to followed the step settings that puwaha mentioned earlier yesterday and left it mining overnight while i slept, it stayed on 1 algo mining, equihash the entire night with no switching, i had 8 algo's turned on to switch with... Different mining software report the GPU's in different orders. Also, with the latest version of the Claymore Ethereum miner, it also changed the GPU order compared to previous versions. This is why it's never possible to compate the order of the GPU's when you do clocking and the order on the GPU tab. If you run into problems with hashrates not matching specific GPU on the GPU tab, you also have the button "Map to system monitoring" where you can change the order. |

Zpool`s hash rate on Equihash is very low, the program wrong calculate profitability and auto switches to mining on Zpool though there the income is 10 times less appears. Correct please, and that isn't possible to use. My 1070 and 1060 Nvidea have worked 6 hours and have earned on this pool 0.0002 Btc (0.0008 BTC/day). However the program showed approximately 0.025 Btc/day
I've had a similar experience. I don't know if the hashrate was the actual problem but the income was much lower (lower than half) of what it should have been with my hashrate (the estimates seemed OK but they didn't work out, I assume a zpool issue but not sure what the actual problem was) The calculated profit in Awesome Miner is based on the statistics from the online services like Nicehash and Zpool. When you mine on a pool like Zpool, the expected profit is just a value based on your hashrate and how many coins you currently get for that hashrate given that the pool has average luck in finding blocks. You can get large deviations if: 1) The pool has few miners and low hashrate 2) You only mine for a shorter period of time So from an Awesome Miner point of view, it's not really possible to correct anything. What I could do is to implement some configuration where you say that you don't want a specific algorithm for a specific service like zpool. This will however make the profit switcher even more complex to configure. Today you can only disable specific algorithms and specific services, but not a specific combination of the two. |

Now imagine you are doing this every 5 minutes... you won't make much profit. You can combat this by increasing the profit switching interval to a much higher number. 30 minutes is probably the minimum you should look at.
In my opinion, it's actually better to look at the trends of the coin, rather that what is most popular at that instant. I would prefer to see AM use a weighted measurement average to determine the most profitable coin. For instance, if you set the interval to 30 minutes, it should check to see what "place" it's in. If the coin is in the top spot, it should get a "1". If it's in second place a "2". Then average that number with all the other interval checks over say the past week... and the lowest average number is what you should be mining. That will reduce switching to coins that will not perform well, and will bring more profit. It takes into effect the time it takes for the pool to accumulate coins, send them to the exchange, and then pay you the spot price in BTC. I think a weighted average will give you a lot more consistent profit. I'd love to see this feature Patrike!

I have an issue using Miningrigrentals.com and awesome miner.
I connect to the same address for all algos and use different usernames. So whatever coin I specify for any rig using miningrigrentals.com turns all of them to that coin. I find this odd because you have them listed as an online service.
I will have to investigate the MRR integration a bit more here. This integration was originally developed back in the days where sgminer was popular, and this software always reported complete worker name information over API to Awesome Miner. These days with Claymore miner, dual mining, no information about worker name from the mining software and also the complexity of wallet addresses, it will be difficult to make a good and stable integration with MRR. One option could be that I force you to enter some MRR username/rigname in the properties of a pool in Awesome Miner, to ensure that the feature can work no matter of mining software being used. |

It looks like it's the exchange rates (listed in the status bar) are a bit old. In the Options dialog, Statistics section, do you use Coinbase as source? What if you change to Bitstamp? I haven't changes it from any default settings. I included the full screen as you can see the data/time it last updated at the bottom. If I click update now it updates but stays the incorrect price, some times it changes to the correct prices and another click of update now will revert it to the wrong prices...so not really sure what's going on And yes its set to coinbase. The coin statistics from WhatToMine is probably updated correctly, but from your screenshots it looks more like the Bitcoin exchange rate is too low, and that one is from Coinbase. Because this one is lower than it should, it will have impact on all other values as well. Could you open the log file for Awesome Miner (toolbar: Tools -> Log file) and search for coinbase and see if you see any error messages? |

If you open the Properties for the Managed Miner, is it pointing to a valid pool? And that pool has Ethereum or similar as coin? It is pointing to zpool with auto profit switching and no zpool doesn't support Ethereum so why did it open in the first place? Also i have another question why is it mining on the equihash algorithm when there are many more profitable algorithms(supported by zpool) and why is it telling me that im gonna make 4.43 euro/day when the most profitable equihash coin is worth 3.81 euro/day For the first problem you describe, I would need an API report (toolbar: Tools -> API Report) to figure out the scenario. There can be other Equihash coins not listed in Awesome Miner that has higher profitability, and for Nicehash, there can be hashrate buyers that pay even more. For that reason, Equihash can be more profitable than any individua coin. |

