I have recieved my reward via th BTC segwit wallet submitted and I checked the transaction details and saw that it was deposited within the 24 hour window as stated by the campaign manager.
Just realised Jack didn't change address after the request I made to them and sent to other address, but thanks for pointing that out.

Bayern's loss against Eintracht Frankfurt was shocking. Seeing Bayern, a consistent and dominant squad, lose 5-1 was shocking. It's like seeing a squad become invincible, then get crushed. Still, I feel schadenfreude. It shows that even the best may fail.
Which makes me think Manchester United stands a chance to crush Bayern and then their qualification chances will rely on that Galatasaray match ending in a draw which I not happening as this game promises goals!

They'll face M.United next, and boy will they be treated. After a humbling setback, Bayern should come out strong. With M.United's weak performance against Bournemouth, I don't expect an upset.
Bayern has nothing to play for other than pride or revenge on  past games but I see this as an opportunity for them to play young stars to get that champions league experience under their belts which United will exploit....but unfortunately this game could turn out to be a nightmare for Utd as Bayern has the fire power to win this game if they choose too, but this is an opportunity to rest it's players for next Bundesliga fixtures.

The Premier League, oh my ....

So Manchester United after playing full of heart against a tougher opponent in Chelsea got a win here, and as fans expected the momentum to continue when facing Bournemouth...but guess what the team was beat hands down right in their own backyard at old Trafford and am wondering what went wrong  Roll Eyes If this continues am affraid that Erik Ten Hag won't last and poor results calls for the manager to take responsibility!!!

Else where , Aston Villa continue to terrorize the so called big guns, first the managed to bring down Manchester City and today they are having Arsenal for dinner and if they continue to perform like this a top four finish is definitely on the cards Cool

Before matchday 6 starts, I wanted to ask if matchday 5 results are fully updated as I noticed my points haven't improved in spite of picking a winner with Atletico Madrid  Roll Eyes

Road to zero is too clear...

It was updated 10 minutes after the final game called for Full Time.

Your submission was actually incomplete, you didn't mark "Stake" on your selections as the instructions say to. I actually spend time every week fixing these errors (and I bring them up often enough), they're not too many and I feel it's fair to give people a chance. But I really hope that after 5 rounds you guys get the hang of simple instructions Wink

In future, I might just ignore incomplete submissions until the user notices. Your total should now reflect your correct pick. Have mercy on me and be more careful next time?
Nah not me!!!!

If I didn't mark stake as you put it, I don't think those numbers on the spreadsheet for Newcastle to beat PSG & Atletico to win would show the stake I put on those two games for, unless there is a different process am unaware of, hope its not some mistaken identity here as everything is/was good on my side, a second look wouldn't be a bad idea  💡 no offence Huh

Btw, by all means, please punish anybody not playing by the rules with the incomplete submissions otherwise everything was submitted as guided by demo before the start of competition and I don't think submitting an entry can be difficult..

Btw the Atletico game did have the stake marked Roll Eyes Anyway I understand the process now...

EDit:

Thanks my totals have been updated  Roll Eyes Lips sealed

Everyone remember to tick stake before picking your games then stake your game week points  Grin

666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: December 08, 2023, 06:07:52 PM
Gambling is known to be a game of pure luck but also probability, that's if you are good at math, this is what a fellow employee said to me, he then told me to look Chris Ferguson up, to my surprise this man won millions in gambling using math, I read this man is really good at math,
Jesus....
Computer science,PHD what do we expect..the man knows his math and Am officially a fan of this guy but his reputation is dented with those Ponzi scheme allegations of swindling other poker players Roll Eyes!!

I think it's safe to say everything we do has math in it and the fact that pro gamblers use it shows the numbers do stack up in their favour and by the way, whatever strategy these guys use is pretty much dressed as math in disguise and not luck, luck is for armatures  Tongue

School is not important as 96% of what you learn won't be used in the real world to make money, but this 4% left is making a lot of people rich, math and gambling seems to go with each other, what do you guys think? Am I wrong or right?
Totally agree, very few of us know how to crunch up the numbers to use math to our advantage as we have been made to rely on luck which isn't the case, let's learn the art of making our own luck and this comes as a result of math a reason why strategies such as arbitrage are successful is because the math works  Cool
667  Other / Meta / Re: (Any Guesses?) Are there many real (unpaid) people still posting here at BCT? on: December 08, 2023, 04:09:01 PM
It is called Bitcointalk (BTT), not BCT.

