561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shuffle.com ⚽ 🏈 Sports Betting Contest Discussion | Round 1 live on: December 31, 2023, 03:25:08 PM
Rumour has it that the next contest could be an accumulator battle and just incase this happens we might not have the time to ask some of these questions and here is mine....

When it comes to duplicate bets, is it going to be possible to place a bet in the form of (A, X¹) and (C,X²) X representing a game with different markets that a player gets say Full time winner and other market being a handicap bet..will this count as a duplicate bet or both stand as a valid bet towards multi bet battle?

Otherwise whichever comes our way, am game to play either single bets contest or an accumulator battle Cool

565  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 30, 2023, 07:11:55 PM
~snip~

There are a lot of experienced gamblers on this forum, so I decided to ask you what you would like to see in casino reviews.

I would be grateful if you could share your thoughts on this and answer these questions:

1. Do you read casino reviews?
Definitely read reviews as they help with me making a decision if I play with that casino/sportsbook and ensure not to be caught unaware for something a player has gone through...

2. Do you find any casino reviews useful? If so, please share some examples of good casino reviews that you find useful.
Very useful, and for examples these are embedded in announcement threads of some casino sites here on the forum and they carry some weight...

3. What should a casino review contain to make you read it?
Photo's to show proof of deposits, game history , withdraw s and a few words on the whole gaming experience Smiley

4. I've already tried to write reviews that I find useful.  If you have the opportunity, please share your thoughts on them: WolfBet Review and LTC Casino Review
Seeing this site is similar to your username here on bitcointalk , this makes me think you trying to drive traffic over there..will take a look anyway to see your version of a review Roll Eyes

567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: December 30, 2023, 05:31:12 PM
Haaland staying out of action for the time being seems to have freed up resources for my team who should be back after the international break there about, and my alternative striker being Alvarez seems to be paying off at the moment and can't really complain and am impressed with this lads point retention , wish I knew about him earlier  #GG_Alvarez Tongue Cool

Why doesn't Watkins take the pens for villa? Sad

Because Watkins misses his pens half the time, you literally do not want him to take pens for this reason because you will actually lose points from that. Whereas Douglas Luiz has a near perfect conversion rate.
Villa team of the moment Smiley

Otherwise with the assists and goals to his name, isn't this enough to give Watkins the confidence to take the penalties like any other good striker out there Huh I bet those misses have left him traumatised not to try them anytime soon Roll Eyes
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 30, 2023, 02:58:55 PM
Luton is definitely one stuff nut to crack, anf despite them losing to Chelsea today... it's quite interesting to see how they always find a way to get a goal in almost every game and think they need to find a way to defend better and increase their attack intensity to start getting the needed results.

Final score: Luton Town 2-3 Chelsea

Up next, time for Manchester City to catch up with Arsenal after they win against Sheffield United who they have never lost against, and this result should bring them the needed points to get closer to the top and try defend their title...

Fyi, Kevin De Bruyne  is back and this should help bring the teams attacking mentality back in full force...

My prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Sheffield United
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: December 30, 2023, 12:25:17 PM
Its a very simple reason why this notion of the Rich win more at gambling than the poor...look at it this way, the rich don't have greed in them and know when to walk away whenever they win or lose, and btw he/she could start with a bankroll of $20k and make $1000 profit and call it a day because  they know the value of time and money , but the rest of us want to flip $100 into $1000 by sitting behind a screen all day which is a recipe for disaster when you playing for long hours and hence why the Rich stay rich...

Anyone know where the provably fair implimentation is posted for the $3.3m race multipliers?

I can't seem to find any details other than in the "how it works" modal, which includes:

Quote
Each revealed multiplier is completed in a transparent and provably fair way. This means it's completely random for each account!

-snip-
Woohoo 3mili..that's one healthy pot right here, and wasnt aware of this promotion had you not been inquiring on the implementation and stuff, thanks 👍 for the share Smiley will be looking into this just now  Cool

Rollbit comes bearing gifts, please play nice Mr Santa 🎅 🎄 as I try my luck here..

Anyway I got a tips for you if you frequently do live betting on Rollbit. There is a feature there called quick bet. You know normally on live betting, the odds could drop or increase depending on the game on real time so on most sites they will ask you to reconfirm the odds in case if your bets are affected while it was being confirmed. Quick bet on Rollbit will accept whatever odds with a single click, $10 minimum bet

I personally love this though
From experience with other bookies..this reconfirm bet is very annoying and could get you missing out on healthy odds with the length processing time of the bet, great job Rollbit Wink

Wish this was possible with accumulators Roll Eyes

572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 10:27:11 PM
Every story you tell someone can either be a motivation or something to get them depressed. I have been thinking about this and I'd like to pass this advice to every serious gambler in this platform who has won a substantial amount of money from gambling, not to share their success story about winning to everyone and in every place.
That's one way of looking at it and I agree with you, but unfortunately you can't seperate information on who it gets to or not because this is a public place without any sort of filters , and besides like they say one man's poison is another man's medicine...

Btw, with how the forum is setup with signature campaigns and the alike when it comes to marketing, showing winnings is part of growing a companies userbase..which says it's a game of numbers which needs to be done.

