Branko, or anyone else that might know; how often should the cards get re-pasted? My have been running ~55°C for about 3 months now.
What do you mean by "re-pasted"? If you mean thermal grease paste, most of cards don't even have cooler on memory (gigabyte does have, too bad they use shitty hynix RAM on some of cards) and if you mine ethereum paste on GPU should be OK, as you can underclock and undervolt GPU without affecting hashrates much. 55C is like nothing  |

Hello. I updated my driver to the latest version on AMDs site, dated july 27th, v17.7.2 and now I can succesfully run Prospector 0.0.8, but my MSI Afterburner does not let me OC my gpus. Does anyone know a quick fix for this? I'm getting 112 MH/s with 6 rx 570, which is pretty good for stock, but I want to OC it

All 3 versions downloaded on mega (3; 2.66; 2.65) contain the virus. My PC regularly extremely lagging on the Internet by ~24+ hours after power-up, but after the program was uninstalled everything went fine.
How did you "install" and "deinstall" program that doesn't have installer and deinstaller? Did just fact that it sat in some directory made your PC lagging? Translator made a mistake, I just deleted. All problems are gone as the program was deleted. Old versions (e.g. 2.2) by the way did not have problems. Still doesn't make sense...IF it would be virus it would inject some code elsewhere and take control of your PC. Simply deleting it would do nothing, malicious code would still be there |

Use Windows 7 with AMD 15.16 drivers with your R9 270X and mine ZEC with them. You will get 190H/s
If you are getting dropping GPUs, maybe your ribbon risers from 2012 are damaged. With massive heat they get hard and can easily break when bent.
I think expanse is a bit more profitable with his cards, specially if he manages to make good straps |

Btw, I think I found a bit of reason why Hynix on Gigabyte RX560 don't OC too well:  R0 version of that hynix chip seems to be 6GHz version, so on stock frequency its actually already overclocked, for 7GHz it should be T2 version If anyone else took photo of their ram chips and have T2 version, please post picture and card type here |

How you OC, and what ATI driver you use
I am using polaris bios editor to copy 1500 mem strap all the way down to 2000 as one rom and then I create another rom copying 1750 down to 2000. I then use atiflash as admin via the command prompt to flash those roms. Of course I restart after each rom. I've already patched the drivers so they are recognized by windows. Then I will see if I can add more hashing power by making adjustments in MSI Afterburner. you can also use mining-ready operating systems as simpleminingOS or ethosdistro. in these systems OC is easier than windows.
I've tried simplemining os and it doesn't overclock for me. If you're using latest 17.7.2 driver, you can only OC through wattman or latest beta afterburner (4.4 15 or something like that) Also, using 1500 strap could be too aggressive |

Haha. I dont think there is any use in mining with rx 580 560 or any version like this. These are very week gpu in the industry. You can try any miner from 710 gtx onwards to get most of the profits from the pools. The thing is 580 and 560 are not capable of generating the atmost hashrate. The heating is too much and the design is not moderate for cooling down the heat. Anyway thats my point of view. but i wont prefer them.
You probably missed all the hype last half a year...did you do tour in Afghanistan or Iraq maybe? |

Did anyone manage to get memory errors in hwinfo
on cards based on micron memory?
My cards always restart/BSOD before any errors show up,
leading me to conclusion that either micron memory don't report
errors or controller can't read them from micron, or hwinfo
doesn't support reading errors from micron
Hynix based cards behave normal

In the archive only exe there is no file readme how to configure the launch. Where to look for information about the launch. How much time should I spend? Why you can not put an archive file with an example like this makes claymore.
