42  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the Worst online Casino you've played on so far? on: May 18, 2024, 05:04:00 PM
I'm not sure if i can call them out by name because afaik 90% of casinos out there don't use their own gaming platforms but rely on third-party game providers to run their casinos, which technically makes them the same...

But there is one casino/sportsbook I have tried and not that their games are bad, but their marketing strategy is unacceptable...they run competitions in which players use their hard-earned money and when prizes are given out the player is again asked to deposit an equivalent amount of coins to the prize before claiming which puts these guys top of the list as my worst casino/bookie...and just to keep the spotlight off them I won't mention them unoftunately as this could hurt their business Tongue
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is it right to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2024, 02:46:29 PM
The opportunity to buy super cheap coins is long gone and we are never going back in time!!!

But that doesn't mean we can not invest in Bitcoin today, because as far as I know, we don't have the right or wrong time to invest in crypto...if resources allow you to invest today go ahead and buy some BTC, if resources to invest will be available 6months from now that can also work..the only important thing is the first step of jumping on the Bitcoin boat is done and the rest is history.

Btw, at this point we should be talking about buying strategies as this topic of when is the right time has been discussed several times and we must on the topic of diversifying our portfolios and the alike...
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jose Mourinho Next Job (Season 2024/2025) on: May 18, 2024, 09:51:40 AM
Any Saudi Pro League side would mean his going there for the money but honestly Jose Mourinho is a show guy and Saudi Arabia doesn't really have the media to cover his drama and all that unless his after a fat pay check!

As for Fenerbahce, I think this one fits the profile as they have some good quality players which means he doesn't need to start from the ground up which is a good destination for the Portuguese, though he should some interest in Manchester who seem to be shaky of late I think going back to manage the Red devils wouldn't be a bad idea .

I'm waiting for Real Madrid to announce the date of Mbappé's debut at the Santiago Bernabeu. Looking at the long-term love story with Kylian Mbappé, we can see how classy Real Madrid is. Even though Mbappé is the brightest talent in the world today, Real Madrid does not recruit the French striker at any cost. As time passed, with the successes "without Mbappé", Real Madrid showed that it was  Mbappé who had to find a way to play for Real Madrid. And as I know, Mbappé even accepted to reduce his salary compared to when he was at PSG. This is considered Real Madrid's cheapest deal.
PSG didn't play their cards right if you ask me, how do you let go off such a big talent for free after the huge wages paid over the years only for him to walkout as a free agent Huh For all I care PSG fans should followup this with the guys calling the shots at the club as it doesn't add up!!

Otherwise this Mbappé move should breathe new life into Real Madrid and that combination with Vini , Bellingham and everyone will be exciting to watch and can't wait...

As of the cheapest deal, well let's just say PSG as a club lost out but Mbappe as a player might have gotten a lucrative deal because no other third parties involved

48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as job salary - Yay or Nay? on: May 17, 2024, 04:44:44 PM
Let's say you have a job that gives you the option to have your salary paid in BTC, ETC, or any other cryptocurrency, would you prefer that or would you rather still be paid in fiat? If you'd prefer crypto payment, which currency would you choose and why?
Here is the thing, getting paid in either fiat or crypto makes no difference as both hold value and in addition to this we several platforms out there that facilitate this exchange with ease, unless it's a hassle then stick to fiat...

Btw, for my preference I would opt for crypto payments as am using more crypto services today than ever before  and crypto does give some gains which I  won't miss out on and can pay less fees than using a bank card or similar.

Leeds won as expected, now only Southampton must win and I feel confident that they will win😁 Good luck mate😁
Wow that was a statement by Leeds and I didn't like a single bit of it....27minutes later I check on the results it's already 2nil and football being football I thought one goal can change everything and before half time it's 3nil and to be honest my chances of progressing is shaken but hope is not lost , btw I think Southampton will be the casualty today as football is full of surprises, fingers crossed we qualify today!!!
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip on: May 17, 2024, 04:44:59 AM
You don't need to consult or listen to analysis from any analyst, bitcoin's price increase is inevitable and will definitely happen, the only problem is time. That's why people often advise each other not to pay too much attention to the short-term volatility of bitcoin, look at the long term and bitcoin will never disappoint us.
I have not heard this in a long time and like the advice Smiley
It's funny how all these guys have appointed themselves experts of Bitcoin but where nowhere to be seen when price was worthless and few believed in crypto...but today have become the loudest!!

Btw, I do agree we don't need the so called consultants because we already know that Bitcoin supply is in a limited supply and price is going in one direction..which is UP.

If I win question 5 then I will go on to round 3 and Then my next opponent is Dittoup. I will already lead 1-0 since Tommy paul won today.. But since he has Chelsea and i have Newcastle, it will probably be 1-1 so everything will be decided in the boxing match. But first Leeds and Southampton have to win befor i can think of round 3😂
At this point I feel like your game is as good as PSG, league duty performing with high flying colours but when it comes to champion's league football it's a whole different ball game and hoping this is not your fate mate Tongue

Oh and you forgot to mention that should you lose in game 5, it's back to the Farmers league 😂 Grin and I get to join the  big boys league Grin

All the best buddy, watch me win!

59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Naturally Chase loses in gambling.. on: May 16, 2024, 01:04:03 PM
Hi everyone,
Here actually is my finding on why people chase loses in gambling, do you know that it's natural for a gambler to chase after his or her loses? Well, if you don't know, now you know, it is natural in the sense that ; the desire is inbuilt, it is we ourselves that learn to put or subject the desire to our control, same way it is natural to feel bad when you lose a bet, but you can be happy if you choose to, and can control your emotion.
Natural indeed, I actually think this mentality start's from the biology of human life which is hardwired in our heads..but on the part of emotions I really can't tell because we have people that don't have them Tongue but am sure self control can be taught.

One of the reason why many gamblers naturally chase after their lose is due to one thing that is built into every game known as the "near miss effect", after every loss, a near miss effect makes our brain believe that a win is very close
If this was something to do with casino games, this strategy actually works but when it comes to sports gambling unfortunately your winning chances increase with single bets unlike accumulators.

So, from your own understanding, what do you think makes people chase loses aside greed which I believe many of us are already familier with?.
Something I have learnt from trading is that, losing is part of the game and accepting this truth has elevated my winning position and for this I believe chasing loses comes from not accepting that you can't win everyday...we have good days and bad days , the earlier we understand this the better we protect our money.

Damn Newcastle!! 😂😁 But luckily Juventus did won😁  Now question 5 is decided this will be exciting! Come on Leeds and Southampton!!😁
You know that had I gone with a Juventus win you would have been packing by now as the race to 3 was in my favour, but either way am serving you some humble pie for the last question as this chapter needs to be closed as I look forward to what the next round has for me..

Btw, last night United played some aggressive football which I enjoyed  Smiley but am wondering why they are always conceding in the last part of the game which gave me a scare of a possible draw.. perphaps players get too excited and lose focus, whatever their reasons job well done United,  you just got me closer to my qualification Grin

I just realized that the rival who eliminated me in the previous round didnt show up, why didn't you do that against me haha, I would have liked to face Hhampuz

Someone talking big talk here, team Mafia make this happen  Tongue
