India are in a very strong position in the fifth test match against England. England have been reduced to 198/7, in spite of a 60 run opening stand. But India must remember that they lost 2 tests from such strong positions, due to England's tail wagging. They must ensure that England do not score more than 20-30 runs tomorrow.

I can only wish them luck. With increased use of Bitcoin mixers, CoinJoin transactions and privacy focussed altcoins, the Japanese government is going to face a tough job. But they cannot stop trying. It might be easier to fight the non-monetary leg of crime.

Nepal was supposed to be the next team to emerge from Asia, after Bangladesh and Afghanistan, given that there is strong support for the game at the grassroot level. But they could manage only 95 runs against Hong Kong in a 50 over match. They have a long way to go!

We have been told by a long-standing community member, and one of the TTO founders, that tradetheodds.io is nearing launch! https://tradetheodds.io/That is nice. Another boost to Byteball. Online gambling seems to be the easiest and most popular activity, where cryptocurrencies and smart contracts come together. And Byteball does have a natural advantage in these use cases.

I heard that BYTEBALL will be listed next to binance. Is this news true? If it can be listed in binance, this is a very encouraging news, BYTEBALL will also usher in a big rise.
Byteball has lost in voting and was 4th This is pretty sad. Binance has hundreds of shit coins listed, but they hold a vote to see which additional coin should be listed? They should have listed Byteball a long time ago. I am sure it will be worth their while to list it; not sure what they are waiting for.

This was a great test match as there were a lot of ups and downs through out and it was tough to pick the winner. England were just the better team at certain stages of this test match. For me it was Moeen Ali who was the game changer through this test match taking 9 wickets in the match and was the one to get the 2 danger men in Kohli and Rahane in India's second innings. After these to feel India feel apart and it was game over. Congrats to England on winning the series.
As expected, England managed to win this test match. The Indian bowlers have performed well this series, but were let down by the Indian batsmen. It was never going to be easy chasing a moderate total in the fourth innings. The minute India lost early wickets, it all went downhill.

Numismatics is the study or collection of currency, including coins, tokens, paper money, and related objects. While numismatists are often characterized as students or collectors of coins, the discipline also includes the broader study of money and other payment media used to resolve debts and the exchange of goods. If you look at the underlined part of the definition of Numismatics, then you should not hate Bitcoin or Crypto currencies. Do you think they classify Bitcoin/Crypto currencies as a payment media? Do they prefer physical objects over digital payment media? If there are any Numismatists out there, please give your opinion on this subject, because I am very curious where you stand on this. I am a coin collector and I love all forms of payment media. <Credit cards/Debit cards/Crypto currencies/Paper money> Share your thoughts please. They shouldn’t. Numismatics anyway have a lot of fiat coins to collect. If they want to branch out, they can collect physical bitcoins as well. If coins decrease in circulation because of adoption of cryptocurrencies, then their collections will become more valuable.

If England adds another 30 to 40 runs then they got an upper hand to win this match based on last innings batting performance by visitors team unless Virat (Indian captain) do some magic to chase those runs. I think we can take some risk to bet on England if one wants a bet on this match. If India wants to win this match then the rest of the two-wickets they need to pick up as soon as possible.
Hmm... as usual the responsibility falls on Virat. He now needs to make up for the pathetic performance by the other players such as Ravichandran Ashwin. For how long this will go on? I think they can add 30-40 more runs and can stretch the lead around 270 runs as curran is still at the crease and he is a positive alrounder and broad and anderson also have the ability to hand around for some time and score some runs India will need to get some quick wickets or they are going to lose this match and along with it this series as well. It will be very difficult to chase a total close to 300. They will have a fighting chance if they manage to take the remaining English wickets for around 20 runs.

It might have some use cases, but I see no reason to invest in a centralised cryptocurrency. It would be as good as holding a traditional bank account. You may be subject to know your customer norms and your funds could be frozen. It still beats me why Ripple increased in value during the crypto bull run.

And that brings me to my point: is this a market Byteball wants to compete in? As far as I know, main dev Tony ( tonych) always wanted real world adoption for Byteball. And although Ethereum has gained a large market share by supporting useless ICOs, (almost) all of them only have some fictional idea that will never work. That is true. There are a lot of real world applications for Byteball - the possibility to raise money through ICOs on the Byteball platform is just one of them. We know that Tony promoted the use of Byteball for ICOs, but is this going to be the primary use of Byteball?

