Not sure how much those figures of 6400 & 2250 are in dollars but I think if you have other members in that home that do watch one or two programs on these TV stations it would be unfair to cut them off for an investment that will not be paying back anytime soon, if you can compromise for a cheaper package to free up so money I think that's a better option, better yet if you can get a good unlimited internet plan in your country am pretty sure you can find most of these programs online...which should allow you surf the web, keep in touch with the BCT forum and enjoy your favourite TV programs, hope this helps good luck. for the sake of the kids so they can watch their favorite cartoon and I get to save 4150 amount into Bitcoin. What do you all think about this idea?
For the kids sake, Try compare IPTV package pricing against GOTV, DSTV and see if there is a huge saving that comes with going with the first option.. Better yet, doesn't this DStv package have an online platform that your can share with family and friends to cut on costs by splitting the bill or something so that you only pay a fraction of full cost to even save more...

Are cashouts even possible with boxing considering scorecards are not usually shown in real time anyway once the game is on you better pick the right guy to win as you await for the results to come at the end. Btw, if I picked the underdog and that cashout offer comes and it's with some profit ..am taking it first time no doubt but if it's the favourite most likely will let it play out as cashout offers are never attractive... assuming you risk your money to an underdog Prograis 3.75 vs Devin 1.22 and then Prograis luckily landed a snap punch resulting in a flash knockdown in the 1st round and the referee counts to 8. of course, you will be seeing the cashout option makes you win probably more than 30%
First round topped off with a lucky shot and favourite is down for that long am definitely getting my money and running!!! Afaik I have seen players hunt for such markets just to catch the cashout because they know the second game turns to a 50/50 match then odds favour the underdog.

Talking about health related issues is very welcome, as it boarders around general welbeing of users and mental health that can affect gamblers or traders after a lossing run or anything in those lines... But this being a Bitcoin or cryptocurrency forum might make this an off topic discusion as far as am concerned , and secondly I assume we dont have experts in this field of health to moderate against speculations, falsehoods and the alike. All in all issues of health should be left for health experts to handle away from the forum as this isnt a heath based platform, no hard feelings just my 2cents. Besides, the very same process new localboards get to be created if they have the numbers, do we have more people talking about health related issues on the forum.. I highly doubt it

As much as we want to paint a perfect picture about Bitcoin, unfortunately it's far from it!
Bitcoin might be better than fiat/banks in certain areas but it has its flaws which could be the reason why big financial institutions aren't jumping on board yet. Yes we might talk of financial freedom, cutting off middle men and the like but that volatility character BTC has doesn't give investors financial protection of their assets as value of the coin can easily evaporate in thin air without any explanation.
And as much as we want BTC to be part of the future, we need Big money to be pumped in and this can only happen with the help of regulation which is topic that has received mixed feelings...
Otherwise both fiat/Banks and BTC have their strengths and weakness and should be used as compliments to each other to get the best from both worlds.

Hey there, nope - goodpunt's the winner. Although your answer to the 1st question is marked green, it is because it is marked against your direct opponent. For the freebets you have points for questions 2, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. Goodpunt's got points for questions 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 10. Considering that he submitted before, he gets the freebet. So all freebet winners "usually" have the best score or highest score in their division but unlucky me with the best score in our division failed to catch this one, ouch this hits different when you had the best score in this GW And honestly didn't understand the calculations especially when these are H2H questions ... Anyway better luck next time Woodie, rest my case

Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great. I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings). I totally support your sentiments towards this topic, but unfortunately these gambling house's have become so aggressive in their advertising such that whenever you watching a game of sport their advertisements run everywhere, and you go out there branded cars and some branded public transport do carry these and am affraid this upcoming generation will always have the desire to gamble for this very reason. If anything there advertisements are worse off than drugs ( cigarette/ alcohol) ad's and it's up to the guardians and parents to try to correct this. I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.
And these kids will sometimes pretend not to be hearing or watching what you do not until an opportunity presents itself and then you get a shock of your life that they too know how to play.

Being in the crypto industry for some time, whenever you see commission rates above 4-5% then automatically you know these rates are for Altcoins , but considering these rates are for a reputable coin and among the most sort afterq alts this is actually a good deal not to miss especially that these guys have an above average reputation.
If you have funds lying around or being kept in a bank not gaining interest this is not a bad idea to consider for some extra $$$ on autopilot.

