401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHC] ChainCoin - 0.9.2.3 Update - Affordable MasterNodes - Cryptopia on: April 20, 2017, 05:14:37 PM
Regarding Masternode setup:

listen=1
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=<key from step 5>
masternodeaddr=<your machine ip>:11994

"your machine ip"  does this refer to internal system ip 10.0.0.x  or  an external ip 174.56.x.x ??

You're external IP  Smiley
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zeth - Discussion on: April 20, 2017, 04:15:25 PM
As expected, thread is finally locked.

He deleted my post last night when I mentioned the thread is soon to be locked which is the final nail in the coffin.

Events resemble exactly with Dave Wilkinson's last projects, it's probably the same person.

Hopefully he'll get doxxed this time and we'll all know who he really is but I expect him to be under 20 most likely a teenager for sure.

When this scammer's identity is revealed, hopefully we can force him to refund everyone.

Tried running a masternode but getting this error:

not capable masternode: Could not connect to my-public-ip:5555

I tried deleting the peer.dat file and restarting the wallet, did not help.

Port is opened confirmed by checking at http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and it says 5555 is opened.

Any ideas guys? I followed the steps, sent myself 100k coins exactly.

oh after sending the 100k to myself, is there a min amount of confirmations needed before the masternode actually works?

After searching alittle in google, appears sending 100k coins might need 15 confirmations before MN will start...waiting to hit that to test.

Try open ports firewall/router
15 confirmations

good =))

Looks like the 15 confirmations did the trick Smiley

Just woke up to see I already started earning coins  Grin

Now that I got 1 masternode working, I tried setting up more the same way.

Sent 100k several times from my balance to the addresses generated using the getaccountaddress command.
Generated Masternodeprivkey after every transaction and placed them in the conf file
Changed the masternode count in the conf file

I restarted the wallet and went ahead and tried masternode start.

It says masternode started remotely but the masternode count did not go up. I then tried masternode start-many and got this:

"overall" : "Successfully started 0 masternodes, failed to start 0, total 0",
    "detail" : {
    }
}

Not sure if it worked but the masternode count did not change.

@jcksteve

Can you add to the OP links for masternode creation guide, coins required to run a masternode. Would help people looking for those.

Like I said many users here have no reason to comment on bitcointalk.. some of us have jobs and are not BUMS trying to make money off signature campaigns. You sound like a 15 year old kid so I can't even take you serious. Get a life and lose your superiority complex because you use an internet forum more than some people

Ok Ben, understood. Trust me I am no bum...unlike you Ben I don't need to scam to make a living.

Being in IT, you spend most of you're time on a computer. BCT is something I visit so please don't try acting like you actually have a job kid.

I would ask if you invested but I am pretty damn sure this is one of Ben's sock puppet accounts or should I say Dave? lol

PS. I have never Threatened Benbtc, I didn't invest my life savings into this to be that angry...just  a tad sour Cheesy

You haven't threatened Ben, but you have insulted many others who still support this project.

I did not insult anyone, stop accusing of me shit I never did. The only person I insulted was myself which I deserved for investing into this one.

You need help my friend, you have lost your mind over this coin. You're Delusional. I am just an small investor who's trying to understand what bashing ZETH on this thread is going to accomplish for you? If is indeed not a scam you're doing nothing but hurting yourself and future success of this project... when people come to research the coin once it hits the exchanges they'll see you crying. This is why I know you did not invest or you are just retarded because if you invested what are you trying to accomplish? keep crying hoping you'll get your money back? There's only one way you're getting your money back and that's when it hits exchanges so shut up, quit crying and be patient. Some of us still believe in this project and hope we will get high returns when it hits exchanges.

Lol Delusional? What for calling this a scam?

Can you proof this project is legit? Just because Ben shows up once a day doesn't make this project legit. We have yet to see anything that remotely proves this project and Benbtc as legit, if you've been in crypto long enough you'd know this has every damn sign of a scam.

Now I rather believe people that have been here for years calling this a scam then a few newbie accounts that mysteriously remember to log in after being dormant for so long just to post in this thread.