First, let me correct you, it's either you call it Bitcointalk or BTT, not BCT.

Sorry for going off topic, but there are things I just can't let go Smiley.
No, no, no fucking no. Don't spread nonsense. There's no logic saying BTT.

Let's break down bitcointalk :
Bitcoin Talk
Bit Coin Talk
You can't write Bi Tcoin Talk ?? What does Tcoin mean ?

Do you say MS or MO for Microsoft ?
Do you say VW or VK for Volkswagen ?

And it's already been discussed in the past, the result is indisputable : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5121806.0
Thought was the only one that felt the need to call it as it is...BCT  Cool

And in case anybody is doubting this correction, the trick is in the syllables which justifies the shorthand for BitCointalk as it has three syllables in total, thanks for pointing this out again Cool.

Coming back to the topic, I actually see several users that do this, for example some notable names that can easily monetize their presence on the forum :
  • Powerglove
  • franky1
  • Several mods/admins
  • ibminer
And my observation is that such users are usually found in the Mining, Development & Technical Discussion board and Serious discussion board  Cool

669  Economy / Economics / Re: World is full of things what nobody dont need just too much on: December 08, 2023, 07:41:07 AM
This is a biased statement, I really don't believe there is this so called people having too much of what they don't need when in the first place are the very people putting in the work to get what they want and probably these items accumulated over the years and not in a blink of an eye!
Besides things like closes, electronics etc are usually given out free of charge but the people receiving this end up selling this and the cycle goes on and on and who do you blame for losing interest to give out the extras Huh

It's honestly not fair to judge others when they too have made an effort to give the extras to someone they thought needed the items the most but the enduser monetized this  venture

671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 07, 2023, 09:48:46 PM
Seeing some of the games leading to the final group games,I think clubs such as Newcastle will be sent packing because they haven't been putting up a convincing performance lately!
If we look back at Newcastles win against United they did not impress in that game inspite of the win ,and today they got beat by an Everton team that I consider to be struggling for form ,and with another EPL game to go before champions league football this team will be fatigued and they will have that as an excuse for their early exit, otherwise Newcastle are gone for me!

Manchester United, Galatasaray and Copenhagen will fight to win in the final match of the group stage. One of the three teams will qualify for the round of 16 and one of them will go to the Europa League. Manchester United has a good chance of winning the match against Bayern Munich, but whether they qualify or not really depends on the Galatasaray and Copenhagen matches.
Let's not complicate this one, that Galatasaray and Copenhagen match will be the decider and this match will have goals and won't end in a draw either...
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will invest the money to buy the land in Bitcoin. on: December 07, 2023, 07:13:28 PM
I am a government servant, working in regional land office.  At the end of five years of my working life, I have spent part of the salary I received during these five years for family and saved part for future. I have been saving my money in the bank for more than five years for the purpose of saving for the future and purchasing a land. If I were to mention the amount of money I saved in five years, it would be about 11 thousand dollars if converted to US dollars.
Don't you think you approached this wrongly especially knowing very well that land never depreciates no matter which part of the world...unless it's a war zone! Probably you have your reasons for not doing so earlier, maybe because of other commitments....

But on a serious note, since we can't cry over spelled milk this is your next opportunity to buy that land and get something to your name.. and don't miss this discount as the next 5years price will skyrocket as demand is high for real estate projects coming up every day.

My plan was to buy a land with this amount of money but whenever looking for land to buy land my idea completely changes because the lands I like will not give me this amount of money. If I can't buy land in a position, I have no desire to buy land in a common place.
That's what they mean when they say money changes people, you have the money for X but now you want Y or Z..it's a normal thing  Grin Cool

Since I have like 11 thousand dollars right now, I want to invest this amount in Bitcoin instead of keeping it in the bank.
Instead of throwing everything at Bitcoin from your savings, use a small percentage of your salary to buy Bitcoin every month and before you know it your crypto investment will be healthy in a few years from now Wink
673  Economy / Services / Re: 🚧[CFNP] [banned mixer] | Bitcoin Mixer | Signature Campaign ~ Up to $130/week on: December 07, 2023, 04:34:46 AM
That's currently being discussed. The Coinomize team is open to promote their platform on other crypto-related forums. The top two choices are Bitcoingarden and Altcointalks. Might be best to create an account on those aforementioned forums (I already have mine since 2018).  Cheesy
However, again, this is still in discussion; I'll let you guys know what the Coinomize team has decided.
In fact, I have a Bitcoin Garden account starting in 2016 and Altcointalks starting in 2017.
But there is little interaction.  But we can only wait for their policy,
or for there to be a platform other than these 2 alternative forums.
True Bitcoiners  Cool and if this transfer happens traffic could be redirected to these places and awaken these forums Roll Eyes