Getting a mortgage in a country that is more likely to get into conflicts means interest rates are high as the bank or whoever is financing has to take the risk involved and depending on what terms and conditions one signs up for, I want to believe that these loans can follow you if system doesn't break. But should the war tear through peoples livelihoods... I think these might be written off as bad debts unless they can find the people they gave the money... otherwise high rates should compensate for the uncertainties that are to come. Not really though, in most of cases the asset is under mortgage and will be insured by the lender so they can claim for the loss if needed and it really depends on what you are agreed when signing the contract.
Forgot about insurance, but it means the lender pays high premiums for them to claim on such, but what's the possibility that they would not pay for damage caused by war like they don't for the so called "act of God "

You might want to start with your bank to see if they can dig up all transactions that happened on your account in 2011..which might attract a fee with some banks if this is possible , btw if you account has internet banking access have you tried to check for these records which should be a free service afaik ??
If step 1 is a success, hope this platform you used to buy your Bitcoins is still in existence because some platforms have shutdown in the last 10+ yeas like the likes of localbitcoins etc. Just hope this won't be a deadened after all the effort being put..

Fast forward to this bear market, many people really believe that we haven't seen the bottom yet, and some believe that the next black swan event will bring the last bottom for Bitcoin, I do have some questions about all this. Tbh this bottom everyone keeps talking about is to generalized!! If people missed the price of the 100s which was a real discounted price then let's forget about it coming this low as many users are more than ready to buy should it go lower than expected which will push it back up.. So whatever bottom we are anticipating Is what we seeing now. 1. In the past Bitcoin bear market, how many black swan event happened at the time? If we are going to add big exchange hacks to be black swan events then we could consider Mtgox and Ftx hack to be such events... 2. I did my own research and black swan event started in 2020 and it's also in the chart history, I could be wrong but correct me if I am, but the black swan event happens cos of COVID in 2020, what makes you believe that another will happen? In some circles the categorise the COVID19 pandemic to be both a white and black swan event because it would have being contained in China had they blown the whistle early but they kept about it until it spread like wildfire then the world was made aware of this way to late which caused unforeseeable damage. 3. What if the Black Swan event of this present bear market was the FTX Collapse?
I don't know, regulators would have picked on Sam's fraudulent activities especially that financial crimes all happen in the past and not present for them to be detected ...and him not being a well experienced CEO in the crypto circles it was expected that he would f@#& up which imo makes this a White Swan event.

With a few breadcrumbs or portions of the seed phrase it's very much possible if the right pool of words is used...but the chances of success are very slim especially that process takes up a lot of time to crack this 2²⁵⁶.
Otherwise the chances of success is if a hacker uses Keyloggers to get our seedphrase unlike brute force.

In the last couple of years, Bitcoin seems to have lost its character of volatility it was known for , making it more like a stable coin...
and if we look at the charts it shows up like a ranging coin at the moment which tells me that if you a investing in Bitcoin as a hodler it's much more difficult to double your investment than trading it the leveraged way which rewards you for small moves than waiting for a new ATH before you see the double.

The crypto market has an high level of volatility, anyone who is about to make an investment need to have a good understanding of the volatile market. The crypto market is one huge market with everything ...If you are worried about volatility, the crypto market has stable coins which give you the benefit to enjoy coins on the basis of what you see is what you get, let volatility not hinder from enjoying your crypto journey Now the question is even with the volatility will you still choose crypto over fiat when it comes to making investments?
I think what determines what choice you go for is what currency the platform takes when paying for the asset, besides what seperates these two is usually KYC, with crypto platforms you are likely not going to go through the KYC process like you would with fiat platforms as paying with bank cards need the proof that you are the owner of the cards and not using stolen cards...hence if a platform has both options would rather go for crypto which will require less questions, paper work etcetera

Not sure what words to use here...but happy belated birthday to you... And happy 10th anniversary to you @hZti , 10 years is a long time and you have stuck around & certainly still going to, if we can do 10years let's chase another 10 to inspire those that jumped on to the forum for the first time to show them that Bitcointalk is a lifestyle. Btw looking at the age you joined the forum, does this mean the age range here could be between 15years to 60years

Note: Start expecting retracement but watch for the signal first. You should not stay in a trade for a longer period as the market may be inconsistent.
This sounds like information coming from a currency trader as this is what's expected to happen as the big banks windup for the holidays.. And just so you know markets don't always have to retrace and it takes the right sentiment to push price up and crypto being speculative doesn't usually follow currency behaviour. 2) You will start experiencing noise expecially for hourly time frames i.e There will be much volatility upward and downward at the same time. What I am saying is that you may experience a 100% movement upward and 100% movement downward same day.
I don't buy this noise business you talk of on the hourly... anybody that trades on this timeframe will agree that timeframes starting from the 15 minutes and above usually filters out noise and people that trade these higher timeframes like the hourly are actually swing traders and not intraday or scalpers who want to be in and out of the markets as soon as possible..unless you meant a much lower timeframe than what's written