Lets list some points here:

-No whitepaper
-No github or any proof of any code (even if not complete, if benbtc was legit why not post the github repo so we can see the development?)
-Escrow is optional, when asked why not have escrow for all investments. Ben claimed "We are not here to scam, we wouldn't want to wreck our reputation", what reputation? He's anonymous and has not provided any past experience with blockchain tech.
-0 transparency to where the funds are, with any other ICO there's an address that reveals the ICO funds. Instead Benbtc apparently mixed the btc and sent them to an exchange (the eth deposits to shapshift). Benbtc said they are being converted to fiat to avoid btc price fluctuations which I understand but did not mention anything about it till we started asking wtf is going on.
-He announced last month 2 new members joining the team, after some of us actually tried looking them up online to see what experience they have. They were non existent, we confronted benbtc about it and he claimed the names are pseudonyms as the new team members don't want to stay anonymous. I understand they'd like to be anonymous why make up names and mention beforehand that those names are the real team member's names?
-One of the supposedly new team members was responsible for bounties and signature campaign, check the sig thread out...it's dead not one post by the imaginary community manager. The new team members apparently have never posted in this thread, never introduced or bct usernames revealed. Another clue that they don't exist and benbtc made those names up.
-Going back to the beginning, benbtc promised stuff that never showed. No whitepaper, no alpha release...etc.
-The massive inflow of newbie accounts (registered in the last weeks and accounts that were dormant for months-years suddenly awoke to post in this thread). Newbie account inflow doesn't indicate a scam but it sure confirms it when other evidence lines up.

Finally Benbtc is threatening to lock this thread and move to the forum he created but yet after creating it, it took him 4 days to actually log in and post something. I've been post over and over again, asking the same questions for weeks now and questions are ignored. Yet he notices when I call this a scam lol.

If you're not a sockpuppet account and really are a new comer then I suggest just spending a few minutes here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1604526.msg16107808#msg16107808

You're such a loser man (smokim87). Who comes on here a bashes a coin who invested in it? Ben presented in this forum from the very start what this project was, its not a complete project yet. Sorry you have no life and live on this thread. I'm not sure why you're so sour, maybe you were hoping for a quick pump and dump. Get a life.

Another laughable thing is the superiority complex some users have against newbies on this forum. Sorry I have a life and research in other ways. You will also be seeing many new newbie accounts in the future as blockchain is gaining new investors.

My guess is smokim87 did not even put money on this coin and is just a basher because he wants Ben's code to make his own Zeth.

Still you're a sock puppet fucktard...

Bashing a coin that is asking for 134 BTC worth of investments without showing a line of code or proof of anything exists.

I invested, as a sock puppet you probably don't both going back a few pages or seeing my posts here.

I made a mistake and invested in this, getting none of our questions answered or any proof leads to this.

Loving how people are defending this crook still, no one bothered to review the last few pages. If you're not a sock puppet account review the entire thread and come back and tell me if I am wrong.

Newbie accounts that are dormant for months and suddenly wake up to post in Zeth lol? The amount of newbie accounts that flow into a coin's thread like this have a 99% of turning into a scam.

So stfu with you're bullshit, am sour for getting scammed off course anyone would be. I'm also sour for falling for this shit, still amazed how I did.

411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Database on: April 19, 2017, 07:36:40 PM
Just wondering, were all 650M coins sold?

How much BTC did you end up collecting from the ICO? From what I see the max would be 6.5 BTC correct?

Just wondering as I couldn't from anything on Coin market cap yet.

We (Borzalom and myself) were not behind the ICO. That is some scammer... If you take the time to read through our thread you will see this is a community take over.

All 650 million coins that were bought during the ICO were all bought by investors, myself and Borzalom included. These coins were all secured when the Borzalom hardforked the chain.Then after completing all requirements by C-CEX, we officially switched over the XtraBYtes and we were off and running.

Below is the announcement we made on the old Bitmox thread when this occurred:

BIG NEWS!!!

WOW is the best way to start this post and not because of the activity today on the exchange. That is just the beginning of great volumes to come Wink

First of all, we apologize for the delay in posting some new information. We have been in a bit of a stalemate with C-CEX and communication was very limited with them.

It was also a bit nerve-racking because the C-CEX position was that Borzalom owed them 650 million coins (because of the Bitmox scammer trying to pull another fast one).

If you can imagine, the Bitmox Scammer was actually trying to take control of XBY again and was accusing Borzalom of being the scammer... C-CEX did not see a solution because not enough time was spent communicating with us (for CLEAR understanding) and they were therefore looking for suggestions to replace the 650 million XBY they (thought they) lost as a result of the scammer crying to them about his Bitmox scam chain and not realizing YET that Borzalom did everything PROPERLY.

So, I believe a big thank you is warranted for each of you who got the activity happening on the exchange today because this probably got the attention we needed, to have a proper chat, and now things are resolved.

