401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 22, 2023, 03:44:38 PM
~~
I think anyone can still use other friendly crypto alternatives with cheaper transaction costs to gamble or pay for something on the internet, so in my opinion, bitcoin gamblers who are currently still active in using bitcoin, I consider them to be rich people because of the high value of bitcoin. the more expensive it is, they still use it to gamble and have fun instead of using it as an investment asset for the future.

With this market congestion of the bitcoin transaction, those platforms have their exchange inside their platform is the most suitable with this kind of feature of alternatives because players can make an exchange and easily cashout with the lesser fees at the same time if they want to play the coins they exchange to the casino still possible, rarely seen have this kind of feature, but if they will implement this in every casino could be a high impact like this current transaction fees.

Additionally, There’s also a casino that still offer free withdrawals like Sportsbet and its sister company. It’s more convenient to use them now instead of casino with exchange feature because you will still pay conversions fee and withdrawal fee in the end.

Also casino like Duelbits can be a good a addition on the casino that is good during congestion since it automatically convert your deposit currency to the casino default coins then let you choose on what currency you will withdraw later on which is almost equivalent on having built in exchange feature.
402  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gamer Streamer to Gambling Streamer? on: December 21, 2023, 08:29:16 PM

403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have any one had experiences with banned bank/providers because of gambling? on: December 21, 2023, 08:12:22 PM
Is it because of the gambling activities that got his account banned or it is because of the legitimacy of the funds that raven are more concerned about?

Is there any gambling platform that needs to be avoided?

Since i woke up we've been trying to contact their support for complaint and no response yet. Is there anyone with similar experience?

It’s not about gambling platform you need to avoid but rather you should check your bank account policy about their stand about gambling activity. Some bank doesn’t allowed their customers to receive funds from gambling especially if your country doesn’t allowed online gambling.

This is the danger of using a centralized platform such as bank because they can freeze your account indefinitely if you failed to fully read their terms.

405  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: December 18, 2023, 05:47:00 PM
Welcome to the ANN thread, almost a mirror of the chatwall on BV. Love that, don't get me wrong, just terrible to see it here. Worse, from their own sig campaigners too. Sadly, the last two posts I reported for quotewall spam on this thread went unhandled, I guess they live on the borderline of what's considered spam. I hope the campaign managers see these comments and stop rewarding really poor posts. It's been two years of them rehashing the same crap of LL and the campaign.

This quotewall is not considered as spam per se but rather just unpleasing in the eyes. Many(signature campaign participants) think that doing this will make their post looks longer and interactive while in reality I don’t see the point the need to include the quote of the 3rd to 8th guy if all of them will be snip out as shown on the screenshot.  Cheesy

The forum's definition of beating dead horses probably belongs to this thread.

You probably didn’t visit Betfury thread.  Wink
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: December 18, 2023, 05:27:37 PM
Drinking and betting is like blindfolded fire juggling!  Simple. Alcohol impairs brain decision-making. No longer playing, the game plays you. People chase losses or wager big on high-risk bets. A classic disaster recipe.

I love the thrill of gambling, the adrenaline rush, and the heart-pounding exhilaration. Fun, after all! Keep it clever. Drinking and gambling? That's foolish - giving Lady Luck your pocketbook and saying, Go crazy! Be smart when gambling online or at the casino. Gamble wisely and for fun, but don't drink until the games are over. You play wisely and keep the excitement alive that way!

It depends on what gambling games you are playin since game like slot games is a no brainer game which you can play even if you are blindfolded or sleeping through the use of auto spin. Auto spin on slot games has different option now that let you control your spins on given condition set.

On this kind of luck based game, Drinking some alcohol will not gonna give a handicap unless you will bet all-in because you are just watching and waiting for the result when playing this kind of game unlike poker games that requires you to think to win the game.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake vs Drake Event: a total ripoff on: December 18, 2023, 05:21:42 PM
Most users don't wager $20,000 ... let alone $10,000 in the past 7 days .... and even if hypothetically someone would have done it, risking $20k to win $5 is more than absurd. This is a borderline scam.

I’m not a regular Stake player but I think some of cash drop will be given during the live stream by Drake because I remember watching of his earlier stream before and he is giving away huge money on his live viewers. Stakes code drop during the event is probably separate to the actual code drop for the Stake vs Drake event.