You should be able to define two Managed Templates ( http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/managedtemplate.aspx). One with ccminer on Auto-download (which is ccminer-spmod). The other one ccminer with custom path, where you point to your ccminer-Alexis. Then you should be able to apply these template to one or many Managed Miners in a single operation. Even if I add support for ccminer-Alexis in addition to ccminer-spmod - you would still be required to do the same switching with templates unless you manually go into each miner. ... but doesn't this mean that we don't get the automatic profit switching ability  ? My aim it to have it switch between ccminer and ccminer-fork based on whichever pool which has been selected from the pool-group, by the profit-switcher. I hope there is a way to achieve this.  EDIT: Also with ccminer (and same if I load in a ccminer fork) I have issue where I cannot send parameter for the miner by using the pool settings dialogue. example: maybe a specific intensity or worksize, or similar - to be used for a pool. I have sent an email about this to info@awesomeminer...... maybe I just do not understand how to achieve this. I see I can do it with the managed miner, and a template ..... but then *I* have to switch it - but I would like the profit switcher to do it for me. For the profit switcher you can only use one version of ccminer. Either you use the built-in ccminer, or you configure your profit profile to use your custom ccminer-alexis. You cannot use both at the same time in the profit switcher at the moment, but this will change soon if I add support for ccminer-Alexis as well. Device profile settings cannot be set per pool, but you can configure device profile settings for each mining software being used by the profit switcher if you edit your Profit Profile. |

Did you install and run the remote agent? It listens on port 9630 Make sure this port is also open in Windows Firewall. Thanks for answer. I just installed remote agent in rig and enable service. Then I try to search in different PC with awesome miner and didnt find it. Im forgetting anything? I will try to check the ports are opened. Thanks In your first scenario that you talked about, where you were looking for the EWBF miner, it's important that the EWBF miner was started with API enabled and on a port that is within the range you scan in Awesome Miner. In the new scenario where you want to add your Remote Agent, you should select "Awesome Miner Remote Agent" in the network scan dialog. Also uncheck the option "Ping first" if you experience problems in finding your miner. If it still doesn't work, you can verify that you don't have any firewall or similar blocking the connection to the Remote Agent. You can also try to manually add the Managed Host from the Options dialog, instead of scanning for it. |

I have two questions that I've come up with as I'm using this software more and more.
- I found an earlier post about auto benchmarking for profit switching. Is this still in the works?
- Do you plan to support excavator server 1.2.9a? It seems like the start structure of it has changed significantly from the previous excavator so pointing the existing profile to it doesn't seem to make sense. Also, will you allow for overclocking settings to pass through to excavator or better to let afterburner continue to handle that?

1) Benchmarking is on the list of features to implement, but it will not be available within the next month because of many other priorities. It's still possible to configure the hashrates manually for the profiles in the Option dialog. 2) The latest Excavator will be supported later on. The API for this miner has changed significantly recently so it's difficult to keep up with. I've not yet decided which overclocking settings to support, but it's likely that overclocking using Excavator will be supported in addition to MSI Afterburner. So far the Excavator minor hasn't been that popular, which is the reason I've put it a little lower on the list of features to add. |

Hmm seems to be a small bug, but i can't seem to move miners to a different group, they're all in (My Miners) i can't can create a group but not move anything into it.
So you have more than one miner group created already? When you drag and drop, it can be a bit sensitive where you actually drop it if you don't have any other miners in the group. Try to drop it in the status or progress column instead of the first column. |

Random question, so currently i mine using my own batch file that i have code written to switch the OC and UV settings on the fly as it changes algo's to mine. I see GPU OC/UV is available under the $120 version, but does this allow me to change these settings on the fly per algo? i ask because in my time mining i have learned that different algo's can be OC/UV way more than others and stay stable, while others are just so unstable that minimal tuning from default settings causes them to crap out or freeze up the computer...
Example....
Rig00, my personal gaming PC
Skein, i mine it on +317 Core, -1000 Mem
Equihash, i mine on +120 Core, +650 Mem
It's unfortunately not possible to change overclocking settings automatically depending on which miner you start, but the plan is to add support for it. |
