First of all, if you read is that nonsense then you dont know the whole story. I want to stay on topic with dmd. First that thread is a few trolls that did not agree with my structure of a coin. Thats all. I have NEVER taken, stolen , ran off with people funds , ever. Now Ive done the OPPOSITE where money was stolen from Pokeytex because he downloaded a mining program and it had a keylogger in it, and he had every coin stolen including fly , which I am the OP of that. BUT, fly has many security unique measures built in. His 4300 fly that were stolen were sent to a safe account called superfly that I hold. At the time that pile would have been worth $2000. I then had full possession of it. I returned ALL of his money AND I sent him 1000 dmd to help him out from his loss. Now, I could have ran off or made some excuse that I didnt get his coins or whatever. But I wont sell my integrity. Here is the short version of what happend with XDE2, I setup a premine for my team to pay for continued development, as we have. Thats all. I want to be paid for my time. Dont you think a scammer would have taken all of that money? EXACTLY. Pokey lost all his dmd, I sent him 1000 dmd just to help him out. So, tell me again why I am a scammer?

EVERYTHING Vegasguy said is TRUE!!! I did lose all of my coins. He did donate 1,000 DMD to me as well as save my Flycoin through the antidump feature. (Thank God!) You guys are smoking crack or sipping ether if you think for a moment that Cryptonit or Vegasguy are scammers! In fact the concept is so funny that if you truly new anything about them they are just the opposite. I have invested some where around 15 BTC in DMD and Flycoin over the years and even though I lost all of my DMD I have never once been scammed or shorted by either Cryptonit or Vegasguy. Do we have any miners around here? I would love to see an initiative brought on by the miners. With 100 th/s of sha256 that's around 0.4 btc / day. plus the % increase of transfercoin. After only 1 week at 100 th/s that would be 2.7 bitcoin in buys. Also pushing the price back up into the 4000 satoshi range. We still seem to have quite a bit of sell pressure which should be the opposite considering there are only 1440 coins generated per day. And the IRC tipbot only add's another ~240 per day. That's IF every user sells their coins.
Infernoman - can you please explain the mining process of Transfercoin? edit - or do you mean multipool? I look through the OP and don't see a definitive guide on how to set up to mine at multipool? |

Well - I am in CHIP for 1 BIG reason. Banzai is an honest , hard working developer
and a great person. He tells it like it is. He works on his own schedule but, let's
us know it. The wallet is always improving and the community continues to grow.

Never thought we would see 500 and above so soon with CHIP . Went a lot faster then I had hoped .
Not complaining tho , its still worth more than 500 , with the low supply.

So having invested in Warpcoin and Shapetwist from the beginning I can tell you that it feels a lot like a scam now. If I look back on the situation I was extremely happy with Shapetwist. His communication was great and he was constantly in the forum and on slack discussing Warpcoin. All of a sudden he started making threats and was actually buying and selling Warpcoin for profit. For me i see that as deplurable. Especially when you control the market and know inside information. i received a semi working Windows version of the wallet that never connected to a VPN. I was told it was being worked on. Shortly after that Shapetwist shut down Slack blaming everything on a few folks that were apparently pushing him for information. I think Shapetwist is using this as an excuse to screw everyone. i am not sure how he sleeps at night. i guess you are either a scammer or you are a true person. In my opinion Shapetwist knew he was killing the coin and I am beginning to believe it was his goal from the start. i am naive and have faith in people. i thought he was the real thing but he hasn't shown us anything other than childish temper tantrums. He reminds me a lot of J.G. from Paycoin. He approached us in Wire app to consider joining a "Board". I could join if I donated another .85 BTC or so.  i must have had "DUMB" written on my forehead! I thought of doing it briefly and then snapped back to reality that I was just pissing the BTC away investing in something Shapetwist cannot deliver on. Anyway - be very wary investing anything into the new Warpcoin or sister coin he may tout. While I did not lose money on this deal my read was way off on this guy. I wouldn't invest another dime into him nor would i support something new. Just my opinion and heresay. I hope @shapetwist proves me wrong. If he does I will be the first to eat my words! You think he had enough time to sell 100% of his Warp before he went dark and locked the thread? Seems odd that he would crash the price prior to having a chance to sell his whole stash. I think he was manipulating all along. Talk shit, crash price, buy coins, talk up the coin, sell, do something crazy/talk shit, crash price, buy coins - rinse repeat. Look at the pattern. Like I said only opinion. Dev can prove me wrong. |

Which stratum pool is the best? I tried to Suprnova and dcr.maxminers.net. However, terribly poor. On Suprnova I for 24 hours was only 1 DCR with 2800 MH / s, and the https://dcr.maxminers.net I had a lot less. I am using http://yiimp.ccminer.org/ with great luck. No problems after trying the other pools. |

Should be very easy to adjust mining software since SpreadX11 (both the X11-part and the Spread anti-pool-mechanism-part) stay exactly the same, just a new byte has to be introduced, and somekind of GUI or CMD input read in so that miners can type in or set their vote. (Or simply let them write in their vote in the conf file, and it will be used from then on.)
Right now I'm creating an experimental build for testnet that will allow us to CPU-mine and set our vote and observe how the percentage changes over time (1440 votes per day).
Should be fun. I hope to have it finished in a few hours.
I'm not a big fan of having to modify miner software especially since some paid for optimized closed source miners which will probably not get updated. Would it be possible for the wallet to add the voting part when a block is found (from via the .conf or something?) while using current mining softwares? I hear you, but we will have to adjust the miner software at some point anyway. Not just because of the mining voting, but because servicenodes themselves will require an adjustment/fork of the blockchain. And whenever something in the blockchain changes, the miners have to be changed too... so this is nothing new. What we can do is reduce the amount of forks to a minimum. When servicenodes go testnet and are successful we will create three new miners (in-wallet-CPU miner, and a GPU miner for AMD, and a GPU one for Nvidia). Any chance for an FPGA miner? Specifically Cairnsmore1 unit bitstreams?  Pretty please with sugar on top? |
