41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you trust the most? on: February 08, 2021, 11:20:09 AM
As of now, even though USDT had its fair share of blunders, Tether is still the most flexible ALT in the market and is the one go to from exchanges both DEX and CEX. I always use it with my BTC day trading.

I am using USDT as well. It is available in almost all exchanges and it is the preferred currency used for some ICO too. Further more I can easily transfer it without fees using USDT on Tron network. So a win win for all.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: February 08, 2021, 11:18:33 AM
In my view, if there's a new project out there that you think would be perfect for your investment - do not invest big but instead watch how the project perform first or how the team is doing their best to increase its value and its use-cases - this is why roadmaps are important and should be visible for every traders to see.
Take a look at when the project was established and how it has progressed on the roadmap set out when it started. If they managed to achieve it  and the problem that they set out to solve still exits then go ahead with some amount comfortable for you.

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: February 07, 2021, 01:28:10 PM
It's 90% untrue story when new projects failed to launch their project because of COV19 pandemic because every thing about crypto is digital, you can continue development digitally even if the team are in their separate homes, I can still cut some slacks with projects from Italy and France, they are the hot zones of Cov-19 pandemic but what about others??? We have Zoom app thats very good for team to come together and make a plan because of social distancing,. What am I missing guys Huh Am I right or wrong?

I wouldn't say as far to go that the digital platforms wouldn't be unaffected by Covid but it wouldn't affect in a way where the projects have to completely stop the project. That would mean they are just trying to find a excuse for a soft exit.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Ethereum smart contracts with +$20 cost of gas? on: February 07, 2021, 01:25:34 PM
https://ycharts.com/indicators/ethereum_average_transaction_fee

Today the cost for 1 transaction reached +$20!
How can all these smart contracts continue to operate? How these Defi projects can continue to be functional?

Are we heading to a crypto crash? Any feedback and comment about this situation? How this is affecting you or your business?
Nothing too complex about it. They need ETh 2.0 and reduce the gas fee as soon as poosible or we will see projects and DAPPS moving to other protocols. We are already seeing many planning to move to Polkadot and there are competitive protocols coming up.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The pump and dump scheme on: February 07, 2021, 01:16:59 AM
Many people just see the price pump and they started investing in it. In recent i saw many people when they saw Dogecoin pricevpump. They also started ingesting in it without research why price pump and either Dogecoin has any new partnership or feature launched. Price dropped very soon and hurts many traders..

That's the bad side of influencers who depend on their followers doing momentum based invest or price action investment . I almost never do that . I only invest when the fundamental of the project is good not just news/hype .
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter to presale investor! on: February 07, 2021, 01:14:17 AM
I am still not that regular in bounty hunting but by reading some old topics about researching potential bounty projects, I learned some good staffs!

Then I got some money and was thinking why not invest in this Defi, bull, and polka season! So I researched my best, tried several presale wars and After filling 5-6 presale forms, I got lucky in a polkadot based presale! I knew I won a jackpot but did not even realize my 500$ can become 4800$!!!

Now, I am feeling money is flying in the crypto industry, you just have to smart hard worker to grab them!

After such earning, I am looking for good presales and bounties, I won't stop my running until I become whales, because one guy made 1000 ETH from 800$, he is my inspiration now!

God bless you all.

That's so nice to see and encouraging to hear that we are infracting helping people get into crypto investments and the  can infact make money but b doing  research and choose the right project.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NANO coin - why is it not hyped? on: January 19, 2021, 09:07:13 AM
It is said to have no tx fees. How does it protect itself from spam attacks?

It is said to be scalable and fast. If it is secure why this coin is not hyped more ?

Is the team just bad in marketing? Is it still in development?

For me it seems to be the best coin so far.

Isn't it the same coin that got lost in value due to a italian exchange hack?

I was an early investor and lost all the coins of Nano that I held in the exchange. Haven't looked back into it since that loss.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 14th BNB Burn on: January 19, 2021, 09:03:40 AM
What difference does it make when there is another burning of coins? if you can buy coins at any price now, be sure that you cannot stay in the red for the distance.