I don’t have a Stake account but it will be helpful if you will provide links about the terms of this event.
408  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceX.cc ❤️ crypto dice, 11 cryptocurrencies, bonuses, faucet on: December 18, 2023, 04:41:15 PM
A website with a .cc extension is hard to take seriously and you can't even see the who;e site without registering. lol It's a free website afaik. Expect this to be a scam.

I doubt someone will register for it when there are hundreds to thousands of options around. If you want to play dice, every casino we have here in the forum has it also. And almost all coins and tokens today have a casino dedicated to the token itself.

Website extension doesn’t matter anymore since many scam casino is already using .com and other “premium” extension just to look like a legit casino while it just cost few dollars because the domain name is what matters anymore to determine premium of the website.

But on this case, The website is clearly new and offer only dice game that is already widely offer by all casino. I doubt many user will be interested to deposit here while there’s tons of games as options in different casino.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 18, 2023, 03:55:08 PM
In a situation where the both spouse are gamblers. Husband gambles, wife gambles, how can both of them manage the situation in terms of finance and the family affairs especially when children are now involve so that the time both spends on gambling doesn't affect family moments and affairs in general.

This a dumb argument to discuss with. Gambling was supposed to be use for entertainment purposes only while both of them already have children that they can spend time together instead of gambling. They should think about responsibility first before they start having a children because both of them is immature especially the wife that was supposed to take care the children at home.

This is not a major issue to discuss since they should knew already the answer to their problem and start to become responsible parents and gambler at the same time.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local Base Or International Based Online Casino on: December 18, 2023, 03:41:01 PM
Familiar face Big Boy Cheng! One of my favorite gambling streamer and collector on PH. I’m not sure if this game will be popular like e-sabong because the game is just simple and boring. The only reason why e-sabong become popular is because sabong is already popular in physical games while people that usually play sabong doesn’t have chance to play due to pandemic restrictions.

Ang is probably just using the popularity of e-sabong to his new game since both game is not even related to each other.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I finally sold my computer and bought bitcoin. I don't regret . on: December 17, 2023, 06:00:07 PM
I sold my computer and bought about 0.006 bitcoin.
For the rest of the money, I saved it in my bank account.
I hope this decision is right.
The decision is only right when you have an extra PC for work if you have not then I think this is not the best decision. I saw many people who love Bitcoin and want to invest in it to gain profit but with the lack of capital they did not do this,

The computer he sold is just a spare computer since he has a laptop according to his reply on the first thread.

Yes. I have Samsung laptop. It's a small laptop, but I think I can use it for my college life.

Selling something valuable that is already redundant is really a good idea to get a quick capital for investment. I have a spare motorcycle too that I sold last bear market just to buy the dip and now I manage to purchased brand new one using my profit.
412  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: December 17, 2023, 05:11:56 PM

413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 17, 2023, 05:07:20 PM
It's painful to watch this Pistons.

Well, the Pistons are one step closer to making NBA history. They need to lose 6 more games in a row, and then they'll break that 76ers record. Remarkably, the Pistons will have only one top opponent for the next 6 games(the Celtics), while the other 5 games will be against pretty average opponents. It seems like the Pistons have a pretty good schedule to win at least 1 game, but they look so hopeless that even teams like the Hawks, Nets, Raptors, and Jazz will beat them probably without much effort.

LoL. I just check the standings. What they did is extremely painful in the eyes for their franchise. I wonder how low does the ticket price when watching on their home court especially when they have a match against Spurs.

I bet they are competing against Spurs for getting the 1st draft pick for having this kind of terrible losing streak. Sometimes, I think the drafting system makes the team intentionally be bad for that season.  Cheesy
414  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction is pending because fee was too low, now what on: December 17, 2023, 03:54:45 PM
One final question. As the fee is expressed in sats/vb. How do I know how many vbytes my transaction is?

Do you use Bluewallet because I only experience this on bluewallet whenever I open it while my data is still not on then load the wallet. You can check your transaction on blockchain explorer to see what fee is used is sats/vB format. Mempool is the best explorer to determine suggested fee and the details of the transaction.

You use a high fee so you just need to wait a little until the mempool clear some space.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who lost money due to dogecoin? on: December 17, 2023, 03:42:48 PM
So we all remember the time when dogecoin first came out, it was such a hyped-up altcoin, and everybody was excited about it. People start investing into the coin, and then it ends up sky rocketing! Who here was one of the people who invested into dogecoin while it was around the 60 cent mark, and wanted it to go up even higher, but then ended up losing a ton of money? Well I’m one of those people, and currently, dogecoin seems to be doomed, and I haven’t seen it get past the 10 cent mark in so long, and doubt that it will anytime soon. Coin doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, so for that could we get an RIP dogecoin in the chat?