But unfortunately, new members won't be able to signup on BitcoinGarden which looks sig ready too as I see julerz12 already wearing a colorful Coinomize signature Cool
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 06, 2023, 09:03:19 PM
So United has rumours of some players being unruly and Erik ten Hag chooses to drop the likes of Martial and Rashford to the bench and suddenly United is playing full of confidence which tells a story here and hope am not being speculative here  Roll Eyes!

Btw, With Chelsea being in far better form I honestly didn't expect the Reds devils to be the better team here despite of the scoreline(1-1) but I feel United should take this one with the 12th player on their side and being on their home turf..let's go United!

Elsewhere, Aston Villa giving Manchester City a hard lesson and with the form they are in they could get away with a win here...

As it stands Aston Villa 1-0 Man City HT

Match still 0-0 between Aston Villa and Manchester City
675  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 06, 2023, 05:16:30 PM
btw. I haven't recognized the reason why Sinbad was immediately archived, while some previously seized/closed are still open. Like Blender, Chipmixer, Whirlwind... What's the difference here?
Sinbad had 50% funds from criminals.

Whoever used that service or even worse advertised/promoted it (to gain monetary profit) aided criminals.
examplens has a valid argument here, seized/closed mi*ers need to go through the same same path as others as law enforcement was involved and a reason for Sinbad content  being archived here!

By the way It's not about the percentage of funds being deemed dirty why Sin was hit the hardest, just so you know exchanges, casino's & other platforms do get this dirty money too a reason why some users funds get frozen when this information reaches them...
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: help me not to leave btc on: December 06, 2023, 01:30:23 PM
I'm a 19-year-old boy living in South Korea and now btt, doge, shiba inu, etc.. have skyrocketed in just a few hours on our country exchange 'upbit'. A little fomo is coming. I can't believe it's gone up more than a months I've invested in bitcoin. I personally don't want to invest in other coins, as I think bitcoin is superior.
Everyone is entitled to what works best for them and here I see you have picked Bitcoin which isn't a bad choice considering its the king of crypto , though it wouldn't be a bad idea to try other coins too as ROI is usually greater than that of BTC but requires finding the hidden gem in Altcoins.

What kind of mindset should I have to stay in Bitcoin?
If you want to invest and stay in Bitcoin for a long-term then avoid looking at chart's at any given opportunity as you could prematurely sell because of fear of a crash and price might lose momentum somewhere along the way which wouldn't help in your bitcoin journey.

And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?
Not sure if you have something to do that brings in money, if you do you need to be committing a small percentage of your money towards your DCA investment which won't be easy be will reward you in the future for the commitment.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: December 06, 2023, 08:50:26 AM
Season 3 - CURRENTLY RUNNING
...
  • 4 players will be promoted from Division 3 to Division 2. Division 3A winner and Division 3B winner will be promoted directly, and players placed on positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 from both Division 3’s will enter a cup-style playoff format.
  • Out of these 8 players, only 1 will secure direct promotion. The loser of the final game of this promotion bracket will have 1 more chance though – he’ll play the 13th team from Division 2 for a spot in Division 2 next season.

We're glad to hear you're having fun, your Division is a bit weird this season but offers a good chance of qualification to the higher one.
Totally agree, our division this season is weird probably because of the poor attendance of players...

And you saying Dv3 players have a Good chance of qualification  Roll Eyes I don't think so!

If you aren't the winner of the division here, then chances of promotion drop instantly especially that we have to battle it out in the cup-style playoff which looks like some competitive users will be featuring  and not forgetting the last battle with the Dv2 player Tongue

Is it just me or it was much easier to be promoted in the earlier editions of the competition???

679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst slot provider ever? on: December 05, 2023, 12:20:52 PM
Am not a slots kinda of person but after learning about volatility and Return to Player I honestly think it's about choosing the right slot and having an adequate balance to play with... the problem I find with most players is they want to hit big winners in a few rolls which doesn't work..slots are about the long game regardless of how much you wager!!!

So saying there is a good or bad provider doesn't make a valid case, get your playing strategy right and see yourself winning more  Cool