This has been a good fight back by England and now its any ones test match to win. Right now England have all the momentum but with the way the pitch is playing it can all change in an instant. Moeen Ali bowling performance was what turn the game around in England's favour and picking up a hat trick in the process. I think if England can get a lead of at least 300+ runs it will be very tough for India to chase it down on this pitch.
We've seen so many ups and downs already in this match. First no one could have thought that England's lower-order (Sam Curran and Moeen Ali) would come and just double the score, then India was looking very good today until Moeen Ali's bowling changed everything. What's next? The match is very interestingly poised. Although India took the lead, it wasn’t substantial and England will look to wipe it off quickly. India will take heart from Pujara’s return to form. It is important that India get quick wickets and restrict England to a low score as they will be playing last on this pitch.

I don't see anything wrong with that should bitcoin be regulated. It's not really a threat per se.
Though it does feel that it somehow violates the primal design of bitcoin, i do believe that perhaps regulation will do good. With so much scam and negative feedbacks circulating around, a regulation might help promote trust and confidence among investors.
Perhaps that is why there's a push for bitcoin etf. Perhaps being regulated by a governing authority in the financial industry will give it a much needed boost for stability.
Most people do not advocate regulation because they feel Bitcoin is a threat. They advocate regulation because they feel regulations can give legitimacy to bitcoin and bring in new investors. It is however important that regulation is light-touch and does not throttle innovation

I really wouldn’t mind storing my bitcoins in one wallet - as long as I am sure about securing it. As far as the privacy perspective is concerned, there are enough mixers and software out there which can be used to obscure one’s identity.

No, of course. Bitcoin is just a tool. Like a knife. But the bad or good it makes a person when used.
That is in line with what most people think. The early FUD about Bitcoin being used for money laundering was largely baseless, since any fiat currency or commodity can be used for the same as well. The larger argument that the OP makes is that Bitcoin derives its value from the community.

India seem to be a transformed team after their victory in the third test match. They have reduced England to 50/4 and need only a couple of wickets more before they can have a go at the tail. If the schedule had involved a few more practice matches, India would have done much better in this series.

I think technical analysis is a self-defeating prophecy. If you think about it - if the charts predict that the price of Bitcoin is going to drop after it crosses a particular level - people will try to play the charts and take positions before hand. This would ensure that the pattern predicted by the charts will not occur. You are better off taking a long term call on Bitcoin.

Their headquarters, where they plan to operate, and if they're even registered. They may also implement KYC procedures even if they aren't required by law.
If you're asking how to know whether or not they implement the procedures themselves, it should be on their site somewhere or you could simply try signing up.
Another factor is whether the ICO is open to investors of all countries. Some countries, including the US, may have onerous restrictions of their citizens invest in ICOs. You could argue that cryptocurrencies are stateless, but governments have a way of establishing nexus and coming after you. That is one reason why ICOs (and even gambling sites) restrict participation from US citizens.

No matter how much energy is used for Bitcoin miners, the electricity bill will still be paid by the miners to the state, and there is nothing wrong with this. this news is really exaggerated by some people, because if compared to factories, Bitcoin mining is not comparable, factories use more energy but people never realize that, I think some people want to make Bitcoin look bad.
You are dead wrong. It does matter a lot. Doesnt matter, who pays it - in production cost is too high, its pointless to produce it (once pump&dump is over) and it will be abandoned. If the price decreases, it won't become pointless to mine. All miners have a different cost base. Miners whose cost of electricity is very high will stop mining. The difficulty of finding blocks will adjust (decrease) and life will go on. Variations in price will definitely not decide the future of Bitcoin as a currency and as a network.

Ireland take on Afghanistan in the first ODI today. Afghanistan dominated Ireland in the T20 series, but I expect ODIs to be more evenly contested. Ireland have had some strong performances against Afghanistan, winning two out of the last 3 matches. However, they lost in the ICC World Cup qualifiers and will want to avenge that.

It would be better to post the original Bloomberg article, rather than the Cointelegraph one. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-08-24/not-even-515-million-in-new-tether-can-help-this-crypto-dump?srnd=cryptocurriencesEveryone should read Kraken's article disproving the news media's clickbait and the scientific paper FUD that USDT is printed to manipulate bitcoin.
In any case, I have already told everyone. USDT is issued when the price of bitcoin falls because there is more demand for USDT. Also when there is more demand for USDT, there should be more supply to maintain the $1.00 peg.
I agree with you that is how the peg should be maintained in the ideal case. New USDT should be issued in exchange for dollars, and the dollars should be held safely by the Company issuing the USDT. It is the latter part of the equation that people are not certain about.