Are you new to crypto because I remember seeing dogecoin below 0.01$ when I’m still newbie here in the forum. Your narrative looks like you just enter during the last bullrun while Dogecoin is one of the oldest coin in crypto which the price hover below. 1cent for a long time before it goes to 60cent mark like the story you are describing.

There’s tons of people gain on Dogecoin compared to loss because only those newly enter trader on the last bullrun is the one who purchase on higher price while the rest purchase on pretty much lower price even on the current price.
416  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: December 16, 2023, 05:45:53 PM

417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 16, 2023, 04:29:07 PM
It is recommended to read but due to the repetitive signups we do to multiple websites all of which have the terms and conditions, it gets tiring sometimes besides we have no intention of breaking any rules.

Besides, Most of the rules written on the casino ToS is self explanatory and basic common sense. They just differ on some technical aspect of game such as when match is cancel and other unexpected scenarios but the rest of the rules is just easy to follow and you will no problem if you are just playing regularly.

Most of the players having problem with the casino are those trying to outsmart the casino by exploiting promotions and other bug in the game that can give guarantee profit.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember when Twitch banned gambling? Now they allow nudity! on: December 16, 2023, 04:23:27 PM
Ironically, now artistic nudity is allowed (And who is going to define the limit between what is artistic and what is pornography?)!

Here we can see the double standards of Twitch's developers. Gambling was condemned as something outrageous, but nudity is fine as family friendly content...

Why do you think gambling has been being treated in a different manner by Twitch?

The real reason why gambling ban on twitch is because some streamers are asking for funding to their viewers which cause harm to their consumers. It’s not about being family friendly but rather the potential harm of gambling to the user of their platform that might cause them some lawsuit once affected users already file a complaint.

On the other hand, Artistic nudity is allowed in every social media platform. I don’t find them wrong as a man because it’s not a direct porno. Besides Twitch is not a family friendly platform tho.
419  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OWL.GAMES CASINO - SCAM!!! on: December 16, 2023, 03:38:06 PM
You can only contact support if you have an account. Nothing can be done from that account at all, I created a new account and am writing to them.
Unfortunately you make a big mistake here, even you're an innocent, but you broke their rules for creating new account. So they can use this rule to confiscate your funds and close your accounts. Owl.games was previously active in this forum, but they decide to temporary leave the forum, so I don't see their casino is still good to gamble.

Only one Account for each household, IP, PC is allowed. If you attempt to open more than one Member Account, all accounts you try to open may be blocked or closed and any bets may be voided.

The irony on their ToS was they are claiming that they are a web3 casino which means user doesn’t need to create an account but rather just connect their web3 wallet to have an account instantly. Their ToS is confusing since they make the registration in web3 format which means they are giving the freedom for user to instantly create an account using their wallet address only.

One thing I don’t understand about multiple account restriction is why they need to do that if there’s no bonus abused involved. People keeps changing wallet address for their investment and it’s the benefit of having a web3 platform.
420  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 15, 2023, 11:39:24 PM

Now that you are saying that, I am pretty sure that I was getting my months and weeks mixed up... so I was thinking $300 per month and it was probably something closer to $300 per week.. so yeah, my own memory was down playing the payment amounts... and therefore shows why so many members are inclined towards wearing signatures, and I did have a couple of years of wearing signatures, but after a while, I just was finding it to be too much of a hassle.

There’s already some campaign like from @icopress that doesn’t have minimum post requirements to get payment. Campaigns is now adjusting to employ quality poster like you in the forum by removing the hassle of meeting post quota.

You mean @JayJuanGee? You might want to rethink, he won't he was just making a point. Smiley

Someone who was not tempted to join any campaign when the m!xers are active with a big money, I don't believe he can be interested this time. Is it for the money? I believe that someone like him should go for a special package among the campaigns if at all he wants to earn from campaigns. He might talk to any of the CMs and I believe a good deal would be achieved since he has all it takes.

But I don't think JayJuanGee is ready for that and his activity on the forum during the thick and thin times is highly commendable.

I’m not trying to convince him to join on a campaign. I’m just trying to share that signature campaign now is already evolving to make natural quality poster attracted to join due to relax rule of no post quota which he just use to make a point on his post.

I follow JJG for a long time and I saw him joined signature campaign before when I’m still newbie here in forum last 2016.
