481  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 18, 2024, 08:34:05 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group. In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs?

Title seems to contradict what is being said here as I thought you will be asking how these guys market their products and services.l to be noticed..

Anyway, when it comes to marketing gambling  stuff ...it's usually generalized but of course this is intended for adults (18+) like any other casino to be legally accepted especially that most crypto casinos today are now  regulated.
Btw, when it comes to gambling I dont think nerd's are interested in gambling as they are likely to be playing games, coding or whatever proves to be a challenge to them.... gambling is not a nerdy activity afaik.

Quote
How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?
This is a competitive market and any patrons you get is better than non..
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 18, 2024, 06:31:57 PM
So far this competition hasn't really impressed me because we have seen way too many draws just like the last edition did and it takes the fun out of the game, but for some reason as we get to the end of the first round of games we have seen more goals coming in which is a good start...

And from the teams that have played so far, I think a few have impressed,Mali was a slow starter but came out guns blazing to win comfortable, and for other teams like Morroco haven't really have had a real test but remain among the favourites, then Ivory Coast being hosts will be expected to go the extra mile, Congo DR is a team I have never thought of to be a good team but they have a solid game and should go far, but if asked who can win this tournament I think  Mali stands a good chance!

Just learnt of this from TG and honestly, its some sad reading going through the OP...felt like shading a tear too but whatever the case you won't go down without a fight...

10 years of fighting shows how much of a fighter you are and I am sure you will push in for more time as miracles do happen and this could be the time for it to happen..

Otherwise, you are a gem to the forum and you will surely not be forgotten... Salute to you LEO!

This is the real test to see your appetite for greed!!

How does someone put in 3 thousand dollars with a payout of 1.8 Million and not cashout Huh This is no brainer am cashing out but if I had an option of partially taking out some profits from this then 50% of offered payout am taking and leaving the rest to play just to push my luck...but then again I might loss it and start to regret not having paid myself that handsome cheque...am not greedy I take what I see...like they say a bird in hand is better than two birds in the bush!
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet.io AFCON 2024 prediction pool discussion thread on: January 16, 2024, 09:15:40 PM
At this stage I was expecting the so called favourites to be more serious with getting results after several upsets... and today we saw Tunisia face the game with a laissez-faire attitude which they were made to pay for with a loss at the hands of an awesome Namibian performance...

Now watching the Mali game and it's already looking like a boredraw thanks to a missed penalty that should have changed the outcome of this game...

Edit:

Is that a penalty???

Burkina Faso nil, Mauritania nil, I smell something in 2nd half.
Sixth sense I guess, and Burkina Faso after being outplayed stole the game with maximum 3 points thanks to late penalty  Cool

Finally we getting winners in this tournament after several unforseen 1-1 draws of which I haven't caught any yet  Roll Eyes and going forward am not playing the favourite card as the draw seems to be unpopular and high rewarding, but going for the draw at this point looking like the best option going forward looking at how results have being coming...

Hello everyone,

I'm Ryhs, one of the owners of Sherbet
And we were thinking Royse was behind this account  Roll Eyes because of the casinocritique username used in some of the images in the games and rounds thread , great to hear you have this cleared  Cool and I confirm receiving my prize without any problems too, thanks sherbet.

And thanks to @AB de Royse777 for making this happen in the background and the assurance that coins will come through, thumbs up to you Smiley

Another issue just happened with my account, I have been verified weeks ago and now sherbet ask me to do KYC again?
This notification message appears when I tried to withdraw the prize I've just received (FYI, I've played some and even lost 30% of the prize):

Below is the proof that I've been verified:

So how can I do another KYC if the start verification button is no longer active for me since I've completed it weeks ago?
KYC twice...never thought this is possible,  guess that's why the button is greyed not to be able to do it twice and needs intervention from support, just hope this is resolved by support asap.

Escrowing the funds is better, do not even open a competition if there is no escrowed funds.
A platform like this  will not escrow funds because they want to try sell their products to you and me by visiting their site and probably playing there in the process when they credit accounts with funds..it's a clever marketing strategy as far as I know...

Delay payment for few days is normal but for weeks is not acceptable whatever the reason is because it shows how unprofessional they are in hosting a competition in this forum. Actually it is contradictive while they can offer daily $1000 competition without issues (at least I do not find any complaint related to the daily $1000 competition) but on the other side they do it badly in this forum for weekly competition with smaller prize pool.
My concern too, on their site these are paid without problems but here on the forum it's a whole different story and wonder where the problem  really is...??

I know escrowing prizes is to prevent situation like this but If they don't escrow the prize there's still some participant who will join the contest especially when the contest is free like the one they are currently running.
I don't know what other competition they are running here, but the last required users using their own money to flay and chase those high multipliers unless you meant the price prediction game which I thought has-been paused for some time now...

496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet.io AFCON 2024 prediction pool discussion thread on: January 14, 2024, 09:51:48 PM
Today we got a true AFCON feeling. Favorites dropping the points left and right. Was really proud to get correct score on Nigeria but did not see Egypt conceding 2 goals. They even needed 97th minute penalty from Salah to save a point. I think this is the pool to try a bit riskier tactic of going against the favorits.
It sacks knowing very well that this competition is almost like la Liga, too many draws to catch a winner and I said it that Egypt or Ghana might not land the maximum points and my gut feeling was right... Now Ghana is playing the last 8 mins of added time and they were below par against a determined Cape Verde....

Wait Cape Verde just scored a winner, WTF confusion in Ghanas back line ...this competition is getting difficult to predict Grin
Ghana 1-2 Cape Verde
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet.io AFCON 2024 prediction pool discussion thread on: January 14, 2024, 07:47:34 AM
Too bad no one took me on Ivory Coast, eh? Nice start for me, but most of you got it spot on too. We're such experts, aren't we?
Going against the host nation, you are such a brave heart...and at this rate sooner or later you should catch an upset as their game wasn't convincing enough from what I saw last evening..

Oh and pool results were quite surprising that so many players hit the bullseye , guys mean business here!

Today should see some serious action and possibly one of the big football nations could be upset...Ghana, Egypt maybe Roll Eyes
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 13, 2024, 07:35:23 PM
Talk about a De Bruyne comeback and steal of a big result from Newcastle, what a game!!

Honestly, I think Newcastle were too comfortable with their 2 goals lead and thought they would get to the finish line but Pep and team had a different plan and got the job done to get maximum points away from home thanks to their persistent pressure on their opponents. With this big result, they move second while trailing league leaders Liverpool and I expect them to keep the Reds in their sight till they mess up...

Kevin De Bruyne scored a goal in the 75th minute and only came on to replace Bernardo Silva in the 69th minute. And I saw that Kevin De Bruyne's kick was not too hard but accurate and made the score equal at 2-2, there was still time for both teams to score but it needed hard work.
However, I think Newcastle will prefer to defend and only take advantage of opportunities when counter-attacking.
These guys had a poor second half as compared to the first half and were reluctant to attack..poor approach tbh and deserve to love  Tongue
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 13, 2024, 02:50:54 PM
Thanks for bringing this up OP, tbh the problem most of us think gambling is easy when that's far from the truth, and to make matters worse gambling using debt money puts pressure on you and you don't get to play freely which makes it a whole recipe for disaster!!!

If you have to gamble, gamble with money that will let you play with a free mind and no pressure on your shoulders and don't mind losing should it not go your way...let debt money  go to doing  some constructive stuff, end of story..

To be honest, I have also been in your situation but not as bad as you, because I didn't borrow money to gamble, I spent all my savings and at that time I was really frustrated
Happens to many, just hope you got yourself out of this debt trap mate Smiley