The Bnb burn has really set a precedent for all the deflationary token coins that are turning up now in Defi.
The value of BNB has rocketed partly due the adoption and partly due to the scarcity created by the burns .
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The real crypto is about stable coins on: January 19, 2021, 09:01:18 AM
The real crypto that I know is bitcoin and that's final, stable coin is just USD in digital version, it's same thing that CBDC will be (stable coin), CBDC is here to represent our FIAT in digital form too, I don't have to be told the difference here because it's very clear to see and understand

For all we moan about this I think digital coins will be the ones that will get ground in the next decade as a value of money for spending etc. You cannot expect the entire population to spend Bitcoin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: January 18, 2021, 11:53:32 AM
Of all cryptocurrencies, why doge? as a crypto enthusiast myself, I love sharing my experiences with Bitcoin and other cryptcies with my friends, I often get to start off my sharing with DOGECOIN rather than Bitcoin, why is it you say? Well since my friends (at least in my circle of friends) know a lot and love doge memes, I then start off the topic by talking about doge and how popular doge is, then I finally start to tackle about dogecoin being an actual digital currency (I decided to say digital currency so they'd have an idea instead of cryptocurrency) and after a short explanation they are then ought to believe with what I'm saying by showing that I am actually earning dogecoins, and after a few months, they've started planning to actually buy dogecoins and see for themselves, it's actually an easier way to make them benefit with cryptocurrency using other cryptocurrency rather than just by relying on Bitcoin.

Maybe your friends aren't tech needs and a big fan of memes .
Haha. Jokes aside whatever you want to use it as a metaphor to get people into crypto it's good for decentralization and also for them to know the technology.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: January 18, 2021, 11:51:34 AM
Of course, crypto is more valuable than gold.
Look at the price of bitcoin.
It is now 19000$. In 2008 it starts its journey. How much price pump do you think ever.
Look at gold.
It is not pump like bitcoin.
And also the demand of crypto is increasing day by day.
I don't think it is aa simple as comparing the performance of gold and bitcoin in the last 5 years . It may very well go on  to become more valuable but it certainly has a long way to go and a long time (centuries) to survive.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the best place to do Vechain staking? on: January 18, 2021, 11:49:42 AM
Hi all

I bought VET to keep it long term.

Is it better to do VET staking on binance or Exodus or VechainThor?

What is the difference between Staking and Saving?

thank you

You don't need to stake it anywhere specifically. You can just store your vechain in ledger and it will automatically generated vethor. In addition to it if you are one of the nodes you will get bonus vethor.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about altcoin season, on: January 16, 2021, 02:12:12 PM
This time around things are 💯 different, there is not ICO hype to hell altcoins surge insanely like they did in 2018 and even DeFi that might help have lost its hype, just imagine if DeFi is just making it's hype right now instead of mid 2020? Maybe through that all eye can be on altcoins or DeFi projects more than what we saw in 2020, here are few facts I know

1. Altcoin season might not help new projects at all, developers need to understand that it's now more about real use cases than profit making, bitcoin is been accumulated more because of its real potential

2. If new money don't flow into altcoins the ROI won't be much, so don't expect that 4000% profits you got in January 2018 unless something new happened that makes altcoins a target too, right now all bows goes to bitcoin

It might not be as crazy as the altcoin season of 2018 but still projects which are showing the promise and potential are increasing a lot . Promising projects will always find a way whatever the market conditions are .
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens? on: January 15, 2021, 06:47:38 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

To make it easy to understand it is risky to invest in anything.
There is always a possibility that the investment may go down or they maybe a global crisis like last year and you end up losing the money.

So it's a calculated gamble and you must adjust the tolerance level based on the amount of money you are willing to lose.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP - The 2nd Biggest Scam in Digital Currency History on: January 15, 2021, 06:44:46 AM
It goes a little bit over the top to call xrp as a scam Inna single word.
He they have done some bad practices but that is a nothing unseen. I am not supporting the bad practices in any way but you just can't simply call it a scan.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could ether hit 100k? on: January 15, 2021, 06:41:45 AM
Is it possible for ethereum to be worth 11 trillion in the future?

I think you are looking forward too much into the future maybe even 100 of years . Let's wait for btc to hit the mark first and get clarity on where we stand in reducing the gas prices.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tips to find new gem on: January 12, 2021, 07:45:03 AM
hey folks, i'm new in crypto and want learn more about this. As BTC has already pump a lot i'm trying to find a new gem with a low marketcap which can have a decent run in the following years. I can read sometimes some people picked some coins and did a lot of profit, and i was wondering how they can do to detect a coin with a lot of potentiel. I started to search but to be honest i don't know where to start. I was wondering if some people could share their experiences and how to be able to detect a coin Smiley

Your best bet is to follow the forums like these where there are discussions about projects and to follow social medias and promoter to see the projects and then go and dig deeper.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap discussion on: January 12, 2021, 07:09:59 AM
I see there is talk of turning 800 into 1 million dollars in uniswap..let's be realistic , while the story maybe true he must be either very good or incredibly lucky. Many have lost a lot of money on uniswap.