You do not know the story of every gambler, and on the face some gamblers may just look alright but in deep down they are in debt, some depressed due to addiction to gambling that is destroying them and has made them plan to quit. Your success story when shared indiscriminately may trigger and motivate this addicted gambler battling to stop to want to keep gambling, having the believe that their time is close. Be careful who and where you talk about your success in gambling, you may just be encouraging an addicted gambler to continue.
What you said is sadly true, but this also says the gambler has no self-control and are not capable of making the right decisions... and fyi gambling is an adult activity and as an adult you need to own up on the decisions you make and not the next guy taking responsibility for your actions, everyone has free will....
573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: December 29, 2023, 07:51:25 PM
Now my question is futures trade is actually gambling? Or how did he lose all his dollars?
Trading is trading. Future trading is future trading.

Gambling is gambling.

The question is: Is future trading risky as gambling? Yes. The higher the leverage the higher the risks.
Literally calling a spade a spade ,love it!!

Though it gets me worried whenever we have people call trading gambling... whether futures trading, options trading, perpetual trading whatever it is it's all about having the skill in this art that one needs to succeed, otherwise if a person lacks the patience and emotional control that you just want to guess on whether to short or long the markets then it's called gambling, no two ways about it.

Let's practice more and fine tune our strategies for us to better our chances of success when it comes to trading  Cool
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 29, 2023, 07:07:10 PM
Gambling is for fun, and actually, if someone wants to have fun gambling, there is no way they can spend six hours gambling or even spend the rest of their day gambling.
It's actually very much possible as I have seen people grinding with big amounts for small bets, and besides it's not like you gambling continuously...no you only place bets when you see the right pattern then jump on it and hope for the best...I know this doesn't sound practical but people do gamble this way!

In my opinion,  the more time one decides to spend on gambling, the more money they lose. For example, if I spend like one hour gambling and another gambler spends like six hours gambling, which one of us do you think will spend more money?
We all have our lucky days and times which can't be replicated to others in that instance..

So the question again is: how many hours do you gamblers think are more appropriate to spend while gambling?
This has never struck my mind to gamble based on time, but being more on the sports side , weekends are expected to be busy days and I only wager bets when I can read the game otherwise I just watch and have a good time with family and friends...

577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 28, 2023, 09:50:38 PM

If there is something I expected from this fixture between Brighton & Spurs are goals because its goals galore when the festive season is here and both teams have been playful of late and fortunately both teams delivered in a 6 goal thriller..

Btw I didn't think Brighton had it in them to beat Tottenham especially since their form is inconsistent of late and credit to the bookies for leaning towards the Seagulls to be favourites.. which is well deserved!
------------------------------

Elsewhere, Arsenal has been stunned by the harmers in a match we all thought they would try to get a result in their favor to claim the top spot. but now they have just opened doors for Manchester City who will not fumble this mission with their game in hand and once they win it will be joint 2nd with the gunners and an open invitation to go top has presented itself... Pep don't fail us, the Elephant has to fall Tongue
578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone can succeed as a bitcoin trader on: December 28, 2023, 11:34:18 AM
Many persons have shared their bad experiences about trading in general, how they lost their funds, got into debt, even wrecked their finances. That's true trading bears such risk but that should not stop you from trying. In as much as there are successful traders you too can be successful in trading.
Failure is the stepping stone to success, but unfortunately when it comes to trading many users out there actually gamble their trades as they want to become overnight millionaires which isn't possible!

Besides to succeed in this industry calls for one having an edge in the markets which is having a working strategy that you have tested to be profitable.

Knowing how to trade would only get you that far, but not j to the realm of successful traders. It takes a whole lot of desire to win, persistence and consistency to be a successful trader. So I assure that anyone who wants to be a successful trader can be by pursuing with passion.
Knowing how to trade is one thing but managing your emotions is another which many trades fail to do because of greed.

Also Statistics shows that we have more Bitcoin traders than investors. And this is because most persons prefer to take the short term benefit of trading the volatility of bitcoin.
Is this not obvious that it has to do with the financial muscle  Roll Eyes investors already have the money while traders are out there to make money...??
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 27, 2023, 09:49:45 PM
Santa 🎅🎄 comes bearing gifts in the premier League this festive season, and I think we have seen more goals than any other gameweek during this period, good stuff boys let's keep the show going...

Currently watching the Everton - Manchester City game, honestly I didn't expect Everton to get a goal but they did anyway and without Haaland.. the Citizens seem to have slowed down a bit in the goal scoring department but either way great to see them in front again after chasing the game.

Multiple mistakes in the defense led to Everton's goal but Manchester City managed to make a comeback. Manchester City conceded a goal in last 8 league matches, their defense is still alarming. The last time they finished a clean sheet was against Manchester United in October. I don't know exactly what is the cause of this problem.
Holiday hangover maybe  Roll Eyes

Btw around this time you spoke of ,they had to adjust with the introduction of new players as key players such as Kevin De Bruyne, Grealish (now back with the team) and now Haaland missing... adjustments had to be made which is a work in progress but they should still get the job done  Cool
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are there any bitcoin faucets nowadays !! on: December 27, 2023, 06:59:18 PM
seems the gold days are gone  Roll Eyes

are there still any bitcoin faucet today ??
i have tried many but all have withdrawal limit that you know you can't reach
The "gold" days indeed..and remember doing these rotators and all facets all day when Bitcoin was still discounted, what a happy memory this was  Cheesy

Unfortunately with Bitcoin price up at the moment, I don't think we have any platforms out there to load up coins to give out freely especially that there could be a threat of being hacked and ransacked , though one name that still comes up in this niche is Freebitco one of the oldest faucets around... otherwise it's a waste of time doing this these days, just my opinion..