In the end, Borzalom resent the transaction proofs for the XtraBYtes (real) chain and also showed that the Bitmox (scam) chain was only 330 blocks long and ONLY the scammer deposited there. He then showed how he properly premined all the XBY coins that were owned by each of the genuine owners (all of us) and how he (this was the key) premined them directly into to the C-CEX wallet for XBY, which ONLY C-CEX has the private keys for.

Once the C-CEX people saw that this was the case, they immediately said we were good to go!!

[0:25:50] C-CEX.com: I need to recheck all manually.
[0:25:54] Borzalom: ok
[0:26:12] C-CEX.com: My apologies upfront if it's me not getting all thing correctly.
[0:26:14] C-CEX.com: Sorry for taking your time
[0:27:57] C-CEX.com: Ok I checked differentialy several TX and they all valid and has confs
[0:28:10] C-CEX.com: I'm sorry for taking so much of your time. Now I understand all is good.
[0:28:14] Borzalom: Ok. Thank your support.

So, this means the recovery of XBY is OFFICIALLY 100% complete!! YEAH!!

Thank you all for your patience and congratulations for all of you who own XBY.

We believe the next few weeks will make you very happy because with what is coming next, the price will not be staying at 1 or 2 satoshis.

Have an AWESOME day!!

So, no BTC for us... We are investors in every every way. We paid BTC to buy XBY and now we are paying with our time to turn this into a great company.

You are welcome to join us!

Thanks for your interest.

Thanks!

How much did that scumbag run away with?

Why delisted it on bittrex?

They would? That would definitely be an upset. Traders are all there actually and with just one news from the team a volume of more than 10 BTC can happen, they got to consider that. I think Bittrex is decent exchange that won't delist a good coin.

This is not a good coin.

Bittrex checks coin development before delisting too. When they see the shit show here their going to delist this shit...Yobit won't even pick this turd up and their cancer lol.

They got away with almost 2M bucks...nothing to worry about either  Embarrassed

Any idea on the current supply at the moment?

Went through posts and found little bits here and there but nothing conclusive.

Coinmarketcap is showing supply unknown.

May I ask what the current total supply is now.
Current available supply and finally how much does the dev have of those coins.

Might want to check out coinmarketcap and get the missing info filled.
Hi, Coinmarketcap will be fixed shortly. I already sent API changes.
There are 10mln tokens

Cool, thanks Smiley

Price is dropping, does this project have a real dev, or are you pumpers trying to scam the common folk? Not nice!!  Wink This project doesn't even compare to the top masternode coins.

It's being revived...

Hi all, you guys are making it extremely hard to run a legitimate project here, we have the same members repeat spamming the thread, as you all may know i do not delete posts, so its looking a little messy in here, please do not get to the point of threatening myself and my team members, otherwise ill be forced to close the thread and only use zeth.tech.

Results do not happen instantaneously, i'm posting here when i can, but when im not, there is nothing new to post, development is going as planned, i'm way over my head with remaining distribution and legal communications i have to tend to.

If Zeth is a scam, the why are we still here? wouldn't i be on a luxury yacht somewhere drinking champagne never to log in again? what would i be gaining right now? give it a rest, the project is going forward and is currently being developed.

Do yourselves a favor and block Smokim87, who is the instigator of the fear.

Regards,
Ben

Thanks Ben! Much love and support! XO

lol....

I'm not the one you should fear, you should be fearing the ones that are actively doxing you. I invested into this crap and apparently as an investor I am not allowed to ask the important questions you've been dodging for almost 2 months.

Love it how you should up for a minute then disappear till the next day, don't address a single post over the last 24 hours.

You haven't even distributed the remaining bounties, investor's coins. I mean you took down the site instead of just disabling deposit addresses, shit is disorganized, messy and you seem to not give a shit otherwise you'd be logged in for a few hours sorting this shit out but I guess you got you're cash nothing else matters.

Pretty sure no one is going to listen to you and block me except the sock puppet accounts and a few fans.

is jcksteve reviving this coin or just the thread creator?

No one seems to know any details, some clarification would be nice.

we're part of icash!

awesome, happy to see this revived. 1000 coins for a MN with 200M supply will allow anyone to create a masternode which imo lowers the chance of one person owning the majority of MNs. Other coins seem to be trying to use MNs to create a supply shortage to inflate prices. I believe the high supply and cheap MN requirement benefits a coin more then price increase follows, it shouldnt be the other way around.
